What websites (besides this forum) or other sources do you use to get news about your coins?
I read on bitcointalk but have the feeling that I miss a lot of interesting news about the coins I own (currently BTC, OMG, ADX, SUB, KMD, ARK, BLOCK, ETH) and would like to stay more 'in the news'.

I'll just read in the bitcoin forum. And go to different site to gather information about BTC and altcoin. Its important for me to updated because I'am joining in a signiture campaign. So in order to produce a quality post I should be knowlegdeable about all happening in bitcoin. Its better to be educated than never. |

As you can read the title, these are the words said by Former Wall Street giant turned Billionaire Mike Novogratz that they won't be surprised if Bitcoin reaches $10k by 2018. We have all been seeing some sarcastic comments from many Wall Street giants and here's an opposite statement coming from someone who used to be a part a Wall-Street. Hey critics, what do you think now?
We are sure to see 10k very soon because the price has broken the level that I expected it to, before the end of October. So, let's just start counting days unless this battle between SW and S2X comes to an end and let the real action begin.
Actually I also believed that bitcoin can reach that amount. Because as you see the bitcoin price now it almost $8,100. So its not impossible for the bitcoin to be in that price. In addition to that many investor are encourage to join bitcoin. So they are willing to convert their money in bitcoin. |

Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?
I dont think so. For me it was just a strategy on how you could earn a little bit bigger than usual. It is not sign of any greediness, you'll just think wise and look for another way on how you could earn more. The greediness was having a lot of account, joining in one campaign. You are pooling everybody just to earn big. Aside from that being addicted into gambling was also showing a greediness. |

Given the fall in bitcoin in the past 24-32hrs, is it a good time to buy bitcoin?
For me yes. It is the right time to buy bitcoin and hold it till the end of the year. Bitcoin reaches $8,200 and now it is falling to $7,900. We know that it is still high but if you already buy in that amount and sell it to higher amount. I think you can still have profit from there. For my perception it is the right time to buy bitcoin, but not the right time to sell coin. |

Well actually the alt market has been dropping vs bitcoin for 4-5 months look at the top 20 coins and zoom out Well you bought at a bad time, we have all made that mistake once but do not try to correct one mistake with another buying bitcoin with your alts, that is going to be a bad idea, you are going to lose money and then there is no guarantee that bitcoin goes higher, I know it can be hard watching another coin pumping but you have no other choice but to hold even for years if necessary until you recover your losses. Yes I agree. Sometime you really need a patience in wait when your coin will going to pump. But for me it should be a lesson to you that you should also choose the altcoin that your going to hold. Since not all alternative coin has a potential to regain again its value after the fall down. |

I really hope BTC can go to below $3K so that I could buy a lot more!!
I was weak half a year ago and did not buy enough BTC when it was $3K.
I really regretted that decision now!...
If you are waiting to buy bitcoins at that low price then you are really wasting your time as we will never see that price again in future as price has started to rise now and if there is decrease in the price it will never go below $5k but in future it will surely go above $10k so if you have money you can buy it even now as in future you will be making some good profits on your investments. Now price is low if you compare it with 100000 dollars. I don't believe that we will see price under 6000 dollars ever again. Something big needs to happen in order price to drop so much, people talking about more adoption in company sector, countries will regulate bitcoins, all that can just bring more people into bitcoin world and that will just make demand go to the sky and price is headed there too. Don't wait 3000 dollar's its my advice too, and don't regret, I was here when price was 200 dollars and I don't regret for missed opportunity, new coins are here, bitcoin is rising more, concentrate on that and buy now if you have money! Yes I agree to you. I dont think that bitcoin will crash until that amount. Its too low for the bitcoin. And since that many investor are coming for bitcoin, it will never happen that the price of it will fall down until $3000. Aside from that no altcoin are booming now so it means everyone are focusing in bitcoin. |

Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..

Yes you made a wrong decision. But its ok , atleast you learned from your mistake. And you will be a better trader since you already experience the consequence of the wrong decision you did. And as a trader you should have a long patience to wait until the value of the coin that you are holding rises. Actually your nothing to loose when you wait. |

Today's economy is either rising or falling depending on the consumers and sellers. If you join the Bitcoin, there is a high probability that you will gain something from your money because there are a lot of opportunities here. So my question is, "Where do you usually spend your money that you have gained here in Bitcoin?"
Actually the money I gained from bitcoin becomes my saving. Because I prefer to hold my bitcoin than to exchange it to our local rate. Since I also know that holding bitcoin , can also make your money to grow. And aside from that I still have my job to support my daily needs. Except when I really come to short and need to use my fiat in bitcoin. |

Why use Bitcoins ?
I keep seeing threads on “why don't people” ? The real question to me is Why would they ?
-The average consumer will go way out of their way to save money. Bitcoins cost more.
-The average consumer will usually pay a little extra to have convenience. Bitcoin is less convenience and more hoops and complications.
I just cannot see any reason for the average consumer to use Bitcoins. Until average consumers start using Bitcoins they will just be an experiment and a small speculative bubble.
I have my personal reasons, I am interested Bitcoins them as a tech person, speculative investor and person that follows evolving treads and markets. I am just struggling to see any.. benefits for the average consumer at this stage.
Bitcoin was not designed in the way you are describing it. Bitcoin was not made for people to use it to buy groceries and everyday spending with. It is meant as an investment option, similar to gold. Bitcoin is also fairly anoymous, especially if you use multiple addresses. Think of bitcoin as gold and compare them. They re both investments but Bitcoin has the abilibity to be spent online. I also agree to you, bitcoin is a opportunity to earn even if you your job. And we can't say that since bitcoin has a value is it can already been use in shopping or in groceries. Remember BTC was done online, so if want to use it. You can use it in also some online transaction. That will make you more tech person. |

I dont think a single coin can make us rich. I still believe that in order to become rich we should have a lot of investment so that our income will come from different invest. So if one investment will not work , you still have a back up. And aside from that when the value of bitcoin fall down, you still have another option. |

Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.
I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.
Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

For me its a good decision to make. Its nice that you have a variety of investment ad not just focus in a one coin only. Perhaps when the value of bitcoin goes high , altcoin will fall down. And vice versa when altcoin goes high, bitcoin will fall down. So its nice if both of your investment are earning. Especially if you hold it for long time. |

You can have a bitcoin even without capital, just join the campaign. You just need to work hard and make constructive post. Dont be in to trading if you dont have idea on it, you might lost your money.
Yes the signature and the other campaigns are here but why don’t you earn the bitcoin with the investment if you will invest the capital you will see the price and the value of the bitcoin will increase more and more give you the benefit and this is the reason why all the people are buying the bitcoin I know how the bitcoin will increase and the price of the bitcoin will give you the chance to grow and to promote the bitcoin. Yes it is true, if you dont have money and you still want to invest in bitcoin. You can join some signiture campaign that will give you your weekly salary in bitcoin. It will be great if bitcoin really reach that amount in the future. Since that bitcoin now is at almost $8,000. Im sure that many bitcoin holder will keep their bitcoin until they reach that amount. So that when they exchange their bitcoin to their local range it will become larger that before. And this is one of the advantage of bitcoin when you save it. |

I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?
For the reason why bitcoin is the most popular coin so far is because it is also the high coin among the other. Share your ideas here.  In my opinion, I think we will be stuck in one price or maybe worse we will all go down. Here is what happened when US citizens are saving too much. That's important because American spenders make up the majority -- about 70% -- of economic activity in the country. If people don't spend, the economy doesn't grow.
Check it out hereIf that will be the case that no one will spend bitcoin. Then there will no improvement will happen. All users will just hoard bitcoin. And the value of well I think will not be that high. Because the movement of investment is one ways. And it is just to earn. How about spend? I believe that in order to grow an investment you must be in pedal your capital until have your profit. |

bitcoin is about to reach 8000 USD
The recovery is too fast. and there is a high chance for 10,000 USD by end of this year.
Bitcoin was really a strong currency. It can recover from the fall down and surpass its past price. It just an indication that no matter what happen bitcoin can still be better after any struggle. So its means that we don't need to panic selling if the price of bitcoin was falling down. We juat need to be patience becuse it will continue to grow again. |
