True it depends on the culture where the people is living but obviously, a person being a profesional wouldn't care whatever other people thinks since they know themselves better than these gossip loving, judgemental people. Actually in this case there is no requirement for someone to store 1 bitcoin in their wallet because there is no such standard and there is no recommendation that this should be done.

I agree with luckmcfly as it is true that poker players are mostly big money holders who necer quit even though they lose so much in the process of playing but then most of them always run bankrupt due to excessive playing and always trying to recover from previous losses.
I think one of the reasons why most of this gamblers do end up being bankrupt is because of so much addiction which would be eaten them to the core. But investing is much easier than mining, with an investment you just buy and hold for a long time and don't need to spend any extra cost to maintain the holding. But in contrast to mining, you pay a lot of things everyday, it's a lot more expensive than holding and it will be more difficult if you just mine without selling them, maintenance costs, electricity costs, daily operating costs...There is a lot to take care of so mining is really a business and not just an investment. well I have completely explain both sides, yeah buying coins is much easier but if we will look in the long term? it is indeed both are practically better for investors. and besides it is depend in the availability and our location , there are places where electricity is really cheaper that we can earn or profit than Buying bitcoin.
