2121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: April 30, 2017, 11:45:11 AM
Do not start betting as newbie.
First look how it works and whats the differences.
After you reach some experience you can start with an amount you can afford.
You have the choice - are you a gambler or a player?
This is probably the best suggestion in here! As a newbie, dabbling into gambling or any business for that matter without first laying a solid foundation in knowledge and experience, would most likely lead to unhappiness sooner than later. You can't say off hand that this or that business is your thing until you have made an inroad into the business, by what time you would have discovered if you were headed in the right direction or start looking for the right track.

Gambling takes heart and it is certainly not suitable for everyone and there are people that cant handle loss - big or small, so they better off not bothering to even start.
2122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost over 12 btcs gambling on dice on: April 29, 2017, 10:29:06 PM
Losing bitcoins is not the house's fault but yours. You know so well that dice games and the likes are "luck-based" games which is a 50/50 coin toss thing. Even if you try to set the percentage of you winning to a higher side, the house can still screw you up. You were better off holding it or try sports betting instead other than blindly playing dice with your lousy methods.
If the game were actually 50/50 chance, then it would have been a level play ground, but the house edge tilts the game in favor of the house, so a player is always having less than 50 chance of winning, whereas the house always have 50% chance plus the extra the house edge brings it. That ultimate turns out in the favor of the house and much more so given they most often have huge balances that enables them able to hold out most strategies until a player eventually run out of fund or reach limit for maximum bet.
2123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of the money on: April 29, 2017, 09:55:14 PM
I rarely gamble, but sometimes play dice. I took free 0,00000500 btc and win 0,01 btc. So far this is my record.
Honestly only those occasional gamblers are successful as far as I have observed. Still making 10 mBTC from 500 satoshi in dicing gambling must be a very big achievement, no regular gambler could imagine for this. Occasional gamblers are usually making their most of the win or loss in one or two attempts itself.

I just find myself jealous on seeing your stats, being a regular gambler is only good for finding entertainment and definitely not for thinking about making profits from gambling.
The reason for that is the that the longer you play the bigger the chances the results align with the expected results on the games and since in the long run the house is expected to win that is the reason you most of the time are not going to win if you gamble regularly.
That is especially so when you maintain just one strategy on a game, overtime the system is sure to catch up with your moves. I play dice and roulette only but I have had some cute winnings with dice. One thing I have learnt about casino games is that it is actually a duet between you and the house, which already has some edge. A player has to be one step ahead of the game, to be able to leave with a profit and the longer he plays, the tougher it gets.
2124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: April 29, 2017, 07:12:04 AM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
Bitcoin is great but it is completely crazy to depend completely on bitcoin for your economic well being it is better to maintain several investments in several financial instruments instead of putting all your eggs on the same basket.
I think it's the right decision to invest all the bitcoin you have in the form of bitcoin. If you're really looking for profit from bitcoin, you should do that, and wait a while until bitcoin prices go up, maybe you can wait for the price to go up next year, because that would be very profitable.
Investing all money into one opportunity now a days become a right decision due to the promises we are getting from bitcoin's future value. Before bitcoin, I guess no one would have opted for only one opportunity to go with their all investments. I guess we can continue this trend for next 5 to 10 years also as bitcoin value will find rapid surge in coming years.
it is always heart warming to hear people upbeat and quite enthusiastic about the prospects of Bitcoin, nevertheless caution ought not be thrown into the air whatever investment portfolio one is saddled with, because the risk factor is ever present. Worthy of note is the fact that Bitcoib is still evolving and I think it would be a wiser move to not get ahead of it.
2125  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Earn $xx-$xxx/Day on: April 28, 2017, 05:45:30 PM
Has anyone got pm with details from op? I think he was either trolling or just looking to spam here referral link.
Seriously guys do you think it is possible to earn 3 figures a day with watching ads and videos? .
I do not think it is possible
Many gullible people around is the reason scam programs are rather on the increase across the net and especially in the cryptoworld. Like what OP is putting forward here, so much secrecy is involved. The question everyone should be asking, if a program is legit, would you rather hide it or use every means available to publicize it?  He was unable to even provide an insight into how much a member could be earning - pointing to little or no homework. Well good luck to all those who think they got something here, but I must say, a red flag isn't really hard to spot.
2126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: April 28, 2017, 04:17:09 PM
Don't double-down if you lose. Many traders make that mistake and dig themselves deeper into a hole.  Keep following your trading strategy and if it's a good one you will come out ahead even with losses.

successful traders are risk takers. before we engage our selves in trading or investing we should always remember that losing is part of the game. you win or you loss. be ready and strong enough to face the circumstances, if there's any.
A trader's main problem is not really the loses that can never  be completely checked as far as the market is consign. What a trader does or failed to do about a lose  is all the reason another devastating lose would occur sooner or its venom effectively removed to create room for profit making.
2127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: anyone interested in arbitrage between korea and china market on: April 28, 2017, 02:22:09 PM
You can not transfer dollars to most Chinese exchanges at the moment.
Dollar and Yuan have never been allies, so this dreadlocks need be factored in by anyone looking to exploit this. When a direct path becomes inaccessible, it does not really mean getting to a destination is impossible, because other routes can always be taken or even created.

Arbitrage between exchanges happen because demand and supply differs from one exchange to the other, so an arb opportunity may disappear but more will continue to show up, so any interested trader can find some for as long as the market goes on althouh use of bots often becomes necessary, so that the market can be monitored all the time.
2128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading? on: April 28, 2017, 12:29:16 PM
Cryptocurrency trading is definitely better than Forex. I do not like Forex because there are too many people use it to scam, trick, fraud other people into a trap and lose a lot of money.

I also think that it is more interesting to trade in crypto currency. I only trade cryptocurrency now. This is not only profitable. But also interesting. Simply excitement. Sometimes you go out for 3 minutes, and the market has already changed significantly
Not profitable, but interesting ? What you mean ? Please do not approach any kind of trading in this way because I am just smelling you are treating your trading how people are doing with their gambling. It is very dangerous. You can find your excitement for free of cost in many other ways and do not waste your money in trading for your excitement.

Cryptocurrency trading will be profitable if you are ready to dedicate some time for it. Better learn how to do cryptocurrency trading profitably otherwise simply quit it.
Because crypro trading offers a simpler approach, it is common sight to hear a good number of supposed traders arguing that knowledge and skills are irrelevant to profitable trading and so we are having the number of gambling traders on the increase instead of reducing, because of been fed by ignorance and laziness. These type of traders are actually making the exchanges happy and the reason we are seeing exchanges springing up like mushrooms!
2129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is not Ideal, it represents possibilities. on: April 28, 2017, 10:35:01 AM
Three years ago or two years ago, if you asked me what Bitcoin is, I’d tell you it is the future of money. It is managed by the network, not by the government. Plus, it is private, anonymous and fast. It’s just perfect!
And Bitcoin is proved very successful. But it has inherent risks like anonymity, hacking,51%attack, double spending. Stop imagining bitcoin is perfect. No coins are perfect. I’d say bitcoin means more about possibilities, possibilities of expression of value. Before, I’ve been taken it for granted that the government should control currencies. But now I’d like to take a moment to think of the question:
“What is the nature and origin of money?”
You're right! i embraced bitcoin for the first time in the beginning of 2013 i thought that it was the "future" "private" "simplest" and "faster'' payment method well all three are doing well but the last i mean the "faster"  idk if it's just me or..? that bitcoin transaction is very slow for normal transaction you must wait 10-30 minutes to get confirmed, i know that if you want to decrease the time you must increase the fee but it's not simple anymore if we must check and estimate which fee should we use to get fast transaction. Maybe this is the only reason why i don't like bitcoin, while others I'm very satisfied.

There is still a problem with bitcoin where blocksize can't be upgraded and still using the size of 1 mb for each transaction, this becomes a complicated problem if the transaction ballooned in one time and will result in pending in long term. I am not so sure that people always boast of anonymity because the world government puts more emphasis on financial transparency and self data, this is a reverse current for bitcoin so until now the American government doesn't regard it as legal tender.

Bitcoin blocksize can be upgraded but developer wants a consensus about the update.  They will not barge in and say to the community "hey we upgraded the blocksize, upgrade of be left behind, we need you to follow and deal with it" instead, they wanted the majority agree with the up coming update so it will be a smooth transition.

With regards to transfer, it is still fast in global transfers, 10 to 30 min. transfer from southern part of the globe to northern part without the third party involvement.
One of the selling points of Bitcoin is that the governments are not the ones to decide, changes are to be backed by consensus of users and we can all appreciate the fact that reaching a consensus in anything is never an easy task. The blocksize issue is actually going through its normal course of getting a consensus decision and it is sure to be long coming.
2130  Economy / Services / Re: LEARN HOW TO EARN $100-$1000 EVERY MONTH IN BITCOIN on: April 28, 2017, 09:44:07 AM
Newbies are these days rushing in here to make claim of this and that holy grail but with not as much as a tangible proof to back their claims up. I think it is best to simply ignore them and channel one's time to something productive. The person behind this thread is actually calculating to make money from the traffic his deceit would eventually drive to his video channel  Roll Eyes
2131  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: April 27, 2017, 05:25:55 PM
Holding bitcoin a long time is a good way to make money, hold it 2 to 3years after that for sure you had already a big saving in your storage wallet. It will surely that bitcoin by that time  would be 3000$ to 5000$. Just be patience while waiting for the right time Wink

Wow, that is a nice prediction, let's see if it will really happen, would be very good! It's impossible to know with 100% sure something about Bitcoin, but if the last 2 years results could be applied for the next 2 years, we could see Bitcoin pricing about $2600-$3000 in 2019. I think $5000 is a bit exaggerated, a bit lower than that is very possible...
There is this popular saying in the financial market that, Past performance may not guarantee future performance and that is absolutely true. A safer approach would be to buy and hold all the Bitcoins one may desire to and take profit every time new highs are made, be they in weeks, months or years. Beating one's chest about the time frame for Bitcoin price to appreciate is like chasing the wind, don't do it!
2132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading? on: April 27, 2017, 04:55:17 PM
Even you are using Demo account on Forex you don't lose anything and it doesn't make you lose compared with using real account.
What I can say is crypto trading is most easier than forex because you have lot of coins to choose.
Yes crypto trading is easier than outright forex trading, but it is certainly not because there are lot of coins to choose from. The simplicity of crypto trading lies on the fact that it is not leveraged and the double edged sword role that leverage plays in forex trade is not applicable here, thus placing a limit to what profit/loss that is possible from any one executed order. A better way to see it, is that crypto trading is a subset of forex trade.
2133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: April 27, 2017, 10:43:00 AM
everyone knows that bitcoins are better for lot reasons
can you please be more specific and explain those reasons? I know lots of good things about bitcoin and I like bitcoin. but other people also should know them. so if you thing bitcoin is better than paypal for lot of reasons than you must explain some of those reasons.
if you're about to using bitcoin then you already know what kind of specific bitcoin had. Im not agree with frompz bitcoin is will be for investments only and any kind of activity that it will involves bitcoin while paypal is far away from bitcoin.

PayPal is nothing more than a payment platform. It doesn't make any sense for people to mention the investment aspect of Bitcoin in a direct comparison. The only possible comparison between the 2 options will have to do with conducting payments in all sorts of forms, and nothing more. If you purely focus on that, it will give PayPal the advantage as it offers a better payment solution than Bitcoin right now.
I agree with your that on a broad perspective, comparison of Bitcoin with Paypal is baseless because they were mot hewed from the sane stone and neither are their outlooks one and same. At best, Paypal is just one aspect of the many things Bitcoin is, so beyond both being payment systems, they are actually two different worlds.

2137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening in Africa? And what can we make happen? on: April 25, 2017, 08:55:54 PM
Personally I don't think that Bitcoin will be able to makeway in these countries when they can't even make way in countries that are fully technologically advanced like the United States, Canada, all of Western Europe and so on.
Bitcoin is making no headway???  Which Bitcoin are you talking about, is it the one whose price increased by over 100% within 365 days, the one that was worth few cents couple of years back, but now worth almost $1300, current market capitalization at $20,639,890,722? Looks to me like you will be needing more help than does many from the so called backward continent!

Quote
I know some people point to the fact that in Africa people would be using Bitcoin as a way to hide money from the corruput government but what's the bitcoin going to do for them if they're unable to cash it out across Africa?
Whereas Bitcoin technology makes it possible for you to send and receive Bitcoins without disclosing your identity, it is however far from giving perfect anonymity. Bitcoin at best is only pseudonymous and those high net worth wallets do ring bells and can be traced. Btw I can furnish you with as many local exchanges and ways to cash your Bitcoin from even a village in Nigeria.

Quote
I guess using Bitcoin is cheaper than using a money transferring/wire service like western union or one of those types of things but I can't see it taking way like one of those huge monopoly like companies.
Those monopolies are one of the problems people are facing and which is precisely one of the issues Bitcoin have risen to resolve. We now have startup remittance companies that are giving those so called huge companies a fight for every client out there and they are doing quite well.

Quote
Plus, I doubt the corrupt governments are going to allow Bitcoin to thrive and we all know that's the deciding factor when it comes to IF bitcoin can take way in a country. Probably going to see tons of regulations by the government.
Once again, you drifted there! Bitcoin is decentralized and borderless, the governments that experimented with banning it, ended up learning some bitter lessons - China, Russia, India in case you need an instance! The conclusion of the matter is, Bitcoin goes on with or without the government!

2138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Noobs thoughts on BTC on: April 25, 2017, 04:44:44 PM
Bitcoin will never have a stable price, because bitcoin is not regulated, and you need regulation to keep a stable price, this is basic to understand

Could you explain how regulation will make Bitcoin more stable?

After all, price is still determined by the balance of supply against demand, and as I suspect, Bitcoin is no exception to this rule. So if you basically claim that Bitcoin regulation will somehow make Bitcoin prices more stable, that necessarily means that regulation should affect supply and demand. To make prices stable both sides of this balance should increase multifold, and how exactly Bitcoin regulation is going to do that?

i think he mean that regulation can increase adoption, we have a case in japan where regulation made adoption in japan far higher, this is also proven by the very high volume they have on exchange, the highest among all

so in theory if all country do the same, we can have a better adoption that will lead to more stability, which make sense
What we know to be responsible for the increase in volume of transaction now in Japan is the diversions coming out of China as a result of their government trying to regulate Bitcoin the way they deem fit. Japanese regulation is rather a soft landing that is encouraging businesses to thrive, whereas China's regulation is more or less a noose.

That beings us to the fact that regulation can mean many things depending on what those behind it are aiming to accomplish. By and large it is against the spirit of Bitcoin.
2139  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 24, 2017, 06:32:04 PM
I was always play in this site but every time I win at the end I also lose together with my capital. Maybe you can win a little bit but you lose more. Can you give me some advice how to win in freebitco.in every hour? If you have idea can you help me.

Actually there is no other thing that you can do except more balance that you need of you do not have that much you should consider lowering your basebet. This is what can be done but it does not guarantee that you will keep always get on profit because this is gambling and you really need to have enough luck to bring you a great profit more over there is huge house edge on them which is you will busted sooner
Dont waste your coins and time thinking you could pull something off from this sites multiplier game because its odd are skewed to make you loss and it doesn't matter ow much balance you got, it is only a matter of time and they will catch up with you. Actually this was able to attract large membership, because back then there were very few dice sites accepting cryptocurrencies and the faucet made people to put down their guards.
2140  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buy a wife with bitcoins on: April 24, 2017, 12:12:13 PM
It is funny the world start bcome wacky, I heard the rumor that somewhere in china you can buy a wife, but we are talking about humans, it is not right to buy a human and for sure the woman will not love you at all, I think this is a misuse of money and hopefully people will never buy with bitcoin or other money
And the next day, a suit for divorce would be filled and that is if the marriage was legit!  Anyone ever wondered why divorce rate is rather on the increase? Marriage is meant for a man and woman that truly love each other, so they be able to fight the inevitable challenges of life together. When the love is not there to cement the two together, the never holds.

People please look for a woman of your taste, woo her and marry her you don't buy her, she is not some commodity!
