Does it mean that I will pay $0.33 for a transaciton of 10$ and the same for a transaction of $1000? Yes. No. Maybe. Bitcoin transaction are based on the number of outputs, not the value of those outputs. If I have a single output of 1 BTC, then to spend that I only need to pay for one output. If I have ten outputs of 0.0001 BTC, then to spend that I will need to pay for all ten outputs. It will be cheaper for me to spend one output of 1 BTC than it would be for me to spend ten outputs of 0.0001 BTC, even though those ten outputs of 0.0001 BTC are only worth a fraction of the one output of 1 BTC. An analogy is like sending cash in the post, where you are charged for the weight of the cash you are sending. If I send a single $100 bill it will be very cheap. If I send a few dozen coins it will be very expensive, even though the total value of the coins will be much less than that of the $100 bill. The $0.33 flat fee given by mempool.space is based on an "average" segwit transaction which spends a single input (regardless of the value of that input). If your $10 payment and your $1000 payment are both from a single input, then yes, they will pay the same fee. If they require more than one input, then the total fee will vary, although the fee rate (in satoshis per virtual byte, or sats/vbyte) will remain the same. Yes, i myself have experienced it here Electrum Wallet RBF Feature and learned that Tx fees depend upon the number of outputs and it does not matter if the value of those outputs is big or small. I can see that OP has bumped his fee again, this time to 7 sats/vbyte, and his transaction has now confirmed. I would also suggest to OP that I don't know where he is getting his bitcoin from, but receiving >40 outputs to the same address, some of only a few thousand sats, is a very inefficient way to use bitcoin. You should try to receive larger amounts less frequently if you can. And given that almost all of those outputs predate the current surge in fees, I don't know why you've chosen to consolidate them now when you could have consolidated them at 1 sat/vbyte almost any time over the past year.
Yes, i again increased the fee to 7 sat/vbyte and got my transaction confirmed but i was wondering why i got so high fee. If i remember it correctly it was around 0.00021064. After reading your post, i came to know that even if we receive small amounts on the SAME bitcoin address, when we withdraw from that wallet, it will detuct a lot of fee. Don't know the reason for this as all the bitcoin are in the same wallet address. Another thing was that i only send around 5$ to some address, why it used a change address in the transaction and move all my funds to a new address in my wallet. Generally I will bet when I get a good prediction based on my own research, for example a meeting between the two teams in football and I will see the chances of winning first before deciding to bet.
Chance of winning alone is definitely not enough and is probably the main reason why so many people lose money. What you need to be looking at is the relation of payout rate to the chance of winning (Expected Value of the bet). So what if the team A has 90% chance of winning if the odds are set at x1.05. This wouldn't be a good bet to make. And if the team B has only 10% chance of winning, but the odds are set at x15.0 - that'd be a good value bet. Although that is definitely true that the odds of winning are relatively low on the player's side but another major reason is the habit that gamblers develop to keep playing. Despite knowing that they are losing most of their bets they still tend to keep playing losing more. This is why the losses always overcome the profits. This is why 90% gamblers lose money in the long term. I would say that gamblers will lose both in the long term and short term if they have no exit plan, if they do not have any profit taking plan and if they do not know what percentage of the win needs to be reinvested in the bets and how much you should cash out according to your portfolio. In the absence of all these things, no gambler can be a winner in a nutshell. I recently used the RBF feature in the Electrum wallet. What happened was that I send some amount but put a fee of 2satoshi - Fee per vbyte, it was showing it will take 1 day for confirmation. So after about 18 hrs, i decided to use the RBF feature for the very first time. I increased the fee to 4satoshi - Fee per vbyte and broadcast the transcation. Now when i check the old Tx, it says it is not found. OLD TX, NOT FOUND  I see a new TX ID and it is still pending confirmation. My question is that the fee which i paid in the old tx, 0.00005064 BTC, where does it goes? Is it lost? Because in my new TX, the fee is 0.00012064 BTC (4.0 sat/vB) or did the OLD tx fee added to it Also how long will it take for this new transaction to be confirmed with 4.0 sat/vB fee ? |

Australia is not an Asian team  It would be a good game of hockey but France will have an advantage. France and Australia both topped their groups. In the knockout stages, France beat Morocco 4-0 while the Australian women's team beat Denmark 2-0. Even just a friendly gamble when we are just young, we just copy it to others, and deep inside us, we really don't know what the meaning of that is, but again, there are really people or some people persuading others to gamble because they can get a cut when the person they invited deposits money. Also, religion is really not involved in it because some religions have banned it, and you're right, others still gamble, which means it is on them as they know that they violated their rules.
If someone's religion does not allow gambling and still that person is doing gambling means that he is doing something which is not liked by his society and therefore he will try to hide this fact from his near and dear ones. They may say bad words to him and in other situations, may force them to leave gambling, and due to this fear, he or she hides his/her gambling activity from everyone. In my opinion, gambling addicts and non-addicts both regret when they lose their game. The only thing that differentiates them is that people who are addicted to gambling will continue to play regardless of their financial condition and they tend to be aggressive and don't care about their condition. Whereas people who are not addicted to gambling, they tend to think rationally and keep thinking about their financial condition and tend to hold back from gambling again. While you have mentioned the emotions of regret related to gambling addicts and non-addicts, I will not agree with the point that non-addicted gamblers not be prepared for a loss. They should be prepared for both loss and win. Why would a non-addicted gambler will be sad about the gambling loss? I think such a gambler already knows the risk involved in the game and he would be prepared for the loss. This means that he would not risk too much that a loss from gambling will lead to a change in his mood. He must have a money management plan with him and therefore we put him in the non-addicted gamblers category. |

If you have lack of knowledge, and you invest blindly in Bitcoin, of course, you will lose money. Even if you do not trade with crypto, still if you buy bitcoin near its all time high, then you will be carrying the bag of bitcoin for the next cycle and you may have to wait for a few years before the price return to your buying price. Most of these inexperienced persons will sell their bitcoins in the loss and later claim that they have lost money because of investment in Bitcoin. Some people may be lucky if they blindly invest in bitcoin, and the bitcoin is near its low price and they will gain profit but it is better to first learn about bitcoin and then invest in it. |

Obviously you can, because I have also seen people who propose to their love after owning Bitcoin, either he has sold Bitcoin to build a family by getting married, or he still has it today. Because maybe he has also fallen in love with Bitcoin after knowing more about Bitcoin which can indeed be used as payments, Investments, Store of value, Donations, and Smart contracts. If you have a lot of gold in your life I think you can sell some of it to buy Bitcoin if you already know a lot about Bitcoin. But that's just a small suggestion from me because the final decision is still in your own hands. If you have a lot of fiat money (paper money) you should consider buying both Gold and Bitcoin, however personally i would put more investment in Bitcoin as compared to gold. The reason i am saying this is because the gold being less volatile while bitcoin being more volatile but gives more ROI. If you only have Gold, better sell some gold and buy some bitcoins before its too late. The current prices of bitcoin are good to buy. Also if you only have bitcoin, then it depends upon you if you want to buy some gold too, I would say to keep your portfolio in bitcoin but later when bitcoin reaches new All time high, convert some of that bitcoin into gold. |

It's actually pretty stupid how someone would feel that some group out there in the internet will actually provide an 100 % sure odds tag to deliver them victory because I for one certainly know that they is no such channel and the crazy part is that you actually gat to pay for such service. I was personal invited to one of these groups and I instantly blocked it because I am very certain that all these groups operate same way we do because no one actually habor any hidden secrets to a match before it's kicks off.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that thought. If casinos are doing the KYC then they are abiding by their jurisdiction. Secondly, if they are doing the KYC then they are also making client-user contracts and it becomes one sort of evidence that we are registered on that casino, we have our cashier account too. As we move with time and make transactions they are getting recorded against our KYC so it's solid proof. Now, you never know when this proof will become an important thing in your life if somehow they do a scam of some type. This could be a lifesaver. I have seen peeps fighting for their life when some casinos ask for the KYC because if they have surpassed certain limits of transaction/winnings.
If that is the case then I hardly think the anonymous nature in a casino matters. I can understand when it comes to the physical one, but when it's an online casino, you have to be very cautious.
