2044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero pumpers = dnm owner? on: October 26, 2016, 05:24:18 PM
what do you think?
are the monero pumpers the owners of the darknet markets that accept monero?

or even monero devs are dnm devs too?

I'm npot sure but monero graphs are so clean and cut. I'm very sure the devs and a few others are controlling that to a point of coarse. But this may be the secret to why it is such a strong coin. Love monero <3 xxx  Kiss
2045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cyber attack on: October 26, 2016, 05:20:04 PM
yeah, i remember one ddos coin being announced in ANN section.
dont know if it worked tho

That is very interesting. I think though that It is just an idea for now and only has small parts of it implemented .
Whether used for good or bad it is still a unique and clever idea and those we need.
2046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do altcoins sell for different prices? on: October 26, 2016, 05:16:19 PM
I’m new to altcoins. Just understanding what a Bitcoin is took me awhile. Now I’ve hit another wall. How can some altcoins, like DASH for example, sell for $10.00 and one like Vcash sell for $0.23? I don’t get it.

Is there some inherent market difference in what each altcoin is capable of or it is just a matter of who’s brand name sells the best? I mean if all altcoins are based on the original Bitcoin software, with slight changes, how can there be a such a large difference in price between them? Why can’t Bitcoin suffice to fill the needs of all money transactions around the world that these secondary altcoins do? Do we need them? Why?

Like I said, I'm new to this altcoin market. It makes no sense to me to have more than one altcoin than it does to have multiple currencies.
Explain . . .

Thanks
Woodford

Why does a stone on the floor cost nothing but a piece of gold worth alot ? Mining difficulty. Supply and demand. Google it. There more rare something is the more it is worth. I thought you would know this by now.
2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto for the illiterate. on: October 26, 2016, 05:05:40 PM
I got news for you OP... 75% of the American population is functionally illiterate.  Detroit is looking up!

Lol this killed me. You damn right !! I really hope a flood or some horrible natural disaster wipes them out.

Even illiterate people know how to operate laptops and mobiles and hence crypto can be used by them too. You don't need to be an expert in technology as even having the basic knowledge of how to own a crypto wallet and transferring coins can be suffice.

I don't think so....
2048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get altcoins by playing games on: October 26, 2016, 04:55:54 PM
Hi guys,

A few years ago it was HunterCoin i made a lot of money with this altcoin and at a moment MotorCoin.

My question is :

Is still there an altcoin that can be obtained by playing some games or smth like that?

Thanks Cheesy

Is it not still possible to make coin with huntercoin ? Why did you stop ?

I only heard of https://digibytegaming.com but I have zero experience with it.

You could play at digibyte.... On a server far from you with high ping and against bots and get an amazing 1k-2k satoshi worth of coins per hour.
2049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2016 and WHY on: October 26, 2016, 01:58:09 AM
I like the ones that are backed up by games like XMR and GP. Both are good coins with a very good market. High volume and actual uses for them.
I hope to see more and more games involve coins in their backing.
2050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is Dogecoin dying ? on: October 26, 2016, 01:55:39 AM
i have not been hearing much about dogecoin all these days,it seems to me that it popularity is gradually going down,am i right ?

I also agree. I don't know why though. The price has been going down too. The last time this happened I knew it was a good time to buy and it shot up to 60 before settling on around 40 for a very long time. Doge has always been worth 30-45 satoshi. This time though I'm very unsure what is going to happen.

Almost 400BTC invested and no one willing to buy more even lower then ICO. That's not a good sign!  Shocked

Price will rise when people actually start using JWL often in game.

The game should only use JWL ^^
How do I sell my things for JWL ? On the auction house ? ( if there is one ) I have asked someone this before but it got lost in the thread.

2053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Best Marijuana Coin? 'ii' on: October 26, 2016, 01:43:42 AM
I believe the main thing any of these coins need to do is give people a real reason to use them as an alternative to Bitcoin or any other coins.
For example, is your coin going to provide anonymous payments like Monero would?
How fast are your confirmation times, what are the mining rewards, what kind of network distribution do you have in comparison to Bitcoin?

Potcoin still has a lot of trading due to the hype and pump a couple weeks ago. Hopefully people stay interested in the project.

Yes and they need to actually be backed by real grow ops and real products that they sell. It should be like an investment in shares but you can then also use those shares to buy the product. This means that anyone who wants to buy the products needs to buy the coin first. You could also buy and hold coin like an investor then just sell to the next person that needs to buy something.
2054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1000% profit!? on: October 26, 2016, 01:37:54 AM
1000% profit is only x10. Many new coins regularly make investors x30 - x100.

When ETH got to $1bn marketcap, many made more than 1000% as they bought at under $1, but I don't think anything will beat the almighty BTC!

x30-x100 Huh ? What!? Where !? How !? I guess I have so much to learn then. But i see so many coins failing lately and just goind down and down and not up ever, so I'm not sure what you are talking about.
2055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: October 26, 2016, 01:35:04 AM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

The biggest thing is to actually like the coin you want to back. You need to enjoy it and you need to makes ure it has enough volume through backing in order to make your decision. The best bet is it look through the threads of coins and see what you like them read further into them. Ask people there about the coin or better yet ask the dev himself.
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Alt Coin on: October 26, 2016, 01:32:26 AM
I'm looking for Something big to invest in, and cant find anywhere to put my money into safely. Shout me some ideas, and I will be glad
to check them out. It can't be just some regular coin, it has to have purpose.
Thanks alot.

Instead of something big why not spread out your investments and start collecting some cheap altcoins and get ready to hold them.
You will lose some money but as long as you making more then you lose you good to go.
2057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any reason for the Synereo decline? on: October 26, 2016, 01:30:15 AM
Bitcoin has risen against the dollar, and all alts tend to decline when that happens. As for Synero - they've been promising to launch for ages, and never quite get round to doing it.

I have started to think for quite some time that maybe they won't launch at all Sad

It is not just Synereo alone. Look at the Poloniex market, many altcoins are dropping because people are selling them to hold bitcoin for the steady price increase.
Altcoins will get hit hard as the price of bitcoin increases day after day. Observe the market and you will find gems at cheap price in the market as this trend continues.

I think instead of selling if we hold on and buy up what they sell the price will rise again and we make a good profit, it will be slow but right now is probably the best time to get involved with some good altcoins.
2058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: October 26, 2016, 01:24:50 AM
Steal does seem to be falling apart lately Look at how much the value has dropped and it keeps plummeting.
It makes me wonder if it is still worth blogging there. How many feel the same ? Are you going to still blog or slow down a little or completely stop.
2059  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitcoinEarnner Earn Satoshi from our offers and surveys on: October 25, 2016, 06:24:36 PM
Most of these are nonesense and promise so many offers but when you finally get in you find like $0.10 offers per day or you fill them out and get rejected for some stupid reason. Or your country just doesn't support them. I still will give it a try though so maybe this is not like hte others I have nothing to lose. Oh and 100satoshi for refferals.... Just take away refferals because that is pointless.
2060  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: XCOINS.IO Automates the Process of Making Money with Bitcoin [OFFICIAL] on: October 25, 2016, 06:20:50 PM
15-30% -_-
Ya that is going to happen.
It is more like 1-3% which is alot as well.
Otherwise pm me and prove me wrong. Lets see some facts and figures here son.
I see no reason for you to just keep my bitcoin and I never see or hear from you again. How must I trust your website? Why should I ?
