Cool thanks very much, How long are you after someone to mine for? Only got 856khs but I'll happily point it at IFC for a day
Was that a typo, did you mean Ghs? Or are you mining Sha coins with 856 Khs? If ya post a diem addy you may get a surprise Khs for the IFC port lol, my addy 1Q6nwrKYEqUvPBpKLt1kJWuyiKQeUWTmcg

The multipool is up for testing right now. I would post the link, but it's only testing the backend and you may lose whatever hashes you throw at it right now, while the kinks are worked out. Just updating everyone that there are 3 coins on there right now we are using for testing, but it is coming along nicely If you have extra hash power (Scrypt) that you don't mind using to help, send me a PM and I'll shoot you the link on the website i got from facebook, diem.bluecirlcetech it says SHA 256 next to the port for carpdiem? yet you ask for scrypt? am I missing something here?

Witnessed the whole thing, was rather epic!
iCoin is so undervalued right now!

There still seems to be some confusion over the large miner over at ForkPool. That large miner that people thought was botnet is actually a small miner generating a large number of fake hashes. Misinformation spreads quick in crypto. There is a known flaw in stratum that allows you to submit many more shares than you actually could mine. So you can mine with let's say 100KH but make it appear that you are mining with 10,000KH. They are not actually providing that amount of work and coins are not being mined faster. What happens is that since the pool thinks that they are mining the lion's share that they deserve the majority of the coins that are actually mined. So you fake 95% of the pools hash power and get 95% of the coins mined when they were only putting in a very small share. This is an old issue that has come back to life with pool operators using unpatched pool software. The issue has been raised in on GitHub and a an example of how to recreate the problem using a mining stratum proxy is in the link below. https://github.com/Crypto-Expert/stratum-mining/issues/313is this an issue for the other miners? Or a case that the pool operator needs to pull their thumb out their ass? LP

X11 is most definitely the current best option.
True, but only for mining for minings sake. I joined a few days ago when it was 3000+ satoshi. Profitable, and 50% the power. A miracle. But now its 1500 satoshi and only pays for the power it consumes! So why mine? This is a great coin, but what's the point if there's no profit? Magic internet points? I guess this is the problem across all coins at the moment. People are turning off their rigs. How to put a stop to this?? Until the price of coins goes back up, more and more miners will stop. The miners that do leave their rigs on will benefit though as the diffs will come down. I Don't rally turn my miners off and have been mining this coin for 3 days now, loving it!

I have started mining HIRO for 2 days now. I have to say that it is magical compared to scrypt. Temps have gone down by 15C. Electricity consumption is about half. Hashrate is more than x3. I use an Asus R9 290X 4GD5 and get 2.732 Mh/s with rejects between 0.6% and 0.9%. X11 is most definitely the current best option. Good luck to all.
Hey, what settings are you using? I have an r9 and can only get 2.35 out of it so far
