Guys, a friend asked me to provide an updated version of FST. Since I no longer have time on alt coins, if someone is interested in taking over the maintenance of this coin, please PM me. I will provide you access to the github and this account.

Before I hand over, I will still try to find time and provide tech support as needed for this coin.

Thanks.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Fastcoin needs a better, more professional looking website and logo.  Anyone up for this?

Hello Cycloid,

The truth of the matter is, no one know's where any of these Alt Coin's will end up.  We need to keep in mind that at one time Bitcoin was essentially worthless when it first started.  Then someone purchased a Pizza for 10,000 Bitcoins, I am sure that person may be kicking them self now for which essentially cost about $1,000,000 USD in today's dollars.

Fastcoin was launched a little less then 8 weeks ago and considering that its aggregate value is already over $22K is actually quite impressive this early on.  How long did it take BitCoin to reach that value?

You cannot Insta-mine this coin, which gives miners a chance to enjoy the benefits of the coin over time.    In about 10 months, if Fastcoin continues to keep its current pace, it will have minted over 90 million coin's and if it maintains it's current market value, which I think will be higher then today, that is over $200K in value. That is also assuming that Bitcoin will be valued at its current price @$100USD per BTC.  If Bitcoin grows in value which it probably will, this coin will enjoy the ride up with it, to which price that may be is anybody's guess.

I think FastCoin is the dark horse in this Alt Coin race, it is easy to mine, has fast transfers and has a bright future ahead of it.  It is currently easier to mine then Litecoin and provides better payouts, if you decide to trade them in for BitCoins.

Considering the fact that it does have a funny logo, and some crazy Canucks which are deciding to support it, should not relegate the true potential of this coin.  Quite the contrary, this leaves ample room for improvement where the crypto community can decide on how to shape and grow the true potential of this coin moving forward.

Respectfully

/C

I agree with you.  Fastcoin is actually one of the best alt coins in terms of functionality and fast transactions.  Also, the wealth has been evenly distributed, rather than instamined.  I'd put it's price at 0.0007 BTC in about 2 months time.

All,

I am happy to announce the handover of Fastcoin to Cheetahx. Cheetahx has been an active member of this community for long time and contributed to the success of this community.

Since its launch, Fastcoin has been doing great. It is still one of the most stable fast-paced coin (12 sec target block time) in the alt coin community. It is consistently the most profitable coin in the coinchoose.com list. I am proud of this coin and proud of the community.

My best wishes to Cheetahx and Fastcoin for the future.

I'll give Cheetahx my email address, and will support the coin as I can, for any technical issues that may arise.

This account and github source code access will be given to Cheetahx.

It's been a great journey for me, and I am certainly very proud of it Cheesy
