201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]⭐[ICO] Pixby - Where Creativity Is Rewarded 💰 [Private Pre-Sale] on: September 05, 2019, 05:26:11 PM
There's been so many freelancer/gig economy platform already - Canya, hirematch, ethlancer, blocklancer, hiway, canlead, gigtrick. Most are barely functional, majority have turned out to be vaporware. So, what makes yours any different?

------------------------------------------------------
checked the team list. 6 members where 2 are community managers, 2 are marketing, 1 is the CEO and the other is John Q. Nice movie
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Aigar Network Crypto Community [Official] on: September 05, 2019, 12:48:39 PM
So what will happen to our BTW coin? Any news when the swap will take place?

the OP says there is a swap of 60BTW to 1 ALGAR and wait for further announcement. but what would be the main difference from the old bitwhite project aside from fresh code? is there a list of possible apps in the market?

Same questions on my mind.
Are we still dealing with a BTC fork or this has taken on a whole new life of its own? A simple comparison table between Aigar and Bitwhite would go a long way in shedding more light on the issue. Should we also be expecting an updated WP?
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🆕[DSHA] DigitalShadow QUARK CPU-ONLY⛏️ POW/POS/MN *Low Supply*🆕🆕🆕🆕 on: September 05, 2019, 12:45:38 PM
Not worth mining at all. No details about coin use or roadmap at all.

Only 75,000 coins from PoW. 15,000 coins required for a MN, so only enough PoW coins for 5 MN's and given that PoW rewards are going to different wallets there is no way to obtain a MN without buying one from the pre-mine or when listed on an exchange.

Looks 99.99% to be a sell and dump coin to me.

Avoid.
 Angry Angry Angry

Please stop trolling ! , More info and Roadmap update soon.

Trolling would be if the post contains malicious statement for self-gratification. Can't see any malice here. All they did was raise credible concerns based on provided by you and adviced the community based on materials provided or not provided by you. Your response would have been to provide more insight in order to disprove his claims/concerns or at least give an ETA for roadmap
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 [ANN] [INFT] Infinito - Creating the best blockchain experience 🔥 on: September 04, 2019, 05:23:06 PM
I have downloaded Infinito wallet, it looks like this wallet will compete with trust wallet. UI is very interesting, and my friend suggested this infinito wallet to receive a token-based EOS. 15% for community and bounty? Can't wait this campaign.

Doubt it can compete with Trust. Better off as an alternative though. Trust launches faster, supports all ERC20 tokens and more coins. Infinito comes off a tadbit chunky. However, love infinito for BTC BIP2 address support compared to Trust's BIP3 only.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: THANOS TOKEN IS HERE - WITH 50% BURN EFFECT! on: September 04, 2019, 11:56:29 AM
Another day, another shitcoin...
Oh snap! It's the same shitcoin with the same shitty announcement from here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5180868.msg52333105#msg52333105
Wish something could be done about these sorts
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EMIREX GROUP on: September 02, 2019, 09:51:41 PM
Website barely contains any info. Can't tell what the token's about off the site, nor is there any literature - WP, LP, Business paper, or pitch deck - to ease one into what this is all about. Also, no team or advisors info

Hello, thank you for your comment. This is an early sneak-peak of our token landing page. All of the information including the WP, Team and the Business details will be made available after the 9th of September. Check us out at emirex.com

Would have been a look more helpful if you'd disclaimed that beforehand. Also, even if it's a sneak peek, what are we sneak peaking at? Snazzy graphics? There's not even a basic summary/blurb to at least whet one's appetite.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Thanos Snap - Highly deflative erc20-token with purpose! on: September 02, 2019, 09:08:48 PM
Thanos Snap Project, I believe in the project, I expect updates soon, and good news ..... The best deflationary token project ....  THANOS SNAP is the salvation the human race have been waiting for. With a 50% burn effect making the power of SNAP the greatest power ever observed in the known universe.  99B3f

The best?
Salvation of human race?

... what are you on? A coin with 85% to be distributed via ICO when the first crypto to pioneer deflationary mechanisms in the industry was freely given? Nothing but another cash grab here and the only SNAP happening here is how quickly your funds will vanish into thin air
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Money on Chain - Bitcoin-Collateralized Stablecoin on: September 01, 2019, 11:01:28 AM
BTC collateralized and calling it a stablecoin? The logical inference would be BTC = Stablecoin.
Does not compute
BTC is a very volatile asset. How is an asset collateralized on it anyway remotely stable, unless you're using another asset to hedge against the volatility or you've got a perfectly, functional crystal ball
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NIX - Next gen privacy currency & multi-layered interoperability platform on: September 01, 2019, 09:25:33 AM
NIX Platform: Privacy Swap Proof of Concept

After months of hard work, the NIX and Flare Wallet teams have successfully accomplished the first automated privacy swap ever made! - and it happened between NIX and KMD pairs.

Going on a limb to assume that mobile wallets will also support these atomic swaps too. My question is will the mobile wallet also support cold staking and will the wallet morph into a multi-coin wallet down the road?
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cocos-BCX Private Event at NASDAQ Marketsite during Consensus Week on: August 30, 2019, 05:18:03 PM
Lost me.
Actually had some hope in this project and was holding a fair amount before it started bleeding.
Was prepared to double down and average losses, however, the fact that the thread is being botted is extremely worrisome. Visibility is one thing, faking activity is another. Haven't seen one making a success of it - with most exit scamming in the end.
I doubt COCOs will exit scam, however, the strategy being employed here may portend other unpleasantries down the line. Time to jump ship for now
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Gollian - A new smart contract platform on: August 30, 2019, 05:12:51 PM
I finally have a raw MVP ready, it s time to gather the community around this and plan a fair launch.

Alright. Where to start? Been following your posts with mild interest, but there wasn't much to say since there wasn't anything to show for it until now. When can we see the raw MVP? How do you want to go about gathering the community?

213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] OmniStore - the online multicurrency service on: August 28, 2019, 09:42:20 AM
Promises with half-baked products that shortly spirals into abandonware/exit is very much the motto of this year, so even if you have it doesn't mean you can and it will be sustained.

This can be said about any project, even, to speak like you, "fully-backed" wirh some product. Does it mean that every single project is something empty? At least, we have something working and useable.

You know you just contradicted yourself. But let's talk market. Granted, nobody knows tomorrow - I think - but as a consumer, I'll be more confident in a "fully-backed product" rather than "something working and useable". Not a diss on your product, but accept it. Nobody wants to buy a car they have to first push before it starts. I do understand your enthusiasm for your own creation, but do know that the bear market save a lot of projects evaporated (and still evaporating) and quite the number were offering somewhat similar services

And still, that curveball does little to justify the game of semantics you have going on

That's not a curveball. It would be a curveball if we'd displayed some non-working mvp, but as you can see we have something more.

If you want to troll us - please, go on. But if you are not trolling, you can assist us with something good you can do - coding, texts, interfaces, or whatever you're good in.
[/quote]

It's a fine line between criticism and trolling. However, the latter is not the case here. Just wanted justification for your "not coinsale" label when an IEO is a coinsale? And again, rather than get answers, I'm being roped in to "assist" the project with "skilled labor".
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lumeneo - decentralized gaming platform on an anonymous blockchain on: August 28, 2019, 09:31:55 AM
What is your closest goal? Who are your potential investors? What has been done so far in this direction? We are an investing firm and LOOKING for good new ideas.

This coin is dead mate! Why are you asking those questions? Did you ever read few posts back?

Increasing their post counts most likely. Will also start staying away from these decentralized gaming thingies with 10ft poles. Haven't seen any startup remotely make a success of it all. Just money down the drain
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] OmniStore - the online multicurrency service on: August 27, 2019, 10:23:04 PM
Precisely what I was going to point out. There's virtually no difference between an IEO and an ICO - it's still a sale, either way, you slice it. These games of semantics never goes down well anymore. For a fleeting second, thought I'd stumbled in on something good...

You know, that's a bit offensive... I would understand you, if we had only promices without any product, but we DO have it. So, please, take a little look at our launched services before saying that we're empty)

Promises without product was 2016/2017. Promises with half-baked products that shortly spirals into abandonware/exit is very much the motto of this year, so even if you have it doesn't mean you can and it will be sustained.
And still, that curveball does little to justify the game of semantics you have going on
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BANKAERO - Secure and convenient multi-currency platform on: August 27, 2019, 10:18:50 PM
1. No telegram group, only channel which was created in May and still only has 4 members.
2. Wondering what this is doing in the coin section since it's obviously a token and no indication of developing its own native blockchain, but no biggie.
3. No team info or any information that hints at the competence of the team to deliver on the website - found it in the WP, but then social media links or linkedin to verify isn't there. Looks like We've gotta work to get infor here.
4. Banking license in 2021...? So, why present as a bank right now?

Also there are no guarantees of the banking license. Whitepaper doesn't convince me at all and there are not even legal disclaimers in anywhere.
Too many things are wrong already and this is just an announcement. I don't even want to think what happens when they start to build a bank.

And naturally they don't have physical office, only rented virtual one that redirects phone calls etc. Just google their address, you can rent an "office" from there.

Completely missed out on investigating the "physicality" of their physical structure. No need pursuing this any further.  It's just another tokenized castle in the sky development. Looks like none of these bank products are bankable - bankera, bankex, bankorus...

218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unity cryptocurrency available to investment on: August 26, 2019, 09:22:45 PM

Look at bitcoin - it can be Nakamoto or Satoshi; important is that it costs less than the energy consumed for 0.00001 bitcoin.
Can be a good investment in the future - at this point the stock market seems quite risky.

The decision is always hard

Unlike Satoshi, who had to invent a novel solution to the vexing and very complex Byzantine general problem, yours is just a "can be a good investment in the future" that basically exists as yet another token on a blockchain whose protocol you have zero say/control/development over. Take a look at yourself first before pointing Nakamoto?

OmniStore is non-ICO project, The development of the core OmniStore features was funded by developers' own investments
Yes, of course. That is the meaning of non-ICO project, a project that is funded by its core team or the developer themself. But then why did you run an IEO? no matter what is the reason. this is pure bullsh*t by saying to cover up the development expenses. because you claimed it was a self-funded project or non-ICO project.
next problem, the thread is posted today and you said you only have 150 OMNI as a pre-mine but the explorer said 183.232 OMNI. What does that mean? not only pre-mine, but you also staking it. This is ridiculous, just how greed are you?
where is your team member?

220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POW] PERKLE - FAIR RELEASE SMART CONTRACT PLATFORM on: August 26, 2019, 07:15:53 PM

Haven't seen much public development with the project lately. Haven't really seen much happening here or on telegram or on Github. Team really needs to step up communication and engagement at this rate. Very easy to fall off the radar

all activity and communication with the team takes place in https://discord.gg/mVPJKab, they also write on their blog https://blog.esprezzo.io

Ha, that explains a lot. Seems there's some actions over there - sporadic at best but still a paragraph or two better than what's happening over here. Anxious to see where their latest is headed
