201  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, play, invest, win on: July 03, 2018, 09:54:46 AM
This:

as far as that screenshot goes, he said that no updates happened after i reported the bug,  there was a update.  all i said there was a update and i proved it.  and i said originally i can not prove that the update was for the bug, just stated facts there was one.

And this a few days back:

then they do site upgrades after i report this bug,  again can i prove they also were doing this to fix that bug no.

The two statements contradict each other obviously. Or fix the punctuation/grammar in this last sentence, because honestly I took it as a badly expressed statement that you CAN prove this update was to fix a bug.

To summary my POV:

1. All bets were created via valid requests to the server.
2. The last bets from amGigolo's series have been created via API calls, not through the browser.
3. I can see no reason for a refund since I can find absolutely no evidence of any bug.

Additional info:
4. The update in the screenshot was for the web client to handle the new competition. There was a server code update, competition related too.
5. No, I am not manipulating server seeds obviously. It's not even possible. That's why we have the Provably Fair paradigm in the first place.

Please keep this ANN thread on-topic. amGigolo: if you want to elaborate on your case more, please start a new topic. It will be easier for others to follow.

Cheers,
Ethan

The competition is over - thanks to all participants! The final prize pool was 12.18437218 ETH, so there was a little bonus followed but last-minute action.

Definitely stay tuned for more competitions!

Cheers and thanks,
Ethan

204  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, "Turn your loss into a win" competition in ETH! on: July 02, 2018, 10:22:40 AM
Hi,

I can see a lot of assumptions and false statements. Let's clear this out:

1. You claimed your "delayed bets" came from the on-site autobetter. Not true, since we have detailed logs of the bets being placed via API. Through your emails to me you did not even mention using Dicebot with YOLOdice. I had to point this out for you, only then you changed your story, which in the beginning not only did not mention Dicebot being used, but you clearly blamed the on-site autobetter for resuming bets on it's own.

2. I analyzed requests made by your script and tried to explain them in our email conversation. I have no idea why Dicebot (or any other script you had) tried to make several requests to YD trying to place bets, but that's what it was.

3. I can only see the requests coming and bets being placed. I cannot be responsible for any requests made either through human error, or software error, especially when it's 3rd party software. I think that's pretty obvious and I don't think any other site would do otherwise.

4. I am not accusing anyone of lying. Simply enough with the data I have I cannot determine what happened on your end. It could be software glitch, network error or human error, or any of the above combined. Maybe Dicebot (or any other script you've been using) does not work well when you try to place bets over web/api at the same time. Maybe you accidentally started it? Obviously your story is missing something.

5. The only explanation that comes to my mind is that your Dicebot got out of control. Since you admitted you've been alternating on-site playing and Dicebot, there was something you did not fully control.

next he says oh you did it on the bot and it is the bots fault.  I am not trying to call anyone a liar  but they gave me NO  proof that it was a bot other than he had server logs and that can be made up anyways let's be honest here.

then they do site upgrades after i report this bug,  again can i prove they also were doing this to fix that bug no.

As I said, I have server logs that clearly say bets were placed via API. The part about the upgrade - simply not true.

The case is closed, there is not much more I can do.

The delays in my email communication was because I've been camping with my family. Although I tried to deal with urgent cases every day, I might have not been super-prompt to answer every email on-time.

Cheers,
Ethan

205  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, play BTC, LTC, ETH - rakeback, bonuses on: June 28, 2018, 07:30:21 AM
Seems to be an issue with most ETH operations currently. Betting, exchanging, tipping, etc.

It's fixed now. ETH is the most difficult coin I've been working with, mostly in terms of node reliability. No coins are lost, and we are implementing workaraounds for most of the quirks, so ETH support at YD is getting better, but still it's tricky.

Anyway, I am sorry about the issue (and all other ETH issues), things should be good now.

Cheers!

Hi,

we had a small issue with ETH deposits over the weekend - a single transaction was throwing an exception in our code and this prevented all subsequent blocks from being parsed correctly.

When you read it I bet all the deposits should be parsed already.

Hi,

I am terribly sorry about the late payment - honestly I had so much on my head this week that I thought I've already sent them. Please accept my apologies. I'll try to send the payments in time for now on.

Yesterday I tuned our Ethereum node because it was acting really strangely, leaving a lot of withdrawals in a pending state. Either the network was clogged, or we needed this optimization anyway, but ETH withdrawals should now be much more reliable and quicker too. I bet there is still a lot of space for improvements, but we made some progress for sure.

Still though, deposits from contracts need to be processed manually, there is no quick way around it. If your deposit has not been credited, just drop us an email at yolodice@zoho.com.

Cheers,
Ethan
210  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, new "Max your LTC profit" competition! on: May 31, 2018, 05:37:04 PM
If people want to invest in the bankroll they can convert their shitcoins to BTC and invest those.

If one excludes "profit" made from LTC and ETH during the competitions, BTC wins with the highest ROI so far. So it's not a bad idea after all.

BTW: only 3 hours till the competition ends, and right now if you win 16.00000001 LTC, you take the first place. It's not that impossible.

Cheers,
Ethan
211  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, new "Max your LTC profit" competition! on: May 30, 2018, 08:15:14 AM
One of the top reasons why we keep LTC and ETH bankrolls private is that we can run this kind of competitions where we spend site profit on prizes, and hence the prize pool can grow. These kind of competitions really do their job in bringing new players, and players love them too - it often happens that prizes + rakebacks compensate potential losses for the top players. These are the opportunities some players are looking for and we gladly welcome them to YD.

But I guess we'll open one of ETH or LTC to investors soon. Which one would you prefer first?

Cheers,
Ethan

Hi, the payments have been sent, and include a +20% bonus due to lower BTC/USD price.

Regarding the manager - Ultra(7356) is having issues with his account on BitcoinTalk - his original acccount got muted by admins a while ago and as far as I know it's been a huge misunderstanding. The new account he got from someone, which was supposedly "high-rank, high-merit, healthy", but turned out to be violating some forum rules, so it got negative trust.

I completely trust Ultra(7356) managing this campaign. IMO he deserves your trust too.

You can also contact him via PM in our chat https://yolodice.com/#chat .

Cheers,
Ethan
213  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, play BTC, LTC, ETH - rakeback, bonuses on: May 24, 2018, 10:12:59 PM
Looks like no chance of enabling LTC investments, at least till 1st June. And also I would like to ask are you guys addicted to these type of competitions, I'm sure this generates a lot of profit for the site but the number of site profit contest has increased

We are still debating about LTC/ETH investments. Actually these competitions do not bring much (or even any) profit to our site, at least not directly. But they attract players for sure and are fun.

Cheers,
Ethan

Claiming the site is rigged cannot be an excuse for not understanding how it works. The site is NOT a copy of any other dice site and results are fair. Period.

Anyone who claims otherwise please present a proof. People continuously claiming the site is a scam in our chat get a ban, unless they can present a proof, that's pretty reasonable.

Cheers,
Ethan

Payments for the last week have been sent. There is a 20% bonus because of lower BTC/USD rate too.
