2061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: October 07, 2018, 10:04:20 PM
Guys, how do you think, is a ready-made product important for ICO project?

In my opinion, it is, because it can show investors that the team is ready to bring huge results and has future plans.

As an example - KickCity, event platform where each user is rewarded for event promotion. You can try it today. More information you can find here  https://medium.com/@kickcity_io/kickcity-public-beta-5aa66fafc5c7
In today's tough market conditions, the project must prove to the investor that he is ready to make them a profit. A project that does not even have a product is a frank rudeness and fraud.
That's  the common sense not only in the ICO but in kickstarter aswell. I think that if the team that demands fundraising could show their prototype that means they are really committed to making that product
and know how to make it and ofcourse also proving the idea they described is possible to be realized, otherwise will just be like selling mouth.
2062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: October 07, 2018, 03:52:06 PM
It is possible to crack a wallet only because of your sluggishness and if you neglect security methods. do not blame the developers or anyone else for example if you did not put 2fa on the wallet
Though there's some of coin that the wallet lacking 2fa but there's always another way to make the security stronger. Most of the case of wallet hacking the wallet user is actually to blame not the devs.
So many wallet owner right now just dont give attention to how important the wallet security can be and that can be overall bad if the hacker gain access to so many wallet.
2063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: October 07, 2018, 09:16:27 AM
I believe that KYC is not needed for cryptocurrency at all, because cryptocurrency loses anonymity
Many countries that legalize crypto require KYC now for investors for team records and reliability of the company, but it is not needed in Airdrop , only few buck will you get and will be need to risk your identity is quite impossible.
They require KYC not for team records but to know their customer and preventing any kind of money laundering since crowdfunding tend to be taken advantage of as a way to launder illegal money and that's not good.
However, justifying the use of KYC for mere airdrop is wrong on so many levels because I believe that most of the airdrop created by unreliable strangers.
2064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: October 07, 2018, 09:01:10 AM
Just like an account where one's fiat currencies are kept so also is wallet where digital assets or cryptocurrencies of crypto lovers are kept. Can the wallet be vulnerable to hacking and if possible how can that happen? If you have experienced it before, I want to learn from your experience.

Even though I didn't experienced it before, I know the concept in which it is done. Wallet account is the same as social media accounta hacking. If we are careless enough to our actions, it is possible for our wallets to be hacked. Hackera may use phishing sites to get your username and passwords. They can also use malwares such as keyloggers. Be careful in installing softwares.
That's exactly why there's something called 2 factor authentication where even if the hacker have access to your credentials data including password or wallet ID to your account they can't do anything simply because they don't have the 2fa to begin with and cant even withdraw something.
2065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the reasons behind banning cryptos? on: October 06, 2018, 10:17:40 PM
crypto have been banned in so many countries especially the world power countries because there are many factors behind this act . first, the Government have not been able to place a tax on the exchanges . secondly due to it decentralize nature there is no control by Government agency . and last but not the least is ,a new Technology that many since not to understand the way is been operated in terms of transaction and lack of security of crypto asset
Most of the developed country didn't banned bitcoin though, but country with poor technology tend to banned bitcoin because they are afraid of  new things.
Take example America, Europe country and Japan they are most of them welcoming cryptocurrency but 3rd world country ban it instead.
2066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects that are actually doing something during this Bear Market. on: October 06, 2018, 10:05:54 PM
A lot of great innovation happening in between the bubbles. Ethereum updates, Augur, EOS launch, BancorX, etc. Innovation always occurs during lulls, and then the hype train comes along.

EOS launch?
I am overdue to check again, last I heard EOS was a mess and the token is down ~2/3 from the summer highs,
Yeah  they are, even I heard that part of their team is going out and trying to make a brand new token all over again which doesn't make sense
and really looks like a greedy move, I don't know whether their real intention is just going after the money they raised but that seems it is.
2067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: October 06, 2018, 10:03:22 PM
I concur. When you enter a "photograph of an international ID" in Google, numerous photographs show up. A few people send them. In questionable airdrops and ISO, I don't fill in the KYc, in those that intrigue me, I'll send my information. It additionally appears to me that the KYC method does not compare to the idea of "privacy".
It would not be a good idea to send in any kind of fake information to people in charge of the ICO's, what if they need to meet with you?
The devs meeting you is just simply doesnt make sense but using fake ID break the rules of KYC and making KYC meaningless.
also it can be misused for laundering money since the point of KYC is to prevent any form ofmoney laundering
2068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE OR LITECOIN on: October 05, 2018, 01:44:10 AM
I assume that ripple has a better prospect compared to litecoin, ripple is superior to several things and it's very dominant
Judging from the recent trend, it is, however I don't see a really bright future in litecoin. I just see that coin as no more interesting but instead a boresome stuff.
Ripple in the other hand is really hyped to the point where the market condition gets unrealistic and that's not good either
2069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your coins in multiple wallets on: October 05, 2018, 01:37:10 AM
If you use a hardware wallet then I think you will not need to store on different wallets, because this is protected very well, and so if you store on mew then you definitely need to do it!
That's true, even without hardware wallet hacker have a hard time figuring out which person own the wallet if the owner never revealed their address. Hardware wallet is like making hacking near to impossible since you need to get in touch with the hardware wallet directly to get the code to send money.
2070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 30 percent of tokens nowhere to be found on cryptocurrency exchanges on: September 28, 2018, 11:58:39 PM
today

A large number of ICOs have a reputation of worthless projects which do not have anything apart from a whitepaper. According to a new report by Diar, it is perfectly reflected in their price as tokens struggle to keep their initial price, while 30 percent of ICOs are not listed on a single exchange.
Going underwater
According to the abovementioned report, 70 percent of crypto tokens that didn’t make it to the top 100 currencies on CoinMarketCap fail to meet investors’ expectations, plunging below their initial value. At the same time, more than 30 percent of ICOs that were launched in 2017-2018 are not listed on any cryptocurrency exchange. Some developers behind these unlisted tokens even failed to provide the information about the distribution of token supply while raking in over $1 bln. Among these tokens, which have almost zero liquidly, there are some big-name projects in the likes of Bancor that raised a whopping $150 mln this February.

As U.Today has already reported, over 800 ICOs have already gone bust in just 18 months. Meanwhile, it is widely speculated that the dwindling interest in ICOs is inextricably connected to the plunging Ethereum price.
These guys are searching which is the best ico to make them all being rich person instantly as far as i know the ico gives a lot of impact to the price of ethereum. remember when EOS crowdsale has been contributing more than 1 millions ethereum to be invested in the EOS crowdsale? it looks enough to give a lot of insight abou that dude.
ico still on its demand.
2071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Whitepaper is copied,What do you think about the white paper plagiarism? on: September 28, 2018, 11:56:26 PM
“It seems that I ever saw this kind of Whitepaper before”. Have you ever encountered such situation? We figured out there are more and more plagiaristic Whitepaper existed since launching ICO projects becomes popular. We found some examples of plagiaristic Whitepaper.

What do you think about the white paper plagiarism?

1. Title Page Plagiarism

STC vs ICR Same font, same version, same logo with different color

ABT vs ACT Similar logo, same slogan

MTK vs CLR Same content type

2. Table of Contents Plagiarism

PRTS vs SCI Same content

VSM vs COI Same content except deleting few chapters & replacing some project information

AID vs MTE Same content with different sequence

3. Content Plagiarism

STC vs ICR Copy content except picture, we could see that ICR Whitepaper shows blank picture when they couldn’t copy the STC’s picture.

AID vs MTE Same introduction of Platform except replacing project name and deleting inserted picture.

BTC vs SUS Same abstract with same title

Projects who plagiarist other projects definitely have dont have the intention of making their project a success and it is probably a scam. If they really wamt their project to be a succes they will invest time in creating a good whitepaper and will not just copy other's whitepaper's content.
They don't have any competence to run the project, basically if they are copying the whitepaper and that means they can't even create their own product. whitepaper will give a lot of insight about your idea to create such a useful product dude. in fact that even a big company just like can't even create a whitepaper and the developer has confirmed i they are taking another platform's whitepaper called filecoin.
2072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the King of ICO, Do you agree? on: September 26, 2018, 04:47:04 AM
at this time ethereum became a king for the ico platform. no one can match it other than eth. waves. neo and stelar still can't match eth. because trust in eth is very large
It's because the one that already commonly used and the brand/name ethereum is strongly inserted to people's brain that it's somehow correlated to ICO
I mean when people thinking about ICO, ethereum will also come into mind and that what makes strong community to support the market.
2073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacking kills the cryptocurrency market on: September 26, 2018, 04:14:16 AM
I have not faced such a problem. Take your coins immediately to your personal wallet after the transaction is correct.
Personal wallet can be hacked too if the security measurement is not that tight. Just try some 2 factor authentication or if you want a further security just buy hardware wallet.
Most of the hacking cases I know coming from people who dont care about security at all.
2074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: September 25, 2018, 05:26:47 AM
It's like a daily routine, not because im expecting that the price could suddenly change but more of curious, I do it daily I guess not as freak as other people that probably doing it every minutes.
but I guess we all here already add a huge chunk of total views to that overly simple yet functional website alone LOL
2075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do ethereum compete with bitcoin? on: September 25, 2018, 05:19:12 AM
I do not believe ethereum can rival the existence of bitcoin because the difference in exchange rates is very far made bitcoin will still be popular as an investment place that is often used by traders. In creating income every time.
And the number of circulating supply or total supply is different aswell, in this case a slight price increase in ethereum will definitely give huge impact to the total market capitalisation.
Consider that, logically a coin that have huge amount of supply will definitely have less price than a limited coin like bitcoin that only have 21 mil.
2076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People say altcoins won't survive on: September 25, 2018, 05:16:33 AM
yes, I also think so, not all altcoins will survive in a very long time because more and more competition in the market may only be altcoins that have large communities that can survive for the long term
natural selection will make us know what Altcoin is really strong. in this case it is true that not all Altcoins will be able to survive with increasingly fierce market competition. only altcoins have good developers and supporters who will be able to survive but it all depends on the conditions of Bitcoin because Bitcoin greatly affects the value of Altcoin.
Also, it will really give us option to "real" altcoin that is already proven to have a good team, good project, product and strong community. This kind of natural selection is actually quite good
so that the whole cryptocurrency market is not filled but scammy coin that actually have zero value other than speculative which is very wrong.
2077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: September 24, 2018, 08:24:06 AM
Regulation and control, how do you understand them? Regulation is the management of the process in a given direction, control is the observation and supervision of the process. To achieve this goal, these tools are essential. However, when it comes to the decentralized world of cryptocurrencies, these concepts lose their meaning. Why do we need to regulate the crypto market? To increase the degree of liability and security, crypto means of citizens to take the tax from incomes of citizens and to Supplement the budget in order to attract the unscrupulous creators of ICO and other Airdrops and Scam to account and to recover from them damages for the loss of investment of the participants. If you want to hide your crypto-income and savings from taxation, then you do not need control, and if you have invested your money in a bad project or stolen it from you, then you are looking for the culprit and trying to bring him to justice, then you just need tools of control and regulation, someone who can legally find the offender and punish.
It turns out that the regulation is good in a fair world, in an ideal world, but when everyone around is trying to get big profits by any means here regulation will not help.

A lot of people thinking about legal status of crypto. Some of them want to make it illegal. So why does cryptocurrency should be illegal? I have never heard a good arguments for making it illegal. People saying that crypto helps bandits clean their dirty money. Or that you can buy dangerous and illegal stuff and services with crypto. So what? It is not a reason to make cryptocurrency illegal. You can buy drugs and guns with fiat money too. And the fact that criminals cleans their money says that fiat money can be dirty too. So shouldn't we make fiat moneh illegal? Also people are saying that government and banks can't control it and that is why we should make crypto illegal. If so, then everyone who use barter is criminal. If you pay your friend for his help with tasty lunch then you should be in prison. Because government can't control tasty lunches.
there's so many reasons why some country consider crypto as illegal and most of the time it's because the government feel bothered with the presence of something decentralized that they cant control in case of cryptocurrency.
in this case, cryptocurrency will always be blamed for every bad thing as long as if the authority dont like so expect that.
2078  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: September 24, 2018, 07:58:50 AM
Yes, I believe that cryptocurrency is changing the world. example Japan America where cryptocurrency is equated to money
but that doesnt change anything in their eonomy other than adding other commodity (america consider crypto as commodity not money) and japan is trying to get benefit from crypto
other than that I dont think that crypto is really changing the world or atleast how people use money
2079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: September 19, 2018, 11:44:51 PM
It could be ethereum. Ethereum is a true outlier and it is the only crypto-currency believed by experts to be able to overtake Bitcoin Market cap in the near future. Ethereum started in 2013 and had 20x growth rate over the last 4 years.
20x growth? I don't think so, I remember the good ol days when Ethereum price is no more than $4
having know that cheap price I can say that the price of ETH has UP for more than thousands percent
and that's more than 20x
2080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: September 19, 2018, 11:42:09 PM
I would like such a currency to be less volatile, i want to be confident in the future and then I will completely switch to the crypto.
that will only happen when the market for cryptocurrency is matured and have capitalization big enough that make manipulation less likely to happen however there's still no guarantee that cryptocurrency can be as stable as gold because it's all always depend on people's mindset
