As I said above, it could take months for the mempool to settle back down again. If you don't need to spend these outputs, then there's no rush.

Are you sure the mempool will settle down in the coming months? Also since we have halving in about a few months from now and the mining reward will be cut in half, will that have a positive or negative effect on the transactions fee? What happened to the Tx fee from prior halving to post halving?

I am asking this because if I intend to spend my funds in the bull market, it is better to wait or consolidate the inputs now  Huh
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 23, 2023, 05:37:50 AM
I have read a lot of gambling threads both here on the forum and in other forums. This makes me to draw the conclusion that most gamblers are either too lazy to read the Terms and Conditions (T&C,)or they don't just care about it. The results of which leads to misunderstandings and frustrations, often resulting in negative reviews and complaints that may not accurately represent the casino's practices.
It might be better for casino to begin rebuild their site and put that Terms and Conditions on top page. because we've seen it all this time the casino put their rule on bottom page, and sometime located in a close place which is invisible to the gambler eye. I don't know why, maybe the developer casino still create the unclear rule so the gambler may not have to read it, so if that something happens, the casino will take blame the gambler. With this situation, we can't just blame the gambler on one side, maybe the fault is also on the casino's side.

Well, the terms and conditions should remain at the bottom of the page of the casino, as gamblers are only required to read it once and it is not something that needs to be accessed every time the gambler visits the site. In case there is any change in the terms and conditions of the gambling casino, that should be displayed on top of the page or can be shown as an alert in the form of a pop-up message.

Gamblers themselves need to take the responsibility to read the terms and conditions themselves, rather than expecting from the gambling
sites to post those terms right on the top/middle of the page.
2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting on: September 23, 2023, 04:59:02 AM
If you are completely new then better visit most popular casinos out there since it will help you stay away from the scam sites out there. There are plenty of names such as Roobet, Stake, Duelbits, Primedice and much more in the bucket list. Visit their official ANN listed on the forum (in the current section) and you can get hang of it after reading in depth. You can also visit freebitcoin if your core focus is on sports betting. They have simple betting formula, simple UI and plenty of games to choose from. Always have a habit to read about their TOS though they are boring long text they can save yourself from complications in later part. Good luck mate.

Why only new gamblers , I suggest even if you are old experienced gamblers you should stick to these trusted websites that are also active on this forum and play / bet on whichever sites among these suits you the best. Sometime you will not find all the games to bet on , all all the sites so i prefer stake.com when i had to bet on any match.

Another thing you can compare between the sites is the odds they offer for the betting. Some sites give better odds than others, a careful analysis will let you choose the best one for you.

At one point run chase was looking straightforward task and Indian openers were going exceptionally well but after the first wicket partnership, it went in a different direction because of a mini collapse.

Still, plenty of batting left and the remaining target is moderate so it shouldn't be that tight contest but you never know, if Rahul thinking of taking this deep. Hope SKY goes into a bit of T-20 mode and scores some quick runs.
Yeah. Gaikwad and Gill were phenomenal together and they could prove to be a great opening pair more often in the future. Iyer's bad run continues while Rahul and Sky are doing well at the moment.

India pretty much won this match at this point since they still have Jadeja and Ashwin while the Australian bowling(Excluding Zampa and Cummins) has been average at best.

India showed that they are best at their home ground and no team should take the Indian team lightly. Chasing a score of 276 runs and making the opening partnership of 142 is just phenomenal. Can't expect a better start by the Indian openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill who both scored 70+ runs.

Last but not least, Mohammed Shami took 5 wickets in the match and was the player of the match. Indian team peaking at the right time, first winning the Asia Cup and now a win to start the series with Australia.
2045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 22, 2023, 12:26:15 PM
Hey gamblers' community, hope you're all doing great.
I wanted to convey my message here that gambling in front of our kids may put adverse effects on their growing minds and they may also take the wrong path and start gambling (either by asking you personally for funds or by stealing it in order to fulfill their gambling cravings).

I'm sharing this because I saw this issue with my kiddo who was once watching me gamble at a website playing blackjack and she started asking me more about the game. Then one day, she wanted to play it herself and asked me if she can go for it and I said "no, it's not your legal age to go for such games". So, it's better to keep our kiddos away from gambling and let them focus on their studies, else it'd actually ruin everything for the whole family if the kid takes the wrong path.

I agree. Children's minds are like sponges. But instead of soaking up water, they soak up experiences that they see from the actions of adults. Especially when it comes to actions of their parents. Gambling, drugs, alcohol, smoking, swearing and all bad character traits could become a permanent component of the childs personality, later on in life. This is because their brains are still growing, and the neural network is still forming. Anything that disturbs this process could end up permanently altering the child for the worse.

But then again, hiding the truth from the child to the extreme also does not work. If you pamper a child too much, they will grow up without necessary life skills, and something like that can be just as damaging to them, later in life.
I think it all boils down to the particular age of the child because I believe some kids have a level of understanding at some specific age while other are just like plain slate ready to be filled up with gibberish or meaningful habit depending on the particular one they are exposed to. And also environment also determines because there are some certain things you do as a father that you would be very cautious about because if the environment that your kids are exposed to.

Well, no matter the age of the kids is small or big, in both cases, the kids tend to have a keen observation of their parents and most of the habits they have adopted, is because they have seen their parents doing the same. So parents should realize that if they want their children to stay away from gambling, the parents need to stay away from gambling first.

For most people, this is a difficult task to quit gambling only for the sake of children. So the end result is that kids will be gambling once they enter their teenage.

India vs Australia
India have won the match and decided to bowl. Before the ODI World Cup this series is going to be a testing for both the teams. Already Mitchell Marsh wicket have fallen. Team India is playing under the captaincy of KL Rahul. Warner and Smith on the crease could develop good partnership as they're among the best pair for Australia. Team Australia have scored 27/1 at the end of 7 overs.

India won the match without any ball bowled  Grin , ok ok you wanna say India won the toss.  Pitch report says that batting will favor the batsmens and bowlers have to work hard that's why India elected to bowl first because chasing is easy in this pitch. A big hitter Marsh out earlier but Steven smith and warner leads to hundred score for Australia.

Australia lost three wickets and now test for middle order batsmens how they perform. Most of the time Australian first three batsmens scores big but today all three are goes to pavilion. I appreciate indian captain strategy, he always looking for wickets instead of defending score. Muhammad shami have been given chance to pick wickets after jadeja knocking warner and he did a well job by picking wicket of well set batsmen. 300 will be good score at current situation.

Australia is playing well considering they are playing their first match of the series and the conditions are new for them here.

Although Mitchell Marsh was out quickly but David Warner and Steven Smith gave some strength to the Australian scoreboard however both of them are out now and once again Australia has two new batsmen on the batting crease. I think Australia's middle and lower order will be tested in this match and it will be interesting to see how their batsmen perform in pressure.

Mohammed Shami looking good taking two wickets. Jasprit Bumrah bowled even better but he did not get any wickets yet.
2047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spins are also a demo in disguise? on: September 22, 2023, 06:37:13 AM
And we know that you have to deposit for wagering because that bonus really become yours, is free spin just another demo like free bonus? That's what I want to know, what is your own experiences like with free spins.
Due to the fact we need to reach some wagering amounts to claim free spins, I'm not into them, because I know it's a worthless risk to be taken. The reward just doesn't worth the risk of losing your money reaching the wagering requirements.

If it is free spins promotion where there is a requirement to make deposit first or later to wager the winning from the free spins, yes it does not worth the risk but if it is pure free spins without deposit requirement, it has no risk at all so it worth to take at least players can try their luck and try some other games on the site. That's the purpose of free spins bonus without deposit, giving players the chance to test the casino without any risk while there is also a chance to make money (if lucky) at the same time.

The catch with the 2nd method is that they will give you free spins without any deposit requirement. You lose the free spins, no one loses the money, not you nor the gambling casino.

In case you win, then the gambling sites will require you to deposit first before withdrawal. The withdrawals will have wagering requirements for your initial deposits. Once you try to wager your deposit, you lose all the deposit and the winning amount from free spins becomes unimportant as you already have lost your deposited money.
2048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are no KYC casinos taking risks? on: September 22, 2023, 03:45:08 AM
Do you think your casino can be regulated without the AML policy? The requirements says it's all, so is it possible that those casinos doing their no KYC stuffs are not even registered?
Casino needs a license to operate in specific country. How can casino be regulated without AML policy. that does not even make sense. Who will be controlling the money laundering? Unregistered casino meant illegal business to operate in specific countries.
KYC is a must to complete identity verification to prevent various criminal acts like money laundering. I have no problem with KYC for AML purpose.

It is not possible. A country that requires KYC as a minimum verification for casino users will ban or imprison operators who fail to comply.
It is caused by regulation is also needed not only in casino but in our life casino.

I think if anyone is running a casino where the KYC conditions are relaxed by the government, only then they may be able to run a non-KYC casino. However, it is hard to find such a government setup which will allow this.

Secondly, if someone is operating an online casino virtually and they are able to hide their identity, they may give you a non-KYC casino but those casinos are short lived and we cannot trust them for big money.

Running a non KYC is big risk for the gambling operators and also a small risk for those who are playing at those casinos.

Going into a big tournament with a couple of wins under your belt does give you some confidence but i think it's about testing the water.
Exactly this is a big tournament. And both teams are good in performance. In this tournament these two teams have two series ODI and T20. So they will play 3 ODI's and 5 T20 matches. At this time this little bit difficult to say who will win because both are good teams. So let's see and enjoy. And I hope Australia will perform well and will win both of the series.

Today is a big match between the two favourite teams of the upcoming world cup. Before the World Cup, this series between the two teams will be a treat to watch.

All the action is set to take place at Mohali today. When you know the match is going to be held in India, you can very well understand the atmosphere in the crowd will be enthusiastic.

As usual, before the match, it's worth checking the odds.
Believe me or not, even the bookies aren't sure who will win today's match. The odds are pretty equal for both teams.

2050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 22, 2023, 02:48:57 AM

What other negative reviews do gamblers give to casinos when they fail to familiarize themselves with the T&C of the casino?
They would definitely be having that main impression that they had been scammed on the time that they would be experiencing some issues specially when things being locked up like withdrawals on which
if ever they havent been able to read up sites terms and conditions then they would really be having that impression that they had been cheated or simply it was intentional and on the time where proofs
and evidences had been shown or provided then this is where they would be looking to themselves acts as clowns.

So the issue was not with the gambling sites but with the understanding of the gambler, not reading the terms and conditions thoroughly. Later when some unexpected happens with those gamblers regarding game play or deposits/ withdrawals it becomes a headache not only for the gambler but also for the gambling site to defend themselves that they are right.

How many times we have seen reputable casino has to clarify the scam accusations raised against them, in which the total problem is at the gambler's end but they falsely try to defame the casino for not providing the services they expected from them?
2051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Do you think Satoshi Would Think About Today's Bitcoin? on: September 21, 2023, 06:59:27 PM
I don't think he'll be too happy with etf's, or with people storing their BTC's in centralized exchanges, but on the other hand he made BTC free, permissionless and censorship resistant, so who can tell another what to do with their coins? What matters is that BTC is doing what it was created for, it is p2p electronic cash and anyone can use it for that anytime they want to. I don't think we should be too concerned about what Satoshi would think about BTC right now, but just use your coins however you wish to do so.

And above all, he may be upset as he would have thought that bitcoin would have been used as a primary currency or as a medium of exchange but it is most used as a store of value.

So, he would be happy seeing all the centralized exchange control of the bitcoin, all these whale manipulations and also these big pump and dump of the market. Also, he wouldn't have dreamed that the altcoins would find a place inside the crypto world where 95% of them are built only to get people's wealth and give them losses.
2052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Sites and Bug/Exploit Reporting and Rewards. on: September 21, 2023, 05:33:57 PM
IDK if it was the OP but I saw a thread last time which the user said that the his bug reports are only being ignored by the casino. We are not sure if they do, or maybe they already take note of the message and fixed it, but the user must be compensated.

There can be a number of reasons why the gambling site may ignore any bug reported by the user. Because they have no clue how to fix that bug, they can ignore the site bug. Sometimes the gambling site won't even start a big bounty, because they do not want to make their shortcomings public or have no resources/skills to fix them.

Regarding the reward to the user who reported the bug, if he reported voluntarily, the gambling sites are not bound to pay him.

The question arises for how long will you be able to keep your children away from gambling when you yourself are involved in gambling?

You may convince small Children that these things are not for your age but when they see their father daily spending time on gambling, the curiosity of the child keeps increasing. One day he or she will start playing and there is no way we can stop the children. if we want our children not to gamble, we need to end or limit our own gambling activities.
2054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: September 21, 2023, 03:57:00 PM

Cockfight emerged from one corner of the world and now it is spread all around the world. No part of the world is left, whether it is USA, Canada, United Kingdom or European Countries. What differ is the legal status and the importance it have got among the people. This is much followed by the Philippines people. Every region of the country have got arenas for cockfight. It is the country where big money is being circulated on betting over the roosters. In Philippines there are platforms that are dedicatedly operating to broadcast live fights and provide access for betting. Cockfight can be found to be legal in most of the Asian countries whereas in African countries it is very limited to two or three countries.
In the Philippines you can see many cock arena which is we all know that Philippines has a traditional celebration which every festival there's a cockfighting in arena and there's a big amount of money once you will win but it's hard to win once you don't have a conditioned an well trained cock cause some of the opponent you have is that a very know or big-time cock gambler.

This is a cruel sport and I don't even like watching it, betting on it is just out of question.

Cockfighting is now only a traditional sport and it is only being played at locations where it has a heritage history. Most of the time we will see that cockfighting is popular in rural areas or sometimes of villages where this sport has a tradition. Maybe this is the reason that we do not see any betting available for it on global betting sites. However i do not know if Philippines local betting sites includes betting on this sports or there may be offline bookies who arrange the bet on this sports.

The first ODI match between Bangladesh and New Zealand was abandoned due to all calculations due to excessive rain. Today, Bangladesh was ahead of New Zealand, so the abandonment of this match today must be a bit of a pain for Bangladesh. Rain caused problems a few times

We have experienced a lot of matches being abandoned by rain recently and this has recently ruined some of the matches which could really turned out to be interesting if there had been no rain. Recent Asia Cup matches were also affected by the rain. I hope we do not face such a situation in the World Cup, as it is also being held in the Asia region.

This match could turned out to be a close one if we had the full 50-over match as Bangladesh were really bowling well. Hard luck to them as they could not play the match and the match resulted in a draw.

The next two matches will be at the same venue, Mirpur Bangladesh and I hope we see better weather on September 23 and 26, the match days.
2056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting significant amount on: September 21, 2023, 02:44:21 PM
I always bet all-in which is my remaining bankroll that is significant amount for me on a 25% win chance rate bet on dice game. My heart palpitates during this bet and I really love the intense feeling. Most of the time I lose on this but it's really worth it if I win since I recover my original bankroll plus sweet profit of 20% of my bankroll.

You said that most of the time you lose this aggressive gameplay but you win few times and recover your losses. I want to ask what is your overall experience. Are you able to recover all your losses from the few wins or do you still remain in loss even after winning a significant betting amount?

The formula which you have told is mainly for those who have extra money and losing the money through aggressive betting does not matter then much. Most of the gamblers may take such a risk but if they lose, it really becomes hard for them to try this again and again.
2057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 21, 2023, 02:10:10 PM
In Bangladesh vs New Zealand 1st ODI match today New Zealand team came to bat and scored 136 runs in 33.4 overs.Bangladesh team started with good bowling performance. But the match is stopped due to rain.Hopefully rain will end the game soon.  The two teams will start again. New Zealand team is under a lot of pressure with the loss of 5 wickets so far. Finn Allen of New Zealand team is out for 9 runs from 20 balls. Will Young is out for 58 runs from 91 balls. Henry Nicholls is out for 44 runs from 57 balls.  On the other hand Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh team has started performing very well. Mustafizur Rahman has taken 3 wickets with 27 runs in 7 overs. Nasum Ahmed has taken 2 wickets in 8 overs with 21 runs.

When you see that New Zealand scored only 136 runs in approx. 33 overs with 5 wickets down, you would immediately call it a bad start from the New Zealand team. Remember New Zealand team was the finalist in the Last ODI World Cup and their performance before the start of the World Cup is questionable  Huh

Although this match is delayed by rain and we do not know if we could be able to finish this match or not, but believe me, if there was no rain interruption, Bangladesh would have fancied their chances of winning this one.
2058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: September 21, 2023, 01:49:06 PM
Yeah, many families have been destroyed because of gambling, where the head of the family basically gambled all their money away, leaving the family with nothing.
Incidents like this have happened a lot even before online casinos developed there were already lots of similar cases and what worse they actually dared to take risks by borrowing money from owners or loan sharks in traditional casinos.
It's a shame that many families are destroyed because of gambling and what is really worrying is that a child when his father becomes a crazy gambling addict then he forgets his duties as a father and responsibility as the backbone of the family who needs to provide education, guidance and finances for children but instead prioritize gambling.

When a gambler who dares to take the risk of borrowing large amounts of money just to gamble is the beginning of his addiction and this will be very bad when a regular gambler tries to get a loan to gamble and becomes addicted because he loses all his borrowed money after that he tries to pursue it in any way possible while The pressure of having to pay back borrowed money is one of the causes of gambling addicts becoming crazier about stealing or robbing, even worse, borrowing again in large amounts to catch up on any losses.
This problem is the downfall of a gambling addict who is determined to fulfill his addiction and most addicts who have started to take this bad step will usually end their life and go far away and move to another city.

When you borrow money and then again put all that money into gambling, this means that you are totally addicted to gambling and you are too desperate to win.

I have never seen such a gambler win anything that could help him return the loan and at the same time get any money for this profits too. The gambler will usually lose all the borrowed money too and now he would be helpless as he has to repay the loan as well. Such a bad financial situation will lead to suicide and other social evils.

I wish, somehow gambling addiction could be eliminated from society.
2059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 20, 2023, 11:36:12 PM
I think for many women some of the few reasons they go into gambling, is that gambling provides them with the opportunity to be sociable and enjoy time with friends and also use it to escape boredom loneliness or even stress, excitement is also part of the reasons why women goes into gambling the sense of winning creates an additional anticipation of something bigger having the spotlight on you as a winner can make you feel good even for a brief moment. This has eventually turn into frequent trips or long session in gambling.
People goes to gamble for main reason, that is to earn money and increase their profits. Even women would see it as their first goal. Socializing and making new friends are just some of the little factors that make them excited to gamble. But I don't think married women are still capable of doing this. Enough for them to see their men gambling, and just consider theirselves as home buddy while taking care of their kids.

Gambling is being played by men and women in the same way and the reason for women gambling are the same as the reason for any men to gamble. It varies from person to person but the major reasons can either to win money or have fun or both.

Yes, i understand that women gambling is not considered good by our society and many people think that gambling is a men/s passion but actually there is no difference of gender in gambling and since the online gambling has become popular, the many girls are involved in gambling behind the scenes.
2060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 20, 2023, 11:16:44 PM

You are overrating India here. This is the same team that lost to Bangladesh recently despite some senior players being left out. My point is that their performances have been quite inconsistent recently.

They have the lineup to win the World Cup, but teams like Australia, England and South Africa have better chances in my honest opinion.
True and that's what I am worried about.

Before any ICC tournament Indian team gets tagged as a favorite and everyone puts extra pressure on the team and virtually in every knockout match the Indian team goes into their shell and then the bashing follows.

The reason is that cricket is one of the most loved sports by the Indian nation and people are emotionally attached to cricket and the Indian players. When you have such a huge following, of course they will all support you for a win. They will want Team India to lift every ICC major event, the World Cup being the biggest of all events.

Instead of getting under pressure from such big fan followings, someone needs to teach them to take this love and affection in a way to further increases and boom up your spirits to perform even better.

The fear of losing should be overcomed by the will of winning.
