I'm becoming convinced that our poor Fakhoury bro got abducted by ISIS.  Sad

I was thinking a space alien abduction😆

It's unfortunate but if I remember correctly he said he quit posting because some person(s) were giving him crap over his articles. I wish he'd come back too though.

Nah, who said this Cheesy

I'm just drowning in the twitter land Cheesy

Side note : Thanks for all my friends who asked after me, without you and your support, I'm NOTHING !!
Bro, I'm holding you personally responsible for us being stuck at 610ish for the last few months considering your lack of posting bullish news. Driving asleep at the wheel?  Tongue Seriously tho, we're right on track for a nice fall/early winter rally coming up. The next historical wave is on its way, so hopefully everyone has their finances in order accordingly.
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit is comming soon, only a matter of time we explode to 1000+ on: October 02, 2016, 05:06:25 AM
Hillary Clinton is great.
You never seem to be able to at least show some compassion for Bitcoin, right? It's only hate and negativity coming from you.

SegWit is the kind of update people here have been waiting for, and when activated, it can bring Bitcoin to the next level.

But no, you are still being the ultra bear that you always have been.

And if you really believe more in ETH and XMR, then why are you still in the Bitcoin part of this forum?
I marvel at how you don't have this dirtbag on your ignore list yet. He sold out at 10$ coins and has been wanting to influence noobs out of the opportunity of a lifetime by spreading FUD whenever he can. True world class street rat of the lowest order, that's right I said it.

Bitcoin is ultimately deflationary by its very nature where almost nothing else is, so its something you'd want plenty of and accumulating more of over time. Of course, it's more of where you'd keep your savings as traditional savings accounts pay nothing over time these days as artificially low interest rates cause central banks to service govt debt via inflation to the holder, thus losing purchasing power over time unlike Bitcoin. Central banks across the world are constantly devaluing their currencies and that is partially why Bitcoin keeps gaining leverage in those denominated currencies. The main question is whether u want more of your country's fiat money which is inflated every year, or bitcoin which grows in value over time as fiat values erode.

No SegWit yet, right?  No on-chain scaling in the works at all.
Mining still centralized in China with no plans at all to address the problem, right?

Bitcoin either completely useless or becoming so for payment processing? check.

Doesn't seem to be a good store of value.
Doesn't seem to be a good medium of exchange. 10 minutes for a confirmation?
Doesn't seem to be a useful unit of account.

Whatever. Keep buying or holding. I haven't quite paid off my house yet.

Yes, in other words the trolls are out, and you, BJA, are continuing to assert that you are in a good position no matter which way BTC prices go.. without really acknowledging that you engaged in substantially large shorts  in the upper $200s in late 2015 and in the upper $300s in May 2016...    Your batting average is not too good, and maybe the fact that you are here, asserting that the sky is falling could be a sign that peeps need to go "all in."   hahahahaha
   Wink Wink

Huh You know any perfect traders? Yeah, my shorts got rekt, but since I started buying at $6 and have already broke even, everything I do from here on out is pure profit. The only question is how much, so if I was a boob who bought near the ATH, I wouldn't be throwing stones.
Look who the cat (mattthecat?) dragged in, hard to tell who the real kwukduk is these days. Tarmi, is that you?
226  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is Max amount of btc once you own? on: September 20, 2016, 06:55:35 PM
It's shocking to read how many people throw away their coins on gambling sites. Being frivolous with your precious coins won't get you anywhere. I have my fair share of coins and then some but my guess is the lion's share of coins in existence are owned by a concentrated pool of big wallets. Very interesting to see how even other legendary members hold 5 coins or less as we were all blessed w/ the opportunity to buy at cheap prices. However, considering that most new folks likely have minimal salaries, I do understand the want to increase one's meager holdings by playing the game of chance - be it gambling or trading. I worked hard to accumulate what I have so I do not spend them, I use fiat for my needs and BTC for much of my savings

This analyst is predicting a bloodbath and the start of another major bear market for Bitcoin - that could kill it. Sad

Bullshit drop if I've ever seen one. This is going way up!
230  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: September 08, 2016, 03:26:45 AM
And here, class, we have a perfect example.

Mat is insinuating that he keeps a lot of his money, fiat and crypto, on exchanges. This is, of course, a completely retarded thing to do and the only reason he suggests it is to further his narrative, that being: Bitcoin is insecure and Mat is a perpetual victim!

However, he might still keep a percentage of his holdings there, even if not all of it. This is because, as noted above, he has a pathological need to remain in the victim role. In setting himself up to be robbed, for example by deliberately having weak account security (as he himself, some might say proudly, explained all about recently), and then waiting for someone to come along and guess his password of 123456, he stays in the victim role and feels vindicated in proclaiming bitcoin to be one huge scamfest.

This is the opposite psychology of what we commonly term "normal". There are people out there who will deliberately hurt themselves, simply for the sake of dragging even one of us down with him. They are what older and wiser people termed Evil.

ha ha...wot an uptight bitter cunt u are.
I sincerely hope you didn't take a major hit nor continually keep your money on exchanges after the fact. That said, he smoked you like a joint and you need to own up to it.

Ok, so it wasn't a drunken rant, Roach has officially gone off the deep end.
Roach went to the dumb farm and this is the end result. Being gone a month is shameful but that is the verdict before us. Make a forecast bro! Trump 2016, that's right i said it/
232  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 01, 2016, 03:54:13 AM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

Missed a half a week and see I didn't miss anything. $578 according to BitcoinAverage.

That's a full month of sideways. Flat August. What will September bring?

I'd buy more coins before the probable price rise but I need to use my extra cash to buy my post-season baseball tickets before the deadline and secure my seats (and more) for next year.

My excess tickets will return more than double on Stubhub. Hopefully my bitcoins will return at least that much. Either way it's better than keeping money in some goofy bank.

I've been mulling over buying and holding a few more BTC. I can't help but shake the notion we'll see a better buying opportunity soon though.

With some luck, our Tigers might pay you a visit this postseason!
Bullish! Yeah, our Tigers walked off today against the pathetic Sox and are headed into KC with a full head of steam and plenty of mojo. I'd love to see the Tigers take the division over the Tribe and stick it to the Jays in the first round.  Tongue We're gonna get back A+ talent in September, something that Jim's Jays haven't been w/o this season. We're gonna getcha!

I’m a Young Black Man and I Support Donald Trump

In the past 15 months, I have found myself supporting four different candidates for President: Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Bernie Sanders and now billionaire businessman and Republican Party nominee, Donald Trump. As a 14-year-old, I may not be able to vote in this election, but I am deeply invested in its outcome.

Some have ridiculed me for supporting various candidates across the ideological spectrum. In a condescending blog post last December, conservative radio host Erick Erickson accused me of desperately seeking attention, questioned my intellectual capacity and instructed me to “shut up, and go live life.” This reaction makes one thing clear: many people in the “old guard” do not have the slightest understanding of the political philosophies of my generation.

I believe that the future of America is post-party politics. I hope that in 10 to 20 years, the near constant issue of partisanship will be a distant memory.

Mods are still present, there's been tons of deleted threads from dumb bitch #1 - won't say who called the cavalry. This place has been cleaned up daily for quite some time. What remains is just sig campaigners doing their weekly chores.

Donald Trump is in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, helping hand out supplies to flood victims, as President Obama vacations in Martha’s Vineyard.

On Friday, Trump Force One touched down in the Louisiana capitol where the presidential nominee along with vice presidential hopeful Mike Pence visited the victims of recent floods that have left 13 people dead, and thousands displaced.

LOUISIANA FLOODS: TRUMP VISITS, OBAMA GOLFS, HILLARY SLEEPS

Louisiana Floods: Trump Visits, Obama Golfs, Hillary Sleeps

Donald Trump is meeting the victims of the Louisiana floods on Friday – while President Obama golfs and Hillary Clinton naps.
It’s ironic – yet revealing – how the GOP nominee who made millions building golf courses is visiting the flood-ravaged areas of Baton Rouge while Obama, who once criticized then-President Bush for his mishandling of Hurricane Katrina, plays on golf courses.

In fact, Obama just played his 300th round of golf as president.

...

Meanwhile Hillary is no where to be found; her last public appearance was on Wednesday and she has no scheduled events until Sunday, underscoring her lack of energy and poor health overall.
At least Obama has the energy to golf; Hillary can barely stand up for long periods of time.

Today, New York Times Bestselling author Ed Klein has revealed on The Sean Hannity Show that sources have confirmed to him that not only is The Clinton Foundation under federal investigation, but also at least one Clinton Foundation insider is prepared to testify in a court of law against Hillary.

Reports of legal troubles for the foundation began last week when The Daily Caller reported that a joint FBI-US Attorney probe of The Clinton Foundation is currently underway. The charge is supported by a number of emails recently released by Judicial Watch, which suggest The Clinton Foundation engaged in pay-for-play while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State.

"We are a long way from Hillary Clinton sliding into The White House without having some real serious legal problems before this election," Klein told Hannity.

During his interview, Klein, author of the forthcoming book Guilty As Sin, dropped a number of bombshells
