I sent personal message to everyone about the PayCon update Smiley
2042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Experiment 10k | HARD FORK TO SLOW DOWN INFLATION | UPDATE IMMEDIATELY on: March 15, 2015, 10:59:25 AM
lol, so many experiment 10k's out there

I would be curious to see the graph of 10K inflation and how it relates to the minimum Stake and Block times.

I don't think it's a good idea to ask for your Coins to be delisted, it would make it harder later on to get them relisted and polo is a big market you would be losing.

Why not create a platform for Litecoin ala Counterparty?

What does counterparty actually do? I haven't really looked into it that much.

All your questions will be answered in this thread..  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395761.0

Ok, I checked out it's wallet but the assets are confusing, there's like no volume and all the Coins are unknown except for maidsafe, how could it be helpful for litecoin? It seems like it's just naming a group of Coins???

PayCon [CON] - Proof of CON https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=937480.0

Proof of Stake only and all Blocks are worth 30 Coins each plus fees.
2046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: March 15, 2015, 05:24:51 AM
I think Litecoin was bound to hit it's cost true cost of mining just as Bitcoin hit it's cost of mining. I can't see Litecoin not existing anytime soon and gets a lot of use, in fact people should use Litecoin some more as it adds more fluidity to the market.
2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Paycon soon overtake Bitcoin ? on: March 15, 2015, 05:11:37 AM
I don't think paycoin will overtake bitcoin because paycoin is developed by GAWminers, which is closing a crypro coin exchange coin-swap recently. Other than that the XPY prices is dropping a lot since its launch. Ay last, I want to state out that the title is wrong! (You wrote 'Will Paycon soon overtake Bitcoin')

PayCon is a real Coin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=937480.0
In the OP he said Paycoin...
So where do you think will Paycoin go ? Tell me your price predictions.

lol I noticed that too, I guess people won't be sure who they are voting for then.

whats the stake rate?

Proof of Stake only, 30 Coins per Block, Fees are included in the Blocks

You can check Statistics to view the money supply and you can even get some inflation information using your RPC console and typing "moneysupply"

1 minute Block time
2 days min age
14 days max age

The size of your Blocks determine how soon you will Stake, typically a Block of 500 Coins would Stake after 3-4 days at current difficulty but if you have 50,000 Coins in one Block it would Stake at the minimum age but you would still get 30 Coins.
2050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Paycon soon overtake Bitcoin ? on: March 15, 2015, 04:38:15 AM
people will use bitcoin even if paycoin overtakes it...because peoples are addicted to this coin..ane many shops, sites, products are accepting bitcoin

Bitcoin is like the dollar and Altcoins are like the cents, I think Bitcoin will continue to exist for a very long time but as Cryptocurrencies grow there will be more than just Bitcoin, Bitcoin doesn't have the fluidity for the market alone, as Coins become more secure and entrenched in the marketplace there will be many options of being able to buy and sell different Coins for local currencies with a few dominant Coins that serve as the volume across all Coins. All a Coin really needs to survive is that it's only rewarding for the holders and not super inflationary, at really low marketcaps you could even back the entire amount of a Coin with real assets, there are a lot of possibilities, there doesn't have to be just one Coin or even to try to overtake Bitcoin in order to succeed.
2051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Paycon soon overtake Bitcoin ? on: March 15, 2015, 04:26:41 AM
Its an altcoin 7 months in the making.Had our ICO last week sold out.www.mue.org will start you off.

oops, wasn't sure if you wanted that there or not, yeah I'll check it out.

Thanks mate always like to buy a few 1000s of a decent alt in case it works out

No worries, always a risk when working with money and alts but I think it could do well and make some money and it holds well.

You should look into how the Staking works, it's not really like normal Proof of Stake Coins
2053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Paycon soon overtake Bitcoin ? on: March 15, 2015, 04:09:41 AM

Having trouble downloading the windows wallet. It downloads but when you open it windows says error

What is the error you are getting?

Just says windows has found an error in the download and will not carry on

Do you have a picture? that would be more useful in understanding where the problem is.

2056  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 15, 2015, 03:38:51 AM

PayCon is about 51% on topic here so we can let them slide with some spam once in a while Grin

I have a lot of respect for the work you guys are doing and PayCon is the act of defiance, to serve as proof that something better can be made with nothing but hard work and a small amount of money. The cashtakers dump more on the market in a single day than the entire marketcap of PayCon and all money ever invested in Development and Marketing. It cannot be said that something better could not be done for less or that it takes millions of ICO money to make a good Coin, this IS the proof.

I don't really want to clog up your topic with a lot of useless posts though, just a few are good enough to hit home the point and promote a little Smiley
2057  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 15, 2015, 03:11:13 AM

lol, all these developers say they don't want to promote and shill except that you should be shamelessly promoting the stuff you are working on otherwise how are you going to get people interested? PayCon says isn't denying it was built off open source code and already has more features and development than 99.99% of all Coins and actually solves a lot of problems inherent in nearly all Coins.....
2058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon POS Only - [Mandatory/Feature Upgrade!! ] - Get your CON on!! on: March 15, 2015, 02:56:43 AM
PayCon getting better and better Wink

IŽll keep supporting and buying. Hell, i wasted so much money in cloudmining (thx LTCGear) now i`m more wise.

Keep buying my coins directly and support a good coin is the way to go for me.

I'd still like to grab some more PayCon when I can as well, still some more things I would like to add such as improvements to the Proof of Stake hashing, replace Stake for Charity with Multi-send, faster syncing for new users, and get more into the full anonymity, increasing the security of the network.

For me the glitz and glamour of a beautiful wallet is not as important as it's functionality and rewards, adding a new background and that would not be too hard but I think early on that it's not really that important when you can use some nice icons and images to get the same result.

Now we should really push Poloniex to add PayCon, there is no denying that CON gets the job done and is being developed at breakneck speed.

As for use of PayCon, we'll need to get an android wallet done at some point so we can host a PayCon CONvention, we could presale tickets for PayCon and cash/BTC, and get some DJ's, smoke machines, laser light shows, burlesque dancers, and sell drinks for PayCon, "Y U no" buttons, t-shirts and masks, and I could even prepare a fine dining menu as I work as a chef by trade in a high class restaurant Smiley

Hell, I even know some people that throw the most wicked parties and just taking some CON for it would boost price along with revenue generated from the event itself.
2059  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 15, 2015, 02:41:57 AM
I will have to discuss terms with my agent for any material they wish to use.  Roll Eyes

Why buy PayCoin for a ridiculously expensive price when PayCon is 100X better than PayCoin and has cost less than $500 to make including all Development and Marketing in the entire life of PayCon.

Have a PayCoin CashTaker giving you trouble? in PayCon everyone gets 350% per year, plus the network Fees

Tired of Hyper-Inflation driving PayCoin to 0? PayCon pays 30 CON every POS Block which gives it a steady rate of inflation per year

Sick of devs promising the world and delivering nothing? PayCon promises nothing and has delivered over 30 groundbreaking commits with the recent addition of more than a dozen new features, ahead of schedule with multiple skilled developers backing the Coin.

Tired of ICO? PayCon has been built from the ground up with a fair launch, no ICO/IPO and a ridiculously small market cap of less than 10k USD

Posting on HashTalk but not sure if your opinion is being heard? PayCon is completely unmoderated and uncensored

They tried the worst and we made the best, why settle when you can CON with the rest?

Paycon [CON] - We Don't Deny It.

March 14, 2015
Mandatory Update/New features

Along with CON for charity comes nearly a dozen RPC calls (help items), some new icons, Y U no guy added back to the statistics page, better Stake time estimation, sorting of transactions by weight in Coin Control, checkwallet and repairwallet added to tools, ability to set your own Stake split thresholds, increased minimum Fee to 0.05 Coins per transaction/combine. This is a softfork where the new fees will be effective immediately but lower fees will begin to take longer to process until old clients are rejected from the network 03/23/2015 @ 12:00am (UTC)

All fees are paid to Stakers which increases the Proof of Stake Block rewards

CONdate

I need to raise 0.7 btc immediately for a large update, if I can gather the amount by Friday, it will be finished by Sunday. Some people just add 1 feature, I've got 10 and need to recoup costs spent on bringing you the best crypto currency and industry leading technology. There was no ICO and I took over this project, please help support me financially so that I can continue building you a for-profit, multi-million dollar asset.

RPC calls (command line help items)

getmoneysupply (nHeight)  - view the money supply by blockheight
moneysupply - view money supply growth information.
setstakesplitthreshold -  set your stake split threshold and gain more stake
getstakesplitthreshold -  view your threshold limit
addnode - add nodes on the command line
getaddednodeinfo - information about added nodes
rescanfromblock (nheight)  - rescan backups from a certain height
deleteaddress - delete old addresses
stakeforcharity - Set a percent of your stake to be sent automatically to any address

Bug fixes and improvements

Gui Features for CON for Charity
Checkwallet and Repairwallet added to tools along with orphan removal
Added blocks by weight to coin control
Better stake estimation
Fix of volume in statistics to read as accurate money supply
Windows and Mac wallet rebuilds

Minimum fee will be increased to 0.05 Coins per transaction and this will require a hardfork. This change will make it comparatively expensive to send and all fees are paid to Stakers which increases the Proof of Stake Block rewards.

While PayCoin is struggling to fix their checkpoint and syncing problems, PayCon has no Syncing and checkpoint problems and has provided more real and useful updates, ahead of schedule, for pennies on the dollar Smiley
