2161  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy trading profitable? on: October 14, 2022, 09:13:14 AM
I don't know if being a lead trader will be profitable but if it's not profitable then it's impossible for anyone to want to be a lead trader.
I just know that to be a lead trader must have a not small equity for example on the mexc exchange at least $10000 but for now it's not mandatory
https://support.mexc.com/hc/en-001/articles/10435446316825-The-Beginner-s-Guide-to-Copy-Trade-Trader-
and you must first submit an application and need to wait until your aplications is approved.

On the Bybit.com exchange, it is much easier to get the status of a trading lead in financial terms, for this you need to deposit only $100 - https://www.bybit.com/copyTrading/en-US/master-trader But in addition to $100, you must produce a win rate of more than 60% or, oren ROI that is greater than 30%.
2162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My exorbitant lessons in last bull market on: October 13, 2022, 04:58:50 PM
What is your exorbitant lesson investing in crypto last bull market (2021-2022)? I will like to share mine...

All your mistakes are that you bought at the maximum price and, accordingly, could not sell your coins more expensive. Your next mistake was that you decided not to sell your coins, fixing the loss and continued to hold them until their price lost its value to 95%. After analyzing these mistakes, you should learn a lesson that will help you get a profit on the next bull run.
2163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there something I don't get about USD possible losing it's value? on: October 13, 2022, 01:26:14 PM
...So if OP is holding USD it is appropriate but in the long run it is not a solution and OP waits for bitcoin to reach 12k USD I think it is very unlikely. If you want to buy, now is the right time to buy. waiting is not a good way because the market cannot go as we expect.

It is possible that the price of bitcoin will not decrease to 12 thousand dollars, but there is no doubt that it will continue to decline. In such cases, it is necessary to buy in parts as the price decreases. So DCA remains the right strategy to get a good average purchase price.
2164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there something I don't get about USD possible losing it's value? on: October 13, 2022, 12:20:49 PM
AFAIK, China is now on the test of their CBDC so basically, that's the stable coin in Chinese Yuan that you may want to have but I don't know if they'll publish or list it on exchanges.

CBDC and stablecoins cannot be put on a par, since in fact the former are one of the forms of national money, along with cash and non-cash forms. And since CBDC is the digital currency of the central bank, it does not refer to stablecoins, but to fiat.
2165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra Luna Classic - Take profit or hold? on: October 13, 2022, 10:19:37 AM
...I know there are a lot of people against Luna now but for those who are invested and holding , what is your plan?

A coin that has been subjected to such a dump will never again be an object of investment for large capital. Now this coin has turned into a dummy, which is maintained for the sole purpose of pump&dump. Therefore, if your position is in profit, you should close it and invest in more promising coins.
2166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I know Scam coins and token Through Whitepaper on: October 12, 2022, 12:27:25 PM
If every coin has a Whitepaper, that means both the scam coins and the legit coins has a Whitepaper. Then how can a beginner differentiate a scam coin and a legit coin with the Whitepaper?

Whitepaper will not be able to help you determine whether this project is fraudulent or not. After all, no fraudster will write to Whitepaper that this project is being created for the sole purpose of deceiving investors by appropriating their money. Although if you see that the Whitepaper is copied from another project, then this will indicate that you should refrain from investing.
2167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tool to copy-trade Binance Leaderboard on: October 12, 2022, 09:31:10 AM
Why would I run such a software if not to earn from it? Do you also expect Tesla or Audi to give free cars?
People are buying and following their favourite trader, many are in profit, many are not but that's up to them and up to who they follow...

I am currently testing as an experiment https://www.bybit.com/copyTrade, which allows you to copy the trades of your chosen trader automatically or manually. What is the difference between your paid offer and free copy trading, which are currently being introduced on many exchanges?
2168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy trading / robo investing platforms? on: October 12, 2022, 09:12:26 AM
...I've been working on a project to develop a Telegram bot for copy trading but struggling to find succesful accounts/traders to follow and generally just don't have time to dedicate to it. Suggestions or existing projects out there instead of building my own?

A free copy trading option is now available on many exchanges. As an example, I can recommend the Bybit exchange, where you can filter out traders who are connected to this service by various parameters - https://www.bybit.com/copyTrade/ Here you can also simply subscribe to watch the trades of a trader who is of interest to you.
2169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest Heavily ALT now on: October 12, 2022, 08:40:04 AM
...Most Alts vanish in a bear market, the main reason is no fundamentals. ..

Investing during a bear market is dangerous with respect to any coin, if there has not yet been a market reversal. It is better to buy altcoins already when we saw the confirmation of growth. In this case, we will have a slightly higher purchase price, but it will be safer than if you try to buy every time the price reaches another low.
2170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: October 11, 2022, 09:32:12 PM
They are very smart, even able to spend a lot of money to just take the investors' money. But we have experienced this many times, I'm sure of it. It's just that some of us are often negligent and in a hurry to do something, this has the potential to make it easier for them to carry out their actions.

I think the problem lies not in negligence, but in our greed. The desire to get a few hundred percent in a short time, closes our mind from reality. At the same time, the opportunity to earn 5-10% is no longer considered a good profit, although these percentages exceed what traditional banks offer us.
2171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is ETH Post-Merge Hype Over? on: October 11, 2022, 03:25:41 PM
The ETH merger is one of the events that the crypto community has been waiting for but unfortunately the event did not have a good impact on the price movement of the coin because if we look after the merger event is over, the price of the ethereum coin has decreased and it is probably caused by investors selling simultaneously causing the market to panic and causing prices to continue to decline for several days after the merger was completed.

Obviously, the ETH pump was triggered by the news of the upcoming Ethereum merger. Accordingly, it was then that it was necessary to fix your profit, and not wait and hope that after the merger the price will continue to increase. Now it is necessary to wait for the bull market, which may lead to a new ATH.
2172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin to be used for micropayments on Twitter? on: October 11, 2022, 12:40:34 PM
I don't see it happening in reality to be honest. Even though Elon is going ahead with this deal, I don't see Doge is being accepted in Twitter. There are multiple regulatory blockers which will make it very difficult for Elon to roll out such things worldwide...

We remember that Elon Musk previously appealed to the Twitter management with a request to introduce such an opportunity to pay for a premium package with Doge coins. And if such an offer was rejected earlier, now the chances of realizing it will increase very much after Musk becomes the rightful owner of this social network. And this will undoubtedly affect the value of the coin, as it will add even more utility to it.
2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDC - ERC20 Coin - Where To Transfer To To Sell And Put Funds In My Bank A/C on: October 11, 2022, 11:47:47 AM
...Can anyone recommend a similar company to coinbase so that i
can transfer my USDC there and then sell these and transfer the funds to my bank account..

In your message, you did not specify which fiat currency you ultimately want to receive after exchanging your existing USDC. If this is one of the national currencies supported by the Binance exchange, then you can first exchange your stablecoins for it, and then make a withdrawal directly to your credit card.
2174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You only lose nothing if you hold BTC on: October 11, 2022, 11:13:10 AM
To all my fellow newbies out there, you must have come across some advice saying that you lose nothing if you hold your coins, that's not 100% true, you only lose nothing if you buy Bitcoin, some people bought BTC at 19000$ in 2017 ATH and they held, BTC later hit 60,000+ but that's because its BTC, do not try this with Altcoins, many Altcoins will die and many won't ever reach their ATH again.

Of course, there is a minimum goal for some to save their funds, but when investing, the goals should be higher: not just to save their funds, but to multiply them. Accordingly, those who bought bitcoins for 17 thousand dollars and did not sell for 60 thousand, they did not lose anything, but also did not get a profit, as they continue to hold their BTC.
2175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 11, 2022, 10:53:31 AM
The personal trading strategy I have in mind is to buy on the dip and wait for the market to bounce. Price fluctuations will help you make a profit but of course the best recommendation is on bitcoin rather than altcoin. ..

"Sell at the maximum price and buy at the minimum" is not a trading strategy, since this is the basic rule of trading, which should ensure profit. But in this case, the conditions that precede the opening or closing of a transaction, as well as the risk of the transaction and its term, are considered for the trading strategy. Accordingly, different interpretations generate a huge number of trading strategies, and each trader in this case can develop an individual one.
2176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STEPN (GMT) Price Prediction 2022-2030 on: October 10, 2022, 11:56:40 PM
There is no guarantee that this token will still exist in 2030, so there is no point in trying to predict its price in the future. But already now we can see that the largest profit was received by the first Stepn investors at the expense of those who joined later and thus it becomes more like a ponzi scheme.
2177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attaching copyright to NFT on: October 10, 2022, 11:25:04 PM
Since NFT only represent the metadata associated with the work and not the work itself. How can copyright be attached to an NFT to allow for the transfer of ownership of the work itself?

It is in this metadata that the name and description of this NFT are included, and, if necessary, a link to the original image, if this NFT is a copy of the original painting, as well as the wallet address that will help identify its creator. Thus, if you create a NFT yourself based on another author's work, you will not own the copyright to this original image.
2178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning - 100,000 ETH Giveaway!!!! on: October 10, 2022, 07:07:43 PM
I search @rolmeda real name is Rafael Olmeda, who is him? if his account doesn't get hacked, I think he will go to the jail if there's many report created and the police obviously can get his personal information considering social media have low privacy.

And if he is caught and he makes this excuse of his account being hacked, all the money he scammed will be traced. He can not escape it if those he scams get to report him to the police.

I doubt that the real Rafael Almeida is behind this scam, since in this case it would not be difficult for the police to find him and bring charges. Scammers in such cases never use their verified accounts, as they understand all the risks associated with their identification and subsequent punishment.
2179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about CBDCs? on: October 10, 2022, 06:52:53 PM
...these people belive that CBDCs are a threat to cryptocurrencies and can displace them. ..

CBDC poses a real threat not to the cryptocurrency as a whole, but to the stablecoins, since the latter are exactly the analogue of fiat. Despite the fact that stablecoins can be not only centralized, like CBDC, but also decentralized, it should be recognized that CBDC is more reliable than stablecoins, since their cost is provided by the state.
2180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: October 10, 2022, 05:58:31 PM
Presently, scam has become a lot more critical than ever before...

Scammers have always been and will always be, as long as people have such a vicious quality as greed. Therefore, as a rule, people do not conduct a full-fledged evaluation of the project before investing, when they are offered the opportunity to make quick money in a limited period of time.
