I'm a little bit bothered by this one. I've also read an accusation to sportsbet.io before (I'm sorry if I can't find the link of the post anymore) about the same issue that they do not let their customer cash out after winning and deactivating his account at the same time. I just ignore that post before because I thought it was an isolated case but now it seems not because another complainant revealed.  Actually I'm planning to try this gambling site to start my gambling journey but I guess I will stop. Whether it is proven scam or not, it doesn't matter anymore. I'll avoid this one just to be safe.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: January 10, 2019, 07:49:10 AM
I'm not a gambling addict but I get hooked into other bad stuffs and one of those is watching porn. Well, we all know that watching porn is normal and it is a part of being a man but honestly I come to the point that I want to stop it already because I noticed that it slowly ruins my life not only on the physical aspect (such as being lazy and always tired) but also to my mentality. In order to stop my "a little bit" addiction to porn, I seek some advice through google. I research about the benefits of NoFap, watch testimonies from those who  completed the 30 day nofap challenge and other ways to stop my habit. But in the end, I failed; all the information that I gained from my research remain as knowledge and I didn't put into actions. Did you know the feeling that your brain know what is right but your body refuse to do so because the urge was so strong? That's what I felt that time. And unfortunately, the things became even worse when my girlfriend and I got a quarrel regarding this.

But with God's grace, I finally overcome that bad habit. What I did is I set my fear as my motivation. I'm feared that my  girlfriend will continue to have bad impression to me, lose trust on me and leave me but instead of getting frustrated I used those possibilities to fix myself. So for those people who have gambling addiction or addiction of any form, set your loved ones as your motivation. Imagine the worst thing that could possibly go wrong or the pain you might bring to them if you continue your addiction, for sure you will feel remorseful after. Now use it as your driving force to change Smiley.

PS: sorry for the slight shifting of topic.
2183  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Filipino crypto users on: January 10, 2019, 01:30:48 AM
I don't think so. I think this forum just became so popular (I guess mainly beacause of sig campaigns) that's why lots of new accounts are emerging. I don't think the reason behind these growing population are the alt accounts because I can't see the sense of creating one. Creating alt account is such a big waste of your time since merit system was already implemented, meaning, you can't rank even how hard you post or even how long you're already here; unless you are undoubtedly a good quality poster, knows a lot not only in the general discussions but also in technical ones, active here in the forum and obeys rules at the same time (like crwth, cabalism13, bl4nkcode, mjglqw etc)

Creating alts is unethical anywa (IMO) so avoid doing this. Instead, why don't you just focus on your account, improve your post history and make your name recognizable here in our local board or to the whole forum. It's more awesome, right? Smiley
2184  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Help me elite's on: January 09, 2019, 02:04:37 PM
I once adviced by my mentor before to try joining bounty campaigns but I refused because of monthly payments (that was already too long for me). Anyway, my few knowledge about stakes still retains in my mind so here it goes.

Total allocated token for the campaign (no. of stakes you have / total no. of stakes) = Your reward (as simple as that)

For example, there is a budget of 150,000 tokens for the whole campaign and you got an accumulated amount of 5 stakes during as a Full member for the whole campaign (the higher the rank, the greter chance of having a higher stake). And if you will compute all the stakes generated by all the participants it will be 500 stakes. So..

150,000 tokens (5 stakes / 500 stakes) = 1500 tokens. You will receive 1500 tokens as a reward Smiley.
2185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: January 09, 2019, 12:04:55 PM
I really want to receive the instruction of the go-ahead, thank a lots.  Kiss Kiss
Being demanding is not a pleasant attitude Undecided.

No offense but for me what you did was an irresponsible move. You suddenly invested on crypto without even studying. Well, it's your money not mine so I got nothing to lose. Honestly, as much as possible, I don't want to see an individual slowly losing his interest to crypto due to his own mistakes so I think much better for you to study first (start with familiarizing the basics). Watch video tutorials in youtube, find answers to your queries here in the Trading Discussion Section or even try this trading simulators.

I hope this one helps, good luck Smiley.
2186  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Did anyone notice a familiar logo on the UFC 232: JONES VS. GUSTAFFSON 2 event? on: January 09, 2019, 10:31:11 AM
I saw this announcement today > https://litecoin-foundation.org/litecoin-ufc/ and decided to look it up and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the LTC logo in the octagon.
Cool, right? Litecoin became the first crypto which sponsors the UFC and even maybe the first one in the world of mix martial arts competition Smiley. I might say that ltc's advertisement is quite effective because as we look in the chart, ltc was around $32 on Dec. 30

(Source: Coinmarketcap)

Now, litecoin's price jump into $39. A possible reason for this price increase is the audience who got interested investing on ltc after they saw its logo on the Jones vs Gustafsson 2 fight.

samantala nakakalungkot tignan ang iyong profile dahil 1000+ na ang iyong posts ngunit wala ka kahit ni isang merit. Try to be more constructive next time.
It's because most of his posts are single liners only. Yes! There's nothing to be concerned when it comes to his English grammar but the thought of his posts are not deeply explained maybe that's why other members cannot appreciate his work.
2188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. on: January 09, 2019, 01:45:04 AM
if you were to invest in ethereum do it now, because of the upcoming fork on jan 11 to jan 18, there will be 3 forks so on every eth you hold in your personal wallet like "my ether wallet" you get each of those 3 forks first will be ethereum classic vission, Ethereum Nowa Hard Fork, Ethereum Constantinople Hard Fork.
Excuse me, I have a correction. The only legit upcoming hardfork of Ethereum is Constantinople which will be on Jan. 18. The developers will only upgrade their system, switching from PoW to PoS, and there's no new token to be distributed.

By the way, the other 2 is probably a scam. Check this out. I hope it will now be clear for all of you Smiley.
2189  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isang Dahilan Bakit Bearish ang Market on: January 08, 2019, 01:19:37 PM
Nakakalungkot isipin na ang merkado ay hindi parin bumabalik sa dati nitong kalagayan
Well, that's natural. The shift from bear market to bullish one will not happen in a snap of a finger, let's face the fact that we are still going through many ups and dowsmns before the market fully recovers. In short, it still be a long way for us to reach our dream of a having a prosperous market (like a new ATH or more than that) but don't lose hope. Find the silver lining in every kind of situation, btc's price is now up by .71% (according to CMC). That's a good news, right? Smiley. Just remain positive.
We have different speculation but we really cannot identify the real reason why we are bearish last year.
Now, the market is still bearish and instead of finding the reason why, I guess it's better to  find what will happen next..
Exactly, it's very hard to identify the reasons behind every speculations so why mind spending time for it. Instead of debunking the past and guessing the future, why don't we focus to the present so that we'll never miss opportunities the crypto world offers right now.
2190  Other / Meta / Re: HOW do I get merit? on: January 08, 2019, 11:43:52 AM

When you don’t depend on your signature campaign to make a living your account level is irrelevant. Spammer detected
Oh! Coming from you. I can't believe it Undecided.  I look into your post history but I can't find the "innumerable high quality posts" you are pertaining about. Are you even aware that you are guilty on what you are accusing to others — that you are also a spammer? Nevermind.

Anyway, much better if you will be just patient instead of complaing because if you are really deserving for a merit then it will come naturally. Good luck.
2191  Economy / Reputation / Re: Poll: is it OK to send merits to your own alts? on: January 08, 2019, 09:54:17 AM
And yet I dont even think about sharing my Merit to my alt, I'll be just fooling myself.
You nailed it! I also disagree on the concept of one's giving a merit into his alt account/s. Okay let's say that we will not put the violation of rules and being unethical into considerations yet for me it was still a terrible idea because you are only fooling yourself (like what cabalism13 said). Have you ever heard a story of a heroic soldier who gave himself the Medal of Honor as a reward for his own bravery? Of course not! There's no such thing like that. A true recognition should came from others — from other people who appreciate your work and effort, not from yourself. Giving merits to yourself is a form of "lifting one's own chair" and that is nothing to be proud of.
2192  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin price is falling down on: January 08, 2019, 08:48:45 AM
Dude, there's already a significant rise happened in the market and we see this right now. Though btc declines by 1.25% up to very this moment, I think that's still normal so nothing to be afraid of. Too early to conclude that btc will not have a probability of pumping hard this year, much better if we just wait and see how the trend moves for the upcoming months.
2193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ETH wallet supports the upcoming hard forks? on: January 08, 2019, 05:34:53 AM
1. classic vision has no identifiable team so the project is questionable.
2. nowa has been exposed as a definite scam with shuttershock photos
3. constantinople is a real fork, but you won't get any free coins, any eth wallet is fine
Lel. So, we shouldn't expect to get free coins. Because we really won't get free coins at all from the upcoming fork.
[/quote]
I also was confused before after hearing some rumors about this upcoming hardfork and I don't know what to believe in, either there's a new token to be lauch or not. The real thing is there's no new token, Constantinople is just a change in protocol (from PoW to PoS). Well, I'm not also a geek to fully understand about that hard fork but one thing is for sure — they will have an upgrade in their system and no launching of token will happen.

So for OP, no need to ask for a wallet that supports a "new token" because it was clearly a misconception.
2194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: could it be the next scenario? on: January 08, 2019, 03:13:07 AM
But the fundamental for 2019 is quite good (as long as it did happen). Bakkt, ETF, etc can bring new positive sentiment for the market, after that the halving will happen.
That's why I think the opposite. I think that 2019 will be a year for btc pumping thus the right time for selling. So let's make the most of the bear market while it lasts — buy as much as possible.
<snip>
I agree with you, a lot of traders have shared their prediction based on the analyzing the chart but it didn't happen.
Now, I am more reliant to external factor just like news or speculation because this is a big factor that will move the price, just getting more matured in the market will help us make a timely decision, but I still appreciate what OP has shared, those information are also vital.
Me too, I only set news, chart analyses and predictions as a guide and not my full basis when making decisions. I just keep my eyes on the market and use my intuition every time it changes, it seems less technical but at least it is simple and besides that's where I am comfortable with Smiley.
2195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin investors more focus than altcoin investors? on: January 08, 2019, 01:53:57 AM
I think it is. Bitcoin investor more focus on their investment rather than altcoin investor. Maybe its because many altcoin are pump and dump project. Its true many good altcoin project and have prospect in the future but i think people focus on bitcoin
I do agree. In terms of hodling, btc investors are more passionate and serious since they knew that the coin they're holding has a very bright future and they don't want to miss the opportunities it could bring. While on the other hand, alt investors tend to pump and dump only like what you've said.

But in terms of trading I think the opposite happens — alt investors are more focus than the other. Alts are less stable than btc so they really need to exert more time and effort in order to make profits
2196  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ETF and Bakkt will have effect, but BTC halving is the main deal. on: January 07, 2019, 11:28:11 AM
I have seen several posts about how ETF and Bakkt could make the crypto market bullish again. As much as I really want the ETF and Bakkt, I really don't believe they will moon cryptocurrency. They will definitely cause the market to be bullish but they won't make cryptos to moon to a new all time high.
Indeed. These two things will surely help to relieve market but not to the point that a new ATH will happen or even equalizing it. But who knows? Maybe this is the stepping stone for attracting more investors that sooner will lead to mass adoption — the more the adopters, the higher the demand which also means the increase in price at the same time.

Honestly, I'm already contented if btc at least reach half of its ATH this year. My holdings can now generate a decent profit from it (but still hoping for more Cheesy)
2197  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the faith of bitcoin this year on: January 07, 2019, 09:54:26 AM
You talk about 'faith'.bitcoin is not a category of faith, but rather a belief in investing.
Excuse me, like as what nydiacaskey01 said, it's fate not faith.

If you are sure about Bitcoin in investing, if you are skeptical about Bitcoin backwards, there is no one in the investment world who forces someone to trade, it is all the confidence of all users.
for the price of Bitcoin, you know the price now, so if you believe that bitcoin will rise one day, keep investing and vice versa.
I see your point and it's good to know that you're a true believer. However, everyone is not as brave as you. We should understand that there are investors who are scared and hesitate sometimes that's why they tend to ask first. This happens simply because they don't know whether their choice is the best thing to do in the current situation thus seeking for tips and advices from the others to get assurance.
2198  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Handa ka na ba? on: January 07, 2019, 08:46:22 AM
samantalahin mo now habang mababa mga alts na bumili and do some day trade upang ng sa ganun eh kumita ka.
I agree with you, that's why I'm starting to buy eth as much as I can  because I have a gut feel that it will pump this year. Actually I really wanted to tey day trading, the only problem is that I don't have a nice pc or at least a laptop so for now I don't have any choice but to hodl (how unfortunate I am). Maybe I'll buy one as soon as my saving grow bigger.
Look for new one na potential, daming SLEEPING GIANT now,, Smiley look on my SIG..  Wink
Is that a new hardfork of btc (I guess so)? I never heard of this one coming, maybe I'll check it later. Thanks for the new info Smiley.
2199  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto In The Phillipines Doesn't Have Any Progress on: January 07, 2019, 07:57:52 AM
Actually Bitcoin is still great despite of having a low value on the current market, just imagine bitcoin is still at the thousand dollar value
Well, you're right somehow. Maybe I already get used to btc's price which doesn't not fall down under $10k mark that's why I get a little bit upset when huge dips occur like the current market we have right now.
2019 will also be the same like the past year, on the majority of chances it will not have an increase (might be wrong)
Nah, I don't think so. It is impossible that good news this 2019 such as the ETF for bitcoin (still under consideration), Bakkt's launching and the launch of Eth 2.0 can't contribute something to change the bear market. I know it's too early to make conclusions but I really feel that this is gonna be a good year for all of us Smiley.
2200  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto In The Phillipines Doesn't Have Any Progress on: January 06, 2019, 01:29:28 PM
As I was observing on our community, there hasn't been much change on this economy regards on crypto. Especially when the BTC value continues to fall last December and upto the current time.
I agree. As you may look into the crypto related groups in FB and Reddit, they now became less active and only posts about referals keep their page alive. The worse case is that some of them already shifted the content of their group from crypto to meme (so terrible right?). Another good example is our local board especially in the altcoin section,  I observed that the number of Filipinos who interact here gets fewer — less threads are generated and less replies are posted everyday. Imagine also this one, even my mentor, who is already in this industry couple of years before I started also lose his interest due to the depressing status of our market; what more for those people who only get hyped by btc's ATH last 2017 Undecided.

These things are signs that people are now losing interest not only to btc but to crypto in general (It's manifests in the price). This is sad but true. Nevertheless, I still believe that btc will be great again and everyone should too.
Some thinks that it wasn't worth their time to stay for long and wait until the rise of CoinKing.
Exactly! People are only interested about the price and not to its technology, to its concept and to its potential to revolutionize the traditional way of doing daily transactions. Well, I can't blame them because not all of us got the interest in technical aspects.
