Have you troubleshooted to make sure its not the cables; ie switching the working cables/card combinations around to eliminate that variable?
next, i would see if when you remove the working 2 if the others get detected.
my pic-e 16x risers work fine by themselves, but my mobo makes me jump the pci-e 1x hooked up to a card with a wire to force the auto detection of a card or something...
anyways, other people will likely wanna know the specifics of your machine before they can troubleshoot anymore.

Password recovery is not an issue to me as it takes user error in the first place. Don't lose passwords and it won't matter.
My only issue with Tradehill is their transaction times for depositing and withdrawing. Fast compared to mtgox, but slow compared to everyone else.

Personally i use SierraChart a desktop application providing a professional Trading. How to start 1. Download and install SierraChart software (use default settings and data directory) , register an account, after the 14 days trial you can still use the software and plot charts http://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/SierraChartSetup.exe2. Download SierraChart feed for MtGox market provided by Slush http://mining.bitcoin.cz/media/download/sierrachartfeed-0.2.exe3. Start feed in a console with -s thUSD 4. Start SierraChart software 5. Go to File->New/Open Intraday Chart and select thUSD.scid 6. Customize your view using F5 (chart settings) and F6 (analysis/studies) menus Im also using Seirra charts with sierrafeed, LOVE IT!!! Can switch to any market on bitcoincharts. Very useful.. On another note, what filters analysis (F6) are you using ? |

Where is the 'dual bios switch' located? Is this a 'virtual' switch in SW, or is it something I can see physically? If it's hardware (not SW) - can I see it with the card plugged in, or do I have to power down and remove the card (like I would need to do to check for AMD logo on pin connector)?

the switch is real IF you have it, pretty easy to spot beside crossfire connector, if you cant see it/find you dont have one |

I love that site too, but its closed for putting money in, its in beta. So I find the values and market less than adequate, very low sell rate..  I think its from the LACK of people using it, and being in beta and not accepting new cash untill the go fully live |

Personally, I'm giving crap because I'm selling some 5830s for market value (ebay auction style no reserve), and the market itself moves them to prices he's not willing to "believe." Sorry subjective valuation takes him to trollville (Wasilla, Alaska). It may not be the "best" card for Mr. Troll, but it will work for some people and some setups quite well.
That, and there are other trolls who have recently set up shop knocking the boosted value of the 5830 (not only on their own thread, but decent, legitimate 5830 posts)...probably because they didn't get theirs and don't want anyone else to have it either.
He could have searched for "5830 AND troll", and found his little hairy brothers and sisters.

I have two 5830s crossfired, and over clocked to 965, and mem clock to 340
they are both hashing at 280
With trix, it will control both if cross fire is enabled and the cable is used..
The are non ref sapphires
Some people report cross fire lowering hashs, but it seems to be fine for me when I can over clock both now, instead of just the first one
