You should consider creating a system that would allow Sterling users to buy with SLG at any store accepting Bitcoin. I may be wrong, but this may help with adoption. Just throwing this out there. Should probably have to do something like automatic exchange for BTC behind the scenes on some exchange.
Duly noted and the team will discuss this. Vericoin has something like that, it's called Veribit... Used it one time to buy cloud Khash directly for VRC... If the Dev can pull that off, then I sense good times ahead.

Hi all, Great project you guys have going here. The UK and digital currency are a natural fit. The UK being a banking capital and given the recent crisis people will really get it. I'm dropping by to inform that I am representing the owner of BritcoinBank.com which is now for sale. I think it's a perfect domain for Britcoin for these reasons. 1) Is not a 'Wallet' but a 'Bank'. People instantly get that it's an alternative to banks. Though many people distrust banks, the majority don't distrust them enough to get involved with bitcoin and wallets and such as they sound nefarious and the press has been bad. This offers a great chance to re-brand digital currency. 2) .com top tier domains historically have the most weight and trust amongst the average Joe and Susan. You just can't get more official which is completely paramount when money is concerned. (HSBC.IO just wouldn't cut it...) 3) Catchy! Two B's are better than one. Alliteration has a long proven history in marketing. http://robdkelly.com/blog/marketing/alliteration-examples/4) Britcoin is already killer brand in the making, BritcoinBank is the natural partner. Bitcoin is still in early days but the domains have already become hugely valuable, proving in many cases to be better investments than the currency itself. BitcoinWallet.com fetched $250,000BTC.com sold for $1.1 MillionIn 3 years time BritcoinBank.com...?? This is a seriously rare opportunity to get in early before this thing takes off. That's the pitch folks! All serious offers considered. PM me or email NicholasJDHolmes@gmail.comThanks and best of luck with the project, Nick. What's the point of this He wants to make money at Britcoin's expense... I don't own the domain, I'm acting on behalf of the owner because I know a thing or two about digital currency. The owner has many domains and I believe they would part with it for very cheap. (BTC accepted) If the domain 'BritcoinBank.com' is of interest to anyone I would think it would be the Britcoin community. If this is not the best way to reach the Britcoin community then please kindly direct me to a more suitable place. Thanks, Nick Come back in one year, you might have something Right now your too early.

Its OK we have reported darkslash to the moderators as a trouble maker.
We think he may be annoyed that we posted his private message to us asking us to build "hype" otherwise he would start to.
No hype here. Just real merchants and a real developer team.
Sorry darkslash, better luck next time.
bad move guys bad move hahahahhaha I'm very impressed with the honesty here from the devs, it's critical to success, and I support the posting of the private message as it deals clearly and swiftly with any mischievous or innocent attempts at pulling strings behind closed doors. It lets everyone know where the devs stand and they stand in the right place. Having said that I can understand DarkSlash being a little annoyed but I hope he/she will realise it was for the greater good and no harm was done to DarkSlash. I'm going to take DarkSlash's request with a pinch of salt. We don't need to make enemies (powerful or not and I have no idea who DarkSlash is). If people start attacking DarkSlash then we are just as bad as "some" are suggesting DarkSlash is?! I propose a truce? Welcome everyone, DarkSlash included. You can measure the success of a coin by the amount of trolling that takes place, so i'd say we're off to a good start

Ouch that sounds painful..yes this is looking more iffy by the minute. The Dev should be more active about his plans and the new coin. Anyone can say their coin will be asset backed and then take years to pay anything out. It's not a joke. We are a team of 7-10 peeps working round the clock to make sure our coin stays up to the mark and still there is not enough time in the day. It's easy just to post something on a forum, very hard to execute, believe me. But we need to give the Dev the benefit of the doubt first before anyone shouts scam..We need to give it a chance see if the plan becomes reality. I think the DEV had no intention of relaunching this coin, he just lied so the millions of coins he has would be worth something, pretty scummy really.

Was wondering when the britcoin FUD would arrive
No one mentioned Britcoin fella. I'm trying to figure out what price this coins should be? With a big hash rate, a long PoW with a large amount of coins that will be in circulation, it's hard to work out.
Anyone else care to speculate?
I will wait until spacedrop is finished. Price could go lower. The problem here is the coin is x13, if they went scrypt they would at least have a community of miners that can afford ASICs, now it's really just a bunch of poor miners supporting the coin and we all hoping to be millionaires tomorrow. see the name "britcoinFTW" He had that name before the launch of Sterling. The way I see it, there's plenty of room for several cryptos in the UK

Anyone else finding pool ster.suprnova.cc keeps crapping out with waiting on work from pool 0 and miner needs to be reset ?
Just checked my miners - no prob. Since when do you have that issue ? Maybe a connectivity issue OC, is that Danny Dyer in the picture under your name, because it kind of looks like him.

Hi guys,
I'm a long time Britcoin holder and supporter. I would like to get in touch with the technical/programmer who does the coding for the coin features as part of a collaboration on a (non competing) project with a difference. Please DM me.
Thanks,
Arif.
Dennemann does the C++ side of things.

Is it game over? Someone DUMPED 1,300,000 COINS.
Perhaps it was the Dev, maybe the revival was just an excuse to try and bring the price up but no one fell for it, so he had to dump it down? Maybe i've been scammed too many times and I'm getting paranoid?

Is it possible to change my name to SterlingcoinFTW?
