1521  Economy / Speculation / Re: $8 today? on: January 06, 2012, 11:30:14 PM
While I believe that the initial floor of $2 a couple of months ago, and the following slow rises to $3 or so are justifiable based upon fundemental metrics related to the bitcoin economy; the most recent spike to $6+ is unfounded and indicative of a rising mania.  The growth of the bitcoin economy simply hasn't had the time to keep up with that kind of runnup.

Nooooooooooo!

They got to you didnt they ?   Cheesy

just teasin!, I actually feel he same way, but not till it hits the teens..

Genjix made a nice list of points about bitcoin..

I liked it,
brief over each one, dont dive too deep as to lose them..
1533  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Mt.Gox out of cash??? on: January 05, 2012, 03:16:11 PM
This is unacceptable in my eyes, and shouldnt be an issue to their customers.

Get some reserves FFS, its sooo easy to blame dwolla and the holidays..

It blows my mind what is acceptable these days..

My answer to Mtgox, from the OP, would be something on the lines.   "Why is this MY problem?, and what is MTgox going to do to fix it"

1534  Economy / Speculation / Re: $7 today?!! on: January 05, 2012, 02:45:43 PM

1535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hi, my name is ineededausername on: January 05, 2012, 01:16:50 AM
I think you might be right, but I'd have to know what oscillators you are using to be sure.

I believe he would be using a Flip Flop Oscillator here. Smiley
Actually, I think he is using a crystal oscillator.  However, he has replaced the quartz crystal with a small chunk of bitcoin to modify the output.  See schematic below.

I made the circuit, I can hear local radio stations!

I hear voices, they say to buy buy buy!

1539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Accusations against shakaru on: January 02, 2012, 05:33:15 AM
And now ladies and gentlemen "GRAND THREAD ASTANA: Scam Shakaru" has come to an end.

I have no doubt it will have more sequels than Star Trek.

Yes, this blind stupid rage is only a newbie whitelisting away!

1540  Economy / Lending / Re: Lol lots of big loans. It's newyears on: January 02, 2012, 12:07:58 AM
I kind of agree. I'm not against long term loans per se, but I think 3% interest for a month just isn't enough to cover the risk. But hell, it's their money.

and if the price move the other way, you could make money too.

example: I lend 100 btc at 3% for a month. Lets say bitcoin price plummets. I get 103 btc after a month, but I would have gained a lot more if I sold the coins. Lets say bitcoin price rises. Best case scenario I get 3 extra coins. Not worth the risk, imo.

The cat is neither dead or alive..
