I dont have much idea about the current dispute, but due to this petty issue you have only enabled messaging in discord to people with verified phone numbers. I am mad about this. Would you like my home address, DNA or stool samples to be submitted to a central authority as well? What are you doing? In order to be a part of the community I have to verify my phone? Yea f that s

The aro team can not see your phone number, its an discord option.
People can always discuss on bitcointalk, do you need a phonenumber here? do you need a phonenumber on all other forums where u can talk about aro?

For what i know the aro team like to see positive people, helping eachother and bring the coin to a next level. However, the last time (totally on bitcointalk.org) people are just pure and 100% doomed/negative, they have 1 way how they want to live and thats killing (spreading fud) about everything around them what is positive. And again, i am also not always positive, i also have sometimes my suggestions and advise. Good thing is, they lissin to you when u have a problem (however, the coin / mining etc is working perfectly, so no doubt about this part). An pro-active and addicted team like the ARO team i never saw before... So yeah it's strange when people start fudding and being just negative. It's just sad that when a team is doing just great jobs and being so nice and helpfull to EVERYbody, there are still some living creatures what like to kill them by spreading negative bullshit.

I'm happy there is finally a coin with a active team what does lissin to there community and do everything to make it all real.

Also people act like the aro team is banning everybody.. Hell no they are not doing that... Again this is also just FUD from some people. If a nerd try to scam people in discord, ofc he get banned. It would be a very bad thing if the ARO TEAM does NOT ban this scammer. Many people in the cryptoworld get scammed because nobody does anything about this scammers. ARO take active steps against those scammers. What else do you want from a team on this part?

Also there is a big difference between the next things:
Spreading fud/bullshit
Asking for help
Having suggestions

Many little kids on bitcointalk just copy/paste there fud in all topics, why? I dont know, because they have no life? I really dont understand those kids. If u (not specially you, just the people what spread fud) would know what the ARO team is doing, you can only be positive. They are making major steps in the cryptoworld with a small but very smart and pro-active team. Instead of try to killing those people you (again, with you i dont mean YOU but just the people what are doing this) can also show respect to the team what is making this all reall WITHOUT an pre-mine/ico and all scam tactics what many other coins do anno 2018!

Like now with this phonenumber, you can ask just 1 little thing: hey aro team, why did you add this option on discord? Possible to disable this because i dont have a phonenumber?
Do you see the difference between this question and the way u are talking? The aro team are 100% pure living people what can think and discuss with everybody.

* i also just suggest the team to be more active on bitcointalk, this because it seems like people dont understand anything about a cryptocoin like aro. So i hope they can make sometimes time for being active here. This because many kids dont know how to ask questions but they do know how to spread fud and bullshit, this is helping nobody.
But again, just make an question if you do have a question. The aro team like to help everybody, so they also answer the questions. We are growed up people, so PLEASE also act like that. If people acting like a pissed off 8 yr old boy/girl what lost there lollypop in the dirt, nobody takes you serious (neither behind your computer, neither in real life).

About the exchanges;
Yeah i would like to see Arionum on more exchanges, and with more exchanges i mean exchanges like Cryptopia, HitBTC and more other proved exchanges. I think they went to Mercatox because they must pay the listing using the donations they get. Mercatox has a low listing fee.
Like Cryptopia they ask 3 BTC to get listed, that's enough money for a coin what has 0 premine and 0 ico/crowdfund/token sale. When we look to HitBTC i tought it's around the 10BTC what they ask for your coin to be listed.
Also more exchanges at the same time would be positive for Arionum, if ARO is active on more different exchanges an maintance mode on 1 exchange is not a problem. Like now we are only active on Mercatox, mercatox is still busy now with testing deposits/withdraws (this because of the fork ~4 weeks ago). Yeah this takes long, and yeah maybe a other exchange would do this faster. But remember; the aro dev/team pays the listing on exchanges by using the donations. For what i know they got almost enough donations to get to the next exchange, an exchange like Cryptopia (i dont know if cryptopia will be the next exchange, but it will be a proven ''big'' exchange so all the lies will fly away).

If people would just ask there questions to the dev or overlode(or just simply in this topic), you would get a answer -> more positive mindset about Arionum.

For now my advise is to sit back and wait for the ride! We will do this together, not any doubt about that!

So you are not using the bogdan or the cryptogone gpu miner.. I give the links and u say it's all not working.. In fact u didnt click on any link and u didnt use any of the info what i give. There are 2 great working GPU miners, everybody is using it and nobody have problems.  Smiley
Do you own github and bitbucket? Do you have click tracker on those links?
How more clueless can you be? Learn the actual names of the miners, don't embarrass yourself.

My excuses, because u spread so many fud i didnt take my time to read your message, like i read ariocpminer while u typed ariominer.

The bogdan miner is working perfect on single gpu systems, atm i am testing a crossfire system what is working perfectly. People with big rigs, all without any problems Smiley

The regkey can be used to prefend your driver will crash (in fact, some people with BF3/4(pc game) had also this issues and they came with the regkey solution). I know that low/slow memory gpu's can crash because the intensity is to high for the extreme low budget cards.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU+GPU+Masternode | PHP Based |Decentralized Revolution on: September 06, 2018, 08:27:40 AM
1080 and 970 (GPUs are there in one of my previous posts)...
ariominer 0.1.2 and arionum-gpu-miner 1.5.0, first thing I did was an update.
If those 4 new commits after the release of ariominer have no improvements, then there are no newer versions.
TDR delay is not an issue (well, driver crashes half of the time when I exit miner, but it's because miner stresses GPU like crazy so default TDR value is not enough Grin).

So you are not using the bogdan or the cryptogone gpu miner.. I give the links and u say it's all not working.. In fact u didnt click on any link and u didnt use any of the info what i give. There are 2 great working GPU miners, everybody is using it and nobody have problems.  Smiley

ariominer with any intensity makes PC unusable.
arionum-gpu-miner doesn't start mining and just quits after GPU init (or after new block if it manages to actually start)...

Again with the usual FUD you boy should be banned from this forum due to your toxic behaviour

Both miners work fine guaranteed and i am using them without problems

Seems like he is talking about the first release from a few weeks ago. Yes the first release had issues when switching from cpu to gpu blocks (or gpu to cpu), but this was fixed in a few hours. All releases on github dont have any of the problems he is talking about.

His problem is that he dont ask for help, he just scream that something dont work (while everybody is using the miners without any problems).

@Mikanoshi:
When using the bogdan miner u can find a registrykey inside the mining folder, you should install this one and reboot your pc after (this prevends to let the gpu driver crash)

What GPU are you using? Can be if its an old card with 1GB or less that u can have problems..

Ps for the people what are searching for an combined GPU/CPU block miner (this is using ur GPU + your CPU, u can also put 1 of them off)

Some good working pools:
http://aropool.com (for the big miners)
http://aro.cool (for the small/home miners)
** http://mine.arionumpool.com (site: arionumpool.com for everybody and 0% fee)

More pools on the OP and discord.

Other mining program for your GPU:
https://bitbucket.org/cryptogone/arionum-gpu-miner/downloads/
With this one i get lower speed during CPU blocks.

My advise is: **

The crossplatform GUI wallet has just been released. It works on Mac , Linux and Windows. It's beta software so please test it out by sending a coin to yourself.

The crossplatform wallet has been entirely developed by @Cuby and can be downloaded from https://www.arionum.com/#downloads .

No help guide was found.

Masternodes can only be created on Linux based operating systems

Guys, can u make the openingspost new with all the new features what came out already?

U guys are doing very good and great jobs in the cryptoworld, but u can not read anything about it in the OP. We (people on discord) knows ''everything'' but ppl what only watch at bitcointalk dont know about all the good things u and all the other dev's are doing Smiley

Thanks Smiley
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU+GPU+Masternode | PHP Based |Decentralized Revolution on: August 20, 2018, 01:53:40 PM
I wanted to spread some positive news about ARO as the last few pages have been very negative.
I am a small CPU miner and ARO has been very profitable for me in the last months.
Today with the hard fork I find ARO is also the most profitable coin for my Nvidia GTX cards (1060 / 1080). Much more profitable than any other coin I have mined since January!

And last but not least the masternode is the cheapest masternode I know. At current rates you can get a masternode for less than $3000. The community on discord is fantastic in its support.
So what's not to like in ARO: a small, friendly community, excellent profits TODAY and a huge upside potential.

Yep, nice to see that everybody is helping eachother, dev's (miner, pool, wallets, web, mobile) are all working together with the community. It's very friendly Smiley

But yes, u must be on discord to find it out, all the chats goes by discord.

Just did some math and with the current number of masternodes we get 4 months ROI
This is just amazing!

Yeah the dev told this already Cheesy

This is an excellent project, and I like how it develops. I think that maybe you need to try switching to **, but not loud and terrible to use.
Please edit ur post haha, we are happy we are not active anymore on that site.

Mercatox wallet is temporarily not active. Who knows how long ago this happens? I hope he will be ready soon.

Was because of the fork, they (Mercatox) need to update some stuff, fork is completed succesfully so.. Should be finished soon at mercatox Smiley
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU+GPU+Masternode | PHP Based |Decentralized Revolution on: August 16, 2018, 07:11:53 AM
Wow, great work!

Hope everything will be good!! Grin

Ofc, good thing about PHP/C++ is that many dev's are interested in Arionum, many dev's understand the  code language Cheesy

You dont need to hope, because everything will just be good Cheesy
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU+GPU+Masternode | PHP Based |Decentralized Revolution on: August 16, 2018, 06:44:44 AM
finally one of the developers contacted me and solved the problem with my wallet by sending me the 3800 ARO that I had blocked due to a problem with my private key. These actions demonstrate the seriousness of the workers in this project.

Yes the Arionum team is one of the few teams with big actions and less words. Sometimes on bitcointalk u cant see it because they only place here some wallet releases. But on discord u can find out how much they are doing at the moment.

This can also be because they want to have a great product before they start the marketing. Many other coin teams got a great marketing but 0 actions. I don't take this coins serious after the years i am active in this world.. I prefer a coin like Arionum what are doing great stuff.

At this moment i am testing the Windows GPU miner what gives great results, there is still one bug (just reported, i guess also this one will be fixed today by a Arionum community dev..), miner close in like 1 minute after getting the error: Connection error to aro.cool (or whatever the pool i am using).
When this bug is fixed i guess the miner will also released on bitcointalk. Only thing what is needed after are optimisations.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU+GPU+Masternode | PHP Based |Decentralized Revolution on: August 15, 2018, 07:08:49 AM
Depends on the diff, many times a site told me i would get like 10k coins in 24 hours, at the end it was 15k or 1k or 4k.. Depends if the diff is getting higher or lower.
You are using calculator wrong. It shows rewards for the past 24 hours.
Difficulty defines amount of hashes required to mine a block in target time, depending on your real number of submitted hashes can be lower or higher than the expected value.
But luck is always close to 100% on larger intervals, so it's possible to accurately calculate rewards based on historical data.

Yeah maybe they can do it when all the miner tools are ready and released. Those new mining tools gives u big results, so at this moment a calculator will be 100% incorrect.

Also about the results in the past, yeah its like u say the past. Nobody want to know what they could mine yesterday, they want to know how many they mine right now. If the diff was low yesterday the calculate will be totally wrong when the diff is 10x higher today, also if the diff over 2 days is 30x higher.
Those calculators are fun for beginners but most of the time they are simply not correct. Maybe it work on a coin like Ethereum what already have a sort of a stable difficulty, but new coins nah, they are most of the time incorrect.

So personally i dont think this mining calculator must be top priority, i agree (and i guess the devs will do) its a funny thing to have for newcomming people in the mining world.

The hard fork has been successfully implemented. It has been a bumpy ride but it's now finished and everything is working as expected. Our initial plan to create a 3rd block for the masternodes has failed, as we did not anticipate that many of the nodes would be down. We did an emergency HF at block 80460 in which we have switched to 2 block types, 1 gpu and 1 cpu and giving the masternodes 33% of the reward of each block. In the end it's the same reward structure and the masternodes/gpu/cpu are getting the same rewards as we initially announced, just a different implementation. We regret the inconveniences caused in the last days and we would like to thank the Arionum community for being so supportive about it. We'd also like to thank the pioneers who have taken the risk and made the first Arionum Masternodes. There are currently 73 masternodes active!

+ you released a new Windows wallet with fixes like the Alias what is working now!

There is already a stats page made by a community member where u can check the profits later. My experience in the last 8 years are that i can only calculate my profit when i do mining. Not any calculator is correct (all about ur speed in compare with ur powercosts and the every seconds changing difficulty from all coins, also in this calculate u must have a future price (nobody knows a future price) and the price from now), so i just check my profits during mining..
What page? Rewards calculation is purely mathematical and has nothing to do with the price or future.

Ah u mean: press ur h/s and see how many u get a day?
Depends on the diff, many times a site told me i would get like 10k coins in 24 hours, at the end it was 15k or 1k or 4k.. Depends if the diff is getting higher or lower.
But for me the ''old'' calculator works, dont know how it's now

Hello fellow Arionum miners !

-- Ariocppminer v0.9.8 now available (CPU miner) --

sources / readme:

v0.9.8 binaries:
https://bitbucket.org/cryptogone/ariocppminer/downloads/

Please do not use v0.9.7 anymore and upgrade to v0.9.8 !!

Happy mining !

Is still CPU mining worth the pain sir? I used to mine this coin in the beginning, before the GPU miners were developed and maybe I will turn my CPU laptop on again to mine this. I have an i7 7700HQ, also I want to ask you how much ARO I can mine/day with this CPU, if of course is not an obsolete CPU. Thank you!

Yes, please read my message above. I explaine in easy/few words how it works.
You don't need a big GPU farm to mine, even with an laptop CPU u can mine and get ur coins. Normally you have like 1 blockchain where u mine, so when u have an laptop CPU you can do nothing against GPU farms (or asics....). With Arionum there are 3 different blocks to mine, Masternode, CPU and GPU blocks. We dont mine this at the same time, first (example) a Masternode block is running, when found it switch to CPU and when the CPU block is found it switch to GPU block mining.
So everybody can take part in mining Arionum.

So this coin needs all kind of miners in compare to many other coins. We need CPU and GPU and Masternode miners, however with ur CPU u also take part on the GPU mining system automatic

OK man, thanks for the clarifications and the detailed reply. I will give it a try with my CPU to see what it brings to me. I also have some GPUs but some low end ones a 1060 and a 970. Maybe I will point them too to mine some more ARO as I believe in the project. Cheers!

At this moment i am using the (CPU) ariocppminer https://bitbucket.org/cryptogone/ariocppminer/downloads/ it works smooth and stable, have fun!

Today / tomorrow there will be a GPU miner (what u can also use for CPU, should be a 10% performance in compare with the ariocppminer).

The 1060 is very good for mining Arionum Wink
If u have ubuntu u can use it already, if ur on windows u need to wait (today/tomorrow).

218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU+GPU+Masternode | PHP Based |Decentralized Revolution on: August 14, 2018, 06:52:46 PM
I advise to go on discord
They just ban you there if you ask the wrong thing.

First i tought; why not put all the messages in bitcointalk, however i understand now why they use discord.. To many progress to drop everything in this topic.
Not a single announcement in this topic. Fork on 80460? MNs disabled? You can figure that out by looking at git commits, not from ann.

We need CPU and GPU and Masternode miners
There are no MN blocks. Aren't you on Discord? Smiley

This mining system; 3 different ways to mine, is very nice because everybody can start mining and get there coins. You dont have to fight against big GPU rigs because there is also a CPU block running.
Devs couldn't figure out how to calculate rewards from difficulty before when it was just 1 algo, now 2 types of blocks, calculating profit will be a fucking nightmare Cheesy Mine blindly.

I can say and i can ask whatever i want on the ARO discord, nobody ban me. Ofc the discord is not alive for insults or whatever, so if u keep it nice u can ask whatever u want (however, that's how i face it.. i got problems with nobody there, but i also have strong and negative questions)

About the MN, i wanted to keep it clear/easy, ofc i am on discord (i am JoenPool..)

Hey guys,

since 08/12 I didn't get any payout from the pool. It says the balance is pending. Anyone knows what's going on?

Heres my account: http://aropool.com/acc/4RqVqMsThXN7KBa8UzShtmDfhnn9im5s14dh6je2C68foarH5kxrRgw6W5jy72KVc2By8sRfTLsiKyLsMXUrH4p3

Thanks!

It's paused (pools etc get updated), payouts should start soon.
