1201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: May 28, 2017, 07:40:17 AM
as I said before many times alexis work is much better in all algo's. no need to buy private shit. Exception can be in newer algo's that alexis miner doesn't have

i agree on this minus on spreadcoin, i think sp did a very good job on spreadcoin, my 1080ti can do 15MH and a 1070 can do 9.5MH, no other miner is that fast

Just to make things clear regarding spreadcoin and because if you repeat a lie too many times it eventually becomes a truth.

He simply copy pasted the methods which driven all X algos to a 30-40% boost on maxwell, which methods are available on my public repo.
Then... he re-sold them, even to his old buyers Tongue

i didn't know this, maybe you can boost even more those algo then?
1202  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: May 28, 2017, 07:35:29 AM
Bitcoin can reduce the number of unemployment and will bring a tremendous increase of self-employed individuals who are earning from online business such as trading and other investments. In my country domestic mothers have now a source of income and that is through the use of bitcoin, they are earning income through investments, trading and online jobs.

i don't think so, the opposite it's true, bitcoin will increase unemployment , beacuse bitcoin is going to destroy bank if will be adopted globally in the future, this will cause more people to lose their job as the blockchain will replace slowly clusted servers

and the peoiple working at these bank nowadays would be useless, it's not different thean the AI, bitcoin go very well with the AI project and deep learnign that will eventually make robot substitute human at their work
1203  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN HALVING? on: May 28, 2017, 07:32:47 AM
the next halving is scheduled in 2020, probably early than the date of the one in 2016, the value will likely increase like it happened with this last halving

even so people were saying otherwise the value did increase after the halving, and it's partially the reason of this last pump, the value just increase with a delay, not exactly the same date

it's better if youbuy before the halving most of the time yes
1204  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do i have to pay tax on bitcoins ? on: May 28, 2017, 05:46:25 AM
Maybe you guys don't have an income tax?  In the US "they" don't calculate my tax.  It is up to the me to report all my income, calculate how much tax I owe and then pay it.  "They" give us all the forms to fill out but it is up to us to fill out the forms.  How they track your income for tax evasion charges is up to the government.  They have many ways to do this.  Sure you can evade paying the taxes until you get caught.
Perhaps this is part of the confusion? I know many (most?) countries do the calculations and hand over a bill to the taxpayer. In the U.S. we have an unusual system that has the taxpayer prepare their own return. So if you are not used to doing your own taxes it could get quite complicated.

we don't calculate tax we just report our income per year here in italy, you can delcare the false, yes but they are going to check if what you claim is correct or not and if not you are in trouble of course

they calculate the tax based on the income you have, on your job, if you have family, and many other stuff, there rules are different case by case, i think it's the same in usa or sligthly different

still under a certain threshold they don't care, like if you receive 5k only per year, assuming this is true of course, they don't bother taxing you on this, you can ignore and don't claim anything in that document
1205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed transactions for 3 days now on: May 28, 2017, 05:39:58 AM
here's my return, unconfirmed transaction for 12 days already and no sign of confirmation 92690b02403237b8681b7e9804fddb6e82f6ebcdde68cf355673f184449e6d81

i sent it 16 of may, at this point i think it will never be confirmed, yeah i know the fee was way below but still not so low to take all this time, weird
1206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy 1 Bitcoin on: May 28, 2017, 05:35:39 AM
i think the point he was making with that statement is that if everyone start to buy one bitcoin, we will eventually reach the point where the value will increase drastically

because not everyone can actually buy 1 bitcoin, but only a fraction of it, and the more the amount is spread among people in the world the more the value will be higher

still 30 years is too much of a prediction, i'm more in line with the satoshi prediction, by 2030 bitcoin will have proper adoption and the highest value already
1207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first bitcoin bank! on: May 28, 2017, 05:32:15 AM
a bitcoin bank seems like an oxymoron to me. those two dont belong together at all.

i can't see why not, if a bank can offer insurance and good interests on deposit like they do on fiat, it will be only good for the average joe that don't want to hold their bitcoin in their computer and risking a ransomware or other shit

i believe bitcoin are good to increase adoption in the future, or accelerate the already one that is established

1210  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Investment (5-20k$) on: May 27, 2017, 08:11:52 AM
Not sure what you mean exactly, but what I got from it, please confirm this is what you mean:

You will get 5-20k soon and want to invest money into mining to make extra money?
mining or  some sugestions.
Also how much i could get from mining with 5-20k$ hardware

with that investement you could buy roughly up to 20 antminer s9 which would lead to 0.0059 x 20 a day in profit, around 0.12 btc or nearly $300 usd, roi would be 2-3 months, which is really good

but only if you have cheap electricity otherwise would take much longer
Where are you buying antminer s9 for $1k???

at their website it's priced at around $1k https://shop.bitmain.com/, well it's sold out now, i think it was a promo or a previous batch but at 1161 usd it's very cheap and roi is fast enough
1211  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin Attorney Will Answer All Questions: on: May 27, 2017, 07:58:48 AM
i have another question regarding minig, what is considerer a business activity, there is a threshold to overcome to make your activity a business level one?

for example there must be a difference between someone running a RIG for mining and someone else running a 10-100 rig farm, the first one as i see it should not be considered a business operation right?

otherwise buy this logic everyone with a gpu is someone running a business activity because he can mine and generate an income, and it doesn't make any sense...
1212  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: bitcoin legal vs illegal ??? on: May 27, 2017, 07:55:10 AM
Hello Smiley this is the first time I come here, I don't know much about Bitcoin, do you know where can I fond some information about Bitcoin in Spanish. I'd like to use this system to pay to the users from my webpage www.juegoskids.com. 6 months ago I paid to the users with Paypal, but I'd like to pay with Bitcoin from now on.

probably not regulated like in other country of europe, for european country there is the central bank that decide everything, and besides being exempt from vat they say nothing else

you can go ahead and use without issue, just report your capital gain when you do the claiming every year
1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the min. BTC amount to own that will make you rich one day? on: May 27, 2017, 05:47:12 AM
right now you need 1k bitcoin to be called rich, but i guess the range 10-100 is okish for the future if bitcoin really go big with adoption

I hope 1 bitcoin can be enough

i really doubt this, at least 10 are needed if we believe that one day bitcoin can go to 100k, my meaning of rich is having 1M at least

and i can't see how bitcoin can go to 1M any time soon, and if it happen after we, here are all died, it's pointless

Unfortunately, the question seems incomplete. What do you mean by rich? Even someone who is having a net worth of $10,000 can claim that he is rich. There are so many definitions, and you need to use a standard one. OK.. I will tell mine. For me, anyone with a net worth of over $1,000,000 can be termed as rich. Right now, that is almost BTC400, but I hope in the near future BTC100 may be enough.

if he can't buy an house or an expensive car he is not rich, with 10k you can0t do anything, but if he is already in a good state and he don't need more money 10k is more than enough i guess
1214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small fortune, now which country ? on: May 27, 2017, 05:43:41 AM
if you have a good fortune in bitcoin, what about going in a country that see bitcoin like a currency? japan australia they are regulating pretty well bitcoin, you can try to live there, japan is a wonderful place

it's not tax free, but if you have a fortune you should not be worried about tax, the good thing is that you can get rid of fiat there

Guys, i made a small fortune in altcoin/bitcoin. In which country should i settle ?
I have no wife, no kids, just a girlfriend, iŽm free to go wherever i want (sheŽll go with me).
But it has to be a bitcoin-friendly country.
I have no intention to buy lambos, just a peaceful life.
Thanks.

Oh, and my age is 53, that makes a difference too.

Italy or Spain. The weather is good. Europe in general is Bitcoin friendly.
If you retire to the country side, you can lead a peaceful life.

European Union Bitcoin friendly. Foooooooorget about it.

they are more friendly than USA, at least vat is not payed with bitcoin, and there is no regulation, which mean that is also tax free in some  european country
1215  Other / Off-topic / Re: Better bitcoin strategy on: May 27, 2017, 05:39:04 AM
mining is the best one still even after the recent big dump on all the altcoin, there is too much profit to be made it's not even funny anymore

to give you an idea a single gpu is doing $200 a month, which is crazy, other option you mentioned are either dangerous like trading or not profitable and a waste of time like with faucets
1216  Economy / Speculation / Re: what happened for the market? on: May 27, 2017, 05:37:21 AM
we are definitely between denial and delusional in that chart, this pump was going to happen at some point, and it happened now because above $2k the value increase too fast

i still don't care about this swings, the price will recover in the end, it was always the case in the past, still we are with a very high value compared to what we had before

people are really greedy i remember when they were aiming at $2k, and now that we went above they want to be already at a stable value way above $2k...
1217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.14.1 Released on: May 26, 2017, 01:31:21 PM
so i'm struggling to get my coins back, there anything that i can do to reverse the transaction and send it again with proper fee? i tried with abandon but it don't work

i need something like -zapwallettxes but that work with prune mode, i can't redownload the entire blockchain now, because i have no space currently i have some games installed
1218  Economy / Economics / Re: why all coins is much more expensive in korea on: May 26, 2017, 08:05:11 AM
you should check first if those exchange don't have some issue, like deposit issue, coin being stuck, problem with their bank, usually when the price is higher either you can't get coins out of the exchange or you can not deposit

this happened at bitfinex for example, maybe it's not the case here but you need to see this first, or it could be that there are some restriction or heavy delay on payment, i doubt investors are so retarded to pay 2x higher...
1219  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Avalon pursuing 7nm technology on: May 26, 2017, 08:01:00 AM
Maybe late 2018 for release.

No need for better gear with coins at 2600.

well the diff is catching up quickly, and the consumption too, that $2600 per coin won't last even a year if no new gear will be released

still you have to factor dump and everything else that could happen, i think it's time to release by the end of this year a new product with better efficiency

I'd bet late 2019 at the EARLIEST - even AMD isn't talking 2018 for 7nm and they are one of the 2 PRIMARY customers for GF.

 More likely 2020.

Can't build miners on a node that is still in the "experimental testing" stage.

they might release a 10 nm first, and then in 2020 as you said 7nm, waiting until 2020 to release something new is really a suicide, with the current difficulty trend
