i found one coin that has one special program for noobs to mine it with cpu or gpu just with 3 click, like plug and play, i wish we have this for DNotes its really good weapon to global adoption. and really good for securize network, if you find 1 milions cpus arround the wordl the network its 1000% healtier than 1000Mhas individual miner, and produce a not stressing join in crypto world, so good. everybody can join the network and produce his coins with 3 clicks

left link take a look to noob miner https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=408268.msg10170256#msg10170256

what do you think is possible we have that for DNotes?

Very interesting concept. Basically makes mining much easier for someone who is interested in mining. I can see the value as a marketing tool.

This is not something we want to get involved over the near term. The amount of technical support will overwhelm our precious resources, including this valuable forum we have worked hard to build. There are unintended consequences people in our industry often failed to realize. A good example is the proof of stake. I have visited many forums with POS and noticed a large percentage of their forum postings were POS technical support related.

However, it is a project we are very interested in at some point in the future and it fits perfectly well with the potentially very number of account holders we will have then. By the year 2020 there will be over 5 billion smart cell phones worldwide with immense computing power and other customed features. That will be a great time to have a few million people mining DNotes worldwide using their cell phones.  We could be starting this project much earlier, of course.

One of our greatest assets is our discipline and ability to remained highly focused working on projects that matter most at that period in time. It is just as important not to get ahead of technologies but always be deeply informed and well positioned to participate in and exploit them at the most opportune time.

The first mover advantage is often over estimated. Pioneers often pay a very high price and struggle just to stay alive, avoiding many pitfalls, while allowing others who come from behind to learn from their mistakes and take full advantage on what has been accomplished and paid for. Good timing is invaluable.

The Easter long weekend is a great opportunity to help friends and family by telling them about the CRISP programs.  Many students go home for the weekend, and a one on one conversation about the CRISP For Students may be with a person that will tell everyone they know.  I don't look at this as advertising, but rather as helping the people you care about.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

             Smiley Smiley

Thanks, Chase. That is a great idea. All of our CRISP projects are intended to help others gain some financial freedom, if they are willing to help themselves by consistently saving a little for the long term.

Have a great Easter weekend everyone!!

Subject: Bitcoin Alternative Digital Currency DNotes

Hello,

I am Alan Yong, Co-Founder of DNotes, a Bitcoin alternative digital currency. I trust that you are well aware that digital currency is considered by many technology visionaries, including myself, as the greatest technology revolution since the internet. It will be the most disruptive technology our generation has witnessed, causing a quantum shift with world changing implications including massive job and wealth creation. Many universities are now considering offering classes related to digital currency………………………………..

Quote from TeeGee:

I really like this. These universities are going to jump at the opportunity to have a high profile entrepreneur visit their students and talk about small and medium sized enterprise and the future of money with digital currency. There are many different faculties that you could speak to, from the top of my head: finance, economics, business studies, computer science, crypto studies (if offered - which you could become the lecturing component of the preceding courses if it isn't).

DNotes is doing what everybody else is not, I can't wait until I meet somebody who mentions DNotes before I have a chance to!

Quote from Dyna

It will take a little bit of time but I am confident this will be the most efficient use of my time. DNotes is already a proven success story. We will continue to follow a strategic path based on our own time schedule. This will be a very interesting year as DNotes get discovered by more and more people.

Many of our investment decisions are made based on available options and choices. Given the time and knowledge of available options, as a group, we always make the best choice. For many large investors today, Bitcoin is the only known option. DNotes will eventually change. That day may not be more than a year away. Smart investors will stay invested for the long term while others will cash out for a small spread. The greed and fear factor of investors will forever remain the same. Don’t expect DNotes to be treated and differently

I got a student to sign up for a CRISP account today who couldn't believe that DNotesVault is a free service, and was shocked to receive some DNotes. Keep up the good work, this program will be VERY well received.

There might come a time when students around the world could not find a good reason for failure to sign up for CRISP For Students months ago when 1 (one) free DNotes was still given to each new account. I trust that Chase will repost this quote when it happened.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've added new questions to the DNotes Education Tool (available on Google Play). These new questions were submitted by Chase and Infovortice. Along with the quiz, I've included an information index to include basic Digital Currency terminology, definitions, and other important information. The quiz is impossible to fail, and is designed to teach people of every intellectual level. It will also relieve the often painstaking task of explaining Digital Currency to someone who is technologically illiterate.

Please test it out, and leave your feedback.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tool.DNotesEDU

The information database of this app will continue to grow, and will be incorporating ideas from the DNotes community every step of the way.

I think it's a great idea that you are involving the community in this!  Maybe this app can help tame public misconceptions and the "media beast".  I have another question you can use if you like it:

Which of the following ground breaking innovations was originally thought to have little chance of success?
a)  The automobile
b)  The internet
c)  digital currency
d)  all of the above

Note:  Many early investors went on to make their fortune in the automobile and internet industries. The digital currency industry is still in it's infancy.

Great question, it's been added.

Excellent work. I am following the project closely and appreciate your contributions very much.

Moved the vault verifiable addresses to the guarantee page, made the most sense to me, if you don't like that option let me know. It's nice to have them at the top of the page, but it was a bit of an eyesore. Will work on the retirement history button shortly, after I wrap a few things up.

Great job. It's much cleaner. I like it. Thanks.

This article looks like a bit of media sensationalism.

"The document, ‘Blocking the Property of Certain Persons Engaging in Significant Malicious Cyber-Enabled Activities,’ which surfaced Wednesday, states that the measures are needed to counteract “an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security” posed by “cyber-enabled activities originating from, or directed by persons located, in whole or in substantial part, outside the United States.”

The document clearly states they are only targeting criminals "engaging in significant malicious cyber-enabled activities", located mainly outside of the U.S.  Those same people would have any other U.S. assets (including cash) frozen and not available to them.

Regulation against using cryptocurrency for criminal activity is a good thing for the industry.

I am 100% in agreement with Chase's comments. This is a very specific Executive Order to catch up with technology 'targeting criminals "engaging in significant malicious cyber-enabled activities", located mainly outside of the U.S'. No reasonable mind should fear that United States will be foolish enough to,at will,  seize fiat currency, digital currency or any property, foreign or domestic and expect to get away with it. The media exploited it for a sensational news story while skipping other more newsworthy subjects.

It will be the most disruptive technology our generation has witnessed, causing a quantum shift with world changing implications including massive job and wealth creation. Many universities are now considering offering classes related to digital currency.

What you may not know is that the most stable and innovative digital currency is located in Illinois. We have just issued a worldwide press release to work with schools, colleges, clubs and universities around the world with a project called CRISP For Students designed to assist students to get started with a digital savings account without having to pay for it, allowing them to gain immediate exposure and experience with digital currency - the future of money.

Being local, I will be delighted to work with anyone who is interested to take advantage of DNotes’ offer. I will make myself available as a guest lecturer and other speaking engagements if my schedule permits. I attended George Williams College, with a B.S. degree in Behavioral Science and earned my MBA at Northern Illinois University in 1976 and have been an entrepreneur since graduation, including founding Dauphin Technology, a high profile mobile computer company in the early 1990s.

Your kind assistance to pass this information to the right person will be well appreciated.

About DNotes:

DNotes is a cryptographically created digital currency based on a novel decentralized peer to peer model, where trust is replaced by mathematical algorithms, eliminating the need of an intermediary such as a bank or an automatic clearing house. Assets of value such as Bitcoin, DNotes, and other digital assets can be sent and received in minutes anytime, anywhere, worldwide without the oversight of any central authority. It takes as little as two simple cell phones, or computers with an internet connection to send and receive funds. It does not require, transmit, or store any personal information and the two parties do not need to know or trust each other to successfully complete the transaction at little to no cost.

Cryptocurrency Student Debt Solutions Offered by Bitcoin Alternative DNotes
With Long Term Savings Plans For Students

Bitcoin Press Release: DNotes launched the first Cryptocurrency Investment Savings Plan (CRISP) For Students, aimed at providing them multiple solutions and opportunities. Universities, schools and clubs will be apportioned codes allowing enrolled students to register to be awarded 500 free DNotes.

Illinois, USA. Market stable cryptocurrency DNotes launches their third long term Cryptocurrency Investment Savings Plan (CRISP) for Students. Following the launch of CRISP for Kids and CRISP for Retirement. While Bitcoin has struggled with explosive volatilities, second generation Bitcoin alternative DNotes has achieved remarkable stability and reliable appreciation since inception, making it a viable savings alternative with potential high returns that could help students avoid crippling student loan debt upon graduation.

DNotes Co-Founder Alan Yong explained that student debt hardship is a growing global problem, with damaging implications in future job and wealth creation for students. This global problem can be a great opportunity for DNotes and participating students. CRISP For Student mission is to engage and involve students worldwide to participate by having an ownership stake in the most innovative technology revolution since the Internet, positioning them to benefit from potential high returns and job opportunities. These students will become the next generation of DNotes’ leaders, innovators and stakeholders, who will provide further solutions to global problems.

We now live in a hyperconnected world and by the year 2020 more than five billion people worldwide will be equipped with smart phones that are even more powerful and feature rich. New technologies are making it possible to solve problems on a global scale we previously couldn’t. Bitcoin is one such technology considered by many as the most innovative and disruptive since the Internet. Essentially, Bitcoin is the future of money; a decentralized digital currency, coupled with an immensely powerful Blockchain that removes the need for trusted third parties in financial transactions.

Alan Yong, DNotes Co-Founder and pioneer of the first commercial tablet computer, warns that student loans are a major threat to long-term wealth accumulation and overall student well-being. Yong points to research by the Assets and Education Initiative (AEDI), that found students with outstanding debt, regardless of how little, are more likely to defer the purchase of revenue generating assets till later in adulthood. Yong added that,

“The current student generation may not have access to publicly funded retirement entitlements in the future. This is why the DNotes team has moved to alleviate inadequate private savings. CRISP For Students will assist students to get started with a digital savings account without having to pay for it, allowing them to gain immediate exposure and experience with digital currency - the future of money.”

DNotes Director of CRISP For Students, Timothy Goggin, said that universities, schools and related clubs will be apportioned codes that will allow enrolled students to register to be awarded 500 DNotes. Students will be asked to provide their code, e-mail, institution and course of study. If a student is unable to register, they will be prompted with instructions on how to best ascertain a code from their institution of study. Some students may also be employed to help the DNotes team with ongoing projects and marketing, while earning crucial work experience with people in the top of their field.

Central to DNotes long term strategic plan is the creation of highly scalable building blocks, as the foundation of its own ecosystem. Those strategic building blocks include CryptoMoms; a currency neutral site dedicated to encourage female participation, DNotesVault; free and secure storage for DNotes’ stakeholders with 100% deposit guarantee, and CRISPs; a family of Cryptocurrency Investment Savings Plans. CRISP for Students will become an integral part of DNotes ecosystem, with plans to include a conduit of scholar funds and an online global student marketplace. This is a global initiative to build the next generation of DNotes leaders and stakeholders, leading to mass consumer and mass merchant adoption of DNotes as a medium of exchange.

Universities, students, clubs and schools worldwide are invited to contact DNotes at contact@dnotescoin.com to arrange for distribution of free DNotes to students to initiate their cryptocurrency savings, and to learn of other exciting opportunities in the world of emergent digital currencies.

im saving plenty, think its a great long term investment  Smiley

Hi Litecoinkid. Welcome to the DNotes forum. You certainly have the right idea. I trust that you will do well with DNotes as a long term investment. Treat this as a high risk part of your total investment portfolio and stay with a disciplined regular investment plan. DNotes is very well positioned to take full advantage of the superior features of digital currency but must be grounded on stability, trust and integrity. Once there is mass acceptance of digital currency as a medium of exchange on a global scale, DNotes will be worth substantially more than 1.3 penny. DNotes total market cap is at $1.3 million today. It takes a lot more than that, just to be a minor player in global commerce.

We are positioning DNotes to be a major player. The true value of DNotes is in the future; by the year 2020 and beyond. That should be the mentality of long term investors. That is how many venture capital investors made their fortune. They studied business plans by the hundreds, picked a few to do a full due diligence and invest in one or two. If DNotes is one of your top picks, stay with it, if not keep on looking. That is the most objective advice I can offer. Hope that gives you some comfort and a better sense of direction.

Nice dnote price increase Smiley seems like the drop only lasted for a few days. Sad Also, is there a guide for maximizing your dnotes return?

Sorry, we do not have a guide for maximizing DNotes return. Long term investors in DNotes should consider CRISP for Retirement for a minimum of 5 years which is rewarded with a .7% monthly yield or 8.4% annually. The total bonus is limited to $1 million donated by a number of major stakeholders. DNotes is best considered as a long term investment for capital gain. DNotes is valued at about $0.013 or 1.3 penny today. Should it become one of the top 3 digital currencies in global commerce one day it will be worth substantially more. We hope millions of CRISP account holders will end up with a large holding and lots of DNotes to spend.

DNotes price has been increasing nicely. With better awareness of DNotes through our PR campaign its liquidity will improve leading to better price support. It is significantly undervalued based on its growth rate.

This is no April Fools joke, the CRISP for Students press release has reached TD Waterhouse.

http://research.tdwaterhouse.ca/research/public/Markets/NewsArticle/100-090p1384-1

Impressive! TD Waterhouse is a global financial powerhouse from online brokerage like TD Ameritrade, retirement accounts, banks, investment banking and to prestigous industry research. The news coverage on DNotes has reached millions of our target audience around the world.

We will maintain a sustained level of PR campaign to create the needed level of awareness for DNotes and our CRISP programs. We are fully aware that it is a huge challenge to be the digital currency of the future and will take many years to accomplish our multiple missions. We are relentlessly in pursuit of our goals everyday.

Important edit:

Unlike Industry publications such as Coindesk, Cointelegraph and others confined to readership within our industry, our PR campaign has an expanded coverage well beyond our industry. Do not be surprised, it could come a day when someone knows DNotes but has not heard of Bitcoin. It's a big world but that is our target.

APR 1 DIGEST: BitLicense Scrapped, Kim K and North Korea Squabble over ‘KimCoin’ Naming Rights
Ben Lawsly retracts BitLicense, North Korea launches "KimCoin," ShapeShift Integrates Winklecoin, Bitcoin creator unveils real identity, and more top stories that happened on April 1.

Lawsky Retracts BitLicense, Says Innovation is Preferable to Stagnation

Benjamin Lawsky, New York state superintendent of financial services, has suddenly retracted the BitLicense proposal, arguing that "we can not afford to stifle innovation in the monetary space."
Speaking at a press conference wearing a “Free Ross” T-shirt, Lawsky admitted he had been hasty in adopting his initial views on cryptocurrency, stating:

"Well, at first I wanted to stop Bitcoin, because my Wall Street banker friends were fearing for their jobs. My one banker friend, let's call him Danny, was like, 'Ben, I don't want to have to learn a new trade. Stop the Bitcoin, bro.'"

Lawsky continued:
"I realized that I am actually sick of using these banks myself. For example, HSBC recently closed my hidden Switzerland account. What, now I'm supposed to pay taxes?

So I've decided to retract the BitLicense. We just can't afford to stifle innovation in the monetary space, ya know? We need to get out from under the stagnation of banking cartels."

North Korea Announces New National Currency 'KimCoin'

In an unexpected move, North Korea has announced its plans to introduce its own digital currency KimCoin named after its supreme leader, Kim Jong-un. While it’s not the first nation to go digital (Ecuador, Philippines), the new digital currency could finally give its downtrodden economy a gateway to the global economy.

“KimCoin will enable the great nation of Korea to grow strong and prosper,” reads the official announcement from the National People’s Party. “The crowdsale will begin on April 2 with the goal of raising 4 Billion USD, half of which will go to cover our gross external debt, with the remaining share to be spent on a PR campaign spearheaded by -Dennis Rodman.”

Predictably, the scheme is already a source of controversy, but perhaps not for the reasons many expected. Kim Kardashian, whose husband Kanye West launched his own ill-fated currency Coinye in January 2014, is said to be suing North Korea over an alleged naming rights dispute.

“[…] And then I was like, ‘Bruce wants to be a girl, so there’s no way I’m gonna stand back and let a GUY named Kim get in there first – where’s the family support in that?’” she told CNN.

All, first ever bonus interest payment for CRISP for Retirement has been applied.

Excellent. This is a clear demonstration that the DNotes’ team and its communities are doing many things others won't or can’t do. We are adding value, everyday, to DNotes as the most stable digital currency and continued to build up our own ecosystems that we believe are most valuable and important at this formative stage. We will take the balance of this year to perfect and promote our phrase one infrastructure and will be ready to engage in a significant growth path starting early next year. DNotes should be quite well discovered by then.

DNotes price is getting some support today. It is significantly undervalued based on what we have accomplished over the last sixty days alone. This is still a ground floor investment opportunity. It is very encouraging that many financial news networks are covering DNotes. We are finally reaching a very important target, Wall Street and high net worth investors. Strategically, we are doing everything right. Practically, it takes time to build awareness, trust and credibility. We are relentlessly pursuing to accomplish multiple missions we believe will be the keys to our long term success.

It is important that anyone with family and friends who are students sign up for CRISP for students and assist TeeGee in any ways possible. Your efforts will be well appreciated.

My increasing work-load has reached the point that I can only contribute to this forum when I have a little time to spare. Please do your best to help out by keeping this forum with rich content and active discussion. Thank you.

I am blown away by the amount of media outlets that are picking up this press release, and increasing quality of them is impressive as well. Everyone involved did an excellent job.

There may already be some new DNotes users that want to start posting, but really don't know how to contribute. They may be afraid to propose ideas or ask questions, at the risk of sounding foolish. In my opinion there are no foolish questions, because even the most brilliant minds can overlook the simplest detail. That's why, I'm creating an educational app to teach beginners about digital currency. It will be a basic quiz app, with questions the DNotes community comes up with. In the full version there be an indexed directory of Digital Currency terminology, definitions, and random facts.

Any DNotes users can contribute, but I am hoping that we have some new users join us here and ask their questions. Not only will they receive answers, but their question will be included in the app, and they will be helping new DNotes users solve the same problem they faced.

Questions will be true/false and multiple choice. If you wish to submit terminology, definitions or random facts, try to keep it under 100 words.

Please test out the beta version and feel free to add your suggestions.

Sounds like you have a great project going. That could be very helpful. Digital currency and the blockchain related technologies will turn out to be a massive industry. We are positioning DNotes to gain a significant market share. We will continue our PR campaign to build awareness for DNotes and our ecosystem. Looks like we are getting noticed in the investment and financial arena. This will be a very exciting year as we continued to solidify our foundation. We are likely to see explosive growth starting next year.

DNotes launches digital currency student debt solution

DNotes has launched their third long term Cryptocurrency Investment Savings Plan (CRISP) for students.
DNotes co-founder Alan Yong explained that student debt hardship is a growing global problem, with damaging implications in future job and wealth creation for students. Strange to tell, having the detail below on a press release (or even having a press release . . . ):

"Contact Info:

Name: Alan Yong
Email: Contact@DNotescoin.com
Organization: DNotes"

is almost unheard of in crypto-currency development.

Six months ago, a particular coin (an Nxt asset) made it momentarily to the Top Fifteen on Coinmarketcap; but the 'marketers' of the product, apparently several dozen employees, hadn't even figured out that they should be locatable by crypto folk beyond their own coin's forum. They genuinely seemed oblivious to the notion that they should reach out to the world.

The coin is now 98% down in price.

Mark (IndiaMikeZulu), Australia

Mark, that is a great point. Our strategic direction is quite different. We welcome every one in our industry to join us, but our target extends beyond our industry. Accordingly, we are building our own ecosystem for the masses with every attempt to make the currency to be meaningful and valuable to as many people as possible. All these are done with trust and integrity. We are proud of what we do and like to share our success with as many people around the world as possible. CRISP For Students is another stepping stone of a major highway under construction.

I hope CNBC are on their game this time around, and don't take a full month to cover the release!

That was a great press release. We just have to continue hitting the right "notes" and one day the mainstream media will be our best friends. It will take more than a month. I won't stay up waiting for CNBC coverage yet.
