1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are only a part of the problem, but but the whole problem on: November 06, 2018, 06:25:06 AM

Some solid projects have done bounties in the past and a lot of them are still very strong

bounties are mostly between 1-3% of a total budget... So, I don't think bounties alone can be blamed for a cryptocurrency dumping terribly.

Many people invest in icos in presales, I`m one of them. We get nice bonuses, discounts, and when it comes to exchanges we collect profit. Not in every ico is possible to invest in presales, some of them now asks for huge amounts if you wish to participate in presales.
I think when prices start to goes down the team is responsible in the first place, later everyone else. Problem is how they put their idea in realization, how they organized bounty, sales, later token distribution, to the point where token hits exchanges.

1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think 2017 was the best Year for Crypto on: November 04, 2018, 08:38:25 AM
I would suggest that public perception was behind the movement last year, and it will take a massive media story, or a revolution in btc usage in order for a major spike to happen.
But it will happen, massive media stories are so common in 21 century. What triggers one massive media story? Many things, you can tell that by the videos that are becoming viral over night, and some of them are really stupid.
Next wave can happen next year, or in couple years, I believe in that and I`m patiently waiting. I`m waiting patiently, but I`m not sitting around, I work to make some more coins, I read about new ones every day, thinking to get in or not.
1124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey from gambling to trading on: November 03, 2018, 12:30:16 PM
Yes when first jump in to trading, we should be more focus to learn about management of risk and money and dont set the target profit first, the more important thing how to minimize the risk first. And after we have some strategies to minimize the risk and then we can set the target monthly profit. So make risk management is very important first.
I was also guilty of this at first, but my determination actually helped me over the years and I realized that eventually the time I was using to do trial and error, I would not have taken that much of a time to learn and start doing things right.

All you need is just a good strategy, confidence in executing the strategy without emotions, understanding the importance of reward risk ratio and money management and you will find yourself doing better over time. Those who have no strategy when it comes to trading are just busy gambling, and until you give yourself some brain, and you do things the right way, you will just keep making silly mistakes.
You are not guilty for anything, for every knowledge we need to pay something, somehow. When you can lose just money its the most simplest, you have money for practice, you tried things, you learned about everything. When you don`t have money you need to lose a lot of time and energy to learn something.
Most of us, if not all, lost a lot in trading and gambling before we learned how to take care of bankroll management, before we learned all the tricks, and come to the point where we earn more than we lose.
1125  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin contribution to World' income on: November 03, 2018, 10:40:50 AM
While Bitcoin's contribution to world income is really small. But this is good, as the market has room to grow.
It was even smaller in the beginning, compared with that times now its much bigger. Market cap is higher every year, I think that in next 5 years, more or less, we need to hit trillion dollars market cap. That is relatively small compared with other financial institutions but with going up and up bitcoin can be one of the most expensive assets in the world. I think market have a lot of free space for growing, among the people, companies and later countries, there is so much free space bitcoin can conquer.
1126  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why other ban cryptocurrencies on: November 02, 2018, 04:56:23 PM
I believe that governments don't like to support cryptocurrencies right now, because they want only to support their fiat and local currencies, and because cryptocurrencies are decentralized, so governments can't control their prices and markets.
Why governments always look at the negative side of Bitcoin, they did not know the good bring into it especially when it comes transactions. If they afraid that Bitcoin may use in illegal activities such as money laundering or fraudulent that may affect the economic growth in the country why they didn't put regulation on have their own regulated wallet where to store Bitcoin not to direct in Bitcoin because it is decentralized, every person who holds Bitcoin must be passed on KYC procedure on their wallet to easily track the transactions.
And what is negative side of bitcoin towards bitcoin, the fact that they cant regulate bitcoin like they want to. Bitcoin is decentralized and all the governments are centralized, thats the flux between them. What is the point, its that blockchain can replace entire governments, and maybe they are afraid of that. When you look who legalized bitcoin you can notice that just countries that are open for new things can accept bitcoin, and those countries are much more advanced than the rest of the world.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why is the crypto market down day after day? on: November 02, 2018, 07:01:53 AM
I've been wondering to ask this same question, as I do not understand why it keeps going down day in day out. This is just unlike the crypto we all know last year. This year is just as drastic as anything. I just hope the market recovers as soon as possible, and I hope that this won't happen next year, cause if it continues like this, Ethereum may go back to 50usd.
You have the same problem like op, but how many days are you here? Do you observe the market since you joined or since market exist? Dont measure market by your time spent here, do it like it has to be done, do it from the beginning. Market is stronger day after day, and after years we see that market is measured in billions of dollars, to be accurate 205 billions in this moment. Check the market cap in 2012, 15, 16 and you will understand what I`m saying here. Look at the bigger picture, dont just watch yourself and your investment in probably the worst possible moment, at top.
1128  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Have you ever bought a product with Bitcoin and what do you want to buy? on: November 01, 2018, 07:29:21 AM
to buy something using bitcoin I once bought accessories using bitcoin payments but not all platforms can accept bitcoin payments, but I have not used too much of my bitcoin anymore, I prefer to try to grow bitcoin that I have in order to grow a lot because of bitcoin this will become very rare.
I also use bitcoin for local purchases, buying something from my friends in bitcoin who know about bitcoin, but in broad minded there is still not a single shop in my area who are accepting bitcoin for shopping there. We can only hold bitcoin or can use it for purchasing other crypt currencies.
I did the same thing, most of us here do it. Its how bitcoin came to this point, from friend to friend, and thats the best way for spreading. I bought games for pc with bitcoins, I wanted to buy I phone with bitcoins but I was scammed here on forum by a reputable member in that time, that was a year ago. I learned in a hard way that when ever you want to buy something use escrow, dont do any business without it. What ever you want to buy with bitcoins its possible, you can always find someone who knows someone, but with using escrow you keep yourself safe.
1129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you buy Cryptocurrency ? on: November 01, 2018, 06:28:58 AM
I bought them because I saw it as a golden limestone to bring wealth to us. You keep thinking if we own a few Altcoins and when they increase like Bitcoin I might change my life.
Every one who invested in cryptocurrency had been motivated by money-the big money- people collected as boom of 2017 dawned. This attracted so many people from around the world and they did invest.

In addition to profit, they could get many other benefits like a reduction in the fee or charges that were required to pay in a bank if the transfer of money was being done by a bank. It gave birth to instant transactions as well as instant growth and security.
I don`t think that everyone is motivated by big money, some people made that money and they are still here for fun and cause of the technology that is probably the future of economy. We all know that money plays important role in our lives, but some people are over that, it comes with financial security and when a man is fully formed, that kind of man knows when its enough. Maybe the number of this mans is small, but there are people who think about humanity and how to make something good for all of us, Satoshi is that man, one of them.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to Crypto, Any Advice? on: October 31, 2018, 08:01:37 AM
Don't blindly participate in the ICO project investment and don't blindly believe that someone tells you the future of a coin. Investment is a self-contained project, and you must think independently.
Don`t do anything blindly, especially dont give money without checking for what you are giving money actually. This is only advice we can give to newbies, even thou we are here for a lot longer we dont know everything, there are so many new things and most of us trying to keep up, we check things, we read about new things, to sum it up we are learning every day about crypto world, be sure that this learning process last for years and i think there is no end of learning about crypto.
1131  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: October 31, 2018, 05:46:19 AM
What do you think will happen with the cryptocurrency in the future?
no one can answer with certainty the future development of crypto currencies because it's already the risk and nature of investment with crypto currencies but if our beliefs will make crypto currencies develop
When ever we try to predict the future its like gambling, more or less, there is not 100% true prediction. Like in headline, cryptocurrency - future, its like that, which cryptocurrencies will survive trough years and make a name is impossible to say. I go with some main and popular coins, but I pay attention on small ones too. Many of them will fail to deliver what they promised, but there are real hidden gems among cheap coins. Cryptocurrencies are the future same as internet is future, many people are online, but in future whole world will be on internet, and everyone will use cryptocurrencies.
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy new coins? on: October 30, 2018, 07:37:34 PM
I buy and earn new coins, like most of us here. I am long term trader, only like that is possible to make some profit with not so big risking. I cant guess which number of new coins will succeed in future, reach some high price and strong community, some will succeed some will fail, I think we need to diversify and have more coins in possession, just one is to big risk. So people start to buy cheap coins after your research, now its the moment to buy a lot of coins with couple dollars, in future, just one coin will be a lot of dollars.

It's more on the earning for me through bounties. I don't really feel confident about new coins especially nowadays and the risk is too much for me to spend out of my own pocket. Though back in the days it was quite worth the risk. Now it sems there are more scam than legitimate ones.
In a way I dont feel like I`m giving money from my own pocket. When I receive tokens from bounty I diversify, I sell some and with that I buy something else. When I think that some token can be a great thing I buy it from my bitcoin stash, its good to be involved from the beginning. Some people don`t have time for bounties, other don`t have bitcoin stash, some need to invest from their own pocket, its good to be involved how you will come to that its not so important. There are a lot of scams but its worth the risk if you find couple legit projects that have potentially great future.
1133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONT INVEST IN BTC IF YOU CAN'T OR AFRAID OF TAKING RISK on: October 30, 2018, 06:24:54 PM
Life its self is a risk. There's no risk i can not take as far as the earth is concern .regret is not part of me, i believe get or loose it.I can and i will invest. no winning all the time, at times we loose that part of it.
You cant live a normal life if you are too afraid of taking risk. Investing itself is never a risk free option, in what ever you invest, not just bitcoins. Only with good researching and good sources of informations we can minimalize risks, only with manipulations of some sort you can minimalize your risk to 1-2%, but even manipulators make mistakes and lose money sometimes. When you say life itself is a risk, we need to relax and feel free to risk, only like that we can do something more, something big, that never comes without risks.

1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is bounty profitable? on: October 28, 2018, 08:28:30 AM
How much did you earn on bounty?
In bounty, I earned almost 5000$ since last 7 months. It is easy to earn but you should be choosy on what project you will promote and join. You need to search thoroughly so you can get the worth of your time.
if it happened to the project last year maybe I could believe that. but if it happens to the bounty, it is now very impossible to get up to $5000. because now is a difficult time for bounty hunters
Its not different times, its just about choosing the right bounty, having a good rank and do more than one bounty, not just signature, or just twitter, combine it, do more than one and in the end payout can be very high. Until now I had good and bad bounties, we cant know. But I can say one thing if bounty pays me out and their coins is to cheap I`m not selling, I`m keeping it cause maybe they will try to develop more in the future and their coin or token can worth much more than now.
1136  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: October 27, 2018, 05:49:57 AM
we certainly hear a lot of people whose their lives change 180% because of Bitcoin

based on https://www.livebitcoinnews.com/venezuelans-turn-to-bitcoin-and-online-gaming-to-survive/
when government policies make them miserable, they find ways to survive.

Do you agree with Bitcoin is one of the saviors and are there any of us who have saved their economic lives since focusing on Bitcoin?
and honestly, I'm one of the people whose economic needs have survived because of Bitcoin  Grin
I agree with you that Bitcoin can change lives, but do you think that Bitcoin gaming can help Venezuelans to escape poverty? I’m referring to the poor ones, cause even Bitcoin gaming requires some investing of money before you’re able to start earning money from it. If you don’t invest there is no way you’re earning. So how are they going to get money to invest in the gaming?
Bitcoin is changing lives, you need to delete that can from your comment. Can it or not is for the people who will join today or tomorrow, cause even thou many people find salvation here with bitcoin some people lost their coins and they didn`t succeed in crypto world.
For sure turning to cryptocurrencies is much better than turning to criminal activity, people got to live and when people don`t have for basic needs they will do what ever needs to be done to feed their family and themselves. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies saved many people from hunger, and in future it will be all on cryptocurrencies.

1138  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: October 25, 2018, 03:55:47 PM
Reality is that blockchain make things easier, its more secured and private. Do we need it? Look around, do you think that global economy is doing fine with so many poverty around? With so many scams, banks that rip off peoples last money? We need better system than we have now, blockchain is maybe answer to many economic problems that people face today.
Lets be real about one more thing, there are too many people living what you think can paper handle all that? I guess that in some way we desperately need blockchain, what else can save us from banks?
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: October 25, 2018, 06:38:58 AM
We have to be very careful when investing in any of the coins because we are investing in waste coin which we are not getting any profit through those coins. We need to find the active development coins we have to research these kind coins in the market. Active development will always lead to make a profit on it.
People tend to make a lot of mistakes when they start with investing money in hope for profit in the future. Usually we start to think only about the profit, not about the risks, I made a same mistake, and looks like most of the people are not immune on this mistake. We need to be careful when ever we give our money, and to not wish too much, we need to be humble when we think about the profit in the future, just like that we will not fall in some bull trap.
1140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Positives in Speculation. on: October 24, 2018, 02:04:03 PM

The closest mainstream adoption that's about to come is the Bakkt.

Lot of rumors came out and speculations that this will trigger the bull run. Not yet confident unless we see it face to face on how would the adoption be.
Adoption as already started, 10 years ago very soon.
But the process was and is progressive. I think we still need a couple of years to see mainstream adoption.
10 years ago? isn't that bitcoin was launched year 2009? so there's still no adoption by that time because there is no bitcoin to adopt. Few more years for institutions to adopt bitcoin and accept that bitcoin isn't something that they can ignore.

And that can be the start of it when Bakkt starts.

Yeah, soon it 10 years ago, in January. Adoption since then. But not massive, we still need more time.
That's agreeable mate, it really needs more time to go before we feel the effect of speculations positive results. I knew more people adopted cryptocurrency, but I think some of them were into hibernation due to bad market. These group of investors is not yet active for they know they won't achieve huge profit while market has recovered.
There is an interesting tweet, until now people did all this by themselves, cryptocurrencies are here cause of the ordinary people around the world. Next bull run should start from big companies, and probably big countries adoption. What will trigger this is hard to say, I think some governments will legalize it first and that will open a door to all huge companies. I think we will need to wait for that for a while.
