Three belts in one night Shocked. I watched the official weigh ins a while ago and it makes me hyped and excited to watch UFC 245. Based on the crowd reaction, it's prerry obvious that most of them vote for Kamaru because the "boos" started after Colby step the stage. In all fairness, he don't let the negativity affect him and remains cocky instead. I'm actually surprised when he bring out a ball and describe how he gonna treat Usman inside the cage (Best Props Award goes to.. *drumroll). Let's see what happens next? Will it come into reality or the opposite? Grin
1242  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: December 14, 2019, 12:13:00 AM
Commonly has been suggested is to use blockfolio app and that was right. I also used this and regularly monitored my crypto trading. But I did not worry about it very well because I am also using an auto trading bot and when it will pump up the price, the auto sell will work.
If that is a full time job I won't suggest doing in trading because you can't execute very well if you have a lot of work to do than trading. Because it is spending a lot of time when you are digging information on which altcoins that have the potential to pick.
Actually, you're still fortunate to have a bot which automatically sell your coins when the price pumps because most of the time traders really give the majority of their day looking at their monitor and watch the merket trend and only depending purely on their own trading skills. By the way, thanks for your realization and advice to us, now I even more realized that daytrading is not for me at this moment lol (but very soon for sure).
That is why, it is best to use the hours that are left once we go home from work. You can spend at least 1-3 hours of your time to study the market and also to enhance your knowledge and skills in trading so once you got good in choosing which altcoin to trade then it would be easy for you to do some trades while you have a full time job.
Okay let's say you have an 8-hour job which starts from 8 in the morning to 4 p.m., then you said that a certain investor should at least vacant his 3 hours for studying crypto. Well, that's good in a sense that seeking for knowledge never harms us humans Smiley but how about your household chores, your food preparations, your family time, your leisure time? Imagine, you go home tired and you will sleep tired. But well I guess that's how life works Cheesy, and it's better to do such thing than doing not productive things.
1243  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Research] Crypto holder in the Philippines on: December 13, 2019, 04:30:49 PM
No offense pero parang duda ako sa result ng statistical survey. When it comes to Age, I agree somehow that the percentage where teenage and youn adult belongs is small dahil masasabi nating bago pa rin naman itong blockchain technology so 'di pa gaano kaaware ang mga kabataan dito (not yet mentioning the fact that games and social media are the only things which can caught their interest). Pagdating naman sa usapang Gender, medyo duda ako na halos pantay ang number ng male and female. Don't get me wrong, I know female crypto investors are growing further pero ganun na ba talaga sila ka karami? I don't think so, I have a strong gut feeling for that. Another thing that pokes my attention is the number of Unemployed crypto holders, hindi naman sa pangmanaliit pero how come? Paano sila nakakapaginvest kung wala nga silang trabaho? Huh
1244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to gift Bitcoin this Christmas (+cool Bitcoin gift ideas) on: December 13, 2019, 12:52:28 PM
If i will gift to somebody bitcoin they will decide that im mad
Wait a minute, so are you saying that they will think that you are mad if you give them bitcoin? Am I right? If so then a big WHY? How come for them to still have the guts of getting angry after ypu show a piece of generosity? I hope you will clarify your side because I'm really curious on your post Smiley.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 8 on: December 13, 2019, 10:17:47 AM
Example:
For every $1 you can win $10
But you accidentally hit max and made a bet of $1000 but as for the condition/rules that you didn't know, you just won $1500...

So what will be your judgement and at the same time your reaction?
Shocked of course because I considered it as a nearmiss. But the same time, I will feel blessed because I'm fortunate enough Grin. You know what I mean, it's like a feeling of near death experience (okay, maybe that's OA already).

Anyway, but how about accidentally placing a bet due to smartphone lag. Have you ever experienced it before? Because it happened to me actually once Grin. The good thing is that the bet I placed is only around .001 and guess what — I won! Lol.
1246  Economy / Economics / Re: what should consider before investing in a coin? on: December 13, 2019, 06:05:40 AM

Why mind investing in ICO which has an uncertain future if there are already existing stable coins in the market? For me, ICOs are no longer profitable plus the risk you will take upon this is not worth of your money and time ~ change my mind.

So for my answer on this question, the thing which I look at before I invest on a certain coin is its stability, reputation and most importantly, price of course. For this reason, I only stick to btc and alts like xrp, bch and eth.

nothing is really stable in crypto let alone bitcoin and ETH, all fluctuations and risks, when investing in crypto, the greatest capital is being able to accept the risk of loss because the greater the risk we take, the greater the benefits gained.
Yeah I know Cheesy, I know that every single coin in the market is naturally volatile, what I actually mean in the word "stability" is that bitcoin got more stable price rate compare to new tokens which are greatly manipulated by the whales who hoard during its ICO. In simple words, btc is more stable than those Pump&Dump coins. I hope you now get what I mean.
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 12, 2019, 11:44:11 PM
Looks like its not going to be a walk in the park for Holloway this time. The ground and pound game of Alexander is good. Holloway needs to avoid being taken down or its going to be elbows and fists all over him.
To be honest, I don't know him at all but his last name reminds me of a heavyweight fighter tho Grin. Anyway, ai watched the highlights of his fights and in apl fairness he is a very good grappler. Oh boy! It seems that Holloway's stamina will be now tested to it limits It's so amazing to see him pounding his opponents while breathing loud at the same time without even getting exhausted Shocked, I guess Max will not have an easy match against him. I don't want to much prediction but for me if the fight goes to the ground then it's all over for Holloway.

2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too
Nice one dude Wink. This one suits very well for busy and as well as lazy people out there. Actually, this is the fastest way I could imagine to know if a certain project/service/platform got fraudulent activities. Imagine, all you need to do is to get updated on the Scam Accusation (Reputation is helpful too) and you can now filter the scams from legit ones. Plus, you can see testimonies there from our co-members so you can really weigh which side would you believe in Grin. This only proves that our forum is the best one stop place to find everthing inside our beloved crypto sphere.
1249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the most complicated thing about Bitcoin? on: December 12, 2019, 11:59:02 AM
Hmm, let me think first Cheesy. I think the most difficult topic I hardly understand when it comes to bitcoin is its technical aspects (Who's with me? I guess most of us does). I can't imagine what really a block is, about nodes and other stuff related to bitcoin mining. Well, I experienced computing the mining power of a certain rig and knowing its hashrate because I really love solving math and I'm really curious on how much energy it can consumed. However, I don't know if I'm really doing it right because I'm not familiar with the deductions need to be considered like fees from mining pools etc.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not as moron as what you think Grin. I'm willing to study btc's technicalities but unfortunately I don't have plenty of time. I'm just a busy bee these days.
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ‌Uganda Police Arrest Leader of $2.7 million Crypto Scam. on: December 12, 2019, 04:25:05 AM
Quote
When questioned, Mr. Lwanga admitted to being guilty and was willing to make refunds to the investors but cannot do so simply because his accounts are already frozen.
In all fairness, he admitted that he was guilty and somehow feel regret on what he did. However, laws are laws — your mistake cannot be easily corrected by a small simple deed. He should pay for the crume he committed.

What I'm hoping right now is that the money frozen will able to disperse on its true investors very soon. I really felt bad because this incident may cause stigma on all Ugandans or even to whole Africa who are only just starting to embrace cryptocurrency. There's a tendency that majority of them get scared and now refuse to engage with it. Nonetheless, all I hope is that it won't serve as a hindrance for the crypto adoption there (I hope I'm just overthinking).
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good advice or bad advice? on: December 11, 2019, 04:52:22 PM
Hmm, honestly you are making more sense due to your examples. No one really knows the exact future of a particular coin, maybe today it was just a mediocre coin but eventually boom in the future who knows? However, today's scenario are very different way back pioneer days of crypto. Tokens nowadays don't get much support. It's pretty obvious actually, like for example hoarders usually dump their token holdings with no hesitation after being enlisted on exchanges. See? They're not supporting the coin in the long run, they're only up to its present worth. So how a certain coin stabilize if that is what always happening?

The bottom line is we can't easily assume that the future of tokens at present will have the same fate as eth, bch, xrp do. Though they got same or even better characteristics than those old coins, there is still a big gap between of them simply because old alts got higher reputation than the others Smiley.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: December 11, 2019, 10:15:01 AM
I wonder how they will split the incentive for every Gold medal brought home coming from the basketball team. Incentive is around $16,800 USD and they will split that among all players since Basketball is considered as just 1 Gold medal.
Is the incentive that really big!? :O. It's just seems small in terms of USD but on our currency it was almost a million! In my opinion, that's enough for the whole tram already. What I'm wondering right now is that how single gold medalists felt receiving almost a million pesos. What a fortunate for all of them, they already did their passion, make our country proud and got a pot of money. What else they could ask for Cheesy?
1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 11, 2019, 08:16:07 AM
I tried playing crypto related Telegram channels, join FB campaign, try crypto faucets and even answer quick surveys before to earn crypto. Some of it really gives me few amount and some are just a bunch of scam, but that was very long time ago during my newbie days and I already choose to forget how naive I am before lol. Well, maybe it's normal for all aspiring crypto investors to have that kind of experience tho. Anyway, now that I'm more experienced when it comes to crypto, I just simply stick on investing and long term hodling plus joining sig campaigns (sig campaigns only, not bounties) for extra income Cheesy.
1254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: December 11, 2019, 12:30:10 AM
Thailand can't do anything against the Philippines, was not even close, 115-81.

And it was the 13th straight gold for the Philippines in basket? Wow, what a dominance. Their women side also won the gold medal, so they really have a stronghold of this sports. No wonder why this is the number sport in the Philippines. Well done!
So impressive, isn't it? Grin. Even their naturalized player can't do anything by himself alone to stop the momentum of Philippines. Everyone from the Gilas contributed on their winning victory most especially to inside offense of Abay and Stand, and Pringle's speedy moves. Anyway, I already expected their win since it was only in SEA region but everthing looks unpleasant once they go to FIBA World lol but at least they try and that's a thing which you can be proud of already Smiley.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite project these days? on: December 10, 2019, 11:09:29 PM
A big NONE! If the kind of project you are pertaining avout is ICO and bounties. What I'm only interested to is Bitcoin. I already learned my lesson after I invested to Electroneum last 2017 (as far as I remember) and I don want to happen again. Such a waste of money, strategy and most importantly time and effort Grin. So here's my simple advice, avoid new projects because most of them are scam at least futureless lol.
1256  Economy / Economics / Re: Hi Excuse me Are currencies a "store of value on: December 10, 2019, 03:30:44 PM
In general, any currency should fulfill the function of storing value, another thing is that they perform this function in different ways, depending on many factors. Paper money of states periodically and gradually lose their value due to inevitable inflation.
A decentralized cryptocurrency can hardly be attributed to good value storages due to its very high price volatility. And it seems that she will always have high volatility.
Well, that's normal tho. Inflation of market when it come to centralized and ATH in the world of crypto seems ideal for me already. Some of you might say that word "ideal" is too much, okay fair enough, I say so because in reality it's very rare to see such conditions Grin. I guess the best thing we could do is to pray for the best and get used to it at the same time — less expectations, less hurt. If you will ask me to choose one, I would probably choose the high volatilty. At least you still got chance of sudden price spike compare to slow but constant inflation.
Okay, I'll give you a direct answer first.

There's nothing wrong of creating threads din but always make sure na makabuluhan ito. As much as possible wag mga generic topics gawin mo para naman mas maganda ang macreate na discussion plus get a higher chance of earning merits.
Nonetheless, one thing is for sure, possible ang pagrank. May 2 merits ka na kabayan, just keep up the good work.
1258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt is now legal in Ukraine on: December 10, 2019, 04:30:02 AM
Great news for the crpyto sphere but more specifically to Ukraine. I'm getting a little bit jealous to be honest simply because crypto's legalization there is already in process. Meaning, they can use btc freely without getting distracted by the possible violations very soon. Hmm, we can already presume that they will become successful with their attempt and maybe this could be a great start for all the members of EU to adapt cryptocurrency as well. So cool Shocked! Now I wonder when the SEA region will do the same thing (I'm hoping so bad).
1259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 10, 2019, 12:05:00 AM
Alistar Overeem needs to do a plastic surgery to reconstruct that damage as he partially lost his upper lips and who knows whether he will be the same again even if he does all the surgery he might loose the sensation in that area
I saw a post on FB with the screenshot of his Twitter post if I'm not mistaken and says that his upper lip was stitched up already and he also thanks for us and hope we enjoyed the fight. Ahhmm, I am not sure if he will be the same as before because that tissue for sure will be more sensitive to pressure. What I'm this future opponents might take advantage of it but I hope not because I believe that compassion is still existing in the world of MMA. I know that the aim of each fighters are to beat their own opponents but I think not to the extent of putting their health/lives at serious risk.
1260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 candidates predicted by bookies to win Miss Universe 2019 on: December 09, 2019, 02:04:57 PM
I also never expect who's gonna win and I think it is impossible that the Philippines will win again.
Yeah! I do not hope too much that Philippines will take home the crown once again simply because the preceding beauty queen is a Filipino as well. If Gazini won, I'm pretty sure that bad critics along social media or even different countries will approach in no time. Most probably they say that "judges are biased" blah blah blah. What I'm not expecting is that she failed to be at least on the Top 10 because the previous Filipina candidates did. So sad Sad. Anyway, I'm happy that South Africa won — she now reprepsent a new face of beauty Smiley.
I have been watched the pageant of Miss Universe2019 last night and Congratulation to Miss South African candidate who got the crown and of course their bettors I'm sure they are celebrating right now. "Wakanda Forever" to the South Africans.

I remembered this scene of how happy she is.

Oh Shocked! You made me wonder. What if there's really a place called Wakanda and she came from from lol Grin. (What a coincidence!)
