1081  Economy / Economics / USD/EUR dead cat bounce? on: July 07, 2015, 04:19:13 PM
I need a certain amount of money to be held in fiat but as I see EUR dropping against USD I am losing confidence in holding euros. The USD/EUR chart looks more and more like a dead cat bounce before next downward fall that could bring us to 1:1 relation between USD and EUR. I started to think that it would make sense to buy bitcoins for most of my EUR reserves and then buy nubits for the bought bitcoins because 1 NBT is pegged to 1 USD. That way I am safe from bank raids and also get to keep my wealth in USD rather than in falling EUR. When I need to use that wealth I can quickly convert the nubits back to bitcoins and bitcoins back to euros and use them locally.

But, what's the general opinion? Is EUR indeed experiencing a dead cat bounce?
1082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $50k before Xmas on: July 07, 2015, 04:08:57 PM
This prediction can indeed become true and it doesn't conflict with my prediction of 4000$ per BTC in 4 months. It only further validates my prediction.
1083  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fractal analysis shows Bitcoin to reach $100k+ in 2017 on: July 07, 2015, 01:28:08 PM
It's no fantasy, you are not puting things into perspective. BTC marketcap is ridiculously low for all the things that it could disrupt. It only takes a couple of legitimate whales to decide the time is now, which then will lead more common investors that are doubting still to get in as well. As a result, we get a huge bubble and after it bursts we'll be on a way higher floor than we ever saw before. This cycle will repeating for 2+ decades until the price is ridiculously high and BTC accepted everywhere.

+1

All you bears are short sighted and fail to understand the fundamentals of bitcoin. In addition, you probably have no idea how our current monetary system operates and in what a corrupt world we live in. Bitcoin will help us to eradicate the financial parasites from our system. Do you have any idea what parasites can do to their host? Learn some deep shit about parasites and see the before and after pictures of infested organisms to get an idea.
1084  Economy / Speculation / Re: 4000$ bitcoins in 4 months on: July 07, 2015, 01:17:42 PM
There is no thoughtful analysis here. Cyprus alone was not the cause for the 16x gain

Greece is not exactly like Cyprus

If there is a rally there is no reason to assume it will be 16x

Each 16x gain will be much harder than the last

Don't try to force your assumptions on my OP.

I never said that the peak of the next bubble is 4000$. I said that we will see 4000$ bitcoins in 4 months. And obviously, Greece and Cyprus are not exactly the same, come on you smart ass, why state the obvious? Also, even if we had a thoughtful analysis, there is never any guarantee. Analysis get wrong all the time. Crystal ball predictions get right sometimes. You may die tomorrow, you have absolutely no guarantee. Your doctor may come up with an elaborate health analysis that says you will live 100 years old yet tomorrow you will die. Stop living as if you were immortal and had all the time in the world while in reality you only have now.
1085  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] B&C Exchange - A decentralized exchange paying BTC dividends on: July 07, 2015, 11:09:33 AM
Would it make more sense to buy blockshares or nushares at this point?  As I understand, nushares will earn blockshares.  How will they be distributed to NSR?  A snapshot?

Since B&C Exchange will utilize nubits, buying nushares is still a smart decision because there will be symbiosis between nubits and B&C Exchange.
1086  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to cash out 500k euro? on: July 06, 2015, 09:54:44 PM
I don't think this topic is about laundering money. I would be totally willing to pay the taxes and cash out as legally as possible but I know that banks and the police hate bitcoins so they would try to fuck me in the ass as much as possible. Even when you do everything legally you can still be discriminated because the entities in power hate you for being involved in the bitcoin business.
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: 4000$ bitcoins in 4 months on: July 06, 2015, 04:43:48 PM
it's quite funny to see how a very high ranked hero member thinks the impossible will happen within a few months. if you really believe yourself then go all in right now.

Impossible? You clearly don't have a clue what bitcoin is capable of. BTW, I'm all in since 2012. Now there is simply no point for me to buy any more bitcoins because the bitcoins that I could buy today with my monthly salary would be just a drop in the ocean in comparison to the coins I accumulated in 2011 and 2012.

well there no fundamentals to the prediction.  OP is correctly identifying the start of a bull trend, but it is not THE trend that would take us to such a high level so soon.  I'd be stoked if we get back to the $500-$600 range in the next four months.

You clearly have no idea how quickly and unexpectedly things can change.

not gonna happen for sure mate  , there won't be any big pump on Bitcoin price unless we reach the next halving block reward or two . which will be next 2016 and the other one on 2020 or something .

How is the current situation any different from 15th of October 2013 when I made this post? No one was expecting 1200$ bitcoins. People were telling the same shit that we should wait for the next halving and what not.

We have only 6 months left in 2015 and last year I saw 3 dreams:

2014 indeed turned out to be rather conservative in terms of price. This leaves only 6 months for the shit to hit the fan. Something big will happen this year and bitcoin will profit from it. Should we get to the ATH, 4000$ bitcoins are a rather pessimistic prediction.
1088  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to cash out 500k euro? on: July 06, 2015, 03:29:34 PM
Talk to your bank. It may not be a problem.

Re:Nubits, I'm sure this is a newbie question, but who guarantees liquidity? I don't see how a peg like that could be accomplished without counterparty risk.

From here

https://nubits.com/about/faqs#which-is-the-most-stable

"For those users who care purely about stability, NuBits is the best option. To date, NuBits has held its peg at $1.00 US stronger than any other competitor. It also offers the greatest amount of liquidity. This means that should you decide to sell your NuBits, you can be reasonably sure that you will get $1.00 US for each one of them."

Errr,

I'm out.

The concept is an interesting one. It sounds a little bit like the worst of both worlds though.

It's the best of both worlds. You're overly paranoid about it. If you want to participate in the NuBits system just buy some nushares and you can vote democratically on the nushares block chain about important network decisions. It's an anonymous autonomous decentralized organization, it's driven by stakeholder democracy and it solved the volatility problem the best way it can be solved. But I guess people like you will start to trust nubits once it has existed long enough and successfully kept the peg because there is no better proof than the history of the nubits price. It hasn't lost a peg not even once since its creation. While keeping 500 000 euros in nubits right now might be a little too much in such an early stage of nubits existence, in the future it wouldn't be so bad idea.
1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500,000 per Bitcoin, baby. The math behind it. on: July 06, 2015, 01:33:13 PM
I wanna believe your theory  Wink but, I frankly say .... is it really possible  Huh
 Grin Cheesy Smiley

Everything that is possible IS POSSIBLE. If it's not impossible, then it must be possible. Basic laws of the universe. Is it possible for you personally to get sick ass rich by holding bitcoins? Now that's separate question. Most of you bulls here fail to grab this once in a lifetime opportunity and GO ALL IN. You will get your profit as a nice lottery winning but that profit won't be significant.

You don't have any time at all to test it out and see if you can double your 200 euro investment before investing a significant amount of fiat. If you hesitate, you are already a loser. The honey badger does not hesitate. It is your basic human right to become sick ass rich, now exercise that right.

If we, the bulls, all honestly believe that we have every right in the world to be part of the greatest redistribution of wealth in the history of mankind, then this will happen. It's sorcery and our rulers have been doing this for centuries with their bizarre rituals (reptiles are very ritualistic). We, however, have been dumbed down by the mass media and education system to believe ridiculous shit such as that making career and working hard is the only socially acceptable path to prosperity and good life.

If you go all in, you can be sure that you will be tested by the machine. The matrix tries to shake you out at all cost.
  • You will throw away your 10000 bitcoins with trash at time when the coins costed perhaps only 1$.
  • You will lose your coins by making dumb assumptions such as that the coins on your address will remain there after you have made a 0.0001 BTC test transaction, ignoring the fact that your remaining 9999.9999 coins were sent to a change address. By the time you realize your mistake, you have already deleted the wallet.
  • You will lose your coins because you used Windows OS and a trojan stole them.
  • You will lose your coins because you wanted to test out the martingale strategy on satoshidice.com.
  • You will lose your coins because you hold them on an exchange and it got hacked/went rogue.
  • You will lose your coins because of daytrading. You bought high, sold low and turned into a bitter duck fucker.
  • You will lose your coins because you spend them on an ASIC that will mine you less coins than it originally costed.
  • You will lose your coins to pirateat40 or similar scams.
  • You will lose your coins because you go all in on scam and shitcoins such as the AuroraCoin and PayCoin.

Such things happen only to break your will and play on your petty human emotions in the future, making it hard for you to buy in again. It is demotivating to lose your stash and this will filter out the majority of early adopters who subconsciously believed that they don't deserve to become a rich motherfucker. At the end of the day, it is your personal mindset and description of the world that will determine your monetary outcome. The system feeds on the energy you radiate with the emotions you express as you lose your stash and it will play all the nasty tricks on you to pump that energy out of you. You don't get rich by being so much better and smarter than everyone else. You get it by understanding how this universe really operates. The stuff they teach you at school is mostly deception. They even teach you wrong history, especially about the colonization of America (where the slaves came from, how America got its name, for example).
1090  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hey, What Do You Think The Price of Bitcoin by end of this week? on: July 06, 2015, 12:31:47 PM
It's difficult to say because we are entering the danger zone where people start getting anxious and dump the price down a bit (small downward corrections). It can easily be that we close the week with a price such as 271 or 265 but top out at 284$ somewhere in the middle of the week.
1091  Economy / Speculation / Re: 4000$ bitcoins in 4 months on: July 05, 2015, 09:52:06 PM
Are you serious? Or just another useless speculation of the price?

I am seriously speculating and yes, we are in the speculation forum section, this is what we do here, all day every day.

Will you buy 1 btc for 4k dollars ?

It doesn't matter what the price is if you need to transfer wealth. I personally don't need to buy a single bitcoin ever again but I'm more than sure that there are people willing to pay 4k for a bitcoin.

Oh sorry I forgot ... we are in the speculation forum section.

//sarcasm.

WTF. Learn to use sarcasm.

However, I will be happy if the price will raise to 500 dollars so I can dump al my coins XD (who wants 4k dollars per btc).

And you will become yet another duck fucker, bitter for selling their bitcoins at 500$ when the price has stabilized at 5000$.
1092  Economy / Speculation / Re: Weekly Parabolic SAR just turned bullish on: July 05, 2015, 09:33:06 PM
does this indicator repaint?

not sure what you mean by that, but you can read this and hope it answers your question.
1093  Economy / Speculation / Re: 4000$ bitcoins in 4 months on: July 05, 2015, 08:12:12 PM
logarithmic price charts lie to you about the real price action picture.

Does not matter in this context. We are in green for the 5th week in a row and bitcoin has seen 16x increase in value in the past. Extrapolate and you will get the same results as I did. Btw, non-logarithmic charts lie even more.
1094  Economy / Speculation / 4000$ bitcoins in 4 months on: July 05, 2015, 07:59:54 PM
In the beginning of 2013 bitcoin traded at 15$ and went up to 250$ in the following 4 months. That's 16x rise! We are currently at 270$, 5 weeks green in a row, exactly as it was before the Cyprus crisis.

270*16 = 4320

1095  Economy / Speculation / Re: Weekly Parabolic SAR just turned bullish on: July 05, 2015, 07:30:18 PM
I think Greece is overrated.

But as long as people are betting on it to have an influence, it might influence the price, even if no greek people buy bitcoin.

It's too late for the Greeks to start buying bitcoins but their situation encourages other nations to buy as a preventative measure! In that sense, Greece is perfectly relevant in this context since they started the snowball effect. They are not overrated. Is sperm overrated in comparison to a baby being born 9 months later? Greece has a very important role in this scenario and even though Greeks themselves don't buy the coins so much they are the catalyst to the global buying frenzy.
1096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Weekly Parabolic SAR just turned bullish on: July 05, 2015, 01:08:55 PM
4th week confirmation and we have been in green for 5 weeks in a row now! 5 weeks! This has not happened for 1.5 years. The bear market is now officially over. A new chapter in the bitconi's price has just begun. The price chart should soon start showing the first signs of exponential rise. Instead of 270$ prices we are probably going to witness 280$ prices this week.

1097  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to cash out 500k euro? on: July 02, 2015, 09:35:30 PM
Talk to someone like Bitpay or Second Market and find yourself an OTC deal. Maybe some of the exchanges have dark pool buyers as well.

No reason why a bank should shut you down. It's your property. You sold it. Plenty of people get more money landing in their account due to inheritances or property sales every day of the week. If you feel you deserve to not pay tax on it then that's your problem.

Large transfers get investigated. Links to bitcoin are automatically suspicious. I wouldn't risk with this, even when paying taxes properly. Definitely do it in small chunks so that they wouldn't be able to freeze your whole stash.
1098  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to cash out 500k euro? on: July 02, 2015, 09:15:46 PM
That's a good question. I would definitely not try to do this all at once. If you need to protect your wealth from volatility then you could keep that wealth in nubits since 1 NBT is always equal to 1 USD. Then you would gradually cash it out. Oh, and most banks are hostile towards bitcoin. Choose carefully to which bank you withdraw the money. For example, SwedBank is hostile towards BTC while LHV is friendly (they even launched their own internal cryptocurrency). Also, LHV partners with CoinBase, so you should first become a customer of a bitcoin friendly bank that partners with CoinBase. I would avoid banks as much as possible because they are the enemy. I think the safest bet would be to form a legal contract with another person to trade your bitcoins for their property. After that, selling the property conventionally for cash might be safe.
1099  Economy / Speculation / Speculation: Greece abandons the euro and adopts bitcoin on: July 02, 2015, 09:01:10 PM
http://rt.com/op-edge/271003-greece-bailout-default-scenarios/

Quote
Greece abandons the euro and adopts bitcoin - a lovely idea which would at least guarantee citizens could no longer be subject to summary devaluation at the knee. Alas only slightly more plausible than lenders accepting a No vote is a basis for debt relief.

Seeing this in RT is definitely bullish for bitcoin since it somehow reflects the Russian agenda. Also, it's positive marketing for bitcoin and shows where it could be used. If Greece adopts bitcoin then the price of bitcoin would definitely rise to 5000$ per bitcoin.
1100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Correction over. on: July 02, 2015, 01:24:14 PM
Next stop 284$ (hopefully next week and not this week for the sake of stable rise)

I saw it in a dream today in the morning.
