All exhanges that I have checked have their deposits closed.

What exchange does allow deposits in BCC?

Cryptox.pl
HitBTC
Love to hear more from people.
2162  Economy / Economics / Re: Make Bitcoin Great Again! on: August 01, 2017, 03:41:11 PM
No doubt block size is biggest Bitcoin concern atm and reason for series of forks. Best solution for block size is always Segwit and 2Mb is more than enough for now. So we could see huge decline in Bitcoin fees after Segwit2x fork for sure.
Today's decline in fees is temporary due to conservative people approach before fork but soon after Segwit2x fork maybe in Nov, we will see permanent downfall in fees. This will surely make Bitcoin great again and merchant friendly.

PS: Bitcoin Cash 8Mb block size sucks!  Tongue

$0 is definitely not happening  Tongue

maybe not till first crash but it should not take long Smiley

Bullshit. Even the worthless shitcoins basically no one using anymore are not worth zero  Wink

All shitcoins no matter how shitty they are when launched into the market, are backed by some investment either in ICO or pre-sale. So the value of those coins is build by investors who gambled in them.
But here scenario is completely different, in other words BCC is launching ICO on Aug 1 for free. Do you really think free item has any value!
2166  Economy / Speculation / Re: prediction on 2018 bitcoin will become on: July 30, 2017, 05:13:24 PM
who know bitcoin will become in 2018 i think its not possible it become 50k USD  Grin Grin

A guy is going crazy because of bitcoin, do not live in dreams, we should look at reality, bitcoin is slowly losing power, it is no longer the dominant currency of all markets. It may go up, but it will take slow steps.

Slowness doesn't belong to Bitcoin. We are talking about one year, let me tell you what could happen in one year. Segwit gets activated, leading to 2MB hard fork. This will split into two major Bitcoins- out of which one is we are speculating now and other Segwit one. Segwit Bitcoin will be backed by >90% miners leading most of the users to switch over to it. Afterwards, in three-four months, Segwit bitcoin will take over Bitcoin Core's empire completely. Owing to small fees and fast confirmations, merchants will start accepting Bitcoin largerly.
So in broader frame, after one year, BTC (core) would be $500-600 something whereas BTC (Segwit) would be $10-15k.

2168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for a country to block bitcoins (or even the whole cryptos) on: July 30, 2017, 04:00:55 PM
Just like the title says, is it possible to block crypto currencies if the government decides to?

They could enforce the ISP to block online payments made or something like that, is it possible?

Nope. It is certainly impossible for government to block cryptocurrency use in the country. Although it can be controlled and censored effectively by putting ban on major exchanges. Now suppose if a government decides to ban porn, does it delete files from your computer or server? Exactly not, it simply ban popular sites. But people easily access them via vpn, proxy, etc.
Similarly in case of cryptocurrencies, these can still easily be send/receive using vpn, proxies, etc but buying/selling would become nearly impossible except face-to-face trade.
2169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long are BTC transactions taking? on: July 30, 2017, 03:34:41 PM
I bought some BTC on Coinbase last night and had it sent to Poloniex.  I know the BTC wallet address was accurate.  Its still pending 11 hours later and doesn't show up in the Poloniex deposit/withdrawal history.  Any clue on how long BTC transactions are taking?

You need not worry about that. Coinbase is working on backlog so transactions are delayed. I tried it two-three days ago and encountered similar problem. Usually Coinbase generate transaction immediately and one can track on explorer but currently it is taking time to initate. My transaction took 13 hours to complete.

How long it takes depends on the fee you paid but generally with a sufficient fee it should show up on poloniex within an hour.

Coinbase doesn't allow to choose random fees. It has one fee for all transactions irrespective of size and user.
2170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some theories about bitcoin price because of BCC airdrop on: July 30, 2017, 03:13:56 PM
Nice topic, well all three theories show that BCC has very dull future ahead and I believe it could harly survive airdrop and rise again in any near future.
Now coming to theories. I would go with third one. Bitcoin Cash isn't capable enough to create any impact via first or second theory and will be one of other insignificant altcoins. I am conducting somewhat similar poll on Twitter and results clearly reflect that community is surely waving to third theory -

2171  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Fork & How it will change Bitcoin? on: July 30, 2017, 02:55:45 PM
So, as you all know, we are receiving emails and notifications from Coinbase, Bitstamp etc about the upcoming Hard and Soft fork!

I am curious to have  discussion about what is going to happen to our BTC and what will develop with the BCC in terms of exchanging and new prices etc.

There are already so many similar threads, check 'Bitcoin Discussion' section and I guess I have already answered hundred of them.
You need not worry much about this fork. Its like in the class of 100 students, 95 going to study Science but 5 chose Commerce. So it will not that big economic viable fork. All you need to do is to follow guide as sent to you by your wallet via mail.
If they are planning to add BCC too, then you don't have to do anything than waiting. Your account will automatically added with both ballances in few days.
If they aren't planning to add then I suggest you not to send your btc here and there, better keep using Bitcoins and forget BCC, you won't gonna get millions selling 'em.

2173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fork August 1. for android users on: July 29, 2017, 06:01:34 PM
I asked coinomi support, how they are prepared for August 1 and we can hold our bitcoins on coinomi. They gave me the link for detailed infos:
https://medium.com/@coinomi/on-bitcoin-fork-and-how-to-stay-on-the-safe-side-dcfed3eadef9
Even the free BCC will be paid to coinomi, at split, sp that bcc can be sent, private keys exportet and more.
Maybe there are also other android wallets which are prepared for bitcoin fork. You could post them here.

I am an Android user and access this forum and most of my Bitcoin activities over phone. Instead of relying on wallets, I have my own strategy.
I have created public and private keys using BitAddress and sent my funds onto it. Keys are easily accessible with mobile with Electrum and Mycelium so its best solution and I need not wait about other wallets' decision over BCC.

2176  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Capitalism Flawed? on: July 29, 2017, 05:24:29 PM

Surely, it is. That is the reason economists always stress on implementing Capitalism in only those countries which are rich enough to sustain person-to-person competition.
Coming to your listed points, all points stress on single idea and that is "Capitalism widen gap between richs and poors." No doubt its true enough. But this doesn't make the Capitalism failure. Capitalism is important form of economy setup and the one resulting in most growth as well as economic development. Thus, it is important for global development.

I never said it's a total failure, I said that it has flaws and has to be fixed.

I recognize the technological advancements caused by Capitalism and that is good.

But on the other hand people are getting poorer each day, and jobs are lost to automation. How do you solve that issue?

I think a universal basic income is needed.

As you introduce the concept of universal basic income, I would like to plot the example of government sector in my country. In India, government job means total job security and stability as well as regular pay. Thus government employees are off standard and public sector in India is much behind the private. Thus introducing universal basic income will leads to huge decline in global productivity. And what about new innovations taking place everyday??
2177  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo or Coinbase ? Which is better and Why ? on: July 29, 2017, 04:11:07 PM
So Xapo just announced that will help members decide for BTC or BCC in case a fork happens and Coinbase says it will only support the strongest coin.

I am planning in moving some funds to Xapo, seems the better option for this happening, don't you guys think?

Choices are made between two competitive items not when one is far relevant than other. It would be nothing less than stupid choosing BCC being Bitcoin user, however for miners both coins can be profitable in long run.
So this one fork can't determine Xapo to be better than Coinbase. Coinbase is much more reputable company with 7.5M users on its side.
2178  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Should exchanges be trusted anymore? on: July 29, 2017, 03:57:58 PM
Had been in a dilemma after seeing BTC-E's owner being arrested for a $4 Billion money-laundering fraud which he had been conducting, who knows that from when. First Mt Gox, then Bitfinex then Poloniex and now this, few were hacked and some had their admins only cheating their users.
Do you really think any exchanges are trustworthy anymore?

Before classifying anything as trustworthy or not, first clear out your criteria. Now what exchange meant to, to be used as wallets? For holding coins? Indeed not, as suggested by name itself they are meant to exchange coins. So if we stick to their use as exchange then no doubt they are much more trustworthy than individuals or random people offering exchange service.
But if you made mind to not withdraw coins from exchange and use them as wallets then pretty sorry, anything could happen.
