I compared the first few sentences, and it's an exact copy from Google Translate. But as far as I can find, that's allowed, as it's not mentioned in the unofficial forum rules: 27. Using automated translation tools to post translated content in Local boards is not allowed.

At the moment i'm looking for a pattern " @username/alias " or " username/alias " with space in the begin and in the end, i can change it easily to space or ", " (comma + space) in the end. That that mean a username followed by a "dot" or anything else than a comma gets ignored? Like when I ask this question @Piggy?

I didn't expect 2018 to have more registrations than 2017, after the bull run ended. I expect spam/bump bots to be responsible for the largest increase, as spammers create thousands of accounts at a time. I did use that but it's kinda wrecked into spaces... You'll need to use columns with "|" as separators (see example).

How would re-using funds that were supposed to be mixed not decrease privacy? Chipmixer explains fungibility in the FAQ. In short: It's the idea that a one ten dollar note is the same as any other ten dollar note. I can also split my coins that intend to mix "as chips" values and i will be still using the "input dirty" funds. You can make your own chip-sized transactions. And the more people do that, the more difficult it becomes to distinguish between chips.

Thus, BestMixer.IO advertises its project for all active users in the bitcoin blockchain with a balance from $1500. At the moment, more than 75000 addresses are included in the daily sending list. Daily the cost of such advertising is approximately equal to 0.65 BTC or $4500. Is this the result of your advertising/spam/dust campaign? See How to isolate dust transactions? Recent spam/tracking dust transactions.: I have many addresses that have been attacked with this tracking dust. I use Tails OS with electrum. How can I mark or spend just these inputs? Is it possible with electrum? If not, is it possible to do on Tails OS with a different client? I prefer to use only a live OS in a secure environment, I do not take risks with my btc lightly.
I see several severe drawbacks of your method. Although spamming the blockchain can probably get you new users and more revenue, it's quite unethical. Not only are you increasing the blockchain by making 75000 dust transactions, the receiving party will have to add much more bytes to his transaction to get rid of the dust inputs. The only real way to stop this are higher fees, which is undesirable for many users.

I use Tails OS with electrum. How can I mark or spend just these inputs? If you enable the Coins tab, you can select (hold CTRL-key) all inputs you want to use. But: if you select dust transactions received on different addresses, you'll link them together compromising your privacy, which is the opposite of what you want. My personal preference is to always use coin control, and choose my own inputs. Is it possible with electrum? If not, is it possible to do on Tails OS with a different client? Even if you could freeze certain inputs, you'd have to do this again each time you restart your LIVE OS. That's not a permanent solution. Is this what's causing the dust transactions? BestMixer would like to present you a new advertising technology invented by our mixer. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) In short, every day we send to bitcoin wallets of all active users a noticeable amount of 0.00000888 BTC, which is accompanied by a comment about BestMixer service. All details are below. ~snip~ If so, they may send you more dust after you make another (large) transaction, so consolidating the dust onto the real address won't help you. Otherwise you could take all dust and larger inputs that belong to the same address, and send the full amount at once to a new (or even the same) address to consolidate inputs that belong to the same address.

It’s spilled over into Bitcoin Discussion now too which saddens me. Resurrecting Bitcoin Discussion would (in my opinion) be much more important than trying to rescue the altcoin board. But it's not infested by bump bots like the altcoin board, and that's why I made the 1 Merit suggestion there. I think Bitcoin Discussion needs a moderator with iron fist. Politics & Society is in a better state now than Bitcoin Discussion (thanks to Flying Hellfish).

Updated until last Friday's Merit data dump. why not a permanent ban for those users who involved in the trading account or merits. Like trust, merit isn't moderated: While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with. Theymos also said not to worry too much about small merit abuse, in the end it doesn't matter much.

The Altcoin board should be nuked, it’s an about cess pool full of shitty posters & bounty hunters aka shit posters. It literally hurts my eyes just reading the rubbish in there. Drastic measures ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I still have some hope the board can be saved, but that requires maybe 99% or more of the posts to disappear. If 1 Merit isn't enough to accomplish that, I wouldn't mind seeing it raised further. Make people earn the right to post about altcoins on Bitcointalk.

Auctioneer bidding on the auctioned item is perfectly fine around the world in various auctions. It's a form of concealed reserve price.
I have never, never heard about auctions who allow a person auctioning an item to bid on it in order to set a concealed reserve price. Again, do you have examples of auction houses that allow that? I can imagine an auction house allows that if they take 10-15% commission. And if the seller bids 20 million on his own item, I can imagine they don't mind taking 2-3 million of his money as commission so that he can buy back his own item. That high commission makes it very unattractive to the seller to do. You say it's allowed under US law. Personally, I have nothing to do with their law, as I'm not in their country. Whether it's allowed or not, it strikes me as "weird" to bid on your own auction, and it's certainly not something I would expect to happen. And I'm not the only one. In your auction thread, you surprised wheelz1200, Lairew, acharias, Lincoln6Echo and minerjones. On the other hand, thread USER ANDUCK Bidding on own auction.. was opened 1.5 years after the auction, and based on User Vod abusing DT position (petty red-rating with provable lies as a reason) it really looks like a personal conflict between the two of you.

Now that we have a 1 Merit requirement for Jr. Members, I suggest to extend this to anyone who wants to post on the Altcoin board. My original post including Veleor's suggestion to post it here: The main idea isn't to stop real users, and I do realize they'll be "collateral damage", but this may be the only way to stop paid bumping bots. Copper Members shouldn't be restricted either. This will give the spammers something to lose. Currently, a spammer can create 6000 accounts in a day, which is enough to bump many threads for a very long time (and earn a lot of money from it). Just 1 Merit (or 0.00208333 BTC for Copper Membership) per account can still be abused, but not at this magnitude.

I think doge will not increase 8% by 1 day. So sell will be better than taking loan. Note: I am not a good trader. But if s/he thinks it may increase then s/he should take the loan. My assumption was/is that OP can't exchange the Doge because of fees to withdraw from an exchange. If that's the case, I can exchange it to Bitcoin, send OP his Bitcoin and leave my Bitcoin at Bittrex.

I know but it would be nice if everyone agreed on the same stance about alt accounts. They're not always a bad thing. Especially in promoting businesses or splitting some PM load. I think most people more or less agree: -alt of a scammer is bad -alt abuse is bad -alt for another purpose is fine P.S LoyceV : I see you're also the type that edits his messages mid-typing. Gave me a headache trying to quote you ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Lol, it's a challenge ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Real answer: I wanted to add a response to a new message, without creating another post by myself.

Like, who do these people think owns all those "business" alts? It doesn't matter who's behind the account. This forum believes in privacy and freedom. Timelord2067 or other members might give the accounts a neutral trust simply stating the connection between the alts, but that shouldn't affect you adversely. Even better, to avoid any confusion or questions later on, you can tag them by yourself. Don't use positive trust for this, some users even use negative trust for alt-accounts they use on public computers. The main reason for getting red trust on alt accounts is to notify someone either one of them can't be trusted. See alia for example, who got red trust from theymos for being an alt of a known scammer. For example Jet Cash have a few, LoyceV have also few alts Even better: Global Moderator hilariousandco and Administrator theymos have an alt too. I don't have a need for alt but maybe one day I'll register one too. I started LoyceBot because I didn't trust the posting bot I used. This is a pretty good example compilation of what I've casually seen happen from other users too. It seems to me that not everyone is on the same page as you on this matter. That's what happens with a decentralized trust system. The total trust is more or less an average of opinions from many users. Nice, I guess that's one way to do it. Confirm yourself that an account is your alt before other people do it in red for you. When I created LoyceMobile I was afk. By the time I got back to my desk, I had a PM asking to confirm it's me. I asked Jet Cash the same when his alt claimed to be his alt. Leaving neutral trust back and forth solves this.

My guess is that you need a hat! I clearly missed something here ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) No meaning beyond following themes.. of getting pants taken from several members, and then another member asserting that he would eat his hat, which contributed to thereafter hat momentum leading to likely hat bubble, at some point. Roach hasn't requested a hat, YET.
Do you have a link to where this t hat all started? I need one too! I've been looking for a personal avatar for a while now, but I'm not artistic enough to make one.

It was probably last week, some dude showed a screenshot of their reports, the guy had more than 900k ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) . Don't know if it was photoshopped Lol of course it's fake ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Did you not see the 101% accuracy? I'm at this: You have reported 5061 posts with 99% accuracy (4755 good, 71 bad, 235 unhandled). Do not worry about your accuracy too much; one accurate report is worth many inaccurate reports. I need 245 more good reports so that I can bump Seeking reporter badge images and cry for my badge ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

A friend of mine is using it currently. I can show it to a trusted individual in private. How many Merits did he earn per post? That's a reasonable indicator to judge if he's spamming or contributing. For comparison: you've received 0.0722 Merit per new post.
Shouldn't this thread be moved to Reputation by now?
