Taking a loan to speculate isnt a good idea, even when the chances are high. Its akin to gambling with a loan.
it's not gambling if you are so sure that the chances are for you and for the "casino".

End of 2014? Let's make it February 2014. LOL I didn't even notice that OP had "by the end of 2014" in the topic's name. 5k is very near future. by the end of 2013 would be the right wording.

~10000$ will be the new ~100$
|
|
|
Will we ever see $1000 again?
|
|

You lost me at "never spend", sorry, I'm in total bull mode right now as it just hit 1000$ in gox.
|
|
|
I'm totally betting on it. We just hit 1000 in gox and now it goes full berserk. Crazy times have just begun.

Thanks for the post, especially for the use of the word "consolidation". I lately woke up in the middle of the night having some weird words in my mind, namely "consolidation centre". I wrote it down and went back to sleep, however I never quite figured it out what that message could have meant and this is the first time I see it in use. Indeed, we must be experiencing a consolidation then

Why does bitcoin need to grow exponentially forever??? It would actually work much better if it didn't...
Also, by this logic, most publicly traded companies would be pyramid schemes. Almost all investments are pyramids. What makes an investment a scheme is a useless idea that suckers people into buying. You can believe bitcoin is a useless idea, but many very bright folks would genuinely disagree.
Why do you even bother to argue these people , it's totally their loss that they fail to understand what bitcoin really is.

I get this asked a lot: "So you can cash out whenever you want?".. So I asked the guy who asked me this "What would you do if you had a lot of money? What would you do with it?" and guess what he answered - "I'd put it in a bank to earn interest on it." So this is our common intelligence out there. I would have never thought that regular Joes are so stupid that they would hold their fiat in a bank as an investment or something But about the topic - it would be interesting to see a growth chart of pretty much everything on it. I'd like to see how gigantic is bitcoin compared to every other asset and what not out there.

OP is right on the money. This morning I observed a burning bush on my way to the office. After removing my sandals, a booming voice said, "Bro, its gonna go BANANAS and YOLO's for bitcoin." Those exact words.
Then I heard the sound of a hot mic hitting the stage and the fire went out.
Speaking of the Burning Bush... It was my favourite part in DNF http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=-7f6eteRQ4M#t=96

In addition to seeing a lot of dreams, including lucid dreaming and astral travel, I back my gut feelings up with some self proclaimed TA , have a look:

OP might be right. We are not crashing, this was just a spike. I foresaw this spike in a dream a bit more than a week ago when price was just 300$ in gox. However, I was to scared to be wrong so I didn't make a topic for it but just mentioned it in another thread ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=328823.msg3529296#msg3529296). I planned to temporarily cash out a bit in the range of 900 - 1000 but bitstamp fucked me with the verification lag and thus I didn't profit from the spike

bitcoin is best used as part of your portfolio. i dislike having lots of cash. it is constantly losing its value as it is being printed like crazy every day. 10% cash, 15% gold, 20% silver, 20% bitcoin, 35% oil/land.
I agree, just courious about the oil. Where you store the oil ? I'm bearish on oil. This shit has to end. We don't actually need oil for anything. These monopolistic fuckers just suppressed Nikolai Tesla's greatest inventions and are now trying to get the most out of it until they can.

10 000+ prices will be reality sooner than expected mostly due to the bubble that we are about to enter once we reach 1000+ prices. The price will rise to 17 000$ per BTC and will then drop down to 3000$. At least this is what I saw in my dream last night. It makes me confident that the current rally will continue for quite some time.

People who register during rallies should not be allowed to post to speculation subforums. The moronic newbie posts are getting annoying.
There we go again with "moron".. sigh. And if you:re referring to me, I have been around this forum since last spring. I really weep for any of you guys who are becoming so deluded that you absolutely refuse to hear any opinion that conflicts with your bullish optimism. Don't worry, bro, I didn't refer to you nor anyone specific personally. It's just that I see dumb posts by people in newbie status a lot these days so there has to be a correlation between that phenomenon and the price rally.
