1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon™ POS 30 Coins per Block - Get your CON on! on: May 19, 2015, 08:03:23 PM
Hopping online i found this github wallet source said to be debian-specific.
https://github.com/wdl1908/paycon
Is it reliable? Cause i'm going to run it on a raspberry pi 2 (Debian) and i though it would've been better. Also how much time does it usually take to compile (with qt4)?

Yes it is reliable, it was cross compiled by Daffy who does a majority of the backend work for the GetHashing forums, he also setup the PayCon Block Explorer on the GetHashing forums (which is a better Explorer than Blockexperts)  and you can see the thread here on the PayCon subforum https://forum.gethashing.com/t/paycon-raspbian-packages/3839

What was the MaryJane ID? I remember a few people talking about it and that they really liked that part of the original wallet.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon™ POS 30 Coins per Block - Get your CON on! on: May 19, 2015, 07:46:55 AM
You could consider to stake some CON for your services. It's very unique coin with huge community potential from former gaw hashtards and haters. On the technical side it works and stakes flawlessly. You can also read about it on forum.gethashing.com, there is a lot of info about it there and highly developed fanbase of ex-gaw and new.

I also know that some of the development team from HyperStake has done some work for paycon (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH PAYCOIN) as well. there are a list of coins waiting to be added right now actually. you can however contact the developers and them contact us, they could complete the requirements for a faster addition.

Anyone would be interested to get listed there Huh
It's some kind of cloudstaking company, I'm not sure if very legit, but since PayCon is supported at cryptohalve.com Wink maybe it's a good idea to be everywhere possible to increase trading volume..

Yeah, the best option is to spread as far and wide as possible in order to increase exposure. I put in a reply, it looks quite good and they are transparent about their Staking pool so why not? It would be more beneficial in the long run for them to build their platform in an open and transparent way.

This DoraTheExplorer is a fairly smart cookie and does his research, lol.

I also receiving orphants but not so much, like two one be one, after i am receiving confirmed stake

Take a look Alcurex ,Finland based exchange, really nice, company shares market, fiat money market, physical gold coins.Consider to be there,it is European,Europe is much friendly for Digital currencys and it is from Finland.Scandinavian country area and Baltic Republic area, bitcoin business in that area is booming

Now thay are working on new layout but you can send coin request to them

link to exchange https://alcurex.org/

now you can send coin request by pm halibit on Alcurex btctalk  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=458732.1380

Well the orphan thing isn't really much of a problem IMO but I am working on it and you can see changes I am making on this branch and also is part of a few smaller bugs I am tackling. Mostly working at a code clean-up, I'll need to remove the send by minimal coinage as is mainly relies on the money supply being static and now with Coin Control on the RPC call and other Coin Control features, it's not really needed.

https://github.com/Crestington/PayCon/tree/Wallet-work

ColossusCoin2 is already part of Alcurex, I'd like to have PayCon as part of it as well as it is a good exchange.
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon™ POS 30 Coins per Block - Get your CON on! on: May 18, 2015, 06:18:21 PM
I just hit 14 straight generated but not accepted blocks. I'm usually not accepted at a pretty high clip, but 14 straight feels like something special, especially with the small number of blocks I'm staking.

:S Yes, we've been experiencing a larger number of orphans lately and am working finding a solution to the number of orphans.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HYP] HyperStake | High PoS | Secure | MultiSend | liteStake | Adv Coin Control on: May 18, 2015, 10:44:40 AM
So have you put any thought into creating a marketplace for HyperStake? You could create small businesses out of it.

I have never had much interest in running that type of infrastructure, but encourage anyone else willing to do it to go ahead and try. I like to focus more on the coin code and blockchain analytics and such.

I hear ya, I'd like to also just work on the code itself and not have to worry about the other stuff. I'm working on a marketplace, when I get it up and running I'd also like to offer support for a few other Coins because I think it's important to build the infrastructure around multiple Coins and have markets for multiple Coins that can work together rather than being segmented all the time. The codebase for most coins are the same so then it cuts costs and time if multiple Coins are working across the same code as you can just pull those features but the real gains come from creating your own business out of it, creating use.
1188  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY btc.com Bitcoinist. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: May 18, 2015, 10:08:14 AM
Well I already told Matlock what he needed to do several pages back but I have a feeling that the advice has fallen on deaf ears.

The PayCoin team are a bunch of amateurs with 0 experience in working with Cryptocurrencies, I saw in the first couple weeks of being part of Bitcointalk that if you ever want to be successful in this game you need to be completely transparent because eventually everything you say becomes public. How do you avoid FUD? simple, do the same things in public as you do in private and hold no liabilities because even if people released all your private conversations it wouldn't matter. Team XPY are idiots because it isn't PayCointalk, Hashtalk, GetHashing or whatever that matters, all that matters is Bitcointalk and everything else revolves around that and the fact that they avoid it only shows that they have no idea how to run a Coin.

If you are not being transparent in the things you do, you are only hurting yourself in the long-term. There is lots of money to be made in this industry in a legitimate way, it requires trying to make money for OTHER people, not yourself.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Colossuscoin v 2.0 (CV2) | [X13] [PoW/PoS][in 100% PoS Stage][new Upgrade] on: May 18, 2015, 09:02:16 AM
If it is possible to transfer COL from one Cryptsy account to another at this time:
/
Why not open a cryptsy account. Have COL users transfer their cryptsy COL to said account. Have the user send an email/PM in with their info, CV2 address, transaction, possibly a screenshot of transaction confirmation from their cryptsy account, etc. The user can then be sent their CV2 to the CV2 address provided.

And how would the Coins be destroyed in the transfer?

We would have to trust the devs to burn them into a burn account then destroy it.

It appears there is momentum with the coin exchange so I am happy either way as long as it keeps up velocity.

All that needs to really happen is to keep the updates coming. It really doesn't cost me much to do wallet work and now ColossusCoin2 is pretty much one the most efficient POS Coins on the market. Not being used too much isn't really a problem, at 2 minute Block times that would equate to about 150MB of storage space a year at base rate and now combining with LiteStake, it also has one of the smallest draws of CPU consumption in order to Stake.

ColossusCoin was the first POS only Coin (even before NXT), I'd like to keep going with it and see it through, the only real issue is making the swap trustless so there doesn't need to be that trust in just a few people.

The costs for me are so low because ColossusCoin2 and PayCon are basically the same source, the only real differences are the inflation, Stake ages and the Fees so if one is updated with a bunch of major improvements then all it takes is to lay the source overtop the other.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon™ POS 30 Coins per Block - Get your CON on! on: May 18, 2015, 12:20:33 AM
60 con stake award,than after 20 min 130con  stake reward,what i am so lucky

Suchmoon has been throwing some Coins into the TX Fees Tongue Bonus CON for whoever Staked those Blocks.

Tx Fees are reclaimed and you only need a minimum TX Fee so you can set a higher TX Fee and those Coins would add to the Stake reward of whoever Staked that Block.

You can see them here

My whole CollossusCoin V1 balance just got disappeared at Cryptsy  Undecided

What is happening?!   Huh

I'm not sure, I've always had problems with Cryptsy :S

Anyways, I've gotten the newest versions of ColossusCoin2 compiled. There is a known bug in the Statistics page which isn't reading the money supply correctly, I thought I had corrected the problem and had it rebuilt but I guess not but "getinfo" shows the correct money supply and I'll fix up the bug in a later release.

The newest version comes with

-LiteStake - Reduce your CPU load when Staking up to 100x
-MultiSend RPC - MultiSend is a revamp of Stake for Charity and allows you to automatically send a portion of your Stake to as many addresses of your Choosing.
-Coin Control RPC - Use Coin Control on the RPC command line
-SplitBlock - Split your Blocks into sizes of your choosing for better Staking Rewards
-Delete address GUI - Delete old addresses *warning please make backups before deleting addresses*
-Reduction of the Blockdrift from 30 minutes down to 1 minute
-Doc's updated for Windows build
-Themes - Choose from 4 different themes

You can download the newest Wallet here and also comes with an updated .conf file

1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: If your alt-coin wants some t-shirts made ... on: May 17, 2015, 05:33:20 PM
Shit t-shirts for $hitcoins, seems legit.   BTT is like  virtual Bangkok marketplace

Not sure why you would think they are shit tshirts and they are for altcoins, fiat and btc .

You must be new around here, welcome to Bitcointalk!

Do you do discounts on bulk orders? $20-30 per t-shirt seems a bit much. Do you have a shop or some examples?
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: If your alt-coin wants some t-shirts made ... on: May 17, 2015, 06:57:21 AM
How much do you charge for shirts?
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wondering where the traction fee goes for altcoin on: May 17, 2015, 06:56:27 AM
wondering where the traction fee goes for altcoin? it will go to some wallet or go to blockchain or just disappear

It will either be destroyed of go to some wallet, hope that answers your question.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how pos works!! on: May 16, 2015, 11:25:48 PM
could anybody here be able to offer assistance on how pos is calculated? i have been searching through a few pos coins codes to see if i can find where the bulk of pos working is as i wish to try a few edits to it.
im really looking for the bit where it takes your balance available for pos and multiplys it by your pos reward
any and all help apreciated.

POS is calculated in two areas, in the main.h file listing the main switch for POS percent

static const int64_t MAX_MINT_PROOF_OF_STAKE = 10 * CENT; // 10% per year

In the main.cpp file around line 1000 and should look something like this

int64_t GetProofOfStakeReward(int64_t nCoinAge, unsigned int nBits, unsigned int nTime, int64_t nFees)

1199  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY btc.com Bitcoinist. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: May 16, 2015, 09:47:55 PM

He's working on new features for Paycoin whatever-his-next-scheme-is.

I believe it is a statistical anomaly and likely a good sign that Mr Ganza seems to be unable to continue perpetrating new scams for the past few days.   It's simply not like him.  Maybe rehab?   Maybe he drank the koolaid?   Maybe other countries have laws as well Smiley

Maybe everyone just expects that he's creating new scams, even wants it?
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon™ POS 30 Coins per Block - Get your CON on! on: May 16, 2015, 08:15:52 PM
The price seems to be stabilizing recently Wink
I so hope it would increase a few times so there could be more room for crazy staking rewards fun reiteration or other cool stuff.

Yeah price has been arlight considering we dumped 1/6th of the Coin on the market last week in the Muggle Relief Fund giveaway. I was looking through historical prices and at Jan 12th there were 2 million Coins and price was 500 Satoshi, since then there has been lows of down to 150 and highs of up to 2000 Sastoshi and currently stands at around 500-600 Satoshi with 6.8 million Coins. This would make the price adjusted to inflation at 350-500% gain depending on your Stake participation. In order to grow further we should be looking at creating our own markets and creating more use among adding features and working on the Blockchain.

I don't want to delve too much into price predictions but I've been quite happy with it's performance so far Smiley
