2121  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you miss buying games on Steam by paying with bitcoin? on: July 14, 2021, 01:22:41 PM
Personally, I'd rather avoid those vices in order to hold more bitcoin, but that's just me.  The few vices I have don't need privacy and can be bought in cash quite easily.  Lol.
If you always have fiat to spend, yeah it's better to hold Bitcoin. But sometimes, you don't have fiat and only have your pile of Bitcoin if you went all in. Not everyone can have an exceptional quality of self-control to restrain the urge to shop, gamble, or whatever especially when bull market. In this situation, spending directly in Bitcoin is better than to go in/out crypto market. You'll still have to pay miner (tx) fee, plus withdrawal fee, except your Bitcoin is already in the exchange, which is rather scary.
2122  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 14, 2021, 01:08:00 PM
FYI now (well, I just know) you can change referral temporarily to take part in "referral specific" promotion. Simply go to account -> balances -> Create Referral Balance. It's a smart move so we don't have to create alt accounts just for challenges. The fun part is you can actually make profit from creating challenges if you are lucky ofc.
2123  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: July 14, 2021, 10:32:05 AM
It would be best if OP defines what is cryptocurrency before this debate can even start. Is CBDC a cryptocurrency? Is any token that uses blockchain/hashing can be categorized as a cryptocurrency? You know the government can build fiat on top of "blockchain technology" so why they need to replace it?
2124  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore, the banking industry, and Bitcoin on: July 14, 2021, 10:18:56 AM
Yeah, with all the qualities, ideally Singapore would be a better Hub compared to El Salvador, but the question is, is Crypto supported by the government? Well, yes (and no), to some extent. But Bitcoin is not the legal tender and treated as goods. They have neutral position regarding to crypto AFAIK.

Anyway, I think Japan is better despite the difference in language (and text), that's why Roger went there.

2125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: July 14, 2021, 09:44:55 AM
Sexy or porn? That's totally different IMO. Live card dealers or game shows sometimes use hot/sexy girls as the host/dealer and I don't mind Grin
But if it's porn, I don't think I'll like it. It's too much and might distract my gameplay. And then you may ask why they offer such service? Is it because their site/games are so bad thus need more salt?
2126  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you miss buying games on Steam by paying with bitcoin? on: July 13, 2021, 04:17:21 PM
I don't mind paying Steam with my debit/credit cards since I don't need strong privacy for buying casual games, and no I haven't used crypto for buying games IIRC, always use VISA. I used BTC/crypto for gambling, web hosting, and stuffs that need stronger privacy. Maybe if there's some good Adult xxx games that I want to buy, I'll use BTC/crypto.
2127  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $100k+/week contest | VIP | on: July 13, 2021, 04:06:13 PM
- Roobet
Roobet has a great rake back system but they also have lower RTPs (~94%) compared to the industry standard of ~96% for several providers.

Is good to maximize referral someone, but some user also has some decision to not put any referral.
You can always use referral link on my profile Tongue

Anyway, I think a feature to change referral will be great if it can be done somehow. Sometimes, we change our mind and instead of burning old account to change referral, we can just cancel and register the new one.
2128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigerian government changing the state of lotteries on: July 13, 2021, 03:58:04 PM
I think lottery isn't a substantial source of income and doesn't have the ripple effect. I think deregulation of offline/tourism based gambling (and promotion) will have more significant impact on the community because of the job creation and stuff. There's no point of sucking money from its own citizens since they will be poorer, so the effort should be to bring rich people to play in luxury casino resorts.
2129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 13, 2021, 03:43:15 PM
0% house edge
The thing is, there are losers even if gamblers play 0% HE games. The 0% HE only moves the gambling nature from negative-sum into zero-sum. Losers will get more pain because they lost the money playing shitty games. They will not come back if the game is really crap.
2130  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Apakah bullish di Bitcoin Sudah berakhir ? on: July 13, 2021, 02:54:10 PM

Ya kalok hanya berdasarkan kepercayaan (faith) saja sih kesannya jadi kurang berbobot.
2131  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [FUD] Binance vs Mamarika, Inggris, Jepang & Korea? on: July 12, 2021, 02:48:46 PM

#FUD Grin
2132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 12, 2021, 02:36:31 PM
I think it was weird for me that he had such a ridiculous injury.
Kick is actually a risky move as you can block it (unprotected) with your stronger body. I remember blocking a kick with my elbow and the dude screaming in pain, but it didn't break his ankle, of course. Considering how powerful Conor's kick was, I'm not really surprised.

Blocking with knee also can do damage to the opponent, but it may hurt you as well (knee injury sucks). It's just a mixture of Conor's stupidity, his bad luck, and Poirier's good luck. He will retire and fight the likes of Logan/Jake Paul.
2133  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 12, 2021, 01:57:48 PM
Cause most of the youtube and streamer money came from sponsor, It's impossible to use that money for completing the challenge or even participated on that challenge cause they have that some contract.
Yep, moreover they are often in the same team with the dev/owner and give the prize, hosting raffle, etc., like heyitsjoe for duelbits.
Also, I think $50k real money is still too much for a streamer, even if it's a famous one.

Anyway, did you guys facing "Infinity Loading" on login page. Just want to try see the leaderboard but I was stuck on loading page, can't even reach login panel.
This leaderboard?

No problem from my side.
2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 12, 2021, 01:47:40 PM
However, for casino games, it would seem that these factors are not really the most important ones. You can see games with very basic graphics and design, simple in the options for the player and not that engaging yet they do "hook" people in them.
Dude.. please...
Game shows and slots offer incredible graphics/animation, sounds, gameplay, etc. especially with game shows, you can also play with a hot chick if you are lucky.
The "not engaging game" would fall into the "high RTP/low HE games" thus people play because of higher winning chance (and they think they can win some money because of it).
2135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: July 12, 2021, 01:28:41 PM
Nothing wrong with gambling mini-games as long as the main/parent game has at least 17+ (Mature) rating just like GTA 5. However, the problem is many teens can buy/install the game even though they are not yet in the eligible age bracket. This is a problem for video games industry in a whole, not just about gambling mini-games.

Actually games with simulated gambling etc. would fall into 18+ (Adults Only) bracket, therefore if the ESRB and the company are honest with the rating, I don't think it's a problem from the provider side. It's like when a casino asks you if you are 18+, but you are only 13. It's not the casino's fault IMO.

2138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn BNB by holding a token. on: July 09, 2021, 03:17:14 PM
I personally do not recommend having tokens/coins on an exchange but since you asked for it I answered it.
But if the token is BNB, I don't think that rule applied. Well, if Binance go awol, then the BNB would crash asap.

I think this is similar to farming, so all the risk applied as well. So better use Binance or trust wallet as mentioned above.
2139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 09, 2021, 01:45:21 PM
Sometimes stealing money from wife/kids is not a sign of gambling addiction if it happened just once. It could be because he just wanted to chase his loss, to fix his mistake, because he bet more than he can afford. Problem gambler = yes, but addict = not necessarily true. It becomes a sign when it happened more than once and then becomes more frequent as the addiction progresses.
2140  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Apakah bullish di Bitcoin Sudah berakhir ? on: July 09, 2021, 11:39:19 AM
#DisclaimerON
