Gabriel Jesus isn't like a natural scorer such as Haaland. He is more like a helper for the main forward of the team. There is another forward player who is Nketiah but he is also not a quality scorer. None of these players is reliable for making a good amount of contribution with goals.    This is why Arsenal would really make use of a more capable scorer in this position.

Viktor Gyökeres is a target for Arsenal now. He is really just the kind of a scorer they would make use of. 

However there is an issue. He has a release clause like 100 million € and a contract running till 2028. I don't think Sporting would let him go without his release clause being bought out.

I agree. Juventus are in a really big debt right now. I have seen some reports like their debt has reached nearly half a billion euros if it's true.    This is making things impossible for Juventus to give their manager a huge transfer budget to renovate the squad. They didn't spend so much money in the last summer transfer window.

They can't sell players for big prices lately either. The same transfer window can be given as an example for that.

While they are stuck in this cycle it is really difficult to believe in Juventus to return to their successful times.

Ukraine have been experiencing really tough days for a long while due to the war you know.    But it is still nice to see the national team being able to make it to the elimination round here. I think they are a serious favourite against Bosnia & Herzegovina tomorrow night. The odds for Ukraine win are 1.90 now which could be given a chance though.

The question is about if they can they do this job in regular time. What do you think?

I believe Ukraine have an important chance to qualify for Euro 2024 also as they are strong enough to defeat Israel or Iceland in next round.

First of all I think the probable semi final draws will be like this:

- Fenerbahçe - Aston Villa
- Fiorentina - Club Brugge

- If we see the same determination from Fenerbahçe in this round I think Olympiacos' end will also be similar to Royale Union SG. The odds shared for the first leg is really close but I still find it worth to give Fenerbahçe win a try @2.55. 

- There is a serious power gap between Plzen and Fiorentina. I expect Fiorentina to win the first leg away already and @2.02 odds are really attracting.

- Aston Villa - Lille is probably the most interesting one as I mentioned before. I expect Lille to be more resistant than Ajax but I think they would also be eliminated at the end of the day. @1.65 for Aston Villa win home in the first leg could be a pretty good option.

- Club Brugge - PAOK... In fact this is also interesting in a way. PAOK's effort in the second leg against D. Zagreb was amazing! - 5 goals. But my favourite for the first leg will be Club Brugge anyway as I think they would make use of home advantage @1.99.

Things are getting more complicated at Red Bull when there are new details about the contracts risen to the surface. It looks like there is a condition about Helmut Marko - Verstappen similar to Christian Horner - Adrian Newey. I mean if one of Marko and Verstappen leaves Red Bull the other one is also doing so because of having such term on their contracts.  

This means Red Bull could be affected substantially in case departures start to be seen among these people. This could cause Red Bull to lose their dominant look even next season.

We are in a new race week, Australia GP! I have missed F1 after a break of one week. The last winner here was Verstappen and I don't expect this to change this year either. Maybe we might see another VER - PER - LEC podium.  

The full Europa League draw is like this by the way. I wanted to share it because of not seeing it on the previous posts.

The most interesting one is Milan - Roma truthfully. Because it is more like a clash between close teams in strength. If Roma were still being managed by Mourinho now then I would have seen Milan more favourite.

However since De Rossi took the job the team have seemed much more effective in attacking especially. The score contribution has increased quite more. Although bookies are favouring Milan I think Roma deserve to be given a chance on betting. What do you think? 

This is surprising to me truthfully. Because normally you would expect Liverpool or Manchester City to be the highest scoring teams. Liverpool have Salah who has been taking a big responsibility about this and it is Haaland for Manchester City. Arsenal don't even have a star name in their centre-forward position. Gabriel Jesus is also not like in the past after injuries he suffered. 

Arsenal are still able to score a lot of goals thanks to the great teamwork and distribution of the goals among many players. 

I can't even imagine what can happen if they make a much better striker transfer than their current options.

Arsenal aren't the same as their 2017 version anymore. They are much more competitive thanks to Arteta's management style. You should be remembering their last draw against Bayern Munich. How it started and how it ended... It wasn't different than seeing a nightmare truthfully. However I'm not expecting a similar result this year.

The reason is not only the improvement of Arsenal team. It is because of Bayern Munich's being likely to be quite unreliable with their game this season.

If you ask which one of these teams would qualify for the semi finals I would pick Bayern Munich though. It is especially due to what I saw in the Arsenal - Porto draw. 

But what a comeback it was right?    You concede 2 goals in the last 10 minutes of regular time and get behind by 2-1. But you never give up and score in minutes like 90+7 and 90+10 to make a comeback for the win!

Coventry are a team that are fighting for a playoff quota in the Championship. Seeing such team in the semi finals felt really nice for me also.    Since we started to see very long stoppage times more common such as in this example we have witnessed really incredible things happening in this time interval.    Wolves players must be really shocked and devastated as this was their only place to go for a bigger success.

Bence Fenerbahçe için Olympiacos alınabilecek en güzel kuralardan birisiydi. İlk maçın yurtdışı oranlarını birbirine çok yakın gördüm ve hatta Olympiacos ufak bir farkla favori bile görünüyor. Sainz is one of the rumoured drivers to take Hamilton's seat at Merecedes lately yeah. However Sainz's condition is really complicated also. You know Audi are planning to enter Formula 1 by 2026 season. Probably Sainz will be one of their drivers as it has been said for a long while. In this case will Sainz drive for Mercedes for only a year? 

If Mercedes don't plan to make a long-term signing then there is no problem. They would plan to make Russell their main driver I guess.

I thought about Mick Schumacher beside Russell also but if I were in their place I would prioritize drivers like Sainz who could potentially bring more points. 

Inter Şampiyonlar Ligi'nden boynu bükük bir şekilde ayrılarak lige geri dönüyor. Aslında Serie A'da şampiyonluk yolunda iyice rahatlamışken Atletico Madrid'i eleyerek Şampiyonlar Ligi'nde yoluna devam eder diye düşünmüştüm ama bu olmadı. Inter yine de ligde sıkıntısız bir şekilde şampiyonluğunu ilan eder. Zaten fark artık 16 puan oldu.



Şu anki tek rekabet Avrupa turnuvalarına katılabilmek için diğer takımlar arasında geçiyor. Milan ve Juventus her türlü Şampiyonlar Ligi'ne katılırlar ama 4. takım olarak kim gider o hiç belli olmaz. Bologna şu an avantajlı görünse de Roma da çıkışta ve Atalanta da hemen yakın takipte. Ben Roma'nın katılmasını isterim.

The quarter final round in the FA Cup is played in only one leg so the teams will need to be extra careful. I wonder how many of these matches will end up with extra time or even with penalty shootouts. Maybe Chelsea - Leicester?    In the last round Chelsea eliminated Leeds by a last minute goal. Who knows maybe they might have more difficulties in this one.

Anyways the most interesting match is Manchester United - Liverpool to me. Both teams have been dealing with injuries but the injury list is scarier for Liverpool.  

However I'm still thinking of placing a bet on Liverpool to win. I wish Klopp rested Salah in the Sparta Prague match though but one way or another Liverpool can still be victorious.

Totally agreed. Ajax were already a mess since the beginning of the season. They were lucky to not lose in the first leg but they couldn't escape the inevitable in the second leg...    So this can't be called like one of potential final matches in this tournament. Ajax just needed to get really lucky with the draw to be able to have a chance to reach the final round.

I agree about Aston Villa - Lille also. The highest quality draw among all is this one. Aston Villa should be able to advance to semi finals though but Lille can resist more than Ajax I think.
