2021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a gambler addicted? on: January 08, 2018, 05:56:04 PM
Its easy if you find that person everyday on the casino, i'm sure he/she is an addicted gambler.

Precisely, and if you saw people sold everything just to use for gambling thats a real addict. I know people who did this thing, and look where he is now begging for some food. People should control their emotion because greed will ruin your life. Gambling is very risky so you better think again before you do it.

Yes I saw people like what you said, they borrow money from friends to play gambling and after that to return the money they sold valuable things. This is the last stage of addiction here you can easily find out addicted gamblers. Once anyone reaches this stage, it is very hard to control emotions.

When the gambler is at that level, gambling with borrowed money and selling his valuables, it will be difficult for him to get out. There are many examples of such cases around us if we are able to observe closely. Tbh, many bad examples gained from gambling compared to good one.
2022  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: January 08, 2018, 11:24:02 AM
I do gambling for my passion only not to be addicted. Most of my friends says that they are getting crazy if  the not gamble and practically I have notice that and I use to counsel them plan and execute will let you to quit from addiction and my formula is once in a month or in three months once I strongly / mentally stick with this and I never addicted even I skip my gambling schedule.
I have seen the first person in my whole life who says that I gamble because it’s my passion. I have heard many gamblers who say we gamble to make easy money while some of them say just for fun purpose. But making it a passion is something new. Anyways, what can we say because everyone has his own choice and life. It means you have got a good self control on you that’s why you are able to defeat your gambling addiction.
We should know that gambling is really made for fun, once we depend our income on it, it is really a problem,  I only play for fun, we should learn to have control and know what gambling is. Making it a passion can be determined depending on how lucky we are or how we are able to respond on any situations when it occurs it gambling. Better have some limitations still.

Yeah, gambling should be treated as a fun thing to do. But if we did it regularly then we will find a hard way to control our mind to keep gambling as a fun activity. Most of us will fall into the reverse side instead of being steady on our first plan.
2023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick ICO question on: January 07, 2018, 06:15:58 PM
Hi guys

Something which hopefully is a simple question but I would really appreciate understanding...

If you invest in an ICO, could you ever lose more than you invest?

I understand that, say for example you invested $1,000, that could eventually be worth £0 but could you ever end up owing money? - say the coin crashed and the company running it had debts for example.

Might be a silly question (sorry if so) but I'd like to know.

Thank you.

You can lose all your investment money but you will never owe money if something bad happens with the project. It's not your problem if the company that runs the ICO is collapsing and having debts. That is what I understanding!
2024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: January 07, 2018, 11:47:33 AM
People sell their bitcoin for several reasons. Sudden needs can be the most common reasons. In addition, people sell bitcoins because their short-term targets have been met. They wait for the price to drop a few points to start buying bitcoin again with their new plans.
2025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what impact has gambling make in your life? on: January 06, 2018, 03:36:13 PM
This one i can relate but not me as a gambler.  Its about my father, he has been a gambler ever since i was a baby like even before i was born. Infact he raised up his family through this. Our life was never stable, i mean we are not financially stable until me and my two sister finished college. But at least we finished school with the help of my relatives. My sister and i was financially supported by my aunt because my father dont have a stable job. All his life is gambling until now. He has plenty of debts and loan. Its hard but we are used to it. Thats why no one with my siblings gamble. But we are thankful to our father because he still put food in the table despite he losed in gambling, support us in school although with the help of our aunts. Maybe this is the reason why we study hard to finished our school. We look forward to have a good job, good life and dont want to experienced this to our kids. We are still thankful to our father because he never let us stop school, he provide whatever he can gave from gambling but i can see its not stable. There are times he dont have money. And we need borrow money. Money was so tight. We learn so much from it. We become tough and somehow disciplined.

I'm sorry about your father! But at least you have something to learn. Tbh, I have some friends who are addicted to gambling and most of them have a very bad life. Some of them even sell their valuables for gambling. It can be very dangerous if we treat gambling in the wrong ways so, be careful.
2026  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: January 06, 2018, 12:07:06 PM
I wasn't sure what my and was gonna be but after I read so many replies, I think u should hold, btc is but a concept and as long as people believe in it (as they do now) its value will rise.

There is no risk in holding your bitcoin for a long time because it's value is increasing everyday and hold your bitcoin is very helpful for big investors so all investors trust bitcoin by it's unique features .

Everything we do there must be a risk and no exception with holding bitcoin in a long period of time. Although today, bitcoin price tend to rise, but there is no guarantee that the price will continue to rise in the future.
2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: January 06, 2018, 09:41:32 AM
Its like asking why do some people need to smoke? To satisfy their body with the nicotine they are addicted to. Same reason for gambling. People gamble to satisfy their gambling addiction. They feel like something is missing in their life when they don't gamble and gets an urge to gamble as soon as possible. The satisfaction they get from quick wins is what makes them addicted to gambling.

Indeed, if gambling is already become our regular habit, it will feel so strage when we don't do gamble even for awhile. Our mind will encourage us to do it. It can be overcome but gradually by reducing the gambling time and looking for other activities.
2028  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITSLER.COM ARE SCAMMERS!!! on: January 05, 2018, 05:40:00 PM
Hello , today I would like to share you my experience with Bitsler Dice casino and to make you understand why I think admins are scammers and not being fair with their clients.
Shortly this is my story:
I am playing with cryptocurrency for sometime , know about risks, rules and terms of service, how provably fair system works and had a very good statistics of winning in dice games.  I am always ready that I can loose my balance to zero when my counting  is not correct, but situation described lower is the fact of scam and not being able to be fair.  I have deposited amount ~ 787 000 doge coin, with the current price is equal to 7800$ ,  i have played x107, increase on loss 5%, with base bet 1, after loss streak about 210  system automaticaly stoped placing bets becouse it was set on popup window that max win can be not more than 2 500 000 doge, i had 320k+ doge on my balance i had a very big chance to hit the win roll, but because of auto stop i have lost 486k doge
I have chatted to admins, and received an answer that the maximum win with doge could be not more 2 500 000 doge, and thats why it stopped. Sound fair , but in TOS ( rules) there were written that max BET in dice can be 5 000 000 doge and nothing about max WIN (my last bet was 23 000 doge), so I have contacted admins , I will attach the history with admins, where only of them admit that they were not correct, but in final I have never received my balance back, I received an offer from main admin Baryom , that he will let me finish my streak , with the max bet 5 000 000 doge , but I will need to upload balance again. after our discussion, I realized that there will be no way that I will be able to win, and they will just scam me for the balance for second time, hope this will help some people understand why I don’t recommend using Bitsler and to understand how their admins behave. These guys come up with rules on the go, so be prepared for such situations. Best of luck.

Hello,

I managed this case personally. You played a martingale and you busted it. Indeed, like in all other casinos, we have a max bet/win. The expected win of your last bet was higher than our max win (2,500,000 DOGE) That's why you couldn't make higher bets. But on our side, the FAQ wasn't updated (5,000,000 DOGE written at this time)

So, I thought about the fairest solution for both sides and you refused it. The solution was : Letting you make your next bets until you reach the 5,000,000 DOGE  max win limit. It is the fairest solution because it can let you play like you could have played in the beginning. At the moment,  I have proposed you this solution, you didn't make any new bets so all the next bets will be provably fair with the same seed.

Cheers,

i want to get my balance back to my account, and then i will decide to play further, or no to play after such behave from admin's side.

you made a mistake with faq, and leaved me without a choice, with this auto-stop bet, now you proposing me something that is good for you and not quite fair for me,

i am sending you my proposal, you restore the balance that have been lost when the auto-stop worked, and then i will decide how to manage these funds, to add more, to play martingale or forget about your casino once and for all.

regards

I have guessed earlier that even though the admin provides the best solution you will still looking for your own truth. I know it feels so bad when we lost a relatively huge amount of money, but lets try to be more realistic.
2029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 04, 2018, 06:27:58 PM
Tottenham did not make a mistake when they played against Swansea. Tottenham kept the game under heavy rain in a 2-0 win. West Ham could only win 1 of the 11 games they played away this season. I expect Tottenham to get a simple win.

This will be an easy game for Tottenham to win. And the chance for this game to end with high scores is exist. Over 2.5 goals will be a good choice.
2030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: January 04, 2018, 11:16:49 AM
Helping others is a noble job. We can start it from our environment, but give bitcoin directly to them, I think will cause a problem because not everyone knows bitcoin and poor people here rarely have a bank account.
2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: January 04, 2018, 10:20:05 AM
It's all about the money that is why plenty of people will gamble, some think that it is very easy to eran money from gambling which is not true.

Gambling addiction is really because of that, it is all about the money that we could win in the jackpot, and the other reason is because of the loses that we had in gambling, but it still depends on us. Realizing what would happen next if we are going to continue gambling could help us to eradicate this gambling addiction that we have.

Gambling addiction, just like any other kind of addiction, will make the perpetrator feel that nothing else matters more than what he does. People who are addicted will tend to forget about other kinds of activities in their lives. Gambling gives an empty hope to their riders. Instead of earning easy money, most gamblers will lose their money or precious time and even more. We can gamble but do not get us addicted!
2032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoins become worthless? on: January 03, 2018, 10:23:24 PM
I dont think that is possible. BTC's value does not seem to fall so bad that it becomes worthless.

Anything is possible but I don't think bitcoin will be worthless soon. Nothing is eternal in this world, only time will decide. Someday, when the new and better technology will be found, bitcoin could get less attention and gone.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: January 03, 2018, 04:37:30 PM
I just want to know how you feel when you get a big win from the gambling you play, I know that feel is definitely fun.
But, do you feel or ever assume you are a gambling expert after you get a big win?
Then what kind of gambling has made you think of yourself as a gambling expert?

I've never consider myself as a gambling expert even I won a lot of money. Since I believe that in gambling it's not about skills or knowledge but majority in gambling is being lucky. No matter how good you are if it is not destined to be yours then its not.

Me too, I never thought my self as an expert since gambling is all about luck. My purpose while doing gambling is just to have fun and as long as I am not ruined my financial, gambling will be okay for me.
2034  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance on: January 03, 2018, 11:18:52 AM
There is no need to worry about price of btc, it will jump higher then ever before. Its just little correction of the price and the lots of people were selling because of the holidays and etc. So just sit and relax and enjoy. Smiley

Yeah, as bitcoin holder we have to not panic when the price move down. It is very common to happen. As you said, the previous holidays maybe is the main factor why the price moving down. As for now, the price start to climb again and that is good for sure.
2035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people keep trying new casinos? on: January 03, 2018, 04:59:36 AM
A lot of threads in gambling section are basically dedicated to scam accusations. They can be seen every day on the first page. The casinos about which people complain are usually new or known to be scamming people (one can easily check out the trust of members leading the respective ann threads to be assured in that). I don't understand why people deposit money onto new casinos and then complain that they scammed these people. I mean, there are lots of very trusted casinos offering a wide range of games, so why not to keep playing at them rather than some unknown risky ones?

People keep trying for new casinos because they believe that thwir luck might change there. OR that a change of scenery would do wonders for how they value the game. Or it moght be simply that they think that their okd casino is rigged.

Yeah, new place new hope! But the main reason why people keep trying new casinos based on my own experience is due to the fact that most new casinos will offer special promotions. When there is a chance to get something, reward in this case, people will droves to such places.
2036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can any government ban Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2018, 05:39:28 PM
The government can ban the use of bitcoins as currency, but I see no reasonable reason to ban the use of bitcoin as an asset. At least that's the impression I received from my government policy.
2037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 02, 2018, 04:53:22 PM
I did a gamble but not a lot so I'm not shameful. But I've seen a gambler addict that is not ashamed about it. They are already trapped in it that they don't care what they do or what will people think of him doing it and getting addicted with it.
I also see a lot of gamblers who are not ashamed to be gamblers. They often tell me about gambling and I just listen. I'm not a gambler and I would be embarrassed if being a gambler, but they're not because they feel so. We can not force them to be ashamed of being gamblers, that's their choice. Whatever is done, we will only bear the risk of each.

People seek retreats, people spend money on leisure activity. Gambling is another one of leisure activity. Drinking, smoking, prostitution are other such activities. Now it's upto a person's morals to categories these activities into a sin or not.
for instance, I would never seek out to prostitution because i think of it as a means of taking advantage of a person's need to earn quick money.
I would be fine with alcohol and gambling because i believe i have a good control over myself to not overdo things and not go out of the scope of my reason to get addicted to stuff that could prove fatal in long run of my life.
May i ask your reason because of which you would feel embarrassed being a gambler?

At some cultures including mine, gambling is a very bad thing to do. Something that is perceived as the cause of the financial ruin of those who do it. No matter how adept we are in gambling, whether we can control ourselves or not, gambling is still something bad in the eyes of the people. And as a gambler I certainly do not want people to know my habit because of the impact that I can get when people knowing it can be very uncomfortable.
2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people are sharing tips? on: January 02, 2018, 11:23:46 AM
Something done must have its purpose. The most common and sensible thing is, they try to build a reputation with their predictions. And when the tipsters have earned the reputation in question, they can use it to find additional income.
2039  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN PRICE on: January 01, 2018, 06:08:30 PM
I think bitcoin price will start to rise again this january and it will not drop down its price to below $10000 because for sure the demand will increase again after the past hollidays.

I have the same opinion with you. This recent drop is caused by Christmas and new year celebration. And I think the price will move up again at the middle of January.
2040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: January 01, 2018, 05:06:02 PM
Like most of the fellow gamblers, I gamble at the specific time and that is in the late hours. My family sleeps at that time and I have time to escape into gambling rooms and to relieve myself of my stress that has accumulated itself through my hard day. I also usually gamble at home. There were times I was going to land-based casinos and when I played in different hours but know I'm tired of walking elsewhere. The improvement of technology is providing me the comfort of gambling in my house and that is the best factor for me right now. Night home gambling is bringing me enjoyment and fulfillment.

Night when the rest of our family members already sleep, is the best time to start online gambling. I like to do it too but I limited my time for only one or two hours a night. I don't want this habit to impact my performance at my daily job.
