2161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 05, 2021, 02:32:45 AM
I think Inoue will be the undisputed champion if the fight ever happens. He's young and still undefeated, and he will reign in the bantam class for a long time if he stays in bantam. Anyway, Donaire isn't getting any younger, and judging from their 1st fight, his gas may be last shorter than 9th round. His winning scenario is only if he can KO Inoue in early-mid rounds. That said, I'd put my money on Inoue.

I think @Bitinity won fair and square, bonus buy allowed, no minimum bet, and only him who post on the thread.
2165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: July 02, 2021, 12:26:14 PM
But if you were to win really big in poker, it's enough to upset the fees that will be charged on you plus I don't think that not a lot of gambling houses are charging fees with poker, most of the places I visited are charging based on items you paid while playing the game like the glasses of booze, candy and cigarettes.
If I won then HE/fees doesn't matter whatever game I played. There are always fees, yes in land based casinos the food & beverages scheme can exist, but in online PVP, it can't be applied. Without fees, there is no reason for the casino to host the game.

All gambling activities are negative sum because of fees, so better playing games if you like it, not because of +EV, or get rich bullshit.
2166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent can sport be strengthened with cryptocurrencies on: July 02, 2021, 07:25:57 AM
Common scenario, the usage of crypto in:
- promotion/funding/sponsorship
- sportsbetting
- NFT collectibles

Wild scenario:
- DAO for sports when you can own a club, vote, etc.

I wanted to give more example about "wild scenario" but I guess I'm too old to imagine things.
2167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: July 02, 2021, 06:57:36 AM
thanks for sharing your secrets royce
ROFL, wrong user.

Come on guys, the expected value is always negative. How can you promote something where the expected value is negative and the casino always wins?
Casino always wins in poker as well, they charge fees.

Why not promoting games where you have a decent amount of skill required to win - ideally in a pvp environment.
It means if you have a bad skill you will hardly win. It's not fun for casual gamblers who want to have some fun playing games. There are reasons slots (and chance games) dominate online casinos, while PVP skill games not really popular. Not everyone wants to be serious playing games and get competitive.

Secondly, PVP needs lots of players to fill the room, balance matchmaking, and mechanism to deal with smurf accounts, all that to prevent newbies to leave instantly, crying, and won't come to the site anymore.

So, is a bit mystery for the person who created that challenge have the money he for challenge he was created. Grin
He should have the money. I tried to create one but received "insufficient balance" notification.

As predicted, people start to use it to promote referral code Grin
Well, if lots of people use your code, you might get profit in the long run assumed they will still use your code, and not enroll with alts only for joining the contests.
2169  Economy / Economics / Re: The slave does not dream of freedom, but of being the slave-master on: July 02, 2021, 02:39:21 AM
The term "slave" is broad and often used figuratively. Think about it, slave don't have ownership (assets), and they don't have freedom (to choose). Nowadays most of us (well, except people from CCP country) have the freedom to choose our career, to work or become unemployed, to pursue our happiness. That's nowhere near the true medieval slave.

I don't think we strive to be a slave master in its literal sense. We don't own people, but simply pay them for their work. They are free to come and go. Just like Bitcoin, where the relationship between nodes isn't slave-master, thus every node can come and go, and only get paid from its proof-of-work.
2170  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it good to allow Black Money to be whiten by investing in Stock? on: July 02, 2021, 02:19:48 AM
It sounds like a legalized money laundering scheme by a corrupt government. However, this scheme is well-known tax amnesty type:

Quote
On the other hand, there are some tax amnesty schemes which provide legal amnesty as well. This means that these schemes basically promise that the government will simply close their eyes to the source of the taxable income as well. The government promises to not conduct any investigation or disclose any information after they receive the tax revenue, which is due to them.
Source

I think it will reward criminals, corrupt politicians, etc., where they should be punished. Sure it will boost the government revenue but I don't think this type of tax amnesty is ethical. I prefer the other tax amnesty type where it simply waives penalty from tax evasion.

Yup's Duelbits is one of the fastest responding support on all casinos that i come to play since then that's why i never doubt the integrity of the site .
I still remember the conversation with Duelbits only via email, no live support at that time. It's nice to see them growing and finally have dedicated support.

Yap, I'm not quite sure when it was solved as I did not receive notification/message from the support as what they said when I keep on asking them in the first 3 days.
Hmm, so the support isn't responding to you either? I think this happened only to me because a few hours ago I also tried to contact them but have not received a response until now, I saw that one of the agents was online and tried to send a message and it didn't respond. There are 2 possibilities, they are busy or the service is not good, I hope this doesn't continue.
Support is always responding me fast (less than 5 minutes). Perhaps support agent forgot to notify me when my issue is solved by the teach team or perhaps there is a miscommunication between the teach team and the support agent.
Probably they are still new or too many users to handle.

My luck is rising lately on Duelbits, hopefully the contests will still running despite they already acquired regular users.
2172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: about eCash (ex BCHA) on: July 01, 2021, 04:00:49 PM
AFAIK it's the same, ~21 Million BCHA = ~21 Million * 1,000,000 XEC
XEC is like Satoshi (bits to be precise), nothing change except the notation or how you write.

1 BTC = 100,000,000 Sats
1 BCHA = 1,000,000 XEC

Quote
7. What is the base unit of eCash?
eCash uses ”bits” which make it easy to send small payments because you no longer have to handle unwieldy decimal places. For instance, instead of sending 0.00001000 bitcoins (which was the base unit used by BCHA), you’ll simply send 10 bits!

2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Guys Think About So-Called "Shit-coin" ? on: July 01, 2021, 02:44:54 PM
Whether an altcoin is a shitcoin is purely subjective, so there will be no consensus about the definition and stuff. For Bitcoin maximalist, there is only Bitcoin, and the rest is altcoin/shitcoin, it's pretty much the same. However, for me, I have to try it first. If it works and I have a good experience using the particular coin (to buy goods and services), I won't call it shitcoin.
2174  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pragmatic play slots not available in my region on: July 01, 2021, 02:32:00 PM
I am not a VPN lover, I just use VPN to play some providers! There's no other way around that...

...

Well, I can't say I asked support about it, I just tried to play with VPN on (from Germany), it worked fine... I had several deposits/withdraws and for now, everything is fine and I will probably continue to play certain providers like that!
I use VPN as well lol but that decision is with 100% awareness if I somehow win and my withdrawal then blocked, there's nothing I can do about it. Yeah, I have no problem up to this moment, but it doesn't mean there will be no problem in the future. And compared to butt naked without VPN, I'd surely use one.
2175  Economy / Economics / Re: What Binance Market ban is about on: July 01, 2021, 02:04:02 PM
Each country has its own rules and regulations. Binance operation seems not suitable for some countries (of course about KYC and AML), thus those with special interest will ban them, while some just don't care. It's difficult to operate globally, especially if it involves finance. Anyway, this news seems hot just because of the magnitude of the country, i.e., UK. FYI, the Binance domain has been blocked in my country long time ago.

To rectify this, I often swin naked in the seas, and I eat products like itsu seaweed thins
Sir, why not just use iodized salt...

Anyway, I don't buy this iodine can cure anything other than goiter. If that's the case, people in my country will be so healthy since we all use iodized salt. But maybe we haven't taken enough of iodine? Megadose needed? LoL.
2177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After China, Now it's Mexico's Turn to Ban Crypto on: June 30, 2021, 01:13:41 PM
As long as possession of cryptocurrencies isn't illegal, there is no concern about banning crypto for legal tender or its usage in existing financial system. People can still own crypto and treat it like a digital asset. Anyway, let's say the possession of cryptocurrency then deemed illegal, the government can't eradicate it all, just like crack and cocaine, someone somewhere will still use it and trade it, and that's a tangible goods which you can see it.
2178  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pragmatic play slots not available in my region on: June 30, 2021, 12:08:29 PM
For those VPN lovers, I advise you guys don't play with big money, since even if you get an epic win, there is still some possibility they will deny your withdrawal. Nowadays, VPN is pretty much necessary, but that's the reality of the 3rd party slots, we cannot access some from our country. There's no "legal" workaround about that, so pick another provider if you want to be sure there will be no problem in the future. The good thing is, slots games are pretty much similar, so you will have the alternative title from different provider.

Anyway, there's also a possibility that some casinos don't block mentioned combination (region x - Pragmatic Play), @OP so better mention what's your region so perhaps some of us have interesting info.
2179  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and middle class as a mentality on: June 30, 2021, 04:51:13 AM
Yep, and the culture is also different. I remember the poor man culture (*cough* socialism) was exist in my years of public school education, but not so much in the private school. The teacher's attitude was also different so that you can tell which was paid less. I came to the conclusion, if the poor get the same culture and the education quality as the rich, their future will differ significantly. Yes, the poor still have the lack of capital, but at least they can/will fight, instead of giving up, become unemployed, etc.

Bisa opt-out kok gan:

Ya pakai "provider alert" mana saja ga masalah sih asal jangan yang pakai minta private key, sudah jelas ga butuh itu untuk sekedar alert saja.
