Why do you think people of this forum will not follow rules & regulations? If we get an exact guideline from of theymos than we may deserve much rules followers here. I think theymos should discuss about this too urgently.

If anyone just investigate the Meta section only he/she will find multiple thread which are nothing but tag related argumental gossip. If this situation continue, i wish in future it will be difficult to find productive posts. Just look at those threads conversations.

I wish very soon our DTs have to take sleep killer medicine to make tons of reply to those taging related threads whole night. There can be the chances of Insomnia too

I think you haven't got my point. Respecting one DT member means respecting every single person who are in the DT list.

When your teacher teach you to show respect to your elder person is that  mean to just show respects to your elder brother only lol. I think in this forum i got no relatives who can have my personal special respect.I respect them
who got the ability to have it. Maybe you can be on my respect list too.

Yeah got the point.I already mentioned here on the thread that theymos can discuss with our respectful DT members what can be included or not. I think thats the way how we can pick the best solution. Its really a matter of shame when a newbie user see some post including bad languages which is nothing but to blame on DTs.

As a newbie i also faced same and feel so bad when i respect someone  for his work of excellency. It doesn't matter he is on the DT list or not but it matters when someone use ugly words and blame on someone who achieved a lot of merits and fame not just in one night. Anyone can trace how much time we wasted just for those Tagged argumental issues. Tons of comments to handle those guys thread where most of the thread got nothing but personal emotions.  I think its meaningless.

On the other hand if any DT tag some one without any valid reason that is nothing but a disaster for that convicted person. Every single member of the forum bear same weight and respects.

Just a guideline from theymos can solve it nicely. 

Honestly i am not suggesting to make the system centralize again. I have already mention that there could be a possible way to discuss about this with all our DT members and taking suggestion from them. There could be the system where guidelines can be updated in every month if most of the DT hold their opinion.

Its a matter of concern that recently in bitcointalk we are experiencing a common arguments about Tagging.Its already been a common matter that when someone get tagged by one of our DT members most of the time convicted members are making arguments continuously.

There's been a reason behind those arguments about tagging. I think it will be hard to find anyone who will say that DT tagged me for valid reason. Everytime tagged person put all the blame on our DT members.These guys always want to prove that DT tagged him/her wrongly. I think its not fair to put all blame on DT or tagging a member without valid reason.

In bitcointalk there's been a lot of DT members who got enough experience to handle any kind of situation and take immidiate actions.But its a matter of sorrow that there is no guideline here for DT by forum authority. I think theymos should publish a guideline for DT members.

In recent times many of our experienced members post several thread including advices and guidelines of a DT. Such as when a DT need to Tag someone, where to give someone warning, where its not fair to Tag someone. I think theymos can choose some guidelines from those thread which are really helpful. Maybe Theymos can discuss with our experienced DT members and take their thoughts and advices to develop a complete guideline.

After recent DT selection voting system we are glad to see many new Faces on our DT1 & DT2 list. Its true that new active DT member will put all their effort to keep the forum safe for the whole community but on the other side they are completely new on this service. For the lack of experience they can make mistakes on tagging. On this situation if they get a complete guideline from theymos it will be much easier for them to work fluently.

A complete guideline for DT members will not only solving the issue of rising arguments in tagging but also our newbies can be benifited. From the guidelines they will be able to learn which thing are legal to do and which are not.

I beleive a complete guidelne for DT members will drastically decrease prohibited activities in bitcointalk. We will be able to get salvation from those tagging related arguments.Thanks everyone.

These 23 votes are only from DT1. There's more DT2 and other members who voted for suchmoon during selection of default trust.

Without proper evidence OP you can't blame on a DT like suchmoon. This forum isn't a place to show your emotions. As a active DT member suchmoon is one who works every single hour to make bitcointalk safer for newbies.

Nowdays a common things happening too much that when a DT taging someone with valid reason from that moment number of combined gang members starts to blame on DT. I think its not fair. Its making the situation much complicated.These guys are opening spam thread for every single taging. If this happens continiously on forum i think newbies of bitcointalk will be hesitated to works here.

In my opinion we should stop replying on this kind of meaningless thread. Basically its kinda tough not to give reply because instantly i am replying here on this thread to let everyone know about this. Ignore is best button for us

Yeah in the new DT selection system theymos already given the responsibility to forum members to select their favourite one. Its a great step to make forum control related works much inclusive.

Its already been  proven that if anyone wants to make a place on the DT list it doesn't matters how much older or experienced you are, but it matters how many forum members know your activities & put their trust on you.

I think by this new default trust selection process theymos opened a competition among forum members to be much active and serve the forum.

Its really an issue of concern that on other language section of bitcointalk some guys are abusing massively. Basically its not so easy to detect so fast but need instant solution too.

Maybe many of us have got the knowledge of understanding multiple languages but its not an easy task to learn most of the languages. Some guys are taking this gap as a opportunity to spread their illegal activities. Basically when we want to investigate one topic from italian section at that we need to translate it to our native language first.  After then we are capable of understanding whats going on there.

we have to keep in mind that everyday the community of bitcointalk increasing rapidly. Its going much difficult for our DT members to controling the forum day by day. I think we need to find a productive way to stop this kind of massive abuses on other language section.  

Yeah always i got the similar thinking for newbies where they joined the forum to have some benefits but in vain these scamers rob their fund. Without having DT members activity it was quite difficult to chase those fraud and scamers. Bitcointalk forum has a large value in the whole crypto world. We can't let those scamers to destroy the fame of this forum. Thats the reason from the beginning i tried my best to catch those heartless scamers. I hope if we can work together its definitely   possible to make a scam free atmosphere in bitcointalk.But we can see where a DT member tag someone for fraudulent or abusive activities there these guys start to blame on DT by rising many false issues. Its really been a concern for them who works to present a inclusive forum. 

Obviously this new DT selection system will bring complete freedom to bitcointalk community. Coz its the way how we can share our own opinion easily. Where in the previous policy it was totally handled by Theymos.   

I think OP you are doing nothing but a waste of time. You should learn the lesson earlier from the voting result. Lol still no vote submitted on your vote machine Everyime people don't use words to support anything,sometime we should learn from the activities. Your only  intention is to exclude TMAN from the DT list but already you understand that how much popularity TMAN got as a DT.

I think these guys forgot this idea to open dead coin exchange. We can't say surely, maybe in future we can catch this kinda scam case together.

All these tag related information are so much productive that it will be easier for forum new DT members to tag someone with valid reason Thanks OP for sharing the clear direction of tag someone. Its simple that if any member of this forum make scam or fraudulent activities should be immediately tag by our respectful DT members.But need enough reason to tag someone.Thats why from this topic newbies can learn which things are prohibited in bitcointalk and which are not. Bad guys always should be punished but not a single good guy.

Absolutely these red tag make us look as bad guys. When a newbie member visit our trust area it makes him/her scared. When anyone of us reveal any scam project or fraudlent activities of a member as a result those guys put red tag easily on us where its completely false. In my opinion this option should be used with exact reason.

Bitcointalk default trust (DT) selection system has been updated by Theymos recently. This new DT selection process opens a great chance for bitcointalk community members to choose their trusted person as a DT. I think this selection is unique but Still there is some advantage & disadvantage of this new DT selection process.



Advantage of new DT selection system

1. Previous DT selection system was centralized. It means Theymos was the only one in this forum who got the power of selecting DT members.After than who were added on DT1 custom trusted list got the DT2 position.  But now this system has been decentralized by hand over the DT selection power to bitcointalk community members. This new voting process giving us complete freedom to share our own thoughts and ideas.

2. Theymos new algorithm is completely unique. Which will show us instant update of Default trust selection policy.

3. If somehow by manipulating this system anyone being DT member still then others DT can exclusion him/her and its instantly possible in new DT policy.

Disadvantage of new DT selection system

1. In the new DT selection system you need 10 vote  from (10 earn merit holder) and 2 vote from ( 250 earn merit holder) to be elgible as a DT. I think its possible to manipulate this in many ways by using social media and direcetly asking vote by sending texts to other forum members.

Although I beleive bitcointalk new DT selection system advantage is much stronger than disadvantages.

Why you need to ignore. I beleive if all the people of the world stand on your opposite site and claiming for something which you haven't done, It has no value. Because you know that you are strong enough to do your duty.

Basically these guidelines will help new DT members to take proper decisions. Just giving Tag to someone is not the only responsibility of a DT. Strong activity of our forum DT members is the key to prevent forum scam and fraudulent activities. I wish our new DT members will perfectly do their job to keep our forum clean.
