This method of scamming was used during the ICO and other crypto hypes,  where random coins will be dropped into your wallet without your involvement with the network and in an attempt to claim the spam coins they will demand for a fee,  that few is where their scam lies.

Hackers no fit get you if you no lose guard, na the thing be that. Them need you to open whatever they send to you before them go get access to you because that thing wey them send na various. The thing been dey happen as you talk with airdrop and airdrop self na shit stuff yet person go carry hand take pack aboki shit. The simple matter na to avoid scammers. As dem send the link now, if Op sister no beginning to open am then nothing for happen. Make we dey learn to avoid scammers by not even reading their message not to talk of clicking or replying..
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What resources do you have for members who may be dealing with addiction? on: August 16, 2023, 08:08:50 PM

As addiction is a serious issue, if anyone here has been able to overcome it? Why not share how to overcome with such an addiction. As per my understanding all of these addiction have the same initial therapy. Do you agree with me? Cool

Thanks.

Most of the people who have walked out from gambling addiction have done that by personal effort and not by external, although external might be instrumental to it but you have to make up your mind to reduce the rate of gambling. I still believe that most people gamble because of financial lack and they want something that can double what they have with them. So talking about the external help, providing of alternative source of income would help. I know addicts in the past who have stopped gambling because they are now employed. Being employed means your time is divided and while you have expectation of financial to fall back on outside gambling. Therefore, there is tendency for an unemployed addict to be relieved of gambling if he is employed.

.

Point being made here is, every country is fighting a war not just Russia or Ukraine instead every country is fighting one. We are also in the war with inflation and our country is totally depend on the Dollar because we are under huge debt from many countries but IMF is the one on top of the list. And increasing Interest rates are root problem of all of these things. There must be a balance between these economic situations.

The pioneer economic crisis for the world this decade began with COVID-19 pandemic IMO. The economic effect that is going on now has its roots from 2020 when the world almost shut down for the whole year. In fact some countries in Europe stayed back from manufacturing and financial activities. So the world economy is yet to recover from that, the infiltration of wars around only amplified the situation at hand.
2184  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POLITICS AND LIES on: August 16, 2023, 05:34:52 PM

But is politics supposed to really be about lies? Why is the polity dominating by propaganda?

In the real sense of it, people who go into politics are suppose to be those who have conscience because they are suppose to go and make judicious use of the people's common wealth for the benefit of the people but the reverse is the case. If someone who is not rich enters into political office, after the tenure then go back and check the financial status of that same person and you will be astonished especially in third world countries. There are suppose to be a very strong institutions melt to punish political thieves.
2185  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The fate of Democracy in West Africa shakes on: August 16, 2023, 03:41:56 PM
This is one of the reasons why there are so many insurgency everywhere in Africa and the government of Africa are less concerned. The military government taking or Niger is a sign of weakness in the government and country security because the government isn't competent enough to rule the country.

It is not just about Niger alone that coup has been happening, some couple of countries in west Africa has witnessed it also like Mali, Burkina Faso, Sudan. So it is not Niger issue alone but bad governance that has taken over the polity of African countries and the masses are tired of the kind of poverty and impoverishment that they are going through, you could see the jubilation in Niger by the masses and that is to show the people want to try change since they have not benefited from that kind of democracy. However, the issue is whether the military will be able to what they felt Bazoum was not doing or is just going to be another charade because the military personnels are also part of the society.
2186  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is there a site where you can withdraw without deposit? on: August 16, 2023, 12:41:00 PM

It is surely a waste of time. But let's say I need to earn a small amount of Coins, are there any other options apart from casinos and airdrops?

Buy btc and hodl. You can buy btc worth of at least $100 value if that is what you can afford and you can hodl it for something until the halving come. You can be lucky to have 100%, 200 or 300% increase on it. So imagine if you invested $1,000 or $2,000 worth of btc with such ROI. This is not an investment guide anyway but it is most reasonable thing to do with btc before halving.

In fact, once you could easily draw quite good amounts from the faucets, let me tell you that now I would have a few or a dozen bitcoins if I collected them - but they were much cheaper then and I didn't expect bitcoin to become so expensive.

I'm sure you never thought bitcoin will get such to that value now. Or if you knew about it then, you may not have invested like those who also said bitcoin was a bubble and those who used their bitcoin to pay for just pizza  Grin
2187  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Canada censoring the internet? on: August 16, 2023, 12:11:19 PM
Censorship of the internet is one way that the government try to put their illicit activities away from the people. It is not only in Canada, in Nigeria it happens often times. The media houses are the culprits of this, most times during media interview like television or radio shows, guest are restricted from the things they say about government. So you see some media stationed being levied or fined for the interview they granted to a guest or the public. The frustration of the media by the government is alarming because government don't want the negative narratives to be in the public.

2188  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is there a site where you can withdraw without deposit? on: August 16, 2023, 11:52:54 AM
Look for casinos that are reliable and save up some money to deposit and get their welcome bonus. You can be lucky to have your chance of winning but faucets are no longer profitable.

The reason why you see those casinos place in a free coin either hourly or daily or faucets in their casino is to enable those that are scared to put their money into their site to still be able to test their site without having to risk their money.

Casinos do that as a business strategy to win more players because if you get in there then you are attracted to sign up with them but apart from that, nothing more to it.
2189  Economy / Economics / Re: How to developed your capital on: August 16, 2023, 11:02:25 AM
To develop your capital effectively it's crucial to adopt a strategic and diversified approach. Maybe start by setting clear financial goals & creating a budget to track your income & expenses.

Explore different investment options such as stocks, real estate, crypto or mutual funds. Consider starting a small business or exploring entrepreneurship opportunities. Maybe focus on enhancing your skills & knowledge through continuous learning as it can lead to better career prospects & higher earning potential. Patience, discipline & adaptability are key to long term capital growth.

These are nice suggestions because in the current economic situation of the world, you can't survive with just one source of income, you need multifaceted income so that you can also have free money to invest somewhere else. Being multiple talented is an advantage and that is why sharpening of skills is good and learning more skills become an advantage. With multi skills, you have an edge in the economy and you can fit in any situation of the economy. If you work yourself to the extent that getting access to jobs is easy and you have employers looking for your service that means your monetary value will automatically be on the high side and you have free capital to run other businesses.
2190  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The effects of Bitcoin on Forex on: August 15, 2023, 10:42:54 PM

I would like to know how else Bitcoin has affected forex trading and what the growth of forex trading would have been like if Bitcoin had never existed

I know that bitcoin facilited easy deposit and withdrawal just like other platforms that use blockchain and bitcoin like gambling casino. Bitcoin make tins about financial transactions dey very easy in all aspects even for exchange. Forex brokers don include am for the platform and does wey never dey feel say dem dey lack behind. Brokers like Alpari get such  payment, hotforex too and some more and d the don make dem wey dey operate bitcoin begin use naira too and e don make tins flexible enough.

E even get wen pepo dey send $ and d the tin go stay days but now na fast fast even for deriv as I don read some tins about d transaction.

2191  Economy / Economics / Re: People don't understand the problem with monetary system. on: August 15, 2023, 09:05:25 PM
Most people do not understand that economic problems are very complicated so they do not have good preparation, if we are married then it is time to always be aware of economic phenomena in the future, inflation will often occur so we have to do everything to be able to survive monetary problems...

Inflation affect every body that is making use of fiat and not just married people. So  both single and married have to plan on how to take care of it. One possible way to take care of it is by investing. Some people think that saving is the way to sort themselves from inflation but that is not real because you still would use the savings one day and of course the price of goods won't be the same from what it was before the savings. So it is better to diversify by investing what you have now for the purpose of future, it seems the future keeps growing in inflation.
2192  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free Condolence Bonuses to Betnomi exit scam victims on: August 15, 2023, 08:14:40 PM
This "condolence bonus" is just one big joke. I lost 28K in Betnomi and I had to fill in a document with all kinds of screenshots to prove my losses in there, and that took me about an hour. And all I got is a bonus of just 200 USD.

They make it look like a generous bailout action but it's just some bullshit action to get some more customers.

Quote
Therefore, we have decided to offer a free bonus to all victims of Betnomi who still have funds stuck there. No deposit required.

Sorry for your loss on betnomi. That amount is really such a big one and I wonder how many more huge amount that they exited with.

Well, regards to your complain on the bonus, it is not funny but I think they called it bonus and I don't think they specified any amount to be paid to survivals from betnomi. I'm thinking is just a registration bonus by the way.
2193  Economy / Economics / Re: How to developed your capital on: August 15, 2023, 07:46:37 PM
I took time to research and observed that 75% of youths their problem is inability to develop their capital in capital market, most at times we are bless with so much that one find it difficult to control your finances or resources. I notice it usually affects people do not work hard to earn but probably the gimics or scams that makes them to make this money easily but after a while you discovered the person down why?

I don't believe that when people don't work hard for money and they get that they will useless it because they didn't work hard for it or that they won't value it, no. I think there are many factors leading to such loss. They could be too young to know how to manage it and that is why money management is important in financial growth. Even adult who don't have that discipline to manage money hardly controls it. When you have the management gift or skill then you can invest. So the two points for me is money management and investment , those are what helps to develop capital.
2194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legality of Online Gambling in Different Countries on: August 15, 2023, 05:04:11 PM

it's just that there are others online here among us who run illegally or operate illegally, there are a lot of them here especially on social media platforms that are endorsed by well-known influencers in our country that I think the others don't know that it's illegal because after influencers only pay them for what they promote. so poor their other followers who follow and believe in them.

Casinos and gambling sites that are legal have gotten so much endorsement from influential personalities lately and I think this is across the country. For soccer betting, those known footballers have been used as ambassadors in their countries including mine and that brings a kind of vibes into the game and takes away the fear of illegality. I think it is a strategy for these casino companies to include those influential to create the feeling of partnership with them.

Something strange appears to be going on in Africa. News appears limited in certain regions and I have even seen radar evidence that most of central Africa is a no fly zone for some unexplained reason. I hope I’m just I’ll informed and something more sinister isn’t happening, but with the state of today’s news it’s hard to know what is really going on.

Well is all over the news that the military in Niger ousted the democratic government of Mohamed Bazoum barely two weeks ago and since then it has generated different interest. First the immediate bloc which is ECOWAS have given timeframe to reinstate democracy but the military have refused and the time line given has elapsed. ECOWAS have given alot of sanctions to Niger like seizure of their account with them, closure of boarders and threat of military force to rescue the president and reinstall him. This has been the general overview on the matter while some West Africa countries led by military have also announced support for Niger if ECOWAS soldiers invade the territory of Niger.
2196  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The fate of Democracy in West Africa shakes on: August 15, 2023, 03:26:55 PM

Africa needs assistance and the continent is open to any country that offers help. We saw citizens of Nigerian waving the Russian flag because they assume that Russia will be a better partner. Nigerians now believe that France has been exploiting them since independence.

African leaders are not proactive themselves. Agreement is give and take but they will be blind to those arrangement that will see them being exploited only if they are promised some affluence abroad. Just very few of African leaders have stood their ground not to be exploited like Muammar Gaddafi but they used his people to kill him because he wanted to unify Africa financial system.
2197  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The fate of Democracy in West Africa shakes on: August 15, 2023, 01:51:46 PM

I personally fear that this uprising against democracies in Africa could continue in coming years and it could be translated to an increase of the influence regimes like those in Russia, China and even in the middle east could have there. Let us not fool ourselves, Those countries are very interested in expanding the range of their influence (specially the sanctioned Russia), and they would not think too much on the idea of overthrowing small Republics in order to achieve their agende in the long run.

There is high possibilities in the last part that you mentioned. Russia could be looking for alliance in Africa apart from South Africa who was already fingered for supporting them at the Ukraine war. At the eve of the military coup in Niger and at the moment, the flag of Russia has been seen all over the internet by the people of Niger waving them, this is significant enough that it could be an alliance already. Some Russian group has been in communication with Niger military already. This all makes it complicated because US being the leader of NATO follows Russia to region where they are trying to occupy. Africans need to wake up from neocolonialism.
2198  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: BTC/NGN price manipulation on Binance or what is this on: August 15, 2023, 01:01:44 PM
That is about 6 times the current price. That one dey obvious say no be manipulation because the figures are far apart and if someone want like buy 1 btc, you go notice am but if na to just check price person fit no look well reach that side. Me I think say some system mistake happen there and or one new guy just go touch the back wire wey CZ take connect the back end server (in the voice of Mr Yakubu)  Grin
2199  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Could bitcoin help Nigeria falling economy on: August 15, 2023, 11:18:41 AM
You for still make your post interesting by telling us wetin you think about your question and how you take think say bitcoin go do miracle. The Nigerian economic challenges no concern bitcoin, na the government no want do the right thing but only interested in playing games with people life. Only fix electricity self you go see say the economy go begin grow because manufacturing go begin start up and importation go reduce which will make the craze and scarcity of dollar to reduce and the value of naira go improve.
