Bakayoko is an upgrade on Matic, Chelsea will be fine. They've spent a lot of money on Rudiger & Morata too. I don't expect the loss of Matic to hit them too hard.

It will be very hard season for FC Barcelona. There are lot of problems in their squad and today Real Madrid dominated without C. Ronaldo, Bale and Isco.
It looks that Barca don't know how to play in current formation with only 2 forwards. Also, Barca don't have attacking midfielders - Iniesta is already old, Rakitic is limited player and it's hard to find good words about Gomes. I'm sure that Paulinho is another signing of Barca.
And finally - defense. Pique makes so many mistakes. Umtiti is a godd player, but he is still young and plays unstable sometimes.
I believe that many people may start to blame Valverde if team results will be bad, but it's not his fault that previous coach Enrique and team board signed many average class players.
You are right. We could've seen how Real easily came up with win against Barcelona in these two matches, even without Ronaldo in last one. If they want to be competetive for Primera league title, they need to bring couple quality players and change formation... i expected real Madrid to win but not like this it is like Barcelona doesn't existe anymore true they created couple of chances but didn't find the net Real Defense was a top notch and i sad it before and i will say it again Barcelona Is GOING DOWN they are getting poorer and poorer not sure if Real is too strong for them or they are just not that good anymore the only good thing that is the other clubs is no match they are still too weak to compete if Barcelona were playing in england will find it hard to get on top 4 this season truly they need to work on bringing more frsh faces in the club they can't do much with this current squad. |

Chelsea is going to face huge difficulties in the 2017-18 season. if they will be failed to recruit the replacement of Matic then they will have a gap at this position. not only that but also Chelsea needs to sign some players according to Conte, but the management is showing indifference for this purpose.
for me, Manchester city and Manchester United have formed the most strong side in the English football. so I want to see the trophy either city or United football club. on the other hand, from my observation, Arsenal will pass another league trophyless season.
You have to consider that chelsea have 4 important absences : bakayoko, moses, pedro, and the most valuable player of the team Eden Hazard, Consequently, they only need to recruit another defensive midfilder and another striker to replace Costa's leaving. Chelsea is close to sign Leicester City Midfielder Drinkwater for a fee around 15£ Million so they got that spot covered the problem is to find a striker there is not many good strikers left that willing to go and the other possible ones will be difficult to sign because there is not much time left in the Mercato and the season started so teams wouldn't be selling players that they have plans for i think Chelsea need to bring a youngster from their academy because they had too many good young players that they sold before like Lukaku, Salah, and De Bruyne as examples. they have loads of talented youngsters but they didn't do their best way to work them in. |

Yesterday Ronaldo came in from the bench which means Real Madrid play without Ronaldo in the first half and play well enough. Really awesome, the teams from La Liga dominate the top ranks. This proves that the competition that will roll this August season will be fierce, and this also proves that the productivity of La Liga is superior to other top European leagues, although still less popular than the Premier League. La Liga is the top European league but it should be held in Asia as well because in Asia they are having a lot of fans. Pushing or putting a hand on the referee was stupid by Ronaldo, I know the referee wasn't hurt but it showed disrespect. The ban is about right in my opinion. Real should be able to cope for 5 games without him though.
Although starting from the wrong referee's decision against Ronaldo by giving a red card, but the referee must be respected by all players. Let's not push the referee, touch the referee when the protest was banned. The punishment given to Ronaldo shows how important the attitude of respect to the referee. the RFEF have given Cristiano 10 days to appeal for the second card so he have a chance to make it back to the second leg un the SuperCup if his appeal get approved first but for the rest 4 games don't think that he can escape those because he did that by himself he had no reason to touch and push the referee and he must get the punishment he deserve he got the lowest Punishment possible for it because for those type of faults could range from 4 to 12 games anyway the 4 games not that big (Deportivo La Coruna away ,Valencia home ,Levante home and Real Sociedad away) only the last one can be challenging but Real Madrid have a good bench that defintly will fill his role. |

It is too soon to conclude about this yet because it is only the first match. Most team has high motivation on their first match that is why we shall see again at the middle of the season. Alot of teams is going to be pressured when they reach the middle season especially when alot of injury strikes in There's no word too soon to hope a player to play his best game until the end of the season. If we say he will play his best game until the end of the season, it's too soon, but if hoping the best game of him until the end of the season is not too soon. I cant see any other scenario than Madrids win.
Barca lost Neymar this summer and he was a key player in this team. Moreover, Real Madrid are in a very good shape atm and Zidane knows how to win Barca.
If you are currently watching today's game, you will notice that though Barcelona are clearly dominating the game with regards to possession as usual but Real Madrid are clearly making inroads into their defence with more shots on goals, but with the magical Messi in the game, things can change very quickly. The result matches my expectations, Real Madrid won. But the referee's performance needs to be evaluated. Especially because they've made mistakes, and there are two very big mistakes, namely diving Suarez and Ronaldo's red card. Suarez is clearly diving but the referee gives a penalty kick. Then Ronaldo's red card, I do not think it's an offense, but it's not a diving from Ronaldo either. Ronaldo lost the balance, then there was little contact from Umtiti, Umtiti did not commit a foul, but Ronaldo will indeed fall. The loss for Real Madrid should be without Ronaldo in the next game. Althought the red card to Ronaldo, Real madrid made it and won 3-1 in the first EL Clasico of the season. Now Im raising my bet on Real Madrid to win the league. Ronaldo did the biggest mistake in the game when he removed off his shirt.. I mean, he probably knew that it is going to cause him to receive a yellow card, what was the reason to do that? Anyway Barcelona played well, Real scored when Barcelona's defense was away from the goal keeper. Yesterday 2 surprising results (liverpool 3-3 and Chelsea lost 3-2). Today, however, I expect Manchester United and Tottenham to win without any problems.
Chelsea can still win the Premier League this year but must buy at least 2-3 players because it currently has few players for a season of at least 60 matches!
The top contenders of the league(Spurs, ManU , Man City, Arsenal) have all started off well which will make it difficult for the blues to complete a double. And with Chelsea's poor display in defense, they can not find themselves in a position of winning it again regardless of being a man down in their opening match. I think next four games against Spurs, Everton, Leicester, Arsenal will see them not collect a single point because both attack and defense is weak. true Chelsea will drop a number of points before they get started in the league and when they get Hazard they will start to get more games which will be difficult to play with that tight squad and imagine if they started to just two or three starter for different reasons like injuries or cards so i doubt that they will be successfully defending Champions they need just to stay in top 4 and not let them make big gap like the season before last and for this season top three contendors would be both Manchester clubs with Liverpool if kept their key pkayers with Tottenham but Tottenham feels like don't have ambition for lufting the EPL. |

What do you think of Barcelona this season i don't expect from them to do much this seadon especially in the Chmpionsleague after today they looked very weak at defending mostly on their right side Alex Vidal was like the absent player in the field he didn't get back to cover his side also he didn't help in offense either most of the time we saw him give the ball back to Real Madrid also Defelou and Dennis Suarez were not the players that helped on the game and it may look that Neymar abscense made his teamate lose their momentum.

Draw for the group stages will be on August 24, 2017. That's around two weeks away more or less. This is something me and my cousins look forward to and get drunk on while watching because some of the draws are really up for laughs. Especially Arsenal. If they get the same group as Bayern again I would be soooo happy!  And I hope Liverpool makes it. Which Arsenal? If you mean Arsenal Wenger, then Bayern Munich will not be a group with them because Arsenal Wenger did not play in Champions league. They will play in Europa league. This season Arsenal will survive the obstacles of Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Am so sure that Barcelona and Bayern Munich will be so sorry that Arsenal their whipping boys are not in the Champions League, I am sure they are gonna find Tottenham and Liverpool FC will prove to good enough replacement for Arsenal this time around especially Tottenham who are not so good at playing in the Champions League. Liverpool although not in their top form and not in their glory years like they were a few years ago I am sure they will prove quite difficult for everyone encountering them in the Uefa Champions League. I am not a fan of Liverpool but in Champions league I am a fan of them. They wouldn't be the same team with that same dynamic last season. I haven't read any football news yet so I can't confirm, but my friend told me Coutinho has given his transfer request. Ouch. Liverpool must now decide whether they should keep a player who wants to leave. But if he keeps on playing with Liverpool it will not benefit both the teams and Coutinho. Sooner or later it will become evident that releasing Coutinho is a viable option for Liverpool. Barca are also looking at Ousmane Dembele, Angel di Maria and Ivan Perisic. Manchester United will face West Ham the hosts have won Europa League last season but didn't do well in Premier League and now the players want to get better results in this competition their aim this season is to get one of the top two spots in the league and they should have try to start making points because one of their rivals Chelsea have lost today and they will play against Tottenham next round so one of them will surely drop poitns and united need to make some space between them from early stages their opponents West Ham had average results in the summer so i expect from United take advantage of that and get all 3 points easily so MAnchester United -1AH

Coutinho hands transfer request to Liverpool via email and gets rejected by Liverpool. Looks like Liverpool are not going to budge. I understand that Coutinho is an integral part of their plan in the coming season but at what price would you say it is justt too hard to resist? 160 mil? just like what Dortmund expect for Dembele? I've also heard that Barcelona have diverted their interest towards Eriksen since it has become close to impossible to sign Coutinho. I think Daniel Levy is even a tougher negotiator than the ones at Liverpool and he will skin Barcelona alive for Eriksen. Probably 180 mil or close. Going to be interesting how things go for Barcelona from here. They have tons of cash now but no player really allowed to join them unless they pay some ridiculous sum for them.
for Coutinho it's still mixed reports where his i'ts comfirmed that Liverpool wouldn't let him leave especialy when their nexy game will be played in the next 24 hours also he requested to be transferred but it's not always we see the player leave when he requests to get out. To be honest Liverpool have no choice to keep him there is not a big time left for them to replace him unless they change their systeme of playing because Klopp have made plans that he will be a big part of. And for Barcelona poaching Erikson it's more easier to pull off this deal now because Levy he gave his number for Erikson and that is 120Million Euros so he is willing to sell but don't think he will drop any penny less then that. |
