Small update after my OC try.. I put a fan on one of the boards that was running a bit hot and it seems to be fine.. you can see here the eligius stats of when I changed it.. im running at around 634Gh/s for 12 hrs.. before OC it was around 550..

edit.. crap forgot the image

http://diyasic.com/oc.jpg

which value did you use for OC? did you use the same OC settings for all of your boards?

I think I posted the link to pastie of the config.. just running 211, nothing else special.

so here is what my amps and volts are now at 211.. on a oct jup..

Using this file 211.sh http://pastie.org/private/tbqcfjkyh8pzwzjjiwhvda

These two high? should I take it to 210 or 209?
204  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: January 02, 2014, 11:48:18 PM
I applied

Code:
sed sBD1BC1B </etc/init.d/cgminer.sh >/config/zzz.sh ; /config/zzz.sh restart

And bumped up a bit of hashing rate, My Oct Jup never had any die issues and seems to run great.. I see people mention 211 and 231.. is their a single line sed command for these?

No.
Here is my current zzz.sh file..

http://pastie.org/private/f5ywbvozimw4ritvdamzg

I don't see any overclocking values in this file.
You seem to have installed Bertmod, which replaces the original cgminer.sh file with a new one, that does not have the 0x86 value needed for overclocking.
And then using the sed command you have created a copy of the new cgminer.sh file.

Yep thanks, bingo, the bertmod removed the OC stuff in the cgminer.sh config.. TeknikL helped me out on the #kncminer channel.. I was like WTF where are my settings Smiley

cheers

My kudos to gateway if this graduation of red for the new HF banner (top page) is yours. It's really nice.

http://hashfast.com

haha, Cedivad, thanks for letting me know I have no idea how that happened or who changed it.. It wasn't me, I have been busy with my other company today...
208  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 02, 2014, 06:23:09 PM
That's LukeJr. He gets everything first. What about the rest of us? :/

I believe he has an engineering sample so he can get BFGMiner up and working with it so we have an alternative to using cgminer.
209  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 31, 2013, 09:12:31 PM
Strange, i remembered that they said they connected a single BJ to their mining account.
I'm surprised.

I think, and only guessing that they where testing the hw, and prob had one then 2 etc.. of course you can see this by the graphs going up and down.  When I was their playing with the single BJ a week or two ago, I had it running for about 3 hrs.. but as far as the video or stuff I'm guessing that they threw one on for a while, then 2.. maybe some tweaks, rinse and repeat.. .. ?

question of the day for me, should I post some more HF images I just got? I hate to be in the middle of everything, but I do think people want to see what they are up to from a hardware stand point.. ?
213  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hashfast mining with customer gear? on: December 28, 2013, 06:00:13 AM
If its not them, then its not them.

When the company says they are shipping on the 21st, then removes a video, then goes silent for another 6 days, what do you propose we do?

Not sure buddy, I don't control what they do.. :/
214  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hashfast mining with customer gear? on: December 28, 2013, 05:54:01 AM
Gateway could of course dispel (or confirm) a lot of this speculation by posting an uncensored version of his cgminer photo from the visit.

Though I suppose if the address didn't match, people could just further speculate that they changed addresses.

Thats deff not them.. you guys seriously have nothing else to do, they are not mining with customers hardware.. but well no matter what I say or do it wont matter.. because ill get flamed, some other crap .. etc.. so well continue on guys.. not sure what I say to help..

Crap.. small edit.. while I was talking to a few people on Eligius pool.. a lot of these are in the wild now btw.. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=383486.0

Visited HashFast office yesterday! They where quite busy so I tried to stay out of the way but I did get to see this hashing away! Smiley

 HOLY SHIT ! STEVE ?!

My lord ! It's been years man ! Had no idea you got into Bitcoin !!!

If Gateway says it's legit, then I guess I should seriously consider ordering one. Know him from WAAAAAAAY back.

You ruined my secret identify! Smiley yes its all real... and to everyone here I do not work for HF, I mainly help them with their site and server stuff, Im quite busy doing my own thing with an awesome video game company I co founded.  I will also not be getting into the politics about them being late or what ever they are doing.  I know they are doing their best they can to get boxes out.. but I wont commit on anything else really its not my company.  I will try to post more photos for those that want to see stuff.

Xian01, haha nice man! I'm usually hanging out on irc channel #eligius , mostly idle but also help with their site and stuff.. cheers!

You guys using the Eligius Pool? Eligius.st?
218  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 13, 2013, 04:12:52 AM
Hopefully they dialed in that SMT machine from that video or we might have some power issues.

I think they and everyone saw that happen Smiley ... It reminds me of the demo curse, something always happens when the camera is watching Smiley
