I can upload a compiled version of quarkcoind for those interested. Just add it to /usr/local/bin and do quarkcoind --daemon
That's a good start. Thanks! However, who is going to trust it? The QRK devs will need to host it on an official site with checksums. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Can you send it to them?

To be successful Quark needs
a) Nice clean logo b) Domain and professional looking website c) Pre-built Windows, OSX and Linux clients (all must have GUIs)
Can anyone help with these?
Each of these is key.
Quark is no joke-- it's going to be huge. By employing 6 hash functions, it offers a strong diversification point for crypto-currency portfolios. As it is CPU-based, it's also having a very healthy launch, in which the QRK is being distributed to a wide range of users, rather than just a few GPU farmers. Even to this day QRK is quite profitable to CPU-mine. These are the fundamental elements of success.

This coin is really innovative. I can see the QRK price stabilising at or above 0.0006 on Cryptsy. Then there will be a run up to 0.01 as it starts to compete with primecoin.

PM me if you're interested. I've got 10k QRK. Will sell 5k QRK for 75LTC. (I am keeping the other 5k QRK)
|
|
|
LOL. 1K QRK for 15LTC is the correct price.

Has any code been written yet?
|
|
|
I agree. XPM will fly past LTC.

I think primecoin will definitely see 0.05 BTC by august. It is the most innovative altcoin out there and will be valued above LTC and NVC.
If you want to diversify your crypto currency holdings, then primecoin is the best way to do that.

Any chance for an OSX build?

Actually, can you sharpen the second one up a bit and use the cool "speed trail" on the top of the F from the first logo instead of the simple one on the bottom?
Then it would be perfect.
Next stop, the website... who can make that look more professional?

![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimageshack.us%2Fa%2Fimg89%2F8723%2F3y70.png&t=663&c=9K8cbXVJorDY1A) Alright, It comes off as really plain and simple, similar to the current BTC generally accepted logo. If it is being use for anything other than a massive round object I think the top text needs to go. The weight is way too thin and non-legible at nearly any size. The F should just be put dead center, it looks like it might be center but the text is throwing my eye off. If you want to go even more simple you could remove some of the fast flare and just have two on the bottom. You could spice it up with some minimal gradient, inner shadows, drop shadows, or something else. /2¢ Here is a more simplified version I made very quickly to show what I mean. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi42.tinypic.com%2F2zei1yw.png&t=663&c=b_JDHSBDkRAl9A) Nice, Thank you for your input Ohiwastedmylif, You put a interesting and simple adjustment to it, I think this is great that we can have this creative process bring out these creative suggestions. Any chance you can enlarge your picture a bit, I like to compare it with the original Apple to Apple like. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) /C I totally just deleted the file without saving it sorry, haha. It is more about the small size comparison anyways. If it will work for a favicon or a QT/Wallet icon those sort of things. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi44.tinypic.com%2F4kka61.png&t=663&c=_IqND37XN5cDIQ) Excellent, thank you very cool, I like it already! /C I like these very much, in particular, the second one.

Why haven't you morons fixed the logo and made a website yet? Christ!!
Lol better question is why these morons still pumping this garbage lol BTW I am in Canada and NO it is not VERY popular here lmao Fastcoin= $ 22,351 which is $ 0.0021 @ 10,693,536 total FST ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Hello Cycloid, The truth of the matter is, no one know's where any of these Alt Coin's will end up. We need to keep in mind that at one time Bitcoin was essentially worthless when it first started. Then someone purchased a Pizza for 10,000 Bitcoins, I am sure that person may be kicking them self now for which essentially cost about $1,000,000 USD in today's dollars. Fastcoin was launched a little less then 8 weeks ago and considering that its aggregate value is already over $22K is actually quite impressive this early on. How long did it take BitCoin to reach that value? You cannot Insta-mine this coin, which gives miners a chance to enjoy the benefits of the coin over time. In about 10 months, if Fastcoin continues to keep its current pace, it will have minted over 90 million coin's and if it maintains it's current market value, which I think will be higher then today, that is over $200K in value. That is also assuming that Bitcoin will be valued at its current price @$100USD per BTC. If Bitcoin grows in value which it probably will, this coin will enjoy the ride up with it, to which price that may be is anybody's guess. I think FastCoin is the dark horse in this Alt Coin race, it is easy to mine, has fast transfers and has a bright future ahead of it. It is currently easier to mine then Litecoin and provides better payouts, if you decide to trade them in for BitCoins. Considering the fact that it does have a funny logo, and some crazy Canucks which are deciding to support it, should not relegate the true potential of this coin. Quite the contrary, this leaves ample room for improvement where the crypto community can decide on how to shape and grow the true potential of this coin moving forward. Respectfully /C I agree with you. Fastcoin is actually one of the best alt coins in terms of functionality and fast transactions. Also, the wealth has been evenly distributed, rather than instamined. I'd put it's price at 0.0007 BTC in about 2 months time.

That is lookin' pretty good. I like the colours. Maybe less text though... b/c when it's small it will be impossible to read.

Fastcoin needs a better, more professional looking website and logo. Anyone up for this?
