2121  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | Most Popular & Trusted | 109 BTC Jackpot! on: October 02, 2017, 12:18:15 PM
Why it is so hard to hit the jackpot? Simply because it's all worth it. C'mon it's over a hundred BTC so expect that the chance is so small to hit it. Let's say you're the owner, wouldn't you do the same condition as what pd does with their jackpot. Who's owner will offer a jackpot with such amount without a very small chance? I bet no one. It's like the main event in sports, the main attraction. So it's way harder to hit than hitting 9900x.

I dont mind about the so small chance to hit the jackpot, but it is more about the jackpot system which is manual. I think many people will try to hit it with the lowest eligible bet amount (0.0001 for 1%) if the system is automatic. It is not fun to watch all the bets we made if we are only hunt for the jackpot. I hope they can make it into automatic system soon.

They will not make it automatic if you asked me, if they want it to be automated they will do it before releasing or atleast few days after release but why until now it is manual? I believe the jackpot is there just because they want to attract more players to play and hunt. Who in the right might would hunt that jackpot manually while the chance is very very very low? That jackpot only gives me the feeling not to play in Primedice anymore

What you said doesn't make much sense.

I am pretty sure if you hit the jackpot you automatically get the jackpot creddited into your account, as long as you made the min bet.

Also the jackpot is a bonus, so by not wanting to play here because the jackpot is not fair doesn't make much sense. Most sites don't have jackpots like this actually.

No, you don't.
Click the questionmark beside the jackpot amount and you'll see this

You have to report it on your own.

But I guess it's okay since we all now realize the jackpot is there just to be there basically Cheesy

How can we trust you the payment will be sent out?

Great point, I think I need to complete one round. As the winner will receive the prize from the deposit address, any user will be able to lookup past rounds by referencing the blockchain. This will clearly show every user that deposited, and show the 1BTC prize being payed out. I plan to provide links to all previous games.

Thanks for your feedback!

That doesn't stop you from running away with that 1BTC.
You need an escrow, I'll volunteer if you want to Tongue

Gotta say I've placed a wrong bet, one on the reserve league and one on the premier league withuot noticing it, since they were the same clubs
CryptoBettingSignals asked me to to send him the matches I played to verify everything is okay, and noticed the games were not in same league
Although it was my error, we placed counter bets in order to prevent large losses and he promised to cover the BTC loss that will result in the odd differences
Will update later Smiley
How much you will be making with that arbitrage opportunity? Is it like more than 5% like OP have claimed above?

If we can make more than 5% than I am also interested to try your service.

iluvbitcoins, please also share your betslip or screenshot here when you will make some profit.

I'm not xD
Already told you, I've placed the wrong leagues
Same clubs, same date, different league
Didn't notice it

I placed a bet on the Rssian Premier League and countered it on the Russian Reserve League without noticing it
It was the same names, the same date, the same date, everything xD

Gotta confirm there are matches that yield over 5% arbitrage.

Ughh, fuck, I was wrong
9999 combinations x 9999
You're right
Sorry

Wow, that is hard to hit!
Even if it was 1 : million it would need to be over 160BTC to be profitable
So this way it would need to be 16 000BTC  Shocked

Hmm, that doesn't sound right.

My back of the envelope calculations is anything >1000BTC.  Each bet you have 1 in 10 million chance of winning the jackpot. To qualify for the jackpot you have to "spend" 0.0001 BTC in EV. So I think you can model it as approximately: (1 / 1e7) * jackpot - 0.0001 = 0 which gives you jackpot = 1000 to be 0EV, and thus everything above that "profitable"

If you make a 100 million bets, you only have a 64% chance of winning the jackpot
With a 1% loss on each rollover
1000BTC = 10 million 0.0001 bets
You need to make 10 rollovers in order to hit 100 million bets
Which should be a 10% loss according to the house edge, a loss of a 100BTC

0.0001BTC bets yield 1% of the jackpot
Which would be 10BTC
So a 1000BTC jackpot would yield 10BTC

So, basically with a 1000BTC jackpot, you'd lose 100BTC for a 64% chance to win 10BTC
Doesn't seem very positive EV to me

If chances of you losing the bet are 9999:1 (99.9%), then losing it twice in a row would be 0.999x0.999= 99.8%, losing it three times in a row 0.998x0.999= 99.7% etc. up until you get to a hundred million bets and a 36% chance of losing that bet

Therefore, a 1000BTC jackpot gives you a chance to win 10BTC while losing 100BTC to the edge at a 64% chance
Right?

Ughhh, how?

Rolling 77.77 has a 1:1000 chance
Rolling it again has a 1:1000 chance
1000*1000= 1 million

So odds of rolling the jackpot are 1 in a million, not 1 in a hundred million

You are wrong, mate. Smiley

Rolling 77.77 has a 1:10,000 chance
Rolling it again has a 1:10,000 chance
10,000 x 10,000 = 100 million

But what I was saying is that even if you make 100 million rolls it's not guaranteed that you hit the jackpot.

The witnesses say Jesus was dead. Hop on your time machine, and go back there and prove them wrong.

The miracles that Jesus did show He was the Son of God. The witnesses say He did the miracles. Hop on your time machine, and go back there and prove them wrong.

The witnesses say that Jesus came back to life. Hop on your time machine, and go back there and prove them wrong.

All of mankind that ever lived, when combined, is nothing in strength when compared with the Son of God, even in man form. So, the Son of God could take on the punishment for all the imperfections of mankind, because He is also God.

Since the Son was perfect - and willingly took the punishment and death because He loved people - the Father had to raise Him from the dead, simply to be just, because of His perfection.

Why do people have to die because of their imperfection? Because they are attached to the universe in such a deep, spiritual (and physical) way, that entropy is destroying them by breaking down their complexity. The more complex, the easier to break down. The complexity in a human being is so great, that marvelous as a human is, the complexity of each human breaks down to death in a mere 100 years or less (usually).

How foolish you are that you won't even accept the things of God, even when they are clearly explained to you. You don't really want to be rejected by the living Son of God, the only salvation for people, forever and ever do you? 'Cause that's where you are headed. And once you die, you won't be able to change your mind any longer.

Cool

The witnesses say that Zeus resides in Olympus.
Are they wrong?

You have killed millions of lives during your lifetime and every other life form that exists has done so too.
We kill to eat, that is in our nature and in the nature of every being on this planet.
We have formed a set of morals in our heads because it is more productive for us to avoid fights and murder, we advance more without fighting among ourselves.
I would like to believe there is a God, I can't deny I pray when I'm in need, and I know I'm a hypocrite for it, but my brain tell me there is no God, it's only my emotions that would like that there is one, but my emotions would also like it for there to be one lambo in my driveway too..
What is the difference between us and other life forms? What makes our lives a sin to stop but not those of animals? We have decided who is an animal who is not.

2132  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women empowerment? on: September 28, 2017, 11:08:10 PM
Women Empowerment refers to increasing and improving the social, economic, political and legal strength of the women, to ensure equal-right to women, and to make them confident enough to claim their rights.

Such as,
1. Freely live their life with a sense of self-worth, respect and dignity.
2. To make their own choices and decisions.
3. Have equal rights to participate in social, religious and public activities.
4. Have equal social status in the society.
5. Have equal rights for social and economic justice.
6. Get equal opportunity for education.
7. Get equal employment opportunity without any gender bias.
8. Get safe and comfortable working environment.

And which of these do women not have in the western world?
Which ones?

Women empowerment is bullshit
Women and men are equal
Wage gap doesn't exist
Identity politics wants to divide us

The jackpot would of been very easy to hit if you needed to roll 77.77 once OR if there was no min bet requirement. But with the min bet requirement I am pretty sure 99% of the currents bets don't qualify since most people are on primedice betting 1 or 10 Sats or so.

Its a nice requirement but with a win every 100,000,000 rolls and with the min bet amount, I don't see this being a simple jackpot to win. There are others out there which are more fair.

Well yeah, I totally agree with you that this jackpot is not meant for hitting and I think the owner (s) made this jackpot under marketing pressure when most of the websites stated they have a jackpot.
On the other hand, I would love to hunt the jackpot of luckygames which is easy to hit compared to this one ^^

Why is it not meant for hitting?
It's a bigass jackpot
1 in a million isn't that hard to hit
Most of active gamblers have at least half a million bets!
The only thing is that the best must be 0.0001BTC+, which is pretty high

Exactly what I meant it's even harder than chasing 99.99 for real.
0.001 min to get 10% of the jackpot and 0.01+ bet to get 100% also the process is not automated. If you run Autobot and sleep and you hit 77.77 2wice in a row it will keep continue betting which sucks.

You can use DiceBot to stop this, I've already went through this Cheesy
That's the same with every website though

You'd put in say 5-500 and when you click bet it'll automatically bet up to 500 times in a second or so.
