2141  Economy / Gambling / Re: Concept of Halal Casino on: August 27, 2023, 03:06:20 PM

This concept is for our Muslim brothers but for us Christians, there are some sects that support gambling and some are not, and our Muslims have one law that they follow when it comes to haram and halal, but at the end of the day, everything are all about respect to one's religious belief when it comes to gambling.

Despite the individual decisions towards gambling which may be traced to economic situation for those who believe that they can add gambling as a source of income to meet up to family needs but I don't think the christians has a sect of the religion that also support gambling. At least I have not heard of a pastor preaching and advising their converts at the pupit to gamble. What I have heard is their condemnation of it using the example at the synagogue where Jesus Christ threw the gambling materials away and the gamblers were scolded.
2142  Economy / Gambling / Re: Concept of Halal Casino on: August 27, 2023, 02:22:56 PM
Yes, I watched the whole video and found that the title of this video plus the thumbnail in this video does not match the content presented in the video. This is more like a clickbait title/thumbnail and there is no talk about the legit casino in this video.
Yes, maybe people immediately catch what is seen from the title that contains clickbait and are provoked by it, so they draw conclusions and immediately comment outside the actual context of the video, actually in Islam it teaches good things so always remember worship, even if you are a gambler or criminals, it's good that worship should never be abandoned because that way it will make people lose their way and make themselves worse.

Any worship will prevent us from doing something other evil in the future, maybe that's what is meant and captured from this video, acting as good people will help us become better later, therefore I can't comment much about this video before watching it's finished videos properly.

I think that is pretty much about the video, despite the inclination about gambling for the muslim faith and infact most other religions regarding to gambling but to keep the worship or prayers going on. I believe if you drop the prayer and followship because you are doing a particular sin it will lead you into deeper sins that coming out will be a longer process, that is what I understand in the video but on the other hand I'm thinking that is a subtle way to give approval to gambling by the muslim faith and not to judge or condemn theirselves yet.
2143  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price hits the rock as Space X sells all it's BTC holdings on: August 26, 2023, 10:59:49 PM

The only way new money can find its way into crypto is after every massive dump, How it's going to happen is none of my business but manipulators, whoever they are will make sure it happens, for them to secure a nice entry price.

This is why the opinion of majority of bitcoin retailers is that the market is manipulative. When they want to shake up market and get cheaper coin, they will do a massive dump and create that unnecessary artificial panic and that will get small traders to panic and dump hard until the whales start to buy them back. It is a circle that someone need to be knowledgeable on.
2144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Stay Safe and Avoid Scams When Gambling Online on: August 26, 2023, 07:50:37 PM

This is the reason why it is better to simply stick with the old or trustworthy casino and sportsbook platforms so that you don't have to be worried about getting scammed or your personal details and documents being used for gaining money or maybe even in bad things which might cause you trouble.

This is the solution to avoid being scammed because there are different casinos coming up and to jump into a new casino that has not been tested is not really encouraged. If you are playing on an old casino without no hitches and you withdraw with no complain, it is better to stick it out there rather than chasing bonus and other welcome packages like free spin which attract new players. But some bettors want to have a feel of some new ones, it is better while trying to deposit little money that may not matter to you even if you lose it. So reviewing a casino before signing up is the right part to take first.
2145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take to play casino? on: August 26, 2023, 05:00:34 PM
If there is a strategy it will be gamble as you can run the expenses and not regret your account. That is you need to be wise to know when your luck is favouring you and when it has left you. You always have the leverage to wake away without anybody holding you back and you have to know how to manage your bankroll. Avoid virtual soccer if you can't bear spontaneous losses. Over all, gambling is luck based and no particular strategy is perfect, you win some and you will lose some but the owners win more.
2146  Economy / Economics / Re: Top richest from history, one hyperinflated the economy single handedly! on: August 26, 2023, 01:28:57 PM
One man singlehandedly caused hyperinflation in an entire region, that's wonderful. I stand to be corrected Bitcoin is one of the most reliable shields against inflation. Yes, my stand is arguable because it is highly volatile but its total cap of 21 million is its unique difference. The market can be flooded with gold because many nations of the world still have massive gold reserves. Lands and other resources are limitless which means that their prices can fall if the supply rises but bitcoin has limited supply. A single country with a large gold reserve can make the market crumble but Bitcoin is decentralised. Yes, the market can be manipulated by some unhealthy practices by whales but their influence is limited. If Bitcoin gains a stable price in the future, it will become an undisputed hedge against inflation.

Agreed that inflation may not be what will affect bitcoin but regards to dump in the price of bitcoin, that is very possible and it is happening. Just last week the allege sale of Elon musk SpaceX acquired bitcoin dump caused the price shield of 9% which is about $4k drop in price which is already huge for within 24hours. So just like an individual can use his gold to crash the market and cause inflation, so also that could happen with bitcoin. But like you have the view, bitcoin won't be affected by inflation because gold or fiat dumped which was evident during the COVID-19.

2147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: August 26, 2023, 01:02:52 PM
As an investor, i did a lots of invest in altcoins. Those were suppose to be good that time with having good hype, good team and community. But with having all of thats, most of altcoins scam after a time! I wonder for some altcoins, they were suppose not to be go but they scammed without any reason! And hundreds of altcoins are in my wallet, which are turn into dead shitcoin now.

Most shitcoins have:

Gazillion of token supply.
They tax 5% to 10% of the transaction amount claiming for burning and project funding.
Project developers present themselves in informal ways and overexaggerating their achievements.
Subject to pump and dump
Implement burning because the project owner and developer do not have the ability to create real-life use cases for their token/coins.
Have plagiarized whitepaper
Often hype investors that they will earn big if they invest on the project.

and many more...

Most of the things you mentioned here are what I also noticed in the shit coins that I have also invested on. They have something in common which is their billion number, that is supply and some don't have maximum supply limit. So if you see a coin like that, be sure it will soon dump on your laps if you don't dump first. They also have the promise of burning some quantity as they give time for that, usually a long time of which they would have taken out investors money and exit. They also show you how much you are going to profit in a short time with so much hype on their telegram.
2148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Gold Standard Is Back: BRICS To Intro Gold-Backed Reserve Currency on: August 26, 2023, 11:50:41 AM
BRICS looks like it real agenda is how to destabilize the US economy and they have two big competitors of US which is Russia and china. To achieve such they need to make the dollar less important by introducing some currency that will serve a global purpose yet no one will lay claim to. I thought that was one propaganda that led to the war in Libya and eventual death of Muammar Gaddafi because of same gold baked currency introduction in Africa.
2149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible Sports Betting Shop Operations on: August 26, 2023, 11:24:02 AM
There might be a few bookies who would do that, but it isn't ideal for many. The issue at hand is that bookies or sports betting agents are aiming for higher profitability. This implies that the more bets they attract, the more money they stand to gain. In my opinion, the phrase "gamble responsibly" should be sufficient to caution bettors, and if they choose to disregard it, the consequences are theirs to bear.

Well I have not seen such myself where a casino operator will advise or stop a gambler from betting because of addiction. Anyway, such sympathy display can maybe happen in an offline gambling house like op shared if at all it will happen because the owner of the gambling house shares a family relationship with the gambler. And online casino can only warn gamblers on the risk in there terms and conditions but will not be able to stop them from placing another bet because there is no limit to the times you will bet.. It is commendable and rare to see this kind of reasonable display of understanding.
2150  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] PlayBita.com Crypto Down or Up? Join us ! on: August 26, 2023, 10:28:55 AM

The team paying users to test their game would be nice to hear what the experience of the users and whether were they paid instantly without having to ask for support to release the funds. A review thread perhaps?

Is this verifiable or you just guessing? Because when you pay someone to do a review on your website, they are likely not to do an objective review.

A. It’s not casino, traders that understand the market trend makes good money from this platform, Casino is making money when you lose and here it’s the opposite

Well my concern is how they make profit if they say they don't get something from the lossers as we already know that is what happens in casino, brokers and other trading websites.
2151  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NASA admits climate change occurs because of changes in Earth's solar orbit... on: August 25, 2023, 10:35:31 PM
Is NASA saying human activities are not the reason for climate change ? I doubt that humans don't contribute hugely to the change in the environment, although there are natural occurrence that could affect the climate like.carbon dioxide which is emission from vehicles, there is nitrous oxide, vapour from boiling water other substances and there are more that are human activities causing change. The issue is most of the causes of climate change is human factor, smoking is also part of it.

2153  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Back to loss glory on: August 25, 2023, 04:29:32 PM

I have  listened a LGBT person talking about those times as well, and how homophobia was blatant, which was true. We could argue that old times were always better but we need to also remember our experience was not the same for all people living through those years.

It is very possible those times won't ever come back, but rather than living in the past, we must build an even better future.

We can't say that any era was better than the other because they had advantages or disadvantages that came with them. In the past, young people had a slow knowledge base and therefore they lacked financial prudence and freedom, wealth was only concentrated in the hands of adult working class but now it is not the same with the advent of computer, internet and now digital currency age. Young people are ruling this age from tech, social media, security etc. Investment advantages are all over both for employed and non employed despite the argument that those days had more serene and tranquil environment with no ozone depletion, gas flaring, environmental degradation etc.
2154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: August 25, 2023, 04:04:46 PM

Perhaps it's because users are worried that their data will be misused by the casino even though the casino is a trusted casino. After all, there is no guarantee that their data can be safe. They feel it's better to look for casinos that don't apply KYC to their users, and even though it's difficult, they will keep looking until they find one.

Not just the fear of misuse of individual data is the issue but the feeling that cryptocurrency related transactions should be discreet and all that pertains to it, so to request knowing your customer or who has registered with you is originally contravening the privacy that encrypted digital currency encourage. Many users who don't freely give out their identity have such views but when they have no choice and have need to withdraw their winnings , they have to do it.
2155  Economy / Economics / Re: No choice but to use the unavoidable middle man, the exchange companies. on: August 25, 2023, 02:40:21 PM
Well, trust is difficult to earn. And it's often advised not to give it to anybody. We don't easily trust. But does an exchange offer a solution to this? From a certain viewpoint, it actually is making it more problematic. It adds another layer of trust. Not only are we required to trust the person we're trading with, we're now also required to trust the exchange itself. So far, it is proven with sufficient evidence that exchanges cannot be trusted however huge they are.

The issue of trust is the strong factor that we struggle with on the P2P level. Yes bitcoin in it decentralized system eliminated this aspect of third party transaction if all things are equal but just that human selfish factor that breeds distrust. But a P2P is quite successful with bitcoin transaction if both parties eliminate that distrust. For example there are some P2P local groups were with or without the third party escrow service, some parties still transact successfully without distrust which is the original bitcoin decentralized system.
2156  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The danger of gender inequality on: August 25, 2023, 12:29:22 PM
Two candidates visited my office two days ago to submit their applications for the position of a health assistant. I had the honor of taking part in the interviews with them. After the interview, the candidate did very well, but the CMD chose to hire the male candidate because of his physical strength and height as the best contender for the position. He didn't even give the female applicant a chance to demonstrate her qualifications. What do you think about this?
Opportunities should give to the males because they handle all family and their duty is to work an earn money. Females duty is not good for our society because their duty should be take care of house and babies. Their duty is only maintenance of house. This is best for our society. Females should get knowledge of Quran and hadees because these give all necessary things to our society. With doing practical on Quran, we can get success because this a true message of God. Males also should get knowledge of Quran. Physically, males are strong and they deserve jobs and they are eligible for jobs. Allah make a male body strong for hard work. Doing job for money is not good for our society because it causes destruction in our society.

Some of the physical attributes are fast disappearing in the job space and the simple reason is that AL is now taking over jobs and all you need to do is get trained on how to use machines. The time we are is about knowledge and idea so if a lady has a better knowledge, idea or information more than a man, she is best qualified to occupy the job space, this is what is happening now despite the old way of life. Now, except for a few kind of jobs, the gender inequality is fast going away unfortunately for the patrilineal society that dominated the society.
2157  Economy / Economics / Re: Having a problem a Personal Finance? on: August 25, 2023, 12:16:18 PM
.

[c.] Watch videos that can give you inspiration to become better. And mingle with people who have a positive outlook on life.

This is a better idea to me. Reading books on finance appears more frictional like romantic novels. In terms of finance, we need more practical solution so watching people narrate their stories themselves and showing you the practical steps they took to get out of it will encourage you to also try it out. And the other part which is to hang out with like minds can also lift you up. One thing about hanging out is it takes you away from the challenge you are going through and you can be rejuvenated with fresh ideas on how to tackle challenges.
2158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: August 25, 2023, 10:33:11 AM
Casino wallet is not for you to save your coins. It is basically for you to receive reward from the casino after you have played with them. I realize most gamblers don't keep sufficient money or coins on their gambling app for long, either they send it out to their noncustodial wallet for more safety, remember not your key, not your coin because casino can have issue and seize to exist. It is a big risk to keep your coins in casino wallet, it is better with your fiat bank account.

I don’t recommend bank savings either because it has a limited amount to be insured. Storing money on non-custodial wallet using Bitcoin is the best way to save money long term.

Savings in form of fiat and on cryptocurrency are different things. It is those who are highly crypto enthusiast would only keep just crypto without having to save fiat somehow or in the bank. Many users still don't like the fluctuation of bitcoin where they will wake up the next morning and see a sharp drop in their wallet although it could also happen in the other way by increasing but many prefer the value of what they have to be stable and by that they could know their worth. So it is totally a different thing to keep fiat and to keep bitcoin. Having your fiat in the bank has it own disadvantage likewise bitcoin.

Awareness of the importance of KYC must begin to be understood by every gambler so that no gambler experiences problems regarding winnings that fail to be withdrawn.

No other awareness is greater than a gambler to understand that casinos are now requiring KYC and why they request for it.  At least to be sure that their winners account is verifiable and not bot account. But the problem is in two ways actually, one is that some bettors try to cut corners by thinking that the casino will not remember to ask for it and again a dubious casino may include or activate that part of terms and conditions for KYC as we have seen some thread where complaint have been made that such KYC requirements were not in the terms and conditions earlier. So I think casinos should do more of transparency regards to that and specify boldly if they require KYC from the beginning or conditions for KYC like amount for withdrawal that will require KYC.
