With so many russians fleeing the country for western europe , I doubt that's what they wish.
Out of the 143 million Russians, how many "fled" to Western Europe during the last 10 years? May be a few hundred thousand at the most. That is still less than 1%. Eastern Ukrainians want the recognition of their mother tongue (Russian language), which is currently under a near complete ban. Unless the Western Ukrainians respect the language and culture of the Easterners, there will be no united Ukraine. |
