Soo There´s a new wallet update again? I just resynced my wallet with the last new info from like a day ago? and since that took to like late today! now its a new version new nodes (hence new .conf) and have to resync it again??  Naaa...antebellum...please read exactly...USE this rewindfeature: 4) if not you go in debug window and type: rewindchain 5000
5) if its done, restart your wallet twice, thats it!

1) delete just the peers.dat and the europecoin.conf
2) create the new europecoin.conf with

addnode=194.135.92.209
addnode=104.255.33.55
addnode=194.135.93.49
addnode=23.227.190.77
2) you can open this wallet with the OLD blockchain data
3) you wait to sync and look if its on the same Block as
https://bitnodes.net/node/104-255-33-55/
dont unlock your wallet wile syncing, never do it!!
4) if not you go in debug window and type: rewindchain 5000
5) if its done, restart your wallet twice, thats it!
All those who deleted: i think you made a backup before taking actions right?
If not, go fishing or do whatever you want.

Ah! And as a cool side effect, its a perfect tool to repair
corrupted chains instead of resyncing too.well, there is only one thing left to say: Dear Hacker, ExDev, who ever: ...and: IMPORTANT:

some fun to bridge the time? Here is some, i got a reply today, to one of my release notification mails with following text inside saying:  i love it Matthias . Sounds to me like this community just got a little more friendly. Forks have a way of weeding out the knuckleheads. yeah somehow, i always say dumps are a selfsolving "problem" anyway, in fact its always a trasfer between somebody who lets say desires a different currency to somebody who desires our coin and at least values it enough, to pay given price for it. In the long run the only factor, witch decides the outcome is, if your coin attracts just slightly more people than it looses. If you manage that, any trade regardless what it does to the short term price, adds value in some sense to the network. Matthias EDIT: But given, that i know my network and those who are holding bigger amounts of ERC very very well. i am pretty sure, he is not one of them, just a dust collector. (though i value those people, who are just at the beginning to collect their first cryptos, very high, as long as they are friendly) . |

I have purchased a Block Explorer service for EuropeCoin from the STEPS marketplace ( https://altcoinsteps.com/marketplace/services). I will post a link once it is available. Hopefully this will help us out when one Block Explorer is out of sync. Great contribution thank you, users will enjoy having the possibility to compare and to still have one if one of both may fail also it addes to our network. We are now having 9 known managed full nodes ... and counting. some fun to bridge the time? i did everything, that you adviced and downloaded the new wallet.
But everytime i start the wallet it says "Fehler beim Laden von blkindex.dat".
I'm running a Win7 OS.

u need no service to create a bootstrap.dat
its just a renamed nomal blockchain file
the only difference is if u place a presynced blochain file
ur wallet just use it and trust it
if u use a bootstrap.dat ur wallet
still recreate its own blockchain file
by sync and check each block BUT
it sync from bootstrap.dat as a source of blocks first
u can expect to sync from a bootstrap like 5 - 10 times faster than from network
Of course, i know that, but i am resyncing myself and because our partner services have been more important,
for the network. And my users will feel a bit more powerless in terms of our roadmaps and timeframes.
i supported them first and began upgrading my own wallet yesterday late evening.
This is the only reason i am asking the service: My wallet is probably the most behind one of all.
While in contrast, trusted partner services, especially those infrastructure providing ones,
where we are paying customers AND friendly fellow crypto business colleges,
are not only allready done resyncing (mostly), but are also the best choice in terms of trust
and in terms of having the right reference chain.
I wouldn't be in the right business if i would not know, how i could provide a bootrap,

there seems the be a few times u need to restart wallet so it continue syncing
thats nothing new lot old coins with history have in their dark early days such situations a wallet restart needed to sync over it
as long as it able continue sync after restart everything is fine
This is a painful resynch. Agreed. Any chance of getting a bootstrap file? I'm still syncing at Sept 2014.

We should never forget the fact, that compared to bitcoin even the strongest of our generation of altcoins is
just vulnerable and is, lets face it, alive, because no powerful person decided to kill it.
not always needed to agree on everything this time i disaggree there is paths beside pure POW and pure POS that can create a quality of network security that can compete with the endless wasted power of bitcoin network pure POW as bitcoin have it is a dinosaur with only one reason to be still in this primitive form and the reason is money the business around sell hardware to mine is bigger than bitcoin itself..... the mining industry rule bitcoin as we all know even thze big mining pools choose what changes go active in network by flag block they create with their vote decentralized bitcoin is a illusion in fact its in the hand of this guys:  u would trust them blind to be the most important persons decide about the future of ur BTC wouldnt you? hmmm realize this is when altcoins become a total new way of looking sexy mostly convincing, i agree that this will be the outcme very soon, but not yet ... at least for ERCs generation, witch is not the same as Diamond that is if i am not wrong more that twice that old and in network terms doubtless stronger. Also the selection process is more advanced in your generation. You are competing against a few that survived and we have just survived the first selection of the race-candidates (but we are in yeah) All in all correct! I also see altcoins in the not that long term as more powerful. Not only because of innovation, but more even because every coin emerges out of the hardest competition i ever experienced anywhere. NO COIN in this environment has his position without reason, without achieving at least something. That is the school where predators are born, to take over markets and to challenge Central Bank and achieve real change. Thanks for Bitcoin, but that job will be ours, i am sure. Yes i am sure most coins have once experienced this, i would expect even bitcoin having done that in early days yes.
I am so happy that we are having a service like staisybit in our infrastructure.
Services like this are nonstop monitoring the landscape of their blockchains in realtime.
That leaves us in a position, to be able, to detect and fix problems right in the very moment they are occuring.
That is an advantage, that many so called premium coins, can only dream of.
We should never forget the fact, that compared to bitcoin even the strongest of our generation of altcoins is

Being aware of that fact, gives us a glimpse of, how long the road to eternity actually is, and makes us aware:
