Right - So.
New to this coin. What happened with the other exchange? It seems OK on Mercatox for now.
It dipped hard - I'm guessing this is from an issue on Octawhatever. Do you think it'll recover?
I like that it's a cpu coin - it's being advertised as gpu mine-able - is this tested? I'd rather it be cpu only, personally.
At least it's worth more than LEMONCOIN, even on the down-trend.

Ok, as far as we know OctaEx stopped processing any withdrawals at the end of May. We have heard nothing from them and can only presume that it's an exit scam.

As for GPU mining, there is a Linux and Windows miner but they only perform as well as a decent CPU, it just allows more of the average Joe to mine ARO.

ARO will recover, there are lots of exciting things to look forward to with ARO

Thanks for the details. Hopefully it'll work out - I like the idea of ARO as one of the few decent CPU coins.
If I had any merit to send I'd send it. Thank you!

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Just wanted to let everyone know, ArionumPool.com is stable, updated for the new hard fork and still with 0% fees. Grin

You can start mining on our pool by pointing your miner to:

Code:
http://mine.arionumpool.com

Of course, if you have any questions, HashPi#1983 on Discord.

if you already have 100k you should be fine with the guides and help provided. Even if you have 0 experience. Shared masternode might be hard since there is nothing trustless right now

The crossplatform GUI wallet has just been released. It works on Mac , Linux and Windows. It's beta software so please test it out by sending a coin to yourself.

The crossplatform wallet has been entirely developed by @Cuby and can be downloaded from https://www.arionum.com/#downloads .

Our solo pool is online. If you'd like to try your luck at finding an entire block reward, point your miners to

Code:
http://aro.hashpi.com

Note: there is a 1% fee on this pool. ArionumPool.com will remain at a 0% pool fee.

Interesting concept on this project. It collecting and providing any high quality original data that can be used for any company who are needing them to create and AI perhaps.
The idea also giving some kind of protection and the quality of the data.

Ps for the people what are searching for an combined GPU/CPU block miner (this is using ur GPU + your CPU, u can also put 1 of them off)

Some good working pools:
http://aropool.com (for the big miners)
http://aro.cool (for the small/home miners)
** http://mine.arionumpool.com (site: arionumpool.com for everybody and 0% fee)

More pools on the OP and discord.

Other mining program for your GPU:
https://bitbucket.org/cryptogone/arionum-gpu-miner/downloads/
With this one i get lower speed during CPU blocks.

My advise is: **

ariominer with any intensity makes PC unusable.
arionum-gpu-miner doesn't start mining and just quits after GPU init (or after new block if it manages to actually start)...
