2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 10k Coin | HARD FORK TO SLOW DOWN INFLATION | UPDATE IMMEDIATELY on: March 20, 2015, 06:20:35 AM
lol, I find it funny that I told spots it was going to 1 Satoshi and he got mad and blocked me on C-Cex, now it's here and at 1 Satoshi and I'd like to say "I told you so" Tongue

However, I'm not a complete asshole and I'll give you some helpful advice.

Fuck the lottery super Blocks, there is always a way to game it.

Keep the 10k inflation but make it auto-swappable to a new chain once it hits 1 Billion at a 2000:1 ratio

Rinse and repeat.

Focus on features and new markets.

Tone down the arrogant attitude (we all love a little arrogance but too much puts people off).

That is all

Operation give top shills obsolete MacBooks seems to have failed

That's because GAW comes here trying to gloat about their obsolete macbooks, except that PayCoin is a derivative of BitCoin and they are pissing off "Bitcoin"talk, the community that holds all the Coins that they really want. It wouldn't matter what service or feature you make if the market in which you depend on wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.
2003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Colossuscoin v 2.0 (CV2) | Launched! [X13] [PoW/PoS] [in 100% PoS Stage] on: March 20, 2015, 05:53:02 AM
I have around 830,000,000 old Colossuscoin,  https://coinplorer.com/COL/Addresses/22QBfUsMQac7qFkW3UMduXtNHsMP8NGZ6B  , not been following the relaunch or coin for a while, at the moment i have 1.5.2.0 and my balance is not showing but the transactions are. What should i do to swap for Col V2?? I take it im not 2 late!?

edit: my balance is prob 0 as wallet is synching

No you are not too late, I am actively developing Col V2 as we sort through the swap process.

Go to your debug window by clicking on "help" and "debug console" and then click on the console tab and type "checkwallet" and repairwallet" and it should restore your proper balance.
2004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon POS Only - Mandatory update, Please update before 03/23/2015 on: March 20, 2015, 05:41:15 AM

how do I use the rpc call setstakesplitthreshold <1 - 999,999> exactly ?

Example

If you type this

setstakesplitthreshold 500

It will then show this

{
"split stake threshold set to " : 500,
"saved to wallet.dat " : "true"
}

Of course, you can change the "500" to any number you want between 1 and 999,999

Let me elaborate on this a little to help.

First go to "help" and then to "debug window"

Then click on the console tab

Now you can type "help" to let a list of useful functions

Type "setstakesplitthreshold" followed by the number amount you want to set your stake split threshold, whatever you set it at will automatically combine low amounts in the same address up to that amount when it Stakes.

Play around with it a little and see if you can squeeze a little more efficiency out of your Stake, post some results here (try to refrain from including addresses) and it will help us improve on the Staking even more.

Good time to pick up a few cheap CON right now Smiley

A "small" sell could send it below 200 Sat, then a whale pickes up many cheap CON while people panic and then soon him pumping the prize and sell expensive making BTC

I watched it many times with other coins , (the whole ALTcoin makret is a big pump and dump fest - thats why owning an exchange is not a bad , but risky, thing) think i place buy order soon Cheesy

Thatīs not bad if and when it happens, good volume people get interested!

CON hot coin Smiley Good Coin
when i split into 3k each wallet has better staking than 1k each wallet  Embarrassed
XPY PUMPING Ryan Pumpers  Tongue;D

Having 3k size blocks yield you more CON than Blocks of 1k?

You can change your split threshold if you'd like, you can use the RPC console, and type "setsplitthreshold" followed by the amount that you want your CON to split/combine

Interesting that ryan pumper is pumping XPY over Coinstand, he was pumping it before as well...

Some small news is that we are already working on getting our own merchant site and calling it ConStand Wink
2006  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 19, 2015, 02:18:27 PM
Sometimes I wonder about the strategy.

So he picks out six of his biggest promoters and basically gives them $950 each so they'll go online and legitimize Coinstand. He's expecting that the $20 valuation for the six beta users will pump up the price enough that he can sell XPY into it and get more than $6,000 back out. Only, I don't know if that was possible. It wasn't pumped for very long, and he had to sell enough to make up $6,000 plus however much it cost to have the site built.

Even if coinstand is a total scam, he still had to pay for the site being built, and I don't know if he would have been able to sell enough coins at the short-lived inflated price to cover that.

Use the hashtalkers to pump the price

They hinted for some time they have this "new feature" with lots of winks, and "insider information" to get everyone to build reserves of BTC then get Josh to come online and they start going crazy about this dumb market place that isn't even open to the public and pump the price and break the sell walls, then shill with a bunch of accounts while selling into the market. It wasn't 6k they sold into the market, it was more like 50-100k since a lot of people buy on price rises as well. The cost of the site and the few products would be around 8K so then they pocket the difference and meant to cover up the fact that they are now blocking the expiring hashstakers and to be able to say they kept their promise of the $20 per Coin.
2007  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 19, 2015, 02:02:13 PM
Remember that it's not the Hashtalk members that need to be impressed, just a couple pngs would do it for them. The real money is in Bitcointalk but you need to earn that trust, nothing can be hidden and nothing is forgotten, better to roll with the lions than to mingle among the sheep.
2008  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 19, 2015, 01:15:56 PM
wow i see you can get stuff cheap with those cryptocoins... guys can you give me an invite to www.coinstand.com - i want to start my crypto journey by buying a few cheap computers  Smiley
plz pm the invite

Sorry it's only for show and only hashtalk members are invited, you need to get on your knees and pay homage to homero while he does a reach around and takes thousands out of your pocket. It will only be valued at $20 until the time they can shill that they have received their items and post pictures, after that it will open to the public but valued under market prices.

I'm quite surprised that you guys didn't catch the limited time offer.....

Oh Jesus Christ I hope Crestington doesn't see that typo.  He will end up creating it and pimping it over here.

Haha that's great that you guys think of me Smiley

I was more thinking of Coinstain but Constand would be a great name for a virtual market for PayCon, we could sell broken Xboxes and cardboard computers for a laugh.

I don't always post but I am always here, watching and waiting.....

I could sell (used) popUp Cards from Amazon, Gyft, PayPal, PaySafe and more!

I have an old PS2 lying around I don't use the kinda works with one controller with GTA San Andreas, Midnight Club 3 DUB edition and 007

I also have a half tub of used hair gel and a laptop that completely blew up on me

We're already half way there!

halfway there ? Excellent news -so excited! Have a (working!) Blackberry Q5 laying around which I didn't use. BUT if we value PayCon at 1$ that's one hell of a deal! Someone could easily sell it at eBay for 80$

We could value CON at $1 but massively overvalue all items that are actually worth something. I have a friend that wanted to setup a marketplace but they cloned Hashtalk in an hour so I wonder how much time it would actually take to clone Coinstand. That would be a huge price increase! PayCon selling TRILLIONS of items worldwide, it would be bigger than eBay!

Buy CON now!!

Dear Community,

It looks like the project is a mess right now unnfortainly.
I am thinking to restart Ltcd with a new team. Only the question I Will ask the community if there is support for?
I realy don't wanna put time in something what is not supported by the community.

Please let me know what you guys think.

Regards,

Litecoidark

what does it means???
tomorrow we will delisted from bittrex, we wait for months without updates and communication, what are you asking us? What are your plans? and whats about vicvelcro, our beloved dev?

The beloved dev that couldn't even code html, locked the community thread and then threatened to sue anyone who would want to resurrect it (which is complete bs because you can't sue for something that's a coingen clone, and open source)

As I said before, if you'd want to actually progress the Coin you'd have to bring it to POS only otherwise POW would always kill the price. It would take someone who is invested enough to want to make that happen plus the technical knowledge to do it.

If you want to resurrect the Coin then don't ask, just do it but make sure you block Vic from being a part of it otherwise you are wasting your time.

Just my 2 satoshis

From my orignal 200K I have 10.000 left, go for it I say, maybe it will lead to something, the name was awesome, aspiration also, yet the result was ridicilous, and it's true, vicvelcro killed the community, no coin without a strong community, and vic seems to be an expert into pissing people off and being an authitisc insulting freak Smiley

I never held and LTCD at any point in time but saw the damage he was doing and wanted to try to help the community sort it out.

Since those 2 months have passed I launched ColossusCoin2 (to be the replacement for ColossusCoin) and took over PayCon, both Proof of Stake only Coins. PayCon needed someone to take it over and so I did and even hardforked it for a few changes, added a bunch of features to both Coins. I didn't ask anyone's permission to do it, all a Coin needs is someone to take the reins and put the community first.

I would actually be quite happy to have some help with PayCon on the promotional side, got some Coins I could spare as well. It's already everything I said he should do, I'm not just a pretty face, I try to make a point of only giving advice I follow myself Smiley

Are you guys going to fix the slow download problem or the ability to spam the network at no cost? There are numerous bugs and you should be focusing on the Blockchain first and the in-wallet trading second since you can do the exact same thing with an image link.

I told you guys about the Fee spam issue months back and you brushed it off, then performed a live test and proved it and you got mad, but did nothing about it.

The Fee is higher because it adds to the Stake reward but only seems high because you are used to dealing with Bitcoin or whole dollars. The Float is similar size to MINT and so if trading around the 10 Satoshi, that would be 200 Satoshis to send a transaction and still cheaper than Bitcoin. I don't expect that most Coins would ever reach multi-billion dollar marketcaps, most Coins are so cheap that they can be spammed for virtually no cost when it should cost some real value to try to send thousands of transactions on the network as it adds unnecessary data to the Blockchain.
2017  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 18, 2015, 05:58:50 PM
I heard PayCon's floor is set at $100 with a 3 trillion dollar reserve. Why is this coin still so low?

Because inflation is quite a bit higher, even if it drops in price a bit you still make money but as more people Stake the reward vs the currency supply reduces in an ebb and flow depending on difficulty.

Please re-read the previous post I made https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.msg10814284#msg10814284 , I edited it to include some more Staking examples to give a better idea.

It would be hard to measure the exact amount of Stake reward a person could achieve as it's based on Staking participation and Block sizes but very easy to gain 20-30% more on the currency supply growth as typically about 40-60% of people Stake their Coins or have all their Coins in one large Block.

I tuned up the PayCon OP today to also give a bit of a better guide to Staking CON since it is NOT like any other POS Coin.

2018  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 18, 2015, 05:44:17 PM
If anyone just got coins back, get them out of gaw control and into another coin ASAP.

Trade them for some PayCon on C-Cex at https://c-cex.com/?p=xpy-con

You can instantly trade your XPY for 20 CON lol

With CON, everyone is their own Prime Super Staker with 500-1000% POS reward per year.

PayCon was not based on any of the PayCoin code

In PayCon, all POS Blocks pay 30 CON each, at 1 minute Blocktime, that equals 43200 CON per day and approx. 15.76 million per year fixed.

Current supply is 4 million but Stake reward is based on your Stake weight vs network Stake weight, since Staking is at a fixed rate, you gain the Coins that other people do not Stake, (money supply growth is approximately 400% in the first year but Stake potential is approx. 1000%+)

Here's what some ACTUAL users are saying about PayCon

Quote
I just tripled the amount of CON I have!! For staking does it matter if I move it all into the wallet at once or in smaller amounts?

Crestington is one of the best devs!very intelligent good man.
Paycon will make it for sure. This is a winner! I already double my coins through
staking. Some very good News to expect very soon Wink Paycon!

Quote
CON Staking very well!

Quote
I want to thank everybody who was moving their CON around this weekend. Cheesy  I tallied up my staked blocks from yesterday. I staked 66% more blocks than I usually do.  Shocked I had a few blocks of 30 CON each that were reaching max age, that finally staked as well Smiley

I saw this last night   https://twitter.com/PayConX13/status/574622364052422656

So I donated some CON to the addresses that weren't exchange addresses. I just noticed now when I went to find the link, that a bunch more have posted. I'll go back later, and send some to the new ones.

I broke them up into blocks, so they should see some nice stakes next week.

well i commend Cmilian for coming on here and answering some questions. at least he has the balls coming into the lions den and answer questions with respect to his connection with poopcoin.

Actually, it turns out he has less balls than brain cells and I am certain he doesn't have two of those to rub together. He has to run back crying to momma and badmouth those darned people who point out that he is being an idiot in the safety of HT where no one can respond to his pathetic attempts at insults
https://i.imgur.com/oCQndxq.jpg

baaahahahaha he went running back to HT to cry?  I thought he was some bigshot CEO baaahhahahhahaha I knew he was a jagoff the second he rolled in here heavy whipping out his dick claiming his big CEO title.  Doesn't he know I'm a CEO too we're all CEO's here so is HJG.  Like he didn't think we were going to spot his crying post.  Ahh he went through your post history isn't that special he's a detective too.  Doesn't he know that a lot of people in this thread just joined BCT because they were scammed by gaw maybe he should consider that but then again why would he.  Just another greedy jagoff looking to strike it rich off the backs of some unsuspecting suckers.

It really saddens me to see such things around here, all these good hearted people blindly following a few people who are ripping them off and pretend like they are offering them something amazing just to stuff their own pockets.

Right after last month's minting I switched all of my coins over to new addy's
Worked like a charm on speeding things up and decreasing the usage; however the .05 seconds during the address was breath stopping I was so nervous lol
(accidentally tipped someone $500 usd in mintcoins while moving from the exchanges a few months back) (lucky *.*.* doesn't even know it: http://explorer.mintcoinofficial.com/address/MczFhgBKy8HGi3hF6WRzaGQiusH1iSmutU )

the main thing I would like to see addressed in a mintcoin wallet update would be how resource intensive the windows wallet runs... I check my "task manager" quite often and it's the only wallet I run that uses an average of 500 mb of memory when most other wallets use about 125 mb's

my comp is getting older and stuff like that can be noticed if I have too many wallets open and comp starts lagging

Generally it would be because you have a lot of transactions in your wallet.dat so your computer is continually checking thousands of transactions which is a big draw on your computer power. Once you have some 15,000 Transactions or more (about 30-50 MB wallet) it will start to influence your computer performance and you can get rid of this by sending your Coins to a new wallet and getting rid of the old one. It's also influenced if you have a lot of very small Blocks trying to Stake as they are all competing against each other on your own machine to Stake.
