2021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where did I went wrong with this comparison on: March 11, 2017, 08:58:22 PM
that is the exchange volume...look at "earn 1 btc" tab
2022  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: March 11, 2017, 12:27:50 PM
So when does everyone think we will breach, and hopefully stay over, the $1300 mark again?
Bitcoin has all the reasons to have prices like $1500 levels, so the rejection of etf application will not impact bitcoin prices that much hopefully, bitcoin prices will continue its progress normally like what we have seen in late 2016. I'm very much sure we're going to see $1300 again before end of this month itself.

The ETF news was a perfect opportunity for traders to manipulate the price in the short term.
That etf phase was good not just for traders also in those times bitcoin got promoted heavily through media coverages when it was outnumbering gold prices. Hence we can believe bitcoin will keep on attracting new investors like the current prices are good time for them to get into.

All the reasons?
Like not being able to scale?
Like having a community that refuses to adopt critical improvements to ensure its very own survival?
Like offering no useable privacy?

Ah yes this should definitely be valued at $1500. Lol man you're delusional.

scaling solution are there, miners just don't agree, what we can do? nothing

the community that do not agree again are miners only, they can't agree between themselves on anything and they are 70% chinese, go figure...

bitcoin privacy is the best you can have, just work a little harder to make it more anonymous, 100% anonymity isn't that good either, the receiver can just talk shit like "i got nothing and you can't prove it because 100% anon etc..."
2023  Economy / Economics / Re: Are central banks losing control? on: March 11, 2017, 07:29:49 AM
i'm still wondering how the bank can keep their "scammy game" active, with all the debt that is increasing each da while maitaining the same inflation...y, no wonder some of them ae moving to blockchain technology, they know their whole system will implode one day

Cryptocurrencies are vastly superior to typical fiat currencies, but they are nowhere near as convenient at the moment. It will take a long time until a bitcoin world appears. For example, if you wanted to pay for a beverage like a Coke with Bitcoin, as of now it would be take around 30 minutes for the transaction to be confirmed, not to mention having to input the restaurant's address. It is just much quicker to hand over a note and get your Coke instantly.

address are memorized in the client, you don't ned to imput it each time, just do it with a click, you can't tell me this is a pain to do, it can't be faster really

for small transaction like that many business are not waiting a single confirmation, you can do a offline transaction with them most of the time, the only problem remain the high fee, which can be $1 to pay for a cofee, which is stupid...
2024  Economy / Economics / Re: Finanacial System on: March 11, 2017, 07:26:17 AM
Freedom of spending money is what the principle of Bitcoin according to me :-) Everybody knows it is decentralized currency and no one has control over it which gives us freedom of spending it the way want in terms of its volume, time and anonymous nature. The fees are less and it takes fraction of time to process. No documents required, no signatures and physical identification as would be the case with real banks! This is what for Bitcoins are made and being adopted by many of us.  Wink

on the fee they are not that less, compared to most sepa processors, for example i need to pay zero fee with deutesche bank if i want to do a sepa to someone in europe, this make bitcoin far worse and not only for micro payment

the onyl advantage is the speed, bitcoin is still quickly than the relative 1 day time for a sepa for example, also debit card are always free when used to buy stuff, with bitcoin you ned to pay $0.5+ for everything you need to purchase..
2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the transaction fee will kill bitcoin? on: March 11, 2017, 07:03:20 AM
well, majority of people are only using bitcoin as an investment and for these the transaction fees aren't that important because they usually move around large amounts of bitcoin and it is not their payment so it has small number of inputs so size is not big and fee is small as a result.

and others who are using bitcoin as currency, want all the other benefits using bitcoin gives them such as privacy that don't care that much about current fees although everyone is pissed off right now. but if fees continue growing this way, soon this group will stop and we will see a big hit on bitcoin.

unless they are using many wallet, their transaction fee will be very high with a wallet that contain many transaction and many address, until they add a way to choose which address to use to send the payment

you can't really contorl the way imput and output affect your size of transaction, and moving large amount of coin will do nothing to prevent this...
2026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoins is now same as paypal(and worst) on: March 11, 2017, 06:59:12 AM
think about this, if people are willing to pay for the harmful fee that come with paypal, western union etc... then they can certainly go above the current fee for bitcoin

they are still very far away from being called crazy fee, even with big transaction you are looking to pay $1, this is hardly expensive, paypal will charge you more on average

2027  Economy / Speculation / Re: from 1200 to 1350 took only 4 minutes and still rising on: March 11, 2017, 06:50:30 AM
The title is about OP's excitement and being happy seeing Bitcoin rising to $1350 in just 4 minutes before the SEC decision on ETF.  Now that SEC rejected ETF, price is crashing.  There will be lots of BTC sells now that the other part of the world is awake Smiley Expect less than $1k  BTC for the next days.  But I am sure it will recover soon after ETF disapproval effect is gone.
Still this sitution seems more like an excuse to dump than the real reason. It is like traders wanted to sell and waited for the best opportunity.
ETF approval odds were said to be less than 25% we shouldn't be disappointed by SEC's decision.
I just hope this drop will help price to consolidate price and we move forward from there. Wait it out, guys.

it was only being like that, i mean there is no real reason for them to dump just because it was rejected, i bet my ass that many traders don't even care about the EFT, only few would trade there

therefore they just ride the bad news to cause panic dump and buy chep coins, still we are above $1k, $1200-1300 was never stable anyway went to fast there
2028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ETF Rejected on: March 11, 2017, 06:47:58 AM
Well, when ETF rejected because they said that bitcoin is still too early, it makes little change in prices will be lower. I hope, it does not really give the effect of the price decrease. one day they would approve bitcoin.

what i heard is not that, they said basically that exchange are not ready because they are not well regulated to protect money of citizen corretly, if they want to use them

for this reeason they refused the acceptance of bitcoin, i always said that for the government it's all about regulation, without that nothing will be done, bitcoin need to be regulated like fiat if we want worldwide adoption
2029  Economy / Speculation / Re: COIN ETF denied by SEC on: March 10, 2017, 10:10:04 PM
How its possible that kraken show other value then the other sites??

Kraken is €1025

i see that value almost everywhere, preev report the same thing, and anyway what i can only see now is cheap coin for everyone, for this reason i doubt the bottom is below 1000

there are high chance to return to the previous point very quickly

2031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [IMX] IMPACT | NO PREMINE | POW/POS | X11 ALGO | LAUNCH FAILED | RE-LAUNCH SOON| on: March 10, 2017, 09:14:25 PM
NOOO you can't do this. I was a millionaire... for a few minutes  Sad

i know how you feel, i instamined something like 21M
2032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [IMX] IMPACT | NO PREMINE | POW/POS | X11 ALGO | FAIR LAUNCH IN 60 MINUTES| on: March 10, 2017, 08:13:13 PM
SOLO MINING GUIDE:

CPU:
- Download wallet from the links in the op (after launch :-) )
- Create folder: %appdata/impact/
- Create impact.conf (check you have the right extension and not .txt -> go to folder options, show extensions)
- Paste this info in impact.conf:
Code:
rpcuser=rpc_user
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=22555
listen=1
server=1

- Save and run wallet. Wait a few seconds/minutes to let the wallet sync blockchain.

Type this command to start mining. In your wallet´s console.

setgenerate true -1

If you want to use a specific number of CPU cores, instead of -1, type the number of cores.

If you will follow all the steps. You are soloming with your cpu directly in your wallet.

GPU
:
- Download CUDA Miner - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.0
- Create a impact.bat in you cuda folder with this info:
Code:
cudaminer.exe -o http://127.0.0.1:22555 -u rpc_user -p password
- Save and launch impact.bat, while wallet is running.
- Congratulations. You are mining with GPU directly to your wallet.

Launch in 15 minutes. One pool operator cantacted me. I hope he will run pool for IMX.

Are you really telling people to CPU (let alone GPU) mine an ASIC algo?

x11 asic can't mine without pool, they can't solo mine, suggesting cpu mining remain stupid though...
2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.0 - opensource (tpruvot) on: March 10, 2017, 05:33:49 PM
no one is trolling i see only hating here and useless ignore button for no reason

i'm just reporting some possible optimization on algorithm, if you don't want to take a look at it fine, but don't say that i'm trolling when it isn't true...
2034  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] GPUS on: March 10, 2017, 05:15:54 PM
i'm interested in some 1070 superjetstream if you can do a good price like 400 euro no more, which is 60 euro cheaper than amazon
2035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.0 - opensource (tpruvot) on: March 10, 2017, 04:59:25 PM
I wonder if tpruvot could update ccminer x11gost from alexis78 fork, it is 30% faster,
it would be nice to see added equalish algo to ccminer too (maybe from nicehash/nheqminer)

yeah and there is a guy running a 50% faster blake2s, it can definitely by added that too
2036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HI] HempInternational | Lyra2REv2 PoW | PoS 3.0 | Fair Launch on: March 10, 2017, 01:01:32 PM
Based on the current mining diff and hash rental cost , current price for one HI is about 100 sat Smiley I think that in a few days when mining will end, the price will increase at least twice  Wink

should reach 1k to be honest based on the marketcap
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: March 10, 2017, 11:50:04 AM
Wolf0's miner does 780kh on the 750ti

then 2500 is possible on the 1070 with heavy optimization

i'm very interested if you can pull it off
2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: March 10, 2017, 11:22:35 AM
I think I will make a Boolberry (XBB) windows miner this weekend. Anybody instested?

the only question is, is it profitable?

0.012 with a rig, not bad, i could be interested if you can reach 2MH per 1070 at least or more, currently i can do 1.7MH
2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: March 10, 2017, 11:11:34 AM
it doesn't matter how much the price go high, the diff will kill it
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OC] ONECOIN | NO PREMINE | FAIR LAUNCH | SHA256 TRIPLE on: March 10, 2017, 09:05:11 AM
what is wrong?

sgminer.exe -k sha256t -o stratum+tcp://oc.suprnova.cc:8588 -u user.worker -p x -I 21 -w 64 -g 2
Invalid parameter to set_kernel

Are you using the sgminer that was coded specifically for (oc) onecoin?
Because it sounds like your miner doesn't support sha256t.
https://github.com/bitbandi/sgminer-oc

can anyone please tell me the bat file for nividia cards using ccminer 1.2  thanks

You have to use the latest one ccminer 2.0
https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases

.bat file

ccminer-x64 -a sha256t -o stratum+tcp://oc.suprnova.cc:8588 -u username.workername -p password
pause
excavator (closed source) is faster for me (GTX1070)
File: http://nicehash.com/tools/excavator_v1.1.1a_Win64.zip
bat: excavator.exe -a sha256t -s pool.mn:2947 -u Joffer.oc:x -ca

is the 1.1.1 version faster versus the 1.1.0?
