2022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you using trading indicators? on: March 11, 2022, 06:46:41 PM

I just want to ask this question, are you using indicator for trading? If using it for trading, is it helping you. I just want to go beyond what we are reading online and see what people will have on this.

If you are using indicators for trading, which ones have you used that make a good trades for you?
Not all the times there would be news or fundamentals which you could make use on your trading analysis which simply means that you would really be mainly make use of technical indicators.
It wouldnt matter if its effective or not because the market is unpredictable and random which whether you do make use of indicators or not.
Naked trading or does have lots of indicators been used as for my own i do make use of

1. MA
2. RSI
3. MACD
4. Common support and resistance line

Depending or varying on what time frame you are tending to snip out some positions since
not all would be the same on what type of trader you are.
2023  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 11, 2022, 05:36:23 PM
^ I saw on meta about this thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5389189.0. Russia will be going offline, they completely disconnect global internet, so how those gambling casinos that based on Russia? There is no boycott anymore, they decided already to cut down their global internet and they only access their local website which is I don't think how they can communicate other outside websites like casinos, not unless someone will use VPN all of these is useless implementation. Anyone could share their thought on this.

But according to the link that you have posted, wasn't it only for March 11 ?
Will Russia be connecting to the global internet again on March 12 ?
What are they going to achieve by cutting off from the global internet just for 24 hours ?
Why they do cut off itself off from the internet? It is because of "continous cyberattacks"
https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/russia-may-cut-off-internet-cyberattacks-b2031793.html

But as mentioned on the link that they have no plans to disconnect the internet from the inside.
Too much on being paranoid about boycotting on why people do really have this kind of reaction towards things. If they would consider out on cutting it off
then i cant think that much unto its huge effect in overall.
2024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How fast can the CEX affect the bitcoin price negatively? on: March 10, 2022, 11:37:02 PM

Given that bitcoin price have been affected by market sentiments in the past when the press say things like China regulating bitcoin the price drops down and whales buy then later the price pumps back again without any action on bitcoin from China either. So do you think that bad news about bitcoin affects the price of bitcoin? Using the example above if such a news arises about sanctioning the top 5 CEX will the price of bitcoin drop drastically?
No one knows on what would happen next but its impossible for these things to be ignored when we do talk about market sentiments or events that happening around specially if you do see that the news could really

make out some big effects if it connects to economic situation then it would most likely be having that kind of effect but somehow it would not be an assurance for it to happen though but its better
to be watchful so that you could take advantage and able to make such step or action according to your own risk management or analysis.
2025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blame Game in gambling on: March 10, 2022, 10:48:31 PM

Same is our stance on everything in life including gambling. We do whatever we like but we do not want our children to do the same things. If parents didn't gamble in the first place, there are fewer chances of their children doing the same.

Damn true, that is why as much as possible we show to them good sides and not the bad ones. This starts when they are little kids, they save memories and what comes to their mind at that age will be remembered for a lifetime. If your children sees you as a gambler, possibility is, they would also be gamblers in the future, so teach them not to be at the young age and the chances would be minimum. I know someone, a hard gambler and his parents are not. So another factor is the community where you raise your children, they could get the habit of gambling with friends and other people they mingle with. Really better to try being a strict parent and see what they up into.
All matters on how you do guide them but showing them on what you are or on what you are doing is typically a strong influence which would really be result in most likely they would be following your same path.

Only a few would really able to realize up things that they should not do on what their parents are doing. It is a matter of realization and its better to make them realize when they are just still
young and its true that those things would really remain into their minds forever and wouldnt really be able to forget it.
2026  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: March 10, 2022, 09:32:53 PM
Governments can regulate bitcoin whether they treat it as currency or not - with or without our approval. If you are worried about developments like this, then keep the use of exchanges to a minimum keep most of your crypto out of those, where they can't freeze it. We've already seen in Canada what they are willing to do to your money, crypto or non-crypto.
The government will not fully regulate bitcoin, the government will only provide basic regulations that will regulate every use of crypto. Using as few exchanges as possible can be an option, because your assets on the exchange are not your assets, because you do not have the keys. If you store it in a personal wallet then it is your full asset.
Stay alert and follow the development of cryptocurrencies as well as some government regulations, Government regulations will certainly change.
When you are using a particular exchange locally then it would really be just sensible that you would really be looking for various information or updates in regarding with possible changes specially attaching out with

regulation on crypto then you could really make out some immediate step which you might able to save up your ass on locking your funds on a particular centralized exchange.

We do hate regulation but its true that it is one of the things which would fasten up recognition and adoption but of course this would only touch up centralized platforms and services.
2027  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: March 10, 2022, 08:35:29 PM
So just a few weeks ago I logged into my Roobet account and was pleased to see that I received a 10$ free bonus of some sort.
I received the bonus on Feb 4th 2022.
Does anyone know by any chance what the reason for this was ? Maybe some anniversary or Raffle ?
Havent you able to enter some promocodes wayback? or didnt do anything?

Among all the promotions that Roobet does have then it is really hard to identify out which one do really give out those free bucks or spins.
For some solid or loyal players on here might really have the idea for this one.
2028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A few key points distinguishing traders from gamblers on: March 10, 2022, 07:23:56 PM
The gamblers should always get prepared that the market does not work in a way that everyone think it's going to go. Market is unpredictable and those who are gamblers would tend to loss more when things go wrong. Although there is always a urge to leverage more when one thinks the market is going to dance to our tune. I think the newbies trader sometimes do fall in this situation because of weak knowledge about the market.

For newbies, better be ready to lose money in the beginning, I think that is a given fact. You can't simply trade and be 100% on making money. So for me it's good to lose money but at the same time learning through experience. For gamblers, they doesn't care, as long as they think they will profit, they will bet everything they had. As compare to a good trader, wherein he looks for market signals before putting money into the game.
This is what eventually ruins a great deal of newbies, they come to the market with complete mistaken expectations, but of all the misconceptions they have of the market probably the worst of all is that they actually believe they can come to this market, make money and never lose it, a good trader losses money from time to time but that does not affect him, but why is that the case? Because at the end he knows that his system is solid, and even if he losses a trade on average he should earn money with each trade he makes.
Out of those expectations then here comes on facing  the reality on which it would really be crucial for your learning and realizations which neither it would push you to decide whether you would proceed or would

completely stop because not all people do really have good impressions about trading when they are just starting. They lose then they do simply stop and saying that trading is too risky but they
havent realize that despite of those risks there  would be profits if they have done just well on what they are doing although it wont be that simple but it is attainable.
2029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the future of Binance bright??? on: March 09, 2022, 11:47:37 PM
There are many topics about BNB, but none of them have a serious future analysis. I would like you to comment on the expectation of 5000 dollars about BNB.

What kind of "serious future analysis" you are looking for where everything is speculative.

If reaching $5,000 price coin is always the basis for you to called a certain coin having a good future then crypto is not for you.

Manage your expectation to avoid being stress thinking about it.
Just like on what people been talking or hoping for 1m/btc which is impossible thats why just like on what others been saying on other altcoins as well on where presuming on prices which turns out not to be that
realistic at all but who knows if we would really be hitting up those numbers or digits because this market is unpredictable which most people been saying on here.
As an investor and if you do really believe on BNB then you would be holding it and dont listen into others sentiments and stick out into  your plans.
2030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 09, 2022, 10:38:40 PM
You forgot the important point I said before, Ugas is a good fighter and we all know that but the result won't change much because this is the same as his fight with Pacman and even if Ugas can but age will still speak in this.
He's only 35 now but I'm still pretty sure Spence can beat him even with a slight age difference but he can make the most of it.
Some do say that age wouldnt affect that much but it is evident on what happened on Pacquiao which it did really make out some toll and with Spence which is younger then he wouldnt really be having that kind of disadvantage.

But Spence shouldnt really be that confident or taking lightly on Ugas or else that would really be making out some mistake which might result into a loss.No doubt that Spence would be the main favorite on here
but there are people who are rooting for Ugas to pull some upset on here just like on what he did in the past which not everyone is expecting.
At least in this case it can be used even if it's a little, Ugas is a strong fighter with complex abilities, But Spence is more than imagined.
Lowering your concentration against such a great boxer is a stupid thing to do and here of course Ugas and Spence won't do that.
Now is the proof that must be done so that when the match is over there will be no regrets
As a boxing fan then we would be wishing to see a good fight on where both boxers do giving out their best of their performance and we know that in every sport there would be only 1 winner unless if there would be

some draw which is really unlikely to happen most of the time.Spence is hard to be beaten up and some do even conclude already just because of some triangle kind of analysis which it isnt accurate most of the time.

We dont know on what are their preparations behind whether it would be effective against their current opponent or not.
2031  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $40000 resistance on: March 09, 2022, 09:40:11 PM
And yet the price did break the $40k resistance today. It is surprising? of course, but it just shows that the so called resistance could be broken if there is some positive news around, same when there is some FUD the price will falter. So no need to sell at this point, much better to just really hold and look for the long term. At least, it will not complicated things on our part, instead of selling today and wait for the price to go down and then buy.
Its currently $41k as of this moment and it did really hit  42 as i had seen earlier but it wont really be that an assurance that we would really be staying on this level or this is some sort of testing out this resistance.

It isnt really that assured that we would be reaching 50k soon and this is a very common behavior of  this market which is really that unpredictable. Now, it is really hard to consider whether we do sell out for profits

or wait up further more increase. We dont see any news or sentiments around except that Russia-UK war and the rest cant be seen.
2032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to be investing in Bitcoin? on: March 09, 2022, 08:42:49 PM
Today bitcoin is up more than 8%, of course many regret that they didn't buy yesterday when the price was still around $36, but I think if we buy immediately then there is still a chance to get a big profit because I believe the price of bitcoin will reach $50k in March.

Any time is the best time to purchase as long as you have the financial means to do so because we know that the value will increase in the future. However, if we think about it from the perspective of a trader, one who really requires technical knowledge is one who buys when the market is down. To answer this question, I would advise a newbie to do more research before purchasing a bitcoin because, first, if you are familiar with bitcoin, you will know when is the best time to buy it, and second, any time is a good time to buy or hold bitcoin. If this question was asked while the price was still at $600, I would say that if you bought at $600, you are now extremely wealthy; if you bought at $600, you are now extremely wealthy.
As long as you aim to hold bitcoin for long term, the current price is still good to buy. But i suggest if you want for maximize profits in the future, then you should have bought when it was still below $40k, but i have feeling that any time bitcoin price will drop again since we can't expect these days for bitcoin to suddenly skyrocket due to the present war happening in Ukraine and with Biden to create executive order for bitcoin. Certainly, those were some of the market events that made the market moves unstable.
You wouldnt mind on bottom prices everytime you would make out some purchase because you are aiming for long term but if you do aim for short term then you would really be totally be mindful about price movements

which it is really just a common behavior of yours to be done.Good time to invest when everyone is really on fear on the times that the price is really on deep reds and no one really tends to buy because they do thought

that the price might go down even more. Its a common or natural human kind of reaction but only risk takers could really see the opportunity.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: March 09, 2022, 07:38:16 PM
I see that this thread is active for more than months now but we still don't see any improvements with the negotiations. I don't think this match will happen and also I don't think Mike Tyson will show mercy to Logan Paul and he would beat that kid easily, which that's why I wanted this match to happen but I think it will never gonna happen now.

Not just you mate, truth is that almost all of the people who know Mike Tyson and other boxing fanatics are also looking forward to see Iron Mike fight again in the ring and beating the young Logan Paul who just wants to milk the industry for having some nonsense exhibition fights just like he did vs Mayweather.
Sadly, Mike have already talked about this few weeks or month ago that he won't be stepping into the ring to do fights for good. The thread is just active because some are still speculating that this match will happen and the OP is still letting the thread open.

I think we should close this thread because this fight will not take place. The topic has already discussed not only the likelihood of the fight, but many other issues concerning both Mike Tyson and Logan Paul. Even if the fight takes place in the future, this thread could be reopened.
Agree on this one on which this thread should be locked yet it isnt really relevant anymore on making out discussions on something which wouldnt happen anymore because of those things been mentioned.

Mike Tyson doesnt really have the interest to fight on and it was all rumors and fuss about this one which turns out that Logan had been using for some personal exposure kind of intent.
There's no sense if we do keep on bumping out this  thread on talking about on a fight  that wont really happen.
2034  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: March 08, 2022, 11:41:46 PM
Speaking with replacing or alternative supplies then theres just no way.
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/03/08/analysts-say-alternative-supplies-wouldnt-be-able-to-fully-replace-russian-oil.html

Somehow EU can wean itself off on next 6 months.

So it would be still ample time?
2035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy more so you can sell some on: March 08, 2022, 10:34:55 PM
my current investments are down compared to where they were, but they're still up 2x to 10x from where I bought in. My strategy is just to buy when fear is really high and as things are crashing and then hold long term. Haven't sold anything yet. Only made some lateral trades for other assets.
As long you could able to bare the risk of this investment then go ahead. You could accumulate as much as you can for long term process but it isnt bad to make out some target price or goals on where you would

realize those profits that you had been holding for too long but well its still your decision to make because not all would really be minding off on getting profits in short term basis thats why they do commonly be

having this kind of behavior.Buy when you do see its the right time to buy but of course it would be having corresponding risk anytime, so be wary of it.
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.com.au in probelms for unwanted gambling advertising on: March 08, 2022, 09:28:22 PM
Yeah, sure it is a lot of money.

And the government just did the right thing to put a penalty for that trick that they've done. It is the customers that were already asking for their promotions to stop but they didn't.

Doing an apology won't do.

It's already imposed that they have a penalty to pay and whether they apologize publicly or not, they still need to pay the amount.
Correct, they should apologize, after all they were disrespecting their clients by not following their wishes, however that in no way changes what it has already happened and they need to pay the fine they were imposed, now even if this seems like a lot of money we need to wonder how much money they earned by doing something like this? Because if I were to guess I would say they earned more money than the fine they had to pay, in which case they may not change their ways and keep doing this in the future.
An apology won't just be enough if it's already been asked long time ago as request of their users.

As usual, casinos would earn more than the fines that they would pay. That's why if there will be penalties imposed to them, they have no problem of paying that.

They don't want to stop their operations and it's what they want, an obstruction to cause a delay for their business operations.
They wont really be taking it seriously if they do know that they could easily pay those fines but if there would be making out some changes and really tend to get rid of these scenario then they should impose higher

fine or penalty amounts which companies would really be having those doubts and fear on committing those mistakes because it wouldnt really be just worth for them to fine on just committing those unwanted

emails and promotions been sent out on excluded users or something in related with marketing. It is really just right that they should really be penalized.
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was tempted to sell off altcoin on: March 08, 2022, 08:24:53 PM
It is that the Altcoin can be sold, many traders show that when they buy an altcoin with a profit of 30 or 40% they are satisfied, of course if the currency continues to grow, it is another case, it is up to the discretion of each person if He continues to keep it in Hodl mode, now well, I have many friends who, when they see that their currency reaches 20%, leave, and it is not seen as an error, it is something that they have already managed, they usually have the sell orders ready in the exchanges so that they run on their own, so it's not bad to sell, because everything depends on the plan.

Very correct. Some Altcoins are not for the long HODL and you should always have a sell target when you buy some ALts that you are not planning to hodl for long that's why some trader have their gain target and set their sell price however, some don't understand this or maybe they are greedy.
Since this market couldnt really give out any assurances then you would really be having those kind of doubts whether you do sell on a particular point or would hold even further because we arent that blind to see

those people who do become millionaires on just by simply holding but of course it would really be mixing out some sort of luck when it comes to crypto investment because not all projects would really be that having that kind of potential which could raise up its value into those high multipliers which means it would really be still a gamble because majority of projects do plummet their value afterwards which means that you had
missed out those opportunity to earn big.
2038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $40000 resistance on: March 08, 2022, 07:25:06 PM

Please, give accurate information as you are think it can be, we all still know that bitcoin price will rise and reach ATH again.
When dealing with this market then there's no assurance about accurate information because no one do able to predict on what would happen ahead thats why it is really hard to make out predictions because no matter

how good your analysis would be but still  this market could really fucked you up thats why on every move that you would make would be having corresponding risk and it would be really no assurance.
So when you do make a move like buying back on cheaper price wouldnt assure that you do make out a good decision.
2039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Currency Game on: March 07, 2022, 11:42:51 PM
Crypto currency game is a game plays by two or more players, and the means and Objects (Items) of the game are own by the individual players, that makes the game decentralized game.

The game is different from the traditional game in which the programmer ( the producer) own the products (items) and give it to the players.

But yet I don't know how to play the game in practical.

Please someone teach me how to play the game.
On what kind of game you are preferring to play? We do have that decentralized game which is totally called blockchain based type game which sadly saying that this isnt really that popular on this market

and what you are talking about is all those program based but somewhat it could be still trusted because you could still able to verify it out which would give out some confidence on gamblers.
So if you are looking something in between then there's really lots of games that you could actually able to search out.
2040  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: March 07, 2022, 10:40:25 PM
Low paying job forces people to look for other source of income, and trading crypto can be a good source as well but it requires a lot of work and this is not an easy money.

If living pay check to pay check, I’d rather not to quit my stable job even if it pay low and better for me to have other source of money. Beside, being a full time trader doesn’t mean big money, you still have to be good in trading before you make money. So I choose to be a part time trader, while doing my work daily and so far its effective for me.
This is true!

This is the main reason on why people been looking for alternative jobs because their main source of income isnt really just right nor ample on their current living which it is just normal for people to seek for another
chances for them to earn more.

Majority are making trading as a side job rather than on making it full time.It isnt necessary to be a full time trader though but if you are earning big which is sufficient on your needs then
why not on making it as a main source?
