1841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which games offer the best chance of a big win? on: September 29, 2023, 04:23:43 PM
Let's settle this! Based on your experience which game is more likely to bring a big win - slots, table games or crypto games?

On one hand, I know slots bring in large X's, but it is quite rare and you have to be really lucky. On the other hand, I saw people get massive multipliers on crypto games like Crash after a couple of minutes of playing. So which is it?

Just like the crash games give you massive multipliers in a couple of minutes of play, it can literally take away all your portfolio within seconds. So there are both sides of it. In gambling, you need luck to win, and if you have luck you can win many multipliers and change your life, but remember you need luck and most gamblers won't find any luck  Tongue

If you ask me, which games give me the best winnings, then I will go for sports betting. In sports betting, you have something to analyze and this edge is much better than going blindly in any casino game with 100% dependent upon luck.

The Sri Lankan team performed very well from the start but the Bangladesh team could not keep the bowling under pressure. Sri Lanka's Pathum Nissanka started the only good try. Mahedi Hasan of Bangladesh team threw the ball towards Sri Lanka and succeeded in getting 3 wickets which is one of the best for Bangladesh team. Mahedi Hasan gave 29 runs in just 8 overs, then the performance was very good for me. If the other bowlers could have performed well then surely the Sri Lankan team would not have scored more runs. So far the Sri Lankan team has collected 206 runs in 40.2 balls with the loss of 5 wickets.

The Bangladesh team bowlers were able to restrict Srilanka to 263 runs. Although the Srilankan score may be enough for them to win the match but the way they started this innings, the opening partnership between Pathum Nissanka,  Kusal Perera (he was retired hurt) and Kusal Mendis was of 104 runs. So ideally Srilanka should have made a score of something near 300 runs, but that was not the case. Mahedi Hasan, from bangladesh, put a dent in their innings and they were all out. Lets see how Bangladesh will come out to chase this score.

The other match between AFG and SA was abandoned because of the rain at Thiruvananthapuram.

I would note the current fees right now are the highest they have been in around 3 months,

For almost a week now, I am noticed that the mempool tx fee is consistently dropping. Now you can easily get your tx confirmed with 5 sat/vbyte and it may easily go down to 4 sat/vbyte, a figure which was looking almost impossible to get confirmation two weeks before.

Now, what special has happened that the Tx fee is decreasing rapidly?
It is that people are doing fewer Bitcoin transactions or is it related to an increase in the number of miners or there is any other reason I am not aware of Roll Eyes

First set of warmups are about to start in 1 hour from now, but I am not sure whether we will get to see any action today. Rains are reported in all three cities as of now. Situation in Guwahati is a bit better, but not very encouraging news coming from the other two venues (Hyderabad and Trivandrum). India's first warmup match will be played tomorrow, when they takes on England at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. They will be playing one more warmup match, against Netherlands on 3rd October at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

We have two matches underway between New Zealand vs. Pakistan and the other one Srilanka vs. Bangladesh. The match between Afghanistan vs. South Africa is delayed because of rain.

In the first match, Pakistan team is batting after winning the toss and are 24 - 1. They have lost the wicket of Imam-ul-Haq. Baber Azam and Abdullah Shafique  looking to take the innings forward.

In the other match, Srilanka are batting first after winning the toss and scored 26 without any loss. Kusal Perera and Pathum Nissanka looking calm againist the bangladesh bowlers.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 29, 2023, 05:52:39 AM
I am not sure how profitable it will be to host the major tournaments in the United States. Whatever benefit that comes from the increased gate collection will be neutralized by decreased viewership in India due to unsuitable timeslots. Staging such tournaments in regions such as the middle-east would be a better option IMO, as the time zone is not too different from that in India. USA is significant because there is a cricket loving expat community with huge purchasing power. But their numbers are not very significant. If the ICC wants to grow the game in the US, then they need to involve the locals as well. They can't solely rely on the expats.

Nobody know what role ICC is playing to promote cricket in regions where its not popular. ICC is giving huge funds to countries like UAE and Oman who don't have even a single local player in there squad (all expats and none has the nationality). USA is different from middle east in sense that locals (immigrants from south Asia) have lots of interest in cricket and they over the period of time have got USA residency, which is not the case in middle east.

This is the same as if FIFA decided to host a FIFA World Cup in India when India never qualified for the FIFA World Cup. This is strange, isn't it?
The same thing will happen if ICC decides to host a big tournament in the United States of America when they do not have an International presence in cricket. They do play baseball but that is an entirely different sport.

One reason i find is that because USA is a developed country, ICC would want to host cricket competitions there rather than in underdeveloped Asian countries in the hope of getting a lot of funds.
1847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Youth Gambling on: September 29, 2023, 05:39:15 AM
Among young people is a result of the availability of gambling alternatives, such as sports betting and online gambling. Gambling disorders can have long-term effects on a person's ability to complete their education and choose their future, and young individuals may be particularly susceptible to acquiring these illnesses

So what are alternatives to gambling where the youth can keep themselves involved and do not find time to gamble? They need something more interesting things so that can spend less time on gambling and more time on other activities.

To be very honest, if a young person gambles very often, it will become a habit and he may not want to work in life but solely depend upon gambling, which is not right in my point of view. A younger person should do something in life and gamble only for fun or as a part time hobby. Do not make it a full-time job as it may ruin your life.
1848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 Oscar Awards bets and discussions on: September 29, 2023, 03:56:21 AM
These are the odds offered by the sportsbooks. These movies, directors and later actresses, actors and other categories added are not yet official from the Academy of motion picture arts and sciences. However, if you are a movie expert or a couch potato, you might already know which of these directors and movies has a chance to win hehehe. Share your knowledge!

More important thing, where can we bet on the 2024 Oscars award?
On which sites do you prefer to bet as i don't think the majority of the sports betting site will list these bets.

The most probable date for the Oscar award is 10th March 2024 while the submission date of different categories entries will be somewhere around the middle or end of November this year.
1849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 29, 2023, 02:10:03 AM

The Afghanistan team is very strong, but only for the T20 format. Their performance in the ODI format has been very erratic. I don't expect much from this team in the World Cup as well. In the Asia Cup too, we saw a poor and erratic performance from Afghanistan. But the players of this team have the ability to play big innings.

It is unfortunate for Sri Lanka that Hasaranga is not in the squad. The group returned to the truck after a long period of poor performance. Sri Lanka has done well against Bangladesh and Pakistan in the Asia Cup. Sri Lanka's spin attack in particular was excellent. But the performance of their batsmen is very erratic. If the performance of the batsmen is not consistent, it is not possible to do anything good in the World Cup.

If we compare the rest of the teams in the World Cup, the Afghanistan team does not stand a chance in this tournament. In front of strong teams like India, Australia, South Africa and England, such weak teams will have a hard time in the world cup.Afghanistan still lacks the experience and talent to do well in any tournament.

There was a time when the Sri Lankan team was considered among the best teams in the world. The best performance could be expected from him in the World Cup, and he was often included in the favorite teams, but now their team is considered among the weaker teams.their performance is no longer the same as before.

I think these two teams cannot be expected to perform better in the World Cup. Weaker teams can pull off a single-match upset in the World Cup, but they cannot be expected to perform consistently well in the World Cup, because in the World Cup, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka will be pitted against the best teams in the world, who have It has the best bowlers and batsmen in the world.

Well, I understand that lifting the World Cup for both Afghanistan and Srilanka teams is out of the question but both of these teams are capable of doing the upsets and that too not just once but multiple times.

When any of the strong teams is playing a match against them, they will have in the back of their mind that these are not easy teams and they need to fight hard to get a win from them.

Also another thing is this world cup is taking place in India, and the Asian region pitches support the Afghanistan and Srilanka spinners, Rashid khan may have a big role in this World Cup.

South Africa women's player Laura's 124 runs helped the South Africa women's team win. Laura, the opener of the South African women's team, played the entire match. In today's match, New Zealand women's bowlers failed to take the wicket of opener Laura. I am very impressed by the performance of the South African women's team. South Africa won both matches in the ODI series between New Zealand Women's team and South Africa Women's team. Hope the South Africa women team will win the last match of this series as well. Congratulations to the South African Women's Cricket Team. I am really happy to enjoy this match today

The way South African women chased the score was remarkable. They chased down the target of 253 runs losing only 3 wickets. Their captain and opener Laura Wolvaardt alone scored 124 runs. Although i thought that earlier Amelia Kerr also played a good innings of 88 runs but this innings by Laura was even better.

As the South African team won the first ODI too, this is the series win for these girls. The third and final match will be played at Durban on this Sunday and I am pretty sure that SA will win that too.
1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 28, 2023, 04:32:39 PM
It's interesting, but what I dislike about most gamblers is that they often complain when a game causes them to lose. They'll come close to cashing out their ticket, but then a game spoils it. Afterward, they say, "I wish I knew this game would fail, I had doubts about it," but they still repeat the same mistake in the next game. Some may include that particular game in multiple slips, especially those who enjoy playing many games, and it ends up ruining all of them. The question is, why didn't they make different predictions for that game on each slip? At least one or more predictions might have worked instead of using the same prediction on all slips. What's amusing is that this happens to most gamblers, at least 78% of the ones I know.

Complaining about the losses in gambling or regretting picking the wrong slips is no excuse for gamblers. Think for a moment, that if that gambler had won all the slips, would he complain? Never.

The point is that all the gamblers want that they win all the bets, all the games they play which is not realistic. If gamblers were to win anything, the gambling casinos weren't mad to open up the casino only to let the gamblers win. A gambler must know that he will lose most of the time and he will be indeed lucky if he is in an overall winning situation.
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card gambling fuels gambling addiction on: September 28, 2023, 03:35:01 PM
Credit card gambling is like ATM in casinos, they are there so you can spend (lose) more money, the only way you need to use it or it can be usefull is when its your only payment method.

Nothing is more idiot than have a debt for gambling, if you take a loan to gamble, man you are in big problems.

Also I think that credit card gambling is an old-fashioned way of gambling and many people have abandoned the use of credit cards for gambling. Now a days gamblers use cryptocurrencies for gambling, the easiest, quickest and most convenient way to gamble online  Smiley

However, people can still get credit through credit cards, buy bitcoins, deposit in the gambling site and gamble. Yeah, credit cards are still an indirect source to fuel our gambling addiction.

Right now if there is a possible fall, then buy because it is intended that bitcoin can reach a great ATH soon, if some say that bitcoin will fall and if the weakest sell, then you have to buy from ca opco, you have to be smart, I like it when bitcoin falls, because it is an opportunity to have more satoshis, only the weak-minded are the ones who can eat from the bad news of bitcoin, here there is only room for people with superior intelligence with a millionaire mentality, and the ones who don't want to So believe that they continue to believe in the news and the economists who talk about any atrocity, I follow Robert Kiyosaki, but I think he still needs more Financial education , because there is bitcoin here for a while.

I'm not saying anything about FIAT money, it's something that you can go to the ground now if you want, but not with Bitcoin.

Who would say Bye Bye to Bitcoins for the Citibanks tokens  Cheesy

We should keep in mind that these influencers can shill any token if they are being given the price. We never know how much money Robert Kiyosaki got from Citibank to tweet from his account. A modern way of advertisement. Ahhh !!!

1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: September 28, 2023, 02:55:12 PM
We are mature enough to know what's good and bad for us interms of finances, making money is our target in the system. I wouldn't advised any young teen to go into gambling because it's impacts are negative and harming to the existence of humans, only the wise and experienced gamblers have chances of generating significant income from the system. I'm curious about finding out essential information circulating round the system. Our mindset can either push us to far into gambling, making it an addition or drives us away from anything relatable to gambling activities.

The problem is that most people in gambling are mature and those who are addicted to gambling are even more mature.  Sad

The addiction in gambling comes with greediness or if you have a lot of money, you play excessive gambling and with the passage of time become a gambling addict.

For those who care for their money, they would never risk too much in gambling. Being moderate in gambling is the only way that you will enjoy gambling without losing all your money.
1855  Economy / Gambling / Re: TOP69CryptoCasinos.com | Reviews & Listings - A more honest approach on: September 28, 2023, 01:11:26 PM
The overall site layout and structure is good one. Also, i like the presentation of the casinos and you can find the main features of each casino without going into the details. Also, there is a separate list of non-KYC casinos lists too. However, i disagree with the casino ratings presented on the site.

There are big names here on this platform which I see some of the above listed casino can not match in anyway.

I was surprised to find out that there stake.com wasn't mentioned anywhere and not even in the list of top 50 casino list  Huh  I do not say that OP put stake on top of the list but not finding in the top 50 is a big surprise for me.

~ and open up a new thread with self mod so only the participants of the pool can interact without outside interference.
You have already made two posts in this thread without showing your interest to join the pool. What are you doing here if you don't want to join in it?

I think you haven't read all my posts here, if you had you would not have said asked this question:Smiley

I will see later how much participants actually paid the fee and then decide whether to join or not.

And don't worry I was among the participants in the previous pool which was related to IPL matches.
Also, I wish you good luck with your early participation in the pool.  Smiley
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you seen gambling advertisements on TV? Opinion. on: September 28, 2023, 12:15:25 PM
In my country all forms of gambling are prohibited so there are no advertisements about gambling platforms. However, at sporting events there are lots of banners about cigarette and contraceptive products which I think are quite disturbing. The government also doesn't seem to be too bothered by these advertisements because they get taxes from it.
In fact, the government should regulate these advertisements because they are quite disturbing and can influence young people to use these products. These advertisements can influence children's subconscious minds and trigger them to be curious and use the product. That's why in developing countries the rate of addiction to gambling, cigarettes, etc. is quite high because there are no advertising regulations from the government.

At one side you are saying that gambling is prohibited in your country and on the other side you are saying that the government do not bother if about sports betting advertisements. Instead of collecting money as an advertisement for sports betting, they could actually ban the local platforms that are advertising those bets and fine them too.

Either the government first legalise gambling and allow the ads or completely ban the gambling and the betting ads, doing half of the things and allowing the other half for their own benefits is not the right thing in my opinion.

There is bit of drought in here, so am bumping the post.

Yes, OP needs to be active here. I guess we have three people already paid the fee for participation. After the OP pays the fee and confirms, then I am sure Royse will also confirm his sponsorship for the event.

If nothing of this happens quickly, then I guess you are going with three people with an amount of 3 mbtc and there will be three winners:Smiley
1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Discussion thread on: September 28, 2023, 08:43:56 AM
Right, these warm-up matches are important as preparation. They will provide good indications of how teams are adapting to the conditions in India. It can help identify any areas where they need to improve. And yes, a win in these matches can be a great confidence booster before the major tournament. It's interesting to see a good test and performance, and how they are shaping up against their opponents.

Let’s hope for some exciting cricket! 😊

Not very sure about this. Look at the warmups that are scheduled for 29th. For example take the match between New Zealand and Pakistan, which is scheduled at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. In this case, both the teams are unfamiliar with the Indian conditions. So how can we measure the adaptability of these two teams from just one match? The tournament will be played over the course of 1.5 months, and the participating teams will continue to adjust to the conditions and improvise. Warmups may or may not give an indication for that.

We do not need to check the adaptability of the teams in India conditions on their warm matches but actually the purpose of the warm uo matches is that the teams get used to the playing conditions and have a match practice with a competitive team, before the start of the World cup.

This helps the team to check their combinations of bowling and batting, though winning the match is not the motive of warm up matches. The primary purpose is to find the right combination before the start of the WC.
1860  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 28, 2023, 08:14:41 AM
To be honest, what's interesting is that the prizes are quite large, and the average contestant who has high experience and ability in art contests pays attention and considers the prizes, "like thinking about whether it's worth fighting for," maybe. I hope the Roobet team provides greater opportunities to get more people who are great at the art of participating in the contest.
A work of art must be valued at a high price, because the process is not easy and not everyone has the ability so not only the results but also the skill of the artist are assessed. With the big prizes allocated by Roobet, you can also get good works of art that can meet what Roobet hopes for. It's great that Roobet is continuing with its art contests and it's great for the artists who were able to win the prizes.
and also we can see how good their team who decides the winners, they have bring so many competition and time after time we can see how each participants improving and others are new but sending competitive entries .
what i wanted to see is if the team will conduct new event (aside from this one of course) to bring more talent in bitcointalk.
also their Games and Round give away that they have back in the years.

For example, I generally really like that such a feature of casinos as holding art competitions has become so famous that now if you ask any gambler who knows at least a little about online casinos, which casino holds such competitions, then this player’s answer will be  immediately and unambiguously - Roobet
I consider this a very successful marketing move by casino marketers.  It was not just invented by a marketer or someone smart and talented among the devs or casino executives to attract more players, but also to promote the development of modern art.  This is a very humane and kind characteristic of this casino, which has now become a label.
This is exactly what people in our world, mired in the secrets of politicians, war, viollence, rampant crime and other negative things on the world stage, are in short supply and really lack.

Yes, Roobet is known for its art competitions in this forum. Other gambling sites may or may not follow them but they have set this trend for themselves.

If we talk about the gamblers, they may or may not like these competitions because the gambler may not be a good graphic or art designer. Even most gamblers do not have an interest in the Arts and arts competitions. They are more attracted towards wagering competitions and other stuff relevant to gambling.
