Slush,

Did my question make sense?

Well, I didn't read it carefully yet as I'm trying to finish payouts now (and there is 5.30 am already). But I'll focus on it later, right?

are we going to see all of them distributed less fee

yes

It seems kinda hard to determine if it's correct because the nmc payouts are shown on the bitcoin statistics page.  So I can't tell how much I get per found nmc block.
Does the nmc payout coincide with the amount of nmc blocks found during the same time period as the btc block?  Or does that column just belong on the nmc statistics page.  Which would mean that each nmc payout listed coincides with a single nmc block?

Pool is currently bitcoin-block centric, because I didn't expect more parallel blockchains year ago, so I solved this in the following way: Once bitcoin block is found, I take all namecoin blocks mined during this time and spread them between namecoin users using their score. So basically it is "user_score / score_of_all_namecoin_users * nmc_blocks_cnt * 50". And this is handled as additional block reward to *bitcoin* block, which is the reason why is NMC reward displayed on Bitcoin block stats. With current low namecoin difficulty I see this mechanism as pretty fair, but I'm preparing to rewrite pool for full support of parallel blockchains, with separate scoring etc, so this should be considered as a "quick and temporary solution".

SAC: Sorry, I don't understand the question. There are not "unassigned NMC". It works in way that mined namecoins are distributed only between pool users with namecoin wallet on profile (and I'm taking 2% as usual).

And yes, all mined coins are 'assigned' to anybody. The question is if they're assigned in right way Wink. But I tracked rewarding for few users and it looks fine so far. So I'm preparing to push red button now...

I cross-calculated everything and it fits for me. I'm ready for paying out, so now is last chance to change anything Wink

Aye, mine seemed awfully low for the several hundred blocks I mined on. I highly suspect the unassigned NMC addy amounts have not been distributed, yet, hopefully...

You see some problems with confirmed reward? Too low? Now the confirmed reward is completely calculated, so tell me NOW if you see anything wrong.

If you claimed your NMC address before 17.10.2011 @ (around) 6pm UTC, you'll receive all coins you deserve (since MM started), which you obviously did. All people who filled nmc address later are earning namecoins since today.

Hmm, just figured out what was wrong and finally generated a nmc wallet address.

Will I get the nmc from the already generated blocks, or only those ones from now on?

Only those from now, unfortunately. You missed gold rush for few hours Sad.

Just curious, if I entered nmc address the day you first made announcement that we should enter nmc address, would I get payments for all mining time spend since the beginning of mergemining ? Or did you only payout nmc generated from the date nmc wallet entry was announced?

Oh well, like small kids before Christmas :-D

People, stop being impatient, please Smiley. It's in progress. Those "Processing..." are pending because I stopped automatic jobs, because it is already calculating old namecoin blocks.

DeathAndTaxes: It is processing much slower than I expected. But I hope you will see namecoins on your wallet in few hours.

While rewards for old blocks are processing, I added firstbits support for Bitcoin wallet on profile. Now you can enter only first bits of your address and pool it automatically translates to full address.

You can read more about neat firstbits idea on http://www.firstbits.com
2033  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: October 16, 2011, 12:49:20 PM
Maybe they already have it working and keep the coins now difficulty is still in the 23k.

No, hidden merged mining isn't possible. From last deepbit block (well, last published in stats - http://blockexplorer.com/rawblock/000000000000067ec6ceda3a41036012b2fc0e2839408f85348a270cda23bc2c) I see that deepbit isn't merged mining thus not hiding anything.

I'm experiencing issues with bitcoin backends, which is the reason that some miners have connection problems; that's also the reason why NMC payouts aren't out, because I'm investigating this.
2035  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1400 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); Now LP&Ntime, NMC merged mining on: October 16, 2011, 12:46:42 AM
Hey everyone --
Slush's website is down for planned maintenance -- does that mean NMC payout coming soon? Smiley

Wink

I updated the system, it is ready. I need to trace few first payouts, but I'm too tired to make some stupid mistake. There is already 70k NMC confirmed, so it's not a fun anymore Smiley. It's 4am here, I'll take short rest and finish it on the morning.
2036  Economy / Marketplace / Re: DialCoin.com - Bitcoins in 30 seconds, worldwide. on: October 15, 2011, 10:11:26 PM
Just tried to buy 0.141 BTC via sms, works nice. If you want bitcoins _now_, I can recommend it.
2037  Economy / Marketplace / Re: DialCoin.com - Bitcoins in 30 seconds, worldwide. on: October 15, 2011, 09:48:46 PM
Year ago I ordered my first bitcoins (well, 0.20 BTC) using similar service; it was my first experience with Bitcoins at all. I agree that prices are high, but it's the easiest way how to start playing with Bitcoins for many people. So I wish you a success, because it's always good to have yet another way how to purchase the best coins on the world Smiley.

There was a problem on one backend for ~40 minutes. It's repaired, I'm sorry for troubles.

It may take few minutes until reward of last round is displayed properly, as in this case.

Next example, this time after 90 minutes (rig works with api.bitcoin.cz:8332 all the time...). Something is seriously wrong

Btw for all people waiting for nmc accounting; I'm very sorry but I really asleep, cause my daily regime is totally broken. But I still have free Saturday, so it's definitely the date when accounting will be ready.
