The price of the coin does not determine the life of death of the project it is the users and the developers that determine if it will die.
The price is just a supply vs demand thing and a greed mechanism for people hording to sell higher. The project is more useful if people actual use it and it is becoming better.

normally hard forks make the price of coins go down this is the first time ive seen one jump at the news of a possible hard fork it is pretty odd to me.

Same problem googled it took me here no answer how exactly does Masternode genkey work can i just generate many of these and use anyone for any node?
OR is each key in some way connected with the coins used in collateral because if its just some random identifier whats stopping anyone from using other peoples coins for there own masternode.

I don't believe it will ever work and if this project cant do such a simple thing after 1 year of development there is no hope until it works fully with no issues I can not have any faith in the devs at this point.

Don't invest in stupid alts that already have value marketcap wise You should stick with bitcoin like you said if you wanna invest in alts just find small new projects that you actually see potential in.
Then you can invest what you can afford to lose and see what happens form that cant trust random top alts like dash and NEO to retain you value for years and year its going to be lost.

This is a correct analysis it only goes up when big investors take bitcoin up pumping know litecoin is next and people ride the train.
I do not think this will keep happening eventually bitcoin gets to high and the money becomes to much required to play with and pump litecoin thats why we see it pulling more more down the list of top coins.

The coin works we only need the developer to be active when something needs to be developed at the moment we need adoption not coding.

Depends how high you bought to determine if holding is gonna make you profits or even viable to break even some of these coins wont last another year so if your holding some pumped up shit coin.

Next investment make sure you buy lower like in the coins early days so you dont have to invest a large amount then holding feels better.

There needs to be a better solution to storing large sums of money so trusting the bank is not a good looking option. its a terrible option but people still see it as there best bet.

I don't see the market changing much. Just like how Google amazon have a lot of market share of the Internet some top 2-5 cryptos will take most market share and become the norm to use.

You just have to keep the private keys safe don't store them on anything connected to the Internet back them up to many locations if you have enough Bitcoins taking out a safety deposit box is a good idea.
but just keeping them on different types of media like USB hard drive you can even write it down on paper and then re type it into a wallet to see if you got the key correct.

Just don't keep them on the used desktop pc and call it bitcoin private key in plain text
