2061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will altcoins ever recover their value? on: November 03, 2018, 09:43:25 PM
However altcoins are expected to recover once bitcoin touch around 12000dollars until then altcoins downtrend will continue altcoins holders should wait patiently for price growth.
It would be really weird if people didn't want to purchase Bitcoin if the price pumped that high. The markets should recover because of FOMO.
Some opinion believe that at the total market cap of $400b and more, traders will try to put some fund into altcoin to trade with and earn some bitcoin. $12000 will give more than $400b of the total market cap. It might probably spring up pumps and dump among altcoin while it rises gradually. However, am still struggling to understand why altcoins are so affected by bitcoin slump

New Stablecoin Tied to Australian Dollar Is Launching on Stellar's Blockchain

A new stablecoin is launching on the Stellar blockchain that's designed to hold its value with the Australian dollar (AUD) and is being pitched for consumer and business uses.

Announced Tuesday at the Money 20/20 conference in Las Vegas, Novatti Group, an Australian online payments processor, will issue the Novatti AUD Utility Token beginning on November 19. The token will be backed 1-for-1 with AUD held in a trust.

While traditionally, stablecoins have been a tool for cryptocurrency traders to move money quickly between exchanges, Novatti envisions its token being used for more common use cases, like remittances or purchases.

technically, stellar is superior, and a really nice currency. but I wonder why they use Stellar blockchain to create a stable coin? they could create coins on their own blockchain.

Because it is a public platform. The public blockchain is transparent and reliable. And in the case of Stellar , this is also a fast and cheap blockchain.
Public, transparent, fast, cheap - is it not componenets of a successful project? I think yes, and Stellar has even more.
I like the name most of all other - Stellar Lumens. Sounds great Smiley
OK, I agree that creating this stablecoin is a good step, looks like this project is still in the right track. stellar about to explode again.

Do they necessarily need new stable coin if one exist already on the platform? Stellar should remain an asset for exchange, trade, stock, voting etc
2063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is this? JP Morgan Quorum on: November 02, 2018, 08:42:59 PM
Reading through the thread gives the idea of the reason of the negative news from JP morgan on his notion possible outcome of the ETF next year. It almost got me worried but that seem to be the only bad news have heard on ETF decision.
2064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HybridBlock: All-In-One Cryptocurrency Trading Ecosystem on: November 02, 2018, 08:16:27 PM
I cant remember the price at ICO. I need some clarification on it. The OP wrote $ 0.3 whereas icobench gave the price of $ 0.2. I participated the crowdfund and forgot the price but I need the information for projection.

It was $0.3. Presale was $0.2
the project has a lot to at least to get to the ICO price. In few hours we have seen a slight surge in price but still requires x15 to get back to the ICO price
2065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Ethereum on: November 01, 2018, 07:40:11 PM
I was not very good about Ethereum, but Vitalik's statement gave hope for the cloudless future of this project, let's See if it will go away or not.

What was the statement he made?
2066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Raincheck - Global loyalty & rewards points exchange aggregator on Stellar on: November 01, 2018, 07:21:37 PM
The ICO had been announced to extend till Q2 2019 except the $28million is reached earlier. Such a long extended ICO sometimes worries me because they might get out of noticed from investors except they are actively involved physical campaign in most conferences and seminars where they allowed the gathering of prospective investors and they could meet with them, most especially when bounty had ended earlier.
2067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌲[ANN]RootProject - First Tax-Subsidized Cryptocurrency on: November 01, 2018, 07:13:07 PM
It is disheartening that the project is struggling to get on exchange and are not ready to talk about it. The idea of token auction is still odd and depriving to any token owners and investors. Is it wrong to invest in any project from USA now? They should please review their course/roadmap and make provision for investors
2068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: October 31, 2018, 08:13:39 PM
I agree you, Many Investors think to buying on Market after the ICO because investors know that token price will going down and can buying lower price. I think, we should make investment this way too. We can make more money this way and easier. In bear season, this thing is the best choice not ICOs investment.
Yup, buying coins on the market is not better than buying it on an exchange after the coin is listed.
What is the difference between  buying on market and exchange?
2069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]Cardstack: The Experience Layer of the Blockchain + Tally Protocol on: October 31, 2018, 08:02:02 PM
Good to see some movement at last!
Of course Cardstack is long-time investment, but good project should not have low valuation in short-term, too.
However I am afraid of overall market condition.. in another situation I'd Cardstack now definitely

don't worry that some projects from China have had good progress, especially now that China has agreed to bitcoin,
surely the altcoin will soon rise, especially CARD
What does a project from Switzerland has to do with china, what does china's agreement has to do with Cardstack? since the news broke of china renewed interest in bitcoin there has been no move on the space let alone on Cardstack. News are getting interesting about cardstack and I hope it can get its ICO price by the end of the year.
2070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] 🔥 WPP ENERGY - BACKED ASSET GREEN ENERGY TOKEN 🔥 on: October 31, 2018, 07:49:01 PM
I think the ICO was proposed to end by Dec 20, why is the spreadsheet extended to the last of this year, Dec 31? It is really getting one weary participating the bounty campaign with such a long period of campaign, now more weeks are being added against the proposed date.
2071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is our money in crypto? on: October 30, 2018, 11:22:36 PM
Hacking bounty hunter is getting a cheap money. How much does bounty earn? quite low to be considered for the time spent on hacking. We can try to keep our wallet safe but no one is beyond been hacker. Even more careful wallet owners had been hacked. Sometimes one need to pray they dont hunt him because no one is too fortified.
2072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Did bounty hunters really get token for free? on: October 30, 2018, 11:13:50 PM
If we consider from a financial point of view, we can say that bounty hunter gets a token for free. But he spends on his work more a valuable resource. He's wasting his time. Lost time cant be returned and therefore bounty hunters have every right to dispose of their remuneration at your discretion. And no should not say that he receives tokens for free.
The purpose of bounty campaign is to advertise projects to investors and most time they dont pay in other coin but the share of the token from the ICO. To recipients of such token they share in the loss and gain of the token. The forum may not be to earn such a cheap money but it is still reward for work not an outright gift. I can consider airdrop still to free token not signature campaign not social media. A forum that rules are getting stricter for activities, It still demands a level of skill to keep your post on the forum.
2073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ETERBASE: Europe's Premier Digital Asset Exchange on: October 29, 2018, 05:54:24 PM
I am sure Eterbase can compete with cryptocurrency exchanges that already exist today, it seems that not only I am waiting for this exchange to open
The staff are really benefiting from the forums, where they could get into wealth of experience of long time traders. They seem open minded to opinions of investors and interested individuals, always promising to implement those ideas if they found them beneficial to the exchange.

I read all over the forum that people are complaining that the mining is not profitable because of the low token price.
2075  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/pasting) here. Calling for Mod action: please permban on: October 29, 2018, 02:22:46 PM
I never knew how grievous plagiarism is on this forum until recently when several accounts ban were reported, permanently ban. It call for concern that we dont need the desperation to post and impress. I need moderator to be only soft on double post, I have made the mistake sometimes due to internet provider's bad network. Have learnt not to plagiarize and in case of quoting some data I even make references in my own little way.
2076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: October 29, 2018, 02:15:14 PM
If he bought at the time he opened the thread and sold by January or February he should have already made his profit. At the end of march the thread is no more useful to him. Some information like this at that time might help anticipating investor to dare the risk and have an idea of potential unit to risk but if he didnt take his profit at the right his investment would have been a waste.
2077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Choosing a Bounty Campaign? on: October 28, 2018, 12:51:04 PM
you can joın sımdaq sıgnature campaıng , they have best campaıng ın forum as dıstırbutıng tokens ıf you check total token supply, sımdaq has 25m total supply and they wıll dıstırbute more than 120k sımdaq token ın bıtcoın talk sıgnature campaıng, 15 post weekly and token for each post after 15
Am always selfish with signature campaign I got interested in, since more people will reduce my stakes. For long period I stopped social media campaign due the massive turnout. Most participants can have more than 10 accounts on a campaign and all forum members can participate at the same time whereas the labour required has not reduce to get a substantial reward. Some people even use my account to benefit from social media without my consent, it is the new fraud trend.
2078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: October 28, 2018, 12:43:30 PM
The trend is changing with the ban. Government are getting relaxed with their laws but are demanding a control in the space within their community. Some governments are seeing some infrastructural developments from crypto-projects with energy/power, health etc. in their localities. They now understand that it is beyond bitcoin, drugs, arms and fraud. Daily, people are seeing the relevance of blockchain with adoption into their idea, and this will increase. Some are devising a tax system to have a share in the wealth but no country may make it a legal entity for trade not even in the nearest future.
2079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin of 2019 on: October 27, 2018, 04:16:39 PM
As we make our way through Q4 2018, based on what has been seen among altcoins such as development, innovation, security, real-world use cases, and plans for the next year, what altcoins do you think will be big in 2019?

I think NEO will grow up again, and will replace ETH for 2nd place.
and I saw new little coin will grow up into giant coin.
LOKI, loki is new project with great development, they have good funding.
and already listing on cryptopia if next year loki listing on big market like binance, bitrex or coinex I think it is will be good investment place.
The competition as platform is now more stiff . NEO, stellar, rootstock, ethereum, NEM etc. will join the rivalry. Ethereum advantage will still be it advent into the space early. These platforms are improved versions though do not have that big communities like in ethereum but time will distinguish them. I lost my confidence in the steady fall of ethereum this year without resistance except when XRP dumps it from the second position.
2080  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: NEWERA - SCAM ICO - Fake team/ Stealing on: October 27, 2018, 04:03:16 PM
thank you guys for helping us, our website and profile link has been changed by someone from our team who betrayed us.
we have taken over the newera project and I have to start over again

You can't just put a new set of fake pictures and think it will be alright, it doesn't work like that.

The part that someone has betrayed you is fucking retarded and we have heard it at least a dozen times already, as shitty excuse as you can find by the way.

Please take your scammy project and disappear.
well maybe we have been hit by a bad image that was made by one of our team and maybe we are no longer trusted here.
but we will not leave the project that we have made, we will try it as much as possible even if we have little support
What you need is to defend the allegations not showing some emotional spell? You dont seems to understand what ICO means, requesting for people's money for your business. Now some scams are exposed and you are talking about hatred.
