But where is that point? And what does refund in the currency you paid means? Where do you read that it would be the same amount of bitcoins and not a lower amount for the same USD value?
if the company receive USD from me they have to refund the same amount of USD, if the company receive EUR from me they have to refund the same amount of EUR, if the company receive BTC from me they have to refund the same amount of BTC. there is a precedence case with CoinLab and an investor some weeks ago and the court decided the investor has to get the BTC amount back not the USD amount. http://blogs.wsj.com/moneybeat/2013/11/07/judge-orders-coinlab-to-pay-up-in-bitcoin/Bryan Reyhani is the right lawyer, I assume. http://rnlawfirm.com/bryan-reyhani/yup ... that's pretty clear now...

Actually this looks promising. The diff looks like debugging traces (though the log level is info not debug). Now there is some bounds checking on the nonce sequence number. Maybe they have gotten con access to some hardware.

I can't wait for john to deny that he ever promised BTC refunds...

Looking at his stupid face, he probably will sell his mom if he don't have to return BTC to us. But Simon has a lot BTC. He alone can refund most of us

this kinda pisses me off... more so then I already am: I just got a notification(google notification) of a press release.. granted it is probably a copy of one from last week but ........ 1:09 PM (1 hour ago) Reply to me News 1 new result for bitcoin Uniquify, HashFast announce bitcoin mining ASIC EE Times India Uniquify and HashFast Technologies have revealed that the first silicon of HashFast's Golden Nonce bitcoin mining ASIC is working and exceeding ... See all stories on this topic »
HOW the fuk can they tell the world about performance bla bla bla.. and they haven't even shown US!!!! "The level of performance we are seeing from Golden Nonce is groundbreaking," stated Eduardo deCastro, founder and CEO of HashFast. "This milestone is verification of the central decisions in this project, including our own technical and architecture choices, as well as the decision to select Uniquify as our key partner for silicon design and manufacturing. TMSC's industry-leading 28nm HPM process is the best silicon available for the design. We are thrilled to see our design working in silicon and exceeding our performance expectations."

I just got a notification of a press release.. Email? They sent you an email with the press release instead of the tracking number? My lawyer will be happy to hear that.

Yes... its clear the company doesn't want to share bad news... and what kind of information at this point could be good? It took two weeks from the production substrate to picture of a "completed" rig. KnC had turn-around out the door in 1 day. I am still skeptical that the picture is actually hashing.
Whatever progress they can make other than "all the units are build and you will be receiving tracking numbers immanently" are going to be seen as slow progress.
The legalese with HF is off-putting and the warranty is insulting.
Maybe they are planning to miss their deadline and hope people will want refunds in USD (rather than nothing).

http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/58038-corsair-hydro-h60-h55-review.htmlWhile Asetek continued being an integral part of Corsair’s manufacturer base, several of the newer units were OEM’d by CoolIT (such as the H60). This varied and adaptable approach helped further entrench the Hydro series in its growing marketplace. CoolIT makes the H60 for Corsair.

Visited HashFast office yesterday! They where quite busy so I tried to stay out of the way but I did get to see this hashing away! You saw the unit hashing and instead of asking why the hell they don't ship the units or taking any photo or video of the actual performance specs that everybody wants, you took a useless photo of the pcb. Tell me more

The bitcoins they make while "test hashing" should rightfully go to the customers. Of course they never do though..

Yea, it's pretty crappy. If you're a miner already any mining they do is reducing your income, in fact— even if your not: their mining now will increase difficulty at the next retarget when (hopefully!) you'll have received your miners. Sure, a single unit isn't much, but on the principle of it they are taking from their customers by doing this. It's perfectly possible to test on a test harness or testnet, even superior: Testing on the real network will often fail to discover things like devices losing performance when blocks or coinbase transactions are large (a common firmware flaw that _several_ vendors have shipped with).

The incomplete/dodgy/air open unit that you're presented with should have been shipped yesterday months ago, and your only concern is about the few satoshis they're mining now? You've been fucked BFL way, as it was bound to happen, given the dozens of redflags since it all started... The shill twitter account deletion, for one, - they never explained - was stinky enough to stay away from the whole thing. And there is no way back, now. Sad. As soon as they ship the first unit, they will go for another pre-order marvel. And your duty, at that point, will be not to pre-order. Please.
